Michael Duffy (@muckyrobot) is the Programming Department Manager of Game Circus, a mobile games studio in Dallas with a string of chart topping titles including Taps to Riches, Coin Dozer, & Prize Claw. Prior to working at Game Circus, Michael worked as a Technical Director in the computer graphics film industry, contributing to films such as “How To Train Your Dragon”, “Megamind”, and “Madagascar 3” just to name a few.    We go into detail about his role at Game Circus and working well with teams. I think the two biggest takeaways from this episode are his thoughts on using metrics to analyze the success of your game, and his suggested tactics on getting hired at a medium sized game studio. We also cover a whole bunch in-between, including Michael’s background, handling bad user reviews, and more. Please enjoy this conversation with Michael Duffy   Tune in every week for new episodes on game development related topics on marketing, the development process, & tactics for becoming a successful indie gamedev. We have much to learn. _______________________ For show notes and links mentioned in the podcast visit: http://www.gamedevdeconstructed.com Follow GDD on you socials: https://www.facebook.com/gamedevdeconstructed/ https://twitter.com/GDDeconstructed   ** Please rate & subscribe to the podcast **
