A radio station on a deep space colony ship transmits short, daily “micro-casts” about the everyday goings-on of its crew, from the mundane (upkeeping goat livestock) to the uncanny (powerful, malignant tech viruses). The 1-3 minute long micro-casts seamlessly transition to sound like a continuous episode. While the radio station host has the confident, lively voice of an airplane pilot, lending credibility. I enjoyed the range of tidbit stories that first seem disconnected but that build a narrative into broad seasons, each given a unifying name (“The Artifact,” “Cyber Child”) and a part number.
