Dr. Charles Grob is a psychiatric researcher and teacher. Currently, he is a Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine and the Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center.Grob's research interests include anxiety and mood disorders, and also self-medication and substance abuse. He has studied the psychological and physiological effects of MDMA and the hallucinogen ayahuasca.Grob is the editor of "Hallucinogens: A Reader," published in 2002.
