NOT a BDSM podcast. Well, at least 90 ish percent of the time anyway
I cannot fully convey how absolutely chaotic this podcast is. Like, in a good way, but my word.
Absolutely one of the greatest D&D shows that exists. Changing the game on how to have fun with friends. I'm so glad I get to be apart of this adventure.
I am proud to say I have listened to this podcast since episode ten came out. If you want a semi-D&D podcast that lures you in with a promise of laughs and keeps you around with a promise of emotional moments, this is the podcast for you. Not only do they have the best DM and players I have ever seen, but they also have a unique world made from the bare bones of the Forgotten Realms, a story that is equal parts chaotic and sequential, characters that you will love and hate, and more hilarious content on their Patreon. It's an adventure like no other, and you would do well to stick around for the ride.
I'm on ep 50 atm and have loved every episode.
I tried to listen to this at work. I couldn't, I was laughing too hard, so now it's just my commute, and I laugh the whole way to and from work. The humor, Anthony's DM style, and the absolute whacky shenanigans is amazing.
If you want a podcast that draws you in, makes you laugh, makes you cry, and causes you to look upon yourself and reflect on your life as a child or parent, then buckle up. This crew is incredible. The chemistry is amazing and you feel like you are part of it. Such a fun story that will bring you to tears in laughing and crying. One of the best DnD pods out there.
I started listening to Dungeons and Daddies last month and have been bingeing it as much as possible. It's absolutely hilarious with great character work, and I really enjoy how there are these moments of gravity and real emotion mixed in to all the "rowdy, horny, violent" comedy. And I love the bonus "Talking Dad" podcast that Patreon subscribers get access to!
Netflixed and chilled with the Father's Day Special and my partner came in the of Beth May saying, "Hi I'm Beth May. I play Ron Stampler." And then we went on to laugh incredibly hard as Will ruined all of the DM's plans. Next day we listened to most recent episode and both got teary eyed because of its heartfelt portrayal of abuse and trauma. This is my favorite real play podcast. It combines incredible improv with a masterful Dungeon Master. By now, they truly understand their characters and each other as players. Every episode comes with gut busting laughter and, increasingly, genuine scenes of emotional depth. Definitely definitely listen and subscribe to the Patreon.
This is the only D&D podcast I can listen to, and I have tried many. Masterfully balances stupid humor, heart-wrenching consequences, character growth, smart humor, horror, world-building, and occasionally remembering to play D&D. I think it works so well because every performer and guest is always putting character and story first.
This podcast got me into podcasts
This podcast is excellent. Just the right amount of D&D, “not BDSM” but actually some BDSM, and creative characters that will keep you laughing but engaged. I have just one complaint; Darryl Wilson (played by Matt Arnold) is the most intolerable, hypocritical, backassward character of any podcast I’ve ever listened to. Not only does he constantly ignore the input of every character (including the other players), he imposes his will on everyone despite being morally bankrupt whenever it suits his agenda, and he is condescending to the most liked characters on the show. His character is trash and contributes nothing but confusion and conflict to an excellent adventure. Absolute trash. I made this account just so I could leave this review. The show is awesome otherwise.
Great dnd with a unique twist
Great stories, fun characters and cast. Awesome moments that'll leave you wanting more.
My favourite podcast that I can't stop listening to. Everyone involved is so funny, and they all share a fantastic understanding of world and story building. No one has an offensive amount of main character syndrome - players are happy to share the spotlight with each other, so every character ends up being very well rounded and established.
Possibly the funniest podcast I've ever listened to.
One of funniest and heartfelt podcasts out there of any type made even more impressive by the improv nature of D&D. The best of the lot by far.
the podcast that got me into actual plays, i love it sm.
Really enjoying this podcast. Its funny, crude, and uncomfortable in all the right ways.
I laugh, I cry, and then I fell in love!
