going to get to Gavin Gray, a UK -Europe correspondent.

0:02

Gavin, good morning. Good

0:04

morning, Ryan. Now, we will come back

0:06

to Liverpool in a second, but you've

0:08

got news of a counter -terrorism operation by

0:10

police. What's happening here? Yeah,

0:14

it's in Yorkshire in

0:16

the northeast of England and it

0:18

is said that three people have

0:20

been taken to hospital having been

0:22

found injured in Leeds in the

0:24

Headingley area famous of course for

0:26

its cricket and being quite a

0:28

sort of well -to -do area of

0:30

the city of Leeds and of

0:32

those three who have been taken

0:34

to hospital one is the suspected

0:36

attacker and It is said that

0:38

one of them has been seriously

0:40

injured and the attack was with

0:42

a cross But the reason it

0:44

appears that counter -terrorism police are

0:46

investigating this incident is that

0:48

alongside the crossbow, they also found

0:51

a firearm recovered at the

0:53

scene. And the 38 -year -old suspect,

0:55

it said, has suffered a

0:57

self -inflicted injury. Now, as

0:59

I said, we have few details about

1:01

the two victims. One is now

1:03

thought to be out of hospital. The

1:05

other is still in hospital. And

1:07

this happened along something very, very popular

1:09

called the Ottley Run pub crawl

1:12

room. It's often very, very popular with

1:14

students who go on a run, stopping

1:16

off at a number of different

1:18

pubs, often about half a dozen different

1:20

pubs on the way, and often

1:22

for sponsorship. So obviously the police investigate

1:24

in the motive and indeed questioning

1:26

the suspected attacker. Gavin, Marks and Spencer,

1:28

they had that cyber attack last

1:30

weekend, but they're still struggling to sort

1:32

of get to grips with it. Yeah,

1:35

very much so Ryan. So Mark

1:37

Spenser, the absolute sort of the

1:39

stalwart of the high street in

1:42

the UK selling food and clothing.

1:44

It shares fell dramatically by 5%.

1:46

They have picked up a little

1:48

bit after it was announced they'd

1:50

been subjected to a cyber incident

1:52

and it really is struggling a

1:54

week on to get back to

1:56

normal. Indeed, it is now saying

1:58

that it has had to cancel its

2:00

click and collect with struggling as

2:02

well with people using contactless payments

2:04

as well as those paying with

2:06

gift cards that things have pretty

2:09

much got back a lot of

2:11

the way, but I'm afraid since

2:13

it's suspended online ordering, Marks and

2:15

Spencer's has been responding to social

2:17

media posts advising customers that these

2:19

problems still persist. The

2:21

share market has gone down 5 %

2:23

following this, as I said, but they

2:25

have picked up a bit. No news

2:27

on what that cyber attack actually is

2:29

or what it entailed. It's not the first

2:31

of the big high street giants to

2:34

fall foul of this. Morrison's,

2:36

another one just before Christmas. serious

2:38

IT problems at Barclays Bank

2:40

as well and then in February

2:42

several banks and notably Lloyds

2:44

Banking facing outages leaving businesses unable

2:46

to pay staff all because

2:48

of cyber attacks and certainly a

2:50

great problem for big businesses

2:52

here plus the fact they may

2:55

even be fined by the

2:57

regulator for data and

2:59

keeping data if it was deemed that

3:01

they have not been holding it securely. Gavin, are

3:03

you a Liverpool man? I'm just looking at

3:05

a live feed from Sky News and it's a

3:07

sea of red. They are

3:09

very excited to be winning the Premier League. I'm

3:13

a Tottenham fan, no good for me. Oh, no. Okay,

3:16

I shouldn't have asked you. We'll leave it there. Gavin,

3:18

thank you. Gavin Gray, our

3:20
