No topic is safe. Diabolically dialectical with engaging content and relevant information. This snarky, impactful, 20-30 minute podcast presents a new topic weekly to stock your social drinking arsenal with witty banter and sexy dinner conversation without disrupting your schedule. Long enough to gain valuable insight and short enough not to arouse suspicion in the bathroom when hiding from visiting relatives. This podcast is authentic and has hard conversations at times. Growing up my grandmother would take me to the library in the town where I grew up every weekend. One fateful day, I ventured out of the children's room and headed up the massive Victorian staircase to the upstairs. I was awestruck by the 3-level open space, surrounded with balconies filled with books. In one cornered I wandered up to the very top level and found a dark and dusty corner room. It was filled floor to ceiling with records, which I had never seen before. I checked out "Lights Out: Murder Castle", a vintage radio horror. So began a lifelong love of the kind of audio wizardry that could be cooked up with sound long, long before television. It required an active imagination, and it cultivated it in turn.Podcasting today has given new life to this vintage auditory art form, with groundbreaking shows such as "The NoSleep Podcast", "Limetown" and "The Black Tapes" being modern versions of classic radio drama. With this podcast, 3 of my great loves have come together into some kind of mutated concoction of sound. My hope is to see more Fallout fans getting creative, sharing their passion and building on this amazing universe.PART OF THE ROBOTS RADIO NETWORKhttps://www.robotsradio.net/ Get bonus content on Patreon Hosted on Acast. For decades, in rural Western Pennsylvania, the government has been capturing, containing and storing dangerous Cryptids in huge underground catacombs in a top-secret program known as Project "No Talky Abouty". They also built a town to house the most notorious and strangest criminals from the witness relocation program right over top of those catacombs. That town is called Dunglewood. Now the government's precious secrets are about to be revealed to all as one of their experiments has proven to be too strong and too stupid to be contained. Mostly too stupid. Sean and Joey love sports, but they realize there are a lot of dumb elements within our favorite games. And each week, they'll break down one of those dumb things in this tidy, bite-sized podcast. Drop by to hear Sean lament over the stupidity of a certain aspect in sports—basketball, football, baseball, hockey, golf, tennis, volleyball, lacrosse—nothing is off-limits. If there's something dumb to talk about, you better believe we'll hit it. We're also covering some pointless tweets, overused sports cliches, and general news that...well, doesn't need to be news. And we love to hear from you! Give Sean or Joey (or both) a shout with your favorite dumb things. | -- | |||||
