Doctors talk about what Hollywood gets right and wrong about medicine and how the body works. Each week we discuss how a film or episode of television depicts illnesses, injuries, and the lives of medical professionals. As we wrap up each episode, the film or show being discussed is graded for its medical accuracy in comparison to 2010’s The Human Centipede, which marketed itself as “100% medically accurate.” Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, for example, is considered “140% medically accurate” when compared to The Human Centipede. Luc Besson’s Lucy, meanwhile, was awarded a 10%. Midsommar earned our highest rank yet, at 400% - which means it's roughly four times more medically accurate than The Human Centipede.New episodes Thursdays!

How to heal yourself by looking at the things no one (including you) really wants you to see. We discuss female cycle syncing, hormonal nutrition, functional medicine, Ayurveda, Taoist Healing Love, Reiki, Ovarian Kung Fu, spirituality, sexuality & mental health as well as the inconvenient truths of our modern health care system that keep these modalities hidden & falsely marketed so we’re left wondering why the hell no one knows about this. My name is Meredith Ochoa and I’m another f*#%ing artist, with a mission. My mission is to show others how to face their pain and see themselves for who they really are. I developed this mission from facing my own debilitating pain every month dealing with Endometriosis for over 17 years. After surgery, crossing over to the other side, and dying from the excruciating pain one too many times, I began to unravel all of the medical lies I had been told and educated myself on how women’s hormone’s actually work and I healed myself. I remember the first day I felt freedom, I could feel the shackles literally just fall off as I got present to the fact that I had minimal to no pain in my life with my intimacy, sex, and every month with my cycle. What I learned through my experience is that all healing starts with being authentic (men AND women), which is why I encourage others to face all of their shit. And of course, I made (and continue to make) an ongoing art series about it! Every Phase–colorfully illustrating the phases of the female cycle infradian rhythm clock.Even though I was lied to for years by countless doctors promoting big pharma, I was able to find experts who helped me achieve what I thought was impossible. I'm using this space to introduce some of them as well as these practices to you.

Mysterious Matters is an award winning Podcast, leading the cutting edge of discussions in both the Paranormal Podcast, and Alternative Topics, genre. It has been said that Bob has improved upon the interviewing style of his mentor, Art Bell (of Coast to Coast AM fame), by allowing each guest to fully answer, meander a bit, and reel them back in with intelligent questions or discussion topics. The show originates from Bob’s home studio in Nashville, Tn. Micah Hanks appeared on Coast to Coast AM Radio, and mentioned that Bob Bain was the best new voice in the Paranormal Radio field right now. Mysterious Matters is often ranked with popular podcasts like the Joe Rogan Experience, and WTF Podcast, for its mixture of interesting topics, guests, and Bob’s humor. More than a Paranormal Podcast, but not boring like traditional interviews. We embrace everyday life with intriguing conversations with scientists, actors, authors and others with an interesting story (or information) to share.Other talk radio mentors have included Ian Punnett (Coast to Coast AM) and Teddy Bart (Beyond Reason). Out of them all, Teddy Bart was the seasoned interviewer with big interviews with names like Ronald Reagan, Muhammad Ali and others.
