Kevin Durant is an American professional basketball player, born on September 29, 1988, in Washington, D.C. Durant was the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, later playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has won two NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors and earned two NBA Finals MVP awards. Durant is also a four-time NBA scoring champion and an Olympic gold medalist. He has also played for the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns.
