Today was a full on, straight up hour and a half about men in relationships. We covered quite a lot today. We began with the expectations of men in relationships, where we find ourselves being naturally chivalrous and wonder what women think. Then we lead onto Men in abusive relationships and the warning signs to look out for. We understand that it’s not widely recognised because men don’t talk about it. Further on in the podcast we cover what it means to change who you are for someone else and is that necessarily a good thing? I try to explain how you can keep the essence of who you are but changing and moulding through stages with your partner. Then Alex has something to say to self-proclaimed ‘Nice Guys’, some tough love from Alex and hopefully a reflection to those who think women should sleep with them for being ‘nice’.
