me it was something that

I always felt but didn't fully understand

until 2015. You

know, it's like when I really started looking

at my whole life through

this lens of like, almost like

uncertainty, and what am

I even doing, and where am

I even going, who am I, what

are the things that I even want to become, what

do I even know about myself, like

when you hear me say it like that, we

talk a lot about how in 2015 I

was on a journey to discover everything

about myself, and

really what type of life did I want,

and then creating an entire vision

for my whole life and business, and how

did everything integrate together, that

was forced out of this idea

that, you know, I was just felt

so lost,

right? And when you hear me say

that, it's like, well, you were searching for

purpose, you needed clarity, you

know,

You needed a deeper understanding

and ultimately belief in like where you

were headed. That's why I've kind of landed

on like these core

sort of known things that you know you need

in life, purpose, clarity, belief,

and knowledge, but they're actually

connected to your energy

in such a major way. Back

in 2015, when then I began

to look at my life as a whole and began

to design it through that lens

like, okay, what gives me

2:32

energy? What about my life design

2:35

draws energy from me? Okay, well I'm

a business guy, but I don't understand the financial

2:40

side of business like, oh, that

2:42

would really pull energy out of me, but creative

2:45

side, building and creating companies,

2:47

oh, that drives up that energy at a really

2:50

high level. Getting

2:52

super focused on knowing why I was

2:54

doing a single project and getting

2:56

clear on how to execute it, man,

2:59

super high energy when I would like

just start something and not know exactly

3:03

where it was heading, like man, that's that

3:05

high and low would pull me out of it.

Then some days I thought everything that I was doing

was working and believed in it. Some days

3:13

it felt like none of it made sense and I didn't

3:16

believe, I wasn't even sure if it was ever going

3:18

to be a reality and boom, suck

3:20

the life right out of me. In

3:23

this sort of

3:25

process that I went through, I began

to see my life through the lens of energy

and through sort of those core pillars

that are big forces in energy

on a day-to-day basis as

it relates to who you are and

what you want to become. Then designing

your life around energy is

what changed my life forever. When

I finally looked at every day, every

week, every month, every year through the

lens of what am I doing

and how does it make me feel, like

what type of energy?

Do I feel with that person? What

type of energy do I feel in

that activity that that began?

The journey of really beginning

to build the life that I live today

and it is the reason I Spend

most every single day going from

thing to thing to thing That gives

me energy and that gives me a higher

quality energy and when something Occurs

that brings that energy down then

I I make the adjustment To

avoid that happening in the future right

and you know

When you think about each of those

that's you know purpose clarity belief

and knowledge Let's think about

knowledge. You know like when you really

understand Something and

really know what it is and know how to do

it know how to use it boy that that's

easy for you It's something you enjoy

it draws that energy up. It's much

higher versus when you don't understand

something at all

It takes all this effort

and and it makes you you know dare

I say feel dumb

feel dumb and when you feel dumb guess what

that energy level whoo low quality

and And that's the power

of knowledge. It's beyond just

like you know Understanding

exactly what you're doing, but it has a

direct correlation To

how you actually feel about what you're

doing and the more you understand

something The easier it is for you

to do the higher level of energy

that it's going to create and it's it's

so often You know that we

don't

even account The way that

we feel based off of how well we know

something and how it's actually

affecting our energy Based

off of the knowledge and understanding that that

we actually have about it and to me it was

you know I think when you think about

working out and You

know when you first go to work out like it's

like you don't even know what you're doing You're not even sure what to do

you like this is even working like

Somebody's got to help you. You got to learn from a friend.

Like you just kind of trial and error. Like

you don't even know what it is. It's like

working out in the beginning is not, does

not all of a sudden give you fulfillment

and energy and make you feel like you're

making progress to a healthier version. It's

just the struggle. And then when you

think about doing it, you don't get excited

and like, man, I can't wait to do that. Like

in, and believe in its long-term effect.

You're like, you're just trying to force yourself to

get to the gym.

And until you

really learn a workout that

works for you, and now you get there and know exactly

what you're going to do, and you're going to stretch first and

then do weights first, and then do cardio, whatever

your rhythm is now that you've created.

And now you've learned and completely

understood what it means to create

a workout that you understand.

And now you can enjoy it. Now,

now you, you know, it may not

be your favorite thing, but it's no longer

pulling energy from you because

you know exactly what you're going to do when

you get

there and that you're

now compounding your health in a

way that's helping all aspects

of your life. But it took

you the process to eventually learn

that in the first place. When

I think about clarity,

how important clarity is. Think about

how important clarity is. You

know the word clarity. You

know how essential the word clarity

is. The clearer you are

about something, the

more intent you can put behind it, the

more you know where

you are going and why you are going there,

it is so much easier

to push towards that clarity.

