This is such a raw and powerful podcast about the story of Larry Nassar's survivors, and the injustice of the girls that weren't believed. "Little girls don't stay little forever. They grow into strong women that return to destroy your world."
Extremely powerful and important. It gave the survivors a voice and a control over the narrative. However, it was really hard to listen to the abuse described and how long/often it occured.
It's hard to hear how much it takes for a girl/woman to be taken serious about abuse. The podcast was fascinating for me cause I didn't know much about this case, I've listened to it all in one day.
Believed tells a story so rarely seen in media - the survivors' voices. The podcast is so well-made that I binged the whole show in one day, cried during the finale, and felt myself wishing there was more afterward. A must-listen.
