Regé-Jean Page is a British actor. He is known for playing Chicken George in the 2016 miniseries Roots, and was a regular cast member on the ABC legal drama For the People from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, Page starred in season one of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton as Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings for which he won the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series NAACP Image Award and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.In February 2021, Page was recognised in Time magazine's 100 Next list under the category of Phenoms with a profile written by Shonda Rhimes.
