answers while watching Jeopardy? Do Do you

0:54

Well, actually. Well, guess

0:57

what? You can go fact...

yourself. Hi, hi everyone. Welcome

1:06

to Go Fact Yourself, show where we

1:08

quiz the smartest people we know and

1:10

1:12

love. I'm Helen from the

1:14

and now at Crawford

1:16

at LAist in Pasadena,

1:19

here's our moderator Jay Keith Van

1:21

Stratton. Thank you. goodness. goodness. What a

1:23

wonderful, wonderful crowd. Hello crowd. how are

1:25

you doing? how are you doing? Jay

1:27

Keith, I couldn't help but notice that you

1:29

walked out today with a cane. out today Are

1:31

you Are you to be one of those be one

1:33

movie villains where you like pull it out

1:36

and suddenly it's a sword? like was going

1:38

more for a song and dance number,

1:40

but was going for a I actually dance couple nights

1:42

ago yeah, actually tweaked my back. actually, a

1:44

a little nights ago, I the weather I kind

1:46

of only myself to blame because I

1:48

should realize at my age I kind of is

1:50

just myself to blame because I

1:53

I shouldn't be doing

1:55

any more, you know,

1:57

certain strenuous activities. Like

2:00

what? Well, sleep. what?

2:02

Well, sleep. Yeah. This happened

2:04

to me while I

2:07

slept. Yeah. Yes, maybe you

2:09

were dreaming about a song and dance

2:11

number. That might be it. Yes, even

2:14

in my dreams, I failed to get

2:16

the part. But there's good news, Helen,

2:18

I have a wonderful treatment that I'm

2:21

going to be doing after the show.

2:23

I am taking a red-eyed Chicago in

2:25

economy. Oh, wow. So the next time

2:28

you see me, I may be fully

2:30

bent in two pieces, but it's what

2:32

I do for the people. Yes. I

2:34

need the money. All right, today on

2:37

Go Fact Yourself, two guests will compete

2:39

to answer questions about facts they know,

2:41

facts they may not know, and frankly,

2:44

facts they should know. Plus, we'll meet

2:46

actual experts on two very different topics.

2:48

And finally, we'll declare one of our

2:51

guests the winner of today's show. Let's

2:53

get started and meet today's guests. Helen,

2:55

who is up first. He is a

2:58

former speaker of the California Assembly and

3:00

the 41 Mayor of Los Angeles, who

3:02

is running to be Governor of California.

3:05

It's Antonio Vierogosa! You look wonderful, it's

3:07

wonderful that you joined us here. Of

3:09

course people will know you as the

3:11

mayor, but you also have been on

3:14

the LA City Council in the California

3:16

State Assembly. You actually were politically involved

3:18

from a young age, I read. 15.

3:21

15. Can you tell us more about

3:23

how that happened? Got involved with the

3:25

farm worker boycott in 1968? I was

3:28

involved in the walkouts in my high

3:30

school. I've been involved in my entire

3:32

life. Well, of course, you were the

3:35

41st mayor of Los Angeles. You were

3:37

the city's first Latino mayor since 1872.

3:39

Whoa. What did that, yeah? What kind

3:42

of meaning did that have for you?

3:44

The Times wrote a lot about it,

3:46

and I said, right? an article about

3:49

it and then get over it. I

3:51

wanted to be a mayor for everybody.

3:53

Yeah. I was. Obviously I knew I

3:55

was breaking a glass ceiling and I

3:58

knew why that was important which is

4:00

why I spent so much time on

4:02

our schools because when I became mayor...

4:05

One out of three schools were failing.

4:07

San Fernando Valley was talking about seceding

4:09

from LA Unified and by the time

4:12

we left, went from a 44% graduation

4:14

rate to a 72. I saw what

4:16

a difference an education made for me.

4:19

Now, don't know me accountable for that

4:21

because I'm going to get a zero

4:23

more than likely on this show. What

4:26

was the most fun part about being

4:28

mayor? Because I imagine there were some

4:30

challenging days, but there must have been

4:32

some really good times. I love that

4:35

I could travel the world. Perks, let

4:37

me see. I had a driver and

4:39

security, I guess that was a perk.