You know, I like to say that I, you

know, like relentlessly seek clarity

in all aspects of my life because

clarity itself gives you this extraordinary

energy. When you can look out into the future and

it's clear exactly where you want to go

want to do, like, man,

that energizes you in the

realest way. And that drives that energy

up to a much higher level versus

vagueness. Man,

when you don't know and you're unsure

of like, you know, what you want

to do in the future or where you're going, man,

it's literally dead energy,

because you can't even like get motivated

from it. You can't find

any momentum

to try to push towards anything because

you're unsure of where you

want to go. And to me, it's

like that is where you are just in the sluggish,

low energy, when you're kind

of pushing forward into the future, but you're

not clear on where you're

going, you know, and people

underestimate,

you know, how,

you know, important clarity is

from an energy standpoint. Nobody

ever thinks about the idea of, you

know, the clearer you are, the higher energy

you're going to feel about

what you're doing and why you're doing it, you know,

it's, it's that's this incredibly

important thing. But everybody

knows when they don't know what they're doing

or where they're going, or not clear on what the future

holds, that I don't even even

when I say it to you, you feel that energy

like, oh, it goes low, you

know, versus like, man, I know exactly

the plan that I have for the next five

years and everything that I want to do over

the next couple years to get to there. It's

like, you know, it's like

I almost am turning into what

I'd like to consider like a clarity Sherpa.

Like I will speak to different

friends and try to like, hear

out sort of everything that they're working on

to push through the clutter so that I

can define for them exactly

the three things that they need

9:51

to do and focus on in

9:53

order to achieve the

9:56

life that they want or you know, the vision

in their business.

that with a lot of friends. And it's really exciting

for me, because like, it's like

this great unlock. And when you get that absolute

clear pinpoint direction

for somebody to go, then their energy is

through the roof. And they already feel

like, okay, I'm ready to go. Let's go do

it versus

the beginning of that conversation

where they're, oh, I might do this. I could do

this. Oh, I might do this. Like that

is low energy and even hard

for me in the beginning of those conversations

of even trying to help guide somebody

to clarity, because I feel scattered the

way that they even share sort

10:38

of where they're at, you know? And then by the end

of that conversation, when we both are like,

I'm fired up as if I'm about to go and build

the company for them, just because I locked

10:47

in on like, here are the three things you got to focus.

I'm like, man, this is really, this is really going to

happen for these guys. And then they're like, yeah, let's

10:54

go. I can't say that they

10:56

always leave those clarity sherpa sessions

and they end up, you know, executing,

you know, a lot of times I sell the vision, I

make the vision clear, and then it slowly

11:05

fades for them by the time they get to execution

time. But again, it's

how important clarity

can just be as a whole,

you know, and driving up energy.

And

in the next one is belief,

man, think about like how important

belief is to you energetically,

you know, when you really believe

something's going to happen, like,

man, you

feel this different level of

energy, you're more motivated, you're ready to

push it on, you can work all

day on the much more harder

different aspects of whatever you're hoping

to achieve. If you continue to believe

that you're making the progress, and

it's going to happen versus like, man, when

that doubt sets in,

you know, when that doubt sets in, if you doubt,

imagine, imagine, you know,

Imagine this,

if you are working on a project and

you absolutely believe in

the plan that you've created and the strategy

that you've created, and then you're making progress

towards realizing

the plan and the strategy, man, that

belief is rich, the energy is

high. That is high quality

energy all the time you put

12:21

into working on that versus

12:24

creating a vague plan that

12:26

you're not even sure what you're exactly working on

each day. It's not entirely clear. And

then now you're sitting there doubting

even what you've created. Then you're

12:36

not making progress, but now you're just sitting

there in this like low energy

12:40

sludge.

That is what happens when you

12:44

don't put the time in to understand

12:47

and build a strategy or a plan that you

12:49

believe in and then continue to build belief,

but you allow it to be unclear

12:56

and sit in this place where you begin

to doubt, man. When you begin to doubt,

the mind begins to wonder, dwell

into the past, the mistakes you made, worry

about in the future. And then that

13:07

energy is low. It's

13:08

just low. And

13:12

that is the cornerstone

of anything that you

are ever, ever going to do. You

have to believe it. You have to believe

it and you have to be in a continual state of

13:25

reinforcing that belief that you're going to

13:27

actually do it. And when you do, then

you're living in that energetic state versus

13:34

like being unclear and then getting to the

13:36

point where it no longer makes that, man, now you're

13:38

living in doubt, man. You already know it.

You can feel

13:43

it when I say it. I can feel it when I

13:45

say it on the things that

13:47

I really believe are

13:49

going to happen and become a reality.

