Dr. Bekeh Ukelina is an Associate Professor of History and the Director of the Center for Gender and Intercultural Studies at the State University of New York, Cortland. His research focuses on African history, colonialism, gender studies, and social justice. He has published extensively on the impacts of colonial rule, education, and development in Africa. Through his leadership at the Center for Gender and Intercultural Studies, he advances scholarship and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