4:42

Yeah, when's the last time you had

4:44

to look for parking? Today. Today, okay,

4:46

yeah, that makes fun. Hour and 35

4:49

minutes to get here today. We appreciate

4:51

it very much. Well, you are of

4:53

course running Ford Governor. It's early, but

4:56

how has the campaign been so far

4:58

for you? You know, it just got

5:00

started, it's mostly been... fundraising, but I

5:03

left the city in good fiscal hands

5:05

and I think we need somebody to

5:07

do that in the state. We hope

5:10

that you can bring some of those

5:12

things to our state as well. That's

5:14

great. LA is such a diverse place.

5:16

How's your Korean? It's legit. Did you

5:19

know that? Yes! He just said, he

5:21

just said, hello, like a greeting, like

5:23

a respectful greeting in Korean. What can't

5:26

this man do? Let's see how he

5:28

does at a trivia show. Mayor Antonio

5:30

Villarigosa! By the way, I think you're

5:33

our first guest that I voted for

5:35

twice. So thank you so much for

5:37

being there. Thank you. You'll have an

5:40

opportunity three times. Okay. Helen against whom

5:42

will Antonio be competing? She is an

5:44

Oscar nominated and Emmy-winning actor, Grammy-nominated singer,

5:47

and New York Times best-selling author whose

5:49

career spans seven fabulous decades. It's Anne

5:51

Margaret! first

6:00

standing ovation for a

6:02

guest on our show.

6:04

Well deserved! Well

6:06

and Margaret my goodness as an

6:08

actor some of your recent TV

6:11

includes appearances in Ray Donovan third

6:13

watch and the Kaminsky method You've

6:15

been in over 55 movies including

6:17

classics like by by Bertie Viva

6:19

Las Vegas going in style grumpy

6:21

old men and carnal knowledge and

6:23

Tommy The last two of which

6:26

led to Oscar nominations you also

6:28

have five Golden Globes had three

6:30

singles on the Billboard hot 100

6:32

and a star on the Hollywood

6:34

Walk of Fame Do you have

6:36

a favorite accomplishment? I think my

6:38

favorite accomplishment is the 50-year marriage

6:41

I had with Roger. That's lovely.

6:43

In Hollywood, that's not very common,

6:45

is it? And you're still beaming

6:47

about it. I sure am. One

6:49

of the things that people think

6:51

of when they think of Ann

6:53

Margaret is all that you've done

6:55

for veterans. People remember a lot

6:58

of the USO tours that you

7:00

did abroad, sure. And

7:02

I was surprised to read that

7:04

actually started before you were famous.

7:06

You were still in college when

7:08

you went out seeing the world

7:10

and seeing our troops? Yes, I

7:12

just always have had a feeling

7:14

about veterans. You're still being an

7:16

activist for veterans now because I

7:18

heard you have this perfume line

7:20

that all the proceeds go to

7:22

a veterans organization. The Vietnam vets.

7:24

Very cool. Yeah, the men and

7:26

women, yes. And the perfume is

7:28

called? Anne Margaret. That tracks. Well,

7:31

I hope this is an uncomfortable question, but I do

7:33

feel compelled to ask. When people think of the term

7:36

sex symbol or even sex kitten, they do tend to

7:38

think of Ann Margaret. And I was wondering, yes, why

7:40

not? And I'm wondering, how did you feel about those

7:42

terms? And where were you being called that? I'm flattered.

7:44

I think I would be, too. Yeah. Seriously. No one

7:47

has ever called either one of us a sex kitten.

7:49

I don't think. in your work. work. For

7:51

instance, what was it like

7:53

going from playing a version

7:56

of yourself on the Flintstones

7:58

on shooting a movie like

8:00

Carnal Knowledge? a movie it's so

8:02

different. Knowledge? Oh, it's so different. There's so many

8:04

so many parts of me.

8:07

That must be very satisfying

8:09

then to be able to

8:11

show that. And very confusing. And

8:13

very confusing. Is it confusing? Well, one of the

8:16

one of the films that

8:18

you shot that I would

8:20

imagine would be confusing be confusing

8:22

for which you were nominated

8:24

for an Academy Award. for an

8:27

you. There's a scene a scene in

8:29

that your is romping in

8:31

a of of baked beans that

8:33

are shooting out at you.

