Rather than an overview of a crime, this podcast focuses in on a particular person or topic related to a crime and always finds interesting stories. It has easily become one of my favourite podcasts.
Incredible stories. Not for the faint of heart—this is seriously disturbing stuff. Think psychological horror thriller.
The premise sounds sensationalist, but when you actually listen to the episodes you find that the topics and people are dealt with not just thoroughly, but also thoughtfully and respectfully. The stories always take you somewhere interesting, from direct crimes with graphic details to interviews with people who work in crime, like witness-protection-program employees and courtroom sketch artists. Always a fascinating listen.
I love Phoebe's voice and the stories she shares. I attended one of her live events a couple years ago and was just so impressed. I highly suggest this podcast!
This podcast has kept me sane in rush hour traffic. Always fascinating. My favorite episode is the one about the Buddha!
Easily one of my favourite podcasts. Almost always some fascinating story, with a tremendous diversity in topics and timespan.
A very quirky take on true crime! Each story has its own charm and mystery. Buckle up your seat belt as many of the stories are not quite what you expect, prepare for twists and turns and tales that leave a smile on your face. Brilliant podcast.
One the shows that made me fall in love with podcasts.
Great stories that almost always have an extremely interesting turn in subject
A great look at crimes and their history. Phoebe is a wonderful story teller who delivers each episode in a familiar way that I have grown to love.
Criminal has been one of my favourites since I started listening to podcasts. It only had a handfull of episodes back then, and they still have varied, high quality, moving, funny, interesting and surprising stories. They tell stories and sides of crime that are not told by others.
Short stories about crimes and criminals. Some of the episodes are too superficial an overview of what is too complex a topic to be covered in what is 15-20 minutes of actual content, but there are some really great episodes as well along with a couple multi-parters. Phoebe is a good host and pleasant to listen to.
This is a lovely podcast about the implications and consequences of crime. So, you won't often hear gory details about a serial murderer, but you will be perplexed with more complex stories that involve crime. Highly recommended.
If True Crime interest you, but you usually find it poorly investigated and poorly reported, THIS is the podcast for you. With none of the Reality Television overdramatic acting or boring made for Lifetime Television tropes, Criminal focuses on more emotional, story driven, and intellectual or philosophical aspects of cases. This is not to say boring in any way. The episodes are fascinating and compelling, but they require you to think and engage with the material, not just consume it. Kind of exactly what you would expect of a Crime Program presented by NPR. Brainy but great!
I absolutely love this podcast!
This app definitely helps to keep tabs on love ones and family members but the work of such tracking apps is usually limited because you always need to access the device you want to keep tabs on in order for the tracking app to work effectively. My question is if i can access the device i want to hack, why would I need it hacked ? But i understand we hack devices due to different intentions and to recover some information that must have been deleted or kept from being easily seen, the device will be required to be cloned.Being unfaithful gives rise to a whole lot of issues and situations that might be very difficult to cope with if you don't have an account of what is really going down with your partner when you are not together. If you keep getting these signs it's most likely to be true your partner is cheating. That's not the end of life anyway, you can make a choice that suits you and be to your advantage for something like that to never repeat itself. For anvone that find themselves in this situation, what you need is to contact a private ethical investigator named Greg at { REMOTEPUNDIT via Gmailcom} to find out what has been going on behind your back, and fix it as quick as you can.His services are highly rated and affordable, regardless whether your problem is personal or beyond personal, I am certain that whatever you are passing through will be fixed in a jiffy. I am a huge testimony to his exploits and I highly endorse that you write to him.REMOTEPUNDIT (at) G m ail, c0m
Oh, Phoebe Judge, I honestly think you have the best voice ever *bold font*recorded. This series is an absolute gem. Defies the true crime stereotypes. It truly is a "first of its kind" but also a one of a kind. Criminal is sub-genre onto itself. The spectrum of wrong.
I have listened to this pod cast for years, I love the format the show is presented in and find Phoebe's voice to be soothing and calm. The cases presented are always interesting. I am a former Police Officer in Australia and it is interesting to hear how some things are done in America and how backwards it seems to me. I have recommended this pod cast to a few people now.
Fascinating and so well done. You won't stop listening until the last jiucy details has been revealed.
