Currently, he Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University.Gershon's first book, "The Second Brain: A Groundbreaking New Understanding of Nervous Disorders of the Stomach and Intestine," was published in 1998.Gershon received his B.A. and his M.D. from Cornell University.