8:35

was that was that day of shooting like for

8:37

you, if you remember? you just

8:40

had on this had on

8:42

this this knit and outfit and

8:44

nylons, you know, but everyone you

8:46

know, but everyone else was plummeting

8:48

baked like plummeting baked beans

8:50

at you like everyone is like

8:52

covered in rain gear and

8:55

you're like like... that's when

8:57

you realize that maybe actors aren't the

8:59

highest wrong in show business highest wrong in the

9:01

was very interesting, It was very

9:03

informative. Very sure

9:05

yeah, I'm sure. actually read though you had you

9:07

got a scar that you still had

9:10

from you shooting from that Tommy. with a bottle? right,

9:12

something you're showing us your left hand there

9:14

I didn't know what was happening.

9:16

There were soap suds everywhere. happening.

9:18

There were soap of a sudden, everywhere.

9:21

through the soap suds was through the

9:23

blood. was my blood. I knew knew something

9:25

was wrong. I didn't know Tommy was

9:27

a horror movie. a horror movie. I don't don't mean to put

9:29

you on the spot, but I kind of do want

9:31

to put you on the spot. You have such

9:33

a lovely singing voice. you Do you have a favorite

9:35

song that comes to mind you might be lovely to

9:37

give us a couple bars of? have know. I

9:39

think I could even hear you

9:41

just mind a little lamb and

9:44

I'd be like, to give us a couple

9:46

had a little lamb, I think I

9:48

lamb, you little lamb. Oh had a

9:50

little lamb. lamb. When a

9:52

little a little lamb.

9:54

Of these was white and

9:57

snow. Oh my

9:59

god! with the

10:01

mayor, like what universe am I

10:03

in? Look for it on Spotify,

10:05

what an honor to have you

10:07

here, Anne Margaret everybody. Thank you.

10:09

Thank you. All right, Anne Margaret,

10:11

Anne Antonio, we asked each of

10:13

you to provide us with a

10:15

few topics outside your field of

10:18

work that you know and love.

10:20

And Tonyo, for you, you said

10:22

that was mass transportation in Los

10:24

Angeles. Los Angeles. I'm sensing a

10:26

theme. Yes. Whereas Ann Margaret you

10:28

said that you know a lot

10:30

about the Raiders football team from

10:32

the 1980s to the present, some

10:34

of which was in Los Angeles,

10:36

the TV show Law and Order

10:38

SVU, and musicals from the 1960s

10:41

and 70s. Later on, we're going

10:43

to ask each of you some

10:45

in-depth trivia questions about one of

10:47

those topics. But first, we're going

10:49

to get your thoughts on something

10:51

you might know nothing about. It

10:53

is time to split some hairs

10:55

with our What's the difference round.

10:57

We'll have one question for each

10:59

of you, each worth up to

11:01

two points. If either of you

11:04

is an incorrect or incomplete answer,

11:06

the other person has a chance

11:08

to steal. Your topic today is

11:10

forecast. First up in today's forecast

11:12

is Antonio, Antonio, your question comes

11:14

from a listener who is... Hello,

11:16

listener. Listeners, if you'd like to

11:18

submit a suggestion for our What's

11:20

the Difference Round, go to Go

11:22

Factor pod.com and click on Get

11:25

Involved. Welcome, welcome. Welcome, listener, take

11:27

it away. Thank you very much.

11:29

Hi, my name is Ted Hardwick

11:31

and I'm from Studio City, California.

11:33

And my question for what's the

11:35

difference is, while they both indicate

11:37

something being forecast, what is the

11:39

difference between a prediction and a

11:41

prophecy? Thank you so much Ted,

11:43

appreciate your being here. All right,

11:45

Antonio you heard our listener Ted.

11:48

What is the difference between a

11:50

prediction and a prophecy? I think

11:52

a prediction is based more on

11:54

not just speculation. I think a

11:56

prophecy would be more like something

11:58

spiritual. religious. Something spiritual or religious.