There's so much energy. And when I say

it versus when there's

13:57

things that I'm unsure of or

13:59

you are not

13:59

sure are going to happen, but you keep

working on them. It's

low, low quality energy,

you know, like, and that is

just again, an example

of just, you know, how they sit

on both sides and and

how if you can focus on

on combining each

of these as it relates to, you know,

getting clear and having

14:29

a deep understanding and then creating

the right strategy that continues to build

belief in in what

14:36

you're doing. These all begin

to work together to create

14:41

that

14:42

higher quality of energy, right?

Because keep in mind, the higher the energy, and

the more consistent, the happier you

14:49

are.

That's just the reality of of

how important energy is as a

14:55

whole, you know, and, and then when

you look at the big, big, big

dog, it is purpose. You

know, it is it is purpose, like,

why are you doing

it? You know, how is it

leading to your, you

know, bigger vision for what you're hoping

to accomplish? Because when you are doing something

with complete and total purpose, that's

where where the energy is

at the highest versus when you're

doing things are meaningless to

what you're hoping to accomplish as a whole.

Man, that energy is really low.

Because it's just like when it's purpose driven,

man, you you know exactly

why you're doing it, it serves the

the greater mission of leading

you to a better version of your life or

a more evolved version of your life versus

doing things that

are meaningless both to you and to

15:55

your overall vision of of what

you want to become suck just low

low. energy. And so when

you think about the more if you do more things

in life that are that

are behind your purpose and defining

your purpose and why you're doing everything

in driving that energy up and

reduce the amount of things that

end up being meaningless

that are just much lower energy

you can see by by those alone

like what those two

do when I say them you know you can just

hear the energy in the way

that I say them and again

when you start thinking about how all

of these

like connect together and all

of these have meaning together you can

begin to see how my life really

really changed in 2015 when I decided like

my purpose was going to be I'm going

to you know not continually

try to chase the next big

idea that was going to be the one that made

me happy like my true purpose

is I'm going to the create

a life in in

a life and business design into

one and build a what is harmony

to me and then get better and better

at living a harmonious balanced life

like living a high-quality

balanced life became

my purpose

right then then I had to you

know seek the clarity on like okay

what is that well I know

17:34

that like I want to spend

this much time on my health I want to spend

this much time with my wife and

friends and this is the time I'd

like to work okay now you

have clarity on how you're going to spend all of

your time then you decided

like okay I'm going to create a business

that creates businesses and

17:55

I'm going to create a system because

I understand that I don't want to operate all the time

of them. I really enjoyed the creative

process. It reframed

my purpose for TV in my life. Now

look at TV as this backbone

of financing the future vision

for your life and use that

18:14

capital to now go into this clear

18:16

vision that you have for creating companies.

And then in order to do

that, it was so clear to me all the things

that I needed to learn. I needed to learn

about the financial side of business. I

needed

18:29

to learn the operational side. I

18:32

understood the brand and marketing side. I

had to develop

all of that knowledge because those were my

blind spots if I wanted to

achieve the vision

that I had and the clarity that I had of

building and selling companies all

18:47

the way through. And as

I did it,

as I began to do it, then

I began to build the belief that

it was possible

with the plan and the strategy and putting

all of that together. I'm like, wow, this is

really it. But as I

really began to grow into

it and have the defined purpose

and have the clear future

outcome and then develop the strategy

and then create

all the knowledge and learn everything that I

needed to actually become that,

man, all of those things

form together. And then boom,

man, that is became

the foundation for

this high quality energy

life that I got better and better

at living and then assessed everything

as it began to grow. And I began to evolve

and learn more of like making the adjustments

based off of how many things are

in your life that are

creating low quality energy versus

19:50

the things that are driving that

19:52

high

19:53

quality energy and just optimized

the whole overtime to

get myself to there.

You know, I just say, you

know, to everybody who's, who's continuously

in this, like, you know, looking at

how do you, uh, get more clear

and find your purpose and build belief and

understand more about what you're

doing and where you're hoping to go, you got to look

at it through the lens of

energy. Like if you're,

if you don't have your purpose well thought

out and you're going to have a much

lower energy and keep thinking about it

until that energy pops, you know, keep

working on what

you want the future to become until

you feel the energy and that clarity and,

and, and knowing where you want to go.

Keep working on your

plan and your strategy until

you create the belief

within you and, and continuously,

um, keep learning

the things that you need to learn

about yourself and your world until

20:55

you feel that that higher

energy, um, is

going to be what combines

together, uh,

to take you to the level

that you want to reach and get to that state

of perpetually optimizing into

your limitless potential. Cause that is

what you were all capable of. Uh,

cause if I did it, I know all you can

do it and you, and you know what it is. You got to

just keep looking into that future.
