Professor Thomas McDade is a professor of Biological Anthropology. He’s also a faculty fellow at the institute for policy research, and director of the laboratory for human biology research. With a group of collaborators, he created a Covid-19 at home test kit that uses dried blood on filter paper from a finger prick. This kit is then shipped from the user's home to the lab to determine if the person has had exposure to the Sars-CoV-2 virus.