12:00

All right, we've got Antonio's answer,

12:02

we don't know yet if he's

12:04

entirely correct, and Margaret anything you'd

12:06

like to change or add to

12:08

try to get a point for

12:11

yourself. No, I think he was

12:13

perfect. Wow! This show is moving

12:15

right along. All right, well, this

12:17

segment has become predictable. Let's go

12:19

to Helen Hong at the judge's

12:21

table for the facts. Here are

12:23

the facts. A prediction is a

12:25

guess about what's going to happen

12:27

based on human knowledge experience or

12:29

observation, like a prediction about the

12:31

weather or the outcome of a

12:34

sporting event. And a prediction could

12:36

turn out to be correct or

12:38

incorrect. A prophecy is a guess

12:40

about what's going to happen based

12:42

on supernatural abilities. or beliefs. A

12:44

true prophecy should always be correct

12:46

because it is coming directly from

12:48

God or some other force that

12:50

knows the truth. That's right. When

12:52

a prophecy is wrong that means

12:54

it was not a prophecy, it

12:57

was a false prophecy. When a

12:59

prediction is wrong it means I

13:01

got a bad tip from my

13:03

bookie. How did our guest do?

13:05

I would like to give Antonio

13:07

a point and a half because

13:09

Antonio you did say spiritual religious

13:11

for prophecy, which is correct. not

13:13

speculation for prediction, which is kind

13:15

of not exactly right, but kind

13:18

of right. Yeah, so a point

13:20

and a half. Point and a

13:22

half. I'll take it. I'll take

13:24

it. Very nice. My last point

13:26

and a half. All right, up

13:28

next in today's forecast is Ann

13:30

Margaret. In weather forecast, we often

13:32

hear predictions about the day being

13:34

partly sunny or partly cloudy. Okay.

13:36

The difference is Jewish wine. Yeah.

13:38

No answer from Ann Margaret, but

13:41

Antonio, anything you'd like to try

13:43

on that. In the first, there's

13:45

more sun than not. In the

13:47

second, there's more clouds than not.

13:49

Okay. All right. I don't know.

13:51

Well, there's a dark cloud over

13:53

this segment. Let's go to Helen

13:55

Hong at the judges table for

13:57

the facts. Here are the facts.

13:59

I'll read read directly

14:01

from the National Weather Service website.

14:03

A A forecast of partly

14:06

cloudy or partly sunny is

14:08

made when between three tenths

14:10

and six tenths of the

14:12

sky is to be covered

14:14

with clouds. with the day, either

14:16

term could be used. However,

14:18

for the nighttime forecast periods,

14:20

a a forecast of partly

14:22

cloudy would be the only

14:24

appropriate term as there is

14:26

no sunshine at night. ...

14:28

... night. Sometimes just that simple. all

14:30

going we all going, didn't I think

14:32

of that? of that's right. It

14:34

literally is a difference of night and

14:36

day a the way I once had

14:38

a cat who was mostly white with

14:40

patches of a and we called him partly

14:42

cloudy with patches of gray, and we called him a good

14:44

boy He's a good boy. Helen, you going to

14:47

accept to chevits? How did our guests do?

14:49

How did our guest do? If I was I was

14:51

drinking a Menneshovitz, I I might

14:53

accept it, but Ann Margaret, sorry. No, no

14:55

points there, no points there, but what is our score at the

14:57

end of the round, At the end of that round,

14:59

Vierogosa has a in a half Ann

15:01

Margaret has has zero points. those scores are

15:03

bound to change as we move as to

15:05

questions about topics about have chosen for themselves That's

15:07

all up ahead when we come back up ahead

15:09

when we come back on Go Fact Yourself. Hey,

Yeah, I'm trying to

16:40

spell it, but it's

16:42

tricky. Let me give

16:44

it a try. Okay.

16:47

If you need a

16:49

laugh and you're on

16:51

the go, call S-S-O-P-P-P-P-P-D-I-I

16:53

will never fit. No,

16:56

it will. Let me

16:58

try. If you're so

17:00

close. Stop podcasting yourself.

17:03

A podcast for maximum

17:05

fun.org. If you need

17:07

a laugh? And you're

17:10

on the go. Once

17:15

again, here's Jakey Van Stratton. Thank you,

17:17

everybody. Thank you, Helen. All right, Mr.

17:19

Via Regosa, of your many interests. You

17:21

told us that you know and love

17:24

mass transportation in Los Angeles, Los Angeles

17:26

restaurants, and movies that take place in

17:28

Los Angeles. Let's find out a little

17:30

bit more about each of those. First,

17:32

tell us why you know and love

17:34

mass transportation in Los Angeles. Well, because

17:36

in the eight years I was married,

17:38

we built one busway and four light

17:40

rail lines more than anybody than anybody

17:42

in America. All right, next tell us

17:44

what Los Angeles restaurants means to you.

