Tony is an educator & co-director of PodcastFellows.org at Stony Brook University, NY—the world's first-ever, dual-semester academic podcasting program. He mentors and trains aspiring podcasters to bring their sound-rich stories to life. A podcast strategist/consultant as well as a producer/editor since 2004, he created & launched podcasting at Bloomberg News; edited the Peabody Award-winning audio doc about Leonard Bernstein; and he was a producer at Sirius and at Sony In-Flight Audio. Tony taught audio journalism for several years at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and was also a news director and morning host/producer for an NPR station. He is an alum of the Berklee College of Music.
