When you have something to do it's ok if we help one another advance toward their dreams. You don't have to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". I don't know where that nonsense came from. Sounds like something Ronald Reagan would throw up. If we have to help you to your feet so you can stand and take care of your business then why not help you. Understand, ALL successful people had help to get wherever they are. That could be  the 3rd shift manager at Wendy's or the President of Apple. Somebody helped them along the way. The "Creator"  the "Master Blaster" used someone to bless us to be at the cleaners the same time your opportunity was there, to make sure that money you were hoping would show up appears at the very last possible moment from a source you had never thought of. Are we so proud and uppity that when we have the opportunity to position ourselves legally, lawfully and morally that we will let ourselves and our children's legacy be suffocated because we don't want somebody to think less of you because someone helped you out with some cash. That tells me that your donor believes in you enough to back it up with his money. That's the kind of vote of confidence that speaks volumes about you If someone helped you raise $3,500.00 to help your son's or daughter's team travel out of town would you be willing to donate $600.00 (YOU DON"T HAVE TO!) to the projects of the persons who helped you raise $3,500.00? If not, so what, It's your money but I wouldn't expect anyone to help you anymore or donate to your effort. Asia calls it "Hui". West Africa & the Caribbean call it "Susu".