17:46

Whenever I go around the country, I'd

17:48

want to bring chefs to LA and

17:50

they'd always say, I don't want to

17:52

go to LA. It takes two and

17:54

a half years to build a restaurant.

17:56

And so I cut that down to

17:58

six months and... of the

18:00

restaurants We love today, you know. know, we're

18:02

there around 2005. you also so

18:04

you also love it like a father. I'm sending a theme. Yeah.

18:07

Okay. And then finally, tell us why you know and us

18:09

why you know and love movies

18:11

that take place in Los Angeles.

18:13

I used to always say I walked

18:15

down a red carpet that the people People

18:17

behind the camera are more important than

18:19

people in front. in It's the entertainment capital

18:21

of the world. capital to see

18:23

people and I loved right. working. All

18:25

right. Amen. All right, well

18:27

right, well, to summarize, you said and love mass

18:29

transportation in Los Angeles, Los Angeles and

18:32

movies that take place in Los Angeles. Today

18:34

we want to quiz you today We want to

18:36

Angeles about Los Angeles restaurants

18:40

What are are some of your favorites that

18:42

come to mind? I love Medeos, love Drago love

18:44

I love I love I like Italian food. You

18:46

like Italian food, yeah. I you grew up here,

18:48

were there ones that you went to as

18:50

a kid that are still around today? Now you

18:52

grew up here. Were the ones that you went you know,

18:54

she didn't have enough money to

18:56

take the four kids, so she would

18:58

take one of us to the

19:00

movies My we'd go to the didn't have enough

19:03

money to take the go to

19:05

So she She would only take one of you at

19:07

a time. a time? Well, she could only afford

19:09

one. one, and so take one. one. Would she pick?

19:11

next then the next one, she'd so another. Oh, so now, so

19:13

wasn't like just you you. Like you, it's

19:15

it's not there was a favorite child. child that she

19:17

only took. No, no, no. I was her favorite child.

19:19

Of course. course. You won that election too. I

19:21

won that election too. All right, too. ahead well,

19:24

the help of a bona fide expert in

19:26

your topic with a question worth up to

19:28

three points, but before that, to let you

19:30

show your love, here are five trivia questions

19:32

about your topic, each worth one point. If

19:34

you want it, you're you hint for any

19:36

two of these five questions. Now, Ann Margaret,

19:38

listen closely because if Antonio answers incorrectly, you you

19:40

could steal, by the way, how much do

19:42

you know about Los Angeles these five I don't

19:45

know, I'll find out. Margaret, I'll find out

19:47

too. closely, right here's question number

19:49

one. Los Angeles is a competitive

19:51

town especially when it comes to

19:53

intellectual property and this applies

19:55

to the restaurant scene as well

19:57

as seen in two different downtown

19:59

restaurants. and coals, both claiming that their

20:01

chefs invented what European-sounding beef sandwich dunked

20:04

in juice. Roast beef dip sandwich. Helen,

20:06

is it roast beef dip sandwich? That

20:08

is not correct. No, I'm terribly sorry.

20:11

Anne Margaret, with a chance to steal.

20:13

I don't know. No, that's okay. Audience,

20:15

why don't you tell them? The French

20:18

dip from the leaves. You should have

20:20

asked for the hint. The hint is

20:22

so good. Helen, what would that hint

20:25

have been? It makes your sandwich, uh,

20:27

how do you say, wet. Helen Hong,

20:29

ladies and gentlemen. Mercy, mercy. And which

20:32

one invented it? They both claimed that

20:34

they did, so it's up to you

20:36

to decide. I say Philippe's. I probably

20:39

say that as well. Fun fact, both

20:41

Philippe's and Cole's opened in 1908, and

20:43

both are still open today, but only

20:46

Philippe's has free parking, which in LA

20:48

is the most delicious thing. Here

20:51

here bonus fun fact the owner

20:53

of phleaps calls it phleepays their

20:55

outgoing voicemail says phleaps so Get

20:57

on the same page. Yeah via

20:59

condias All right, let's if you

21:02

can bounce back. Yours question number

21:04

two. People don't go to restaurants

21:06

in LA just because of what's

21:08

inside. Several LA restaurants attract diners

21:10

because of the unusual shapes of

21:13

the building. For instance, you can

21:15

currently visit Tale of the Pupp,

21:17

a building that is shaped like

21:19

the food that it specializes in,

21:21

which is what? Fun

21:23

fact, you can still see remnants

21:25

of other notable restaurants shaped like

21:28

things, like the brown derby's hat-shaped

21:30

building, but long gone is the

21:32

24-hour diner called The Zepp, which

21:34

was shaped like a Zeppelin, and

21:36

I'm not making this up, advertised

21:38

itself as home of the Hindenberger.

21:40

Oh, the humanity, indeed! Here's question

21:42

number three visitors to LA might

21:44

wish to dine at a restaurant

21:46

owned by a celebrity But according

21:48

to trip advisors seven celebrity-owned restaurants

21:50

in LA to try now Which

21:52

one of the following celebrities does

21:55

not currently own or co-own a

21:57

restaurant to try now? Is it

21:59

Robert De Niro, Matt Damon, Issa

22:01

Ray, Travis Barker, or Danny Trejo?

22:03

Robert De Niro. Helen? That is

22:05

not correct. No, I'm terribly sorry.

22:07

A chance for Ann Marbit to

22:09

steal. Issa Ray? Helen? Also not

22:11

correct. Oh, we were all rooting

22:13

for you on that one. No,

22:15

Matt Damon does not currently own

22:17

a restaurant. What else is he

22:19

doing? Oh, he's acting and being

22:21

a movie star. Sure, yeah. Fun

22:24

fact, Matt Damon used to own

22:26

the continental restaurant with Ben Affleck,

22:28

but it closed many years ago.

22:30

Robert DeNiro is an owner of

22:32

Nobu. Issa Ray Hilltop Coffee and

22:34

Kitchen, and Travis Barker Crossroads Kitchen.

22:36

Denny Trajo has numerous food places

22:38

with his name, including Trerajo's. Really?

22:40

Taco Tuesday across the pond. That's

22:42

great. Yes, I think you realized

22:44

after that you knew De Niro

22:46

had no boo. I actually know

22:48

no boo, but should have got

22:51

that one. It doesn't sound like

22:53

you're no boo. I know. Here's

22:55

question number four. You do still

22:57

have your two hints available. With

22:59

as many great restaurants as there

23:01

are in Los Angeles, no restaurant

23:03

in the area has ever received

23:05

three Michelin stars. But every year

23:07

that Michelin has given them out

23:09

since 2008, one restaurant has been

23:11

awarded some amount of stars. Which

23:13

restaurant is it? Can I have

23:15

a hint? Yes, you can. Helen,

23:18

how about that hint? It shares

23:20

its one word name with a

23:22

capital of the smallest state in

23:24

the US. Which some say is

23:26

Rhode Island. Yes. I got that

23:28

one. What's your favorite state capital?

23:30

And feel free to pander. Sacramento.

23:32

It is not Sacramento. No, I'm

23:34

terribly sorry, but don't we love

23:36

Sacramento? Isn't that the best? All

23:38

right, a chance for Ann Margaret

23:40

to steal? No. No. No, I'm

23:42

sorry. No, we were looking audience.

23:44

Providence. You guys are so good

23:47

in unison too. Yes. Everybody got

23:49

Providence. Yes, that's all right. Providence,

23:51

Rhode Island, yes. No ways, you

23:53

know what, they all got it,

23:55

but they're not under the lights

23:57

and under pressure. here so you're

23:59

doing great. I don't feel pressure.

24:01

Okay well then I just didn't

24:03

know the answer. Okay fair enough

24:05

I was trying to I was

24:07

spending making excuse for you. Okay

24:09

fun fact Providence got one star

24:11

the first year and two stars

24:14

ever since. Providence by the way

24:16

specializes in seafood which is a

24:18

reason I don't eat there because

24:20

I don't eat seafood. They also

24:22

offer a chef menu with premium

24:24

wine pairing for $650 per person

24:26

which is another reason I don't

24:28

eat there. All right, let's see

24:30

if you can bounce back with

24:32

question five. You do still have

24:34

your hint available. In December, the

24:36

Los Angeles Times published their annual

24:38

list of Best Los Angeles restaurants

24:41

and inducted a few of them

24:43

into their Hall of Fame. Of

24:45

their 38 restaurants now in their

24:47

Hall of Fame, most are listed

24:49

as serving either Mexican or American

24:51

food. But what nation's cuisine is

24:53

the next most represented with four

24:55

Hall of Fame restaurants? Give me

24:57

a hint. Helen, how about that

24:59

second hint? One of these restaurants

25:01

is appropriately in a little historic

25:03

historic district. But unlike little Ethiopia

25:05

or little Armenia, this downtown district's

25:07

little refers to a city and

25:10

not a country. Little Tokyo. So

25:12

the nation would be? Japan. Helen?

25:14

That is correct. We got there!

25:16

Very well done. Fun fact Matsuyisa

25:18

Otafuku Asanibo and sushi gen are

25:20

the four Japanese restaurants represented in

25:22

the Hall of Fame The newest

25:24

inductees serve Creole Mexican Korean Persian

25:26

and California the melting pot of

25:28

Los Angeles cuisine I'm still upset

25:30

that I miss Providence You got

25:32

to move on. Yeah, you got

25:34

to move on. All right, Mr.

25:37

Mayor now here's your expert level

25:39

question that requires multiple answers It

25:41

is time for your cluster fact

25:44

We'll be bringing on an expert to discuss your

25:46

response. Two of the biggest names in Los Angeles

25:48

restaurants are Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken, who

25:50

changed the culinary landscape of the city with icons

25:52

like City Restaurant, Borders Grill, and Sokolo, which technically...

25:54

is not in the

25:56

city of Los Angeles. For

25:58

up to three points,

26:00

on what famous Los Angeles

26:02

Street was their first

26:04

restaurant, City Cafe, located, what

26:06

starchy fruit is in

26:08

the empanada that is one

26:10

of is one signature dishes

26:12

since 1985, since and in

26:14

what city very near Los

26:16

Angeles is Sokolo located. One

26:18

of them was on was Unfigura. Okay? Another

26:20

one was on Bray, huh? No, no. No, no,

26:22

no, we only need one answer,

26:25

which is City Cafe. What What street was City

26:27

on when it first opened? first opened? City

26:29

It's a famous Los Angeles Angeles Avenue. Fine.

26:31

Okay. And and then next, what fruit is

26:33

in the is in the the of one of

26:35

their signature dishes? starchy fruit. Starchie fruit. Star

26:38

cheese fruit. Mongo, that's what they

26:40

do. Mongo, and and then finally, in what city

26:42

very near Los Angeles Los Angeles located? Culver City.

26:44

Culver Culver City. Okay, is taking note of your note of

26:46

We have an expert on hand who can

26:48

tell us for sure. Helen, who do we

26:50

have tonight? Joining us tonight

26:52

is an award -winning chef, we

26:55

author, and Joining us tonight iconic

26:57

restaurants chef, the culinary landscape

26:59

of LA. It's Susan

27:01

Fenneger! landscape of LA. It's Susan Feniger!

27:05

Susan and Antonio Huggy. They're

27:07

They know each other! They

27:09

do. knows I've knows I've been rest.

27:11

Absolutely. Hello Susan, Susan, have a

27:13

seat. and thank you so much for joining us.

27:15

Welcome, joining us. Oh my god, and you're in a

27:17

chef outfit and everything. I love it so

27:19

much. I came from. much. I came from work.

27:21

Oh, thank you so much. An minutes. 40 minutes

27:23

late. Yes, yes. You and Mr. are very familiar with

27:25

one another. fact, you were telling me

27:28

the other day that you actually In when

27:30

he would come into your rest. me the

27:32

other dinners at the

27:34

remember when he would come into your

27:36

restaurants. We Ciudad. Ciudad, dinners

27:38

at the mayor's in in addition to

27:40

your iconic And you had a

27:42

show on Food and border grill down.

27:44

nearly 400 episodes. You've co six

27:47

cookbooks, competed on Top Chef Masters,

27:49

and and you've won several awards

27:51

awards, prestigious James Beard Award and

27:53

Julia Child Award. and Julia from

27:55

your restaurants are in the Smithsonian.

27:57

restaurants are in the Smithsonian. This

28:00

was a very cool thing. It's

28:02

the Julia Child Award and it's

28:04

because her kitchen is all rebuilt

28:06

at the Smithsonian. Right, I know

28:08

that. They sent out two curators

28:10

to see you died and looked

28:12

at all of our stuff from

28:14

1981 and then picked the stuff

28:17

that they wanted to put into

28:19

that box that's next to Julius

28:21

Kitchen. Wow, what an honor. Very

28:23

cool. Very cool. We have in

28:25

there the check that my dad

28:27

when he wrote it for us

28:29

to open up the restaurant when

28:31

he said, I know I'll never

28:33

get this money back. And we

28:35

did send it back and he

28:37

sent it back and we framed

28:39

it. Oh, that's lovely. That's wonderful.

28:41

Very sweet. Well, of course, much

28:43

of your success has been with

28:45

Mary Sue Milliken. You've worked for

28:48

over 40 years together. 44. Why

28:50

do you think it is that

28:52

you too work so well together?

28:54

Like I think is that women,

28:56

you know, could probably run the

28:58

world fairly well. For sure. Yeah.

29:00

For sure. Give and take. Over

29:02

the year. In the beginning, we

29:04

each checked, you know, what the

29:06

other one did at city cafe.

29:08

I wanted six courses, she wanted

29:10

four and we'd end up at

29:12

five. So, but now 40, 40

29:14

years later. Yeah, that's how a

29:16

good relationship works. I don't know

29:19

if people today appreciate what trailblazers

29:21

you were. Talk about what it

29:23

was like being women in restaurant

29:25

kitchens then and how it is

29:27

today. Back then, as a woman,

29:29

you'd end up with the prep

29:31

guys, which mainly were Hispanic all

29:33

over the country. So what happened

29:35

is they would make these amazing

29:37

meals for staff meals for staff

29:39

meals. And I think that's what

29:41

influenced Mary Sue and I had

29:43

opened our first board of girls,

29:45

because like, this is the most

29:47

amazing food. And you know, they're

29:50

just, you were in the sort

29:52

of lower end of the kitchen,

29:54

but that's where all the learning

29:56

happened. Wow. You made less, but

29:58

I had an end goal of

30:00

where I wanted to get to,

30:02

so. And you got there and

30:04

how. It's like, yeah. Your latest

30:06

restaurant is called Alice B. It

30:08

is in Palm Springs. Tell us.

30:10

Oh, we have some Alice B.

30:12

Fans. Tell us about the restaurant.

30:14

It's all Mediterranean. It's connected to

30:16

a very high-end complex, apartment complex,

30:18

called Living Out, which is 55

30:21

and over LGBTQ community. So Alice

30:23

B. is in honor of Alice

30:25

B. Tokelos. Oh, wow. That's so

30:27

cool. Yeah. And it's. Wonderful, I

30:29

love it. Congratulations. You don't just

30:31

cook for people in high-end environments.

30:33

Tell us about this commissary project

30:35

that's been very close to your

30:37

heart. During COVID, we began with

30:39

doing food for clinicians, and then

30:41

we got our first contract to

30:43

do food for those food insecure.

30:45

We are now doing 3,000 meals

30:47

a day, 10 different homeless locations.

30:49

And back when we had city

30:52

restaurant, we were working with the

30:54

VA. in Westwood and they have

30:56

15 acres of land that we

30:58

used to, the vets would plant

31:00

for a horticulture therapy program. They

31:02

would deliver it to city restaurant

31:04

on labria and ask us how

31:06

much we want to pay for

31:08

it. We're trying to raise money

31:10

to bring those 15 acres back

31:12

because the program ended in 2007.

31:14

So much food can be produced

31:16

for the vets on 15 acres.

31:18

If anyone's thinking about that, go

31:20

to my Instagram and donate. All

31:23

right, my goodness, yes. The passion

31:25

with which you talk about that

31:27

is going to get a lot

31:29

of people excited. All right, well,

31:31

let's get to the reason we

31:33

brought you here as far as

31:35

our game is concerned. You heard

31:37

the questions that we asked of

31:39

Antonio. First, we wanted to know

31:41

on what famous Los Angeles Street

31:43

was the first restaurant of someone

31:45

named Susan Feniger and Mary Sue

31:47

Milliken located Helen. What did Antonio

31:49

say? Antonio said Vine. And Susan?

31:51

Melrose. Melrose. Melrose and Martel. Yes,

31:54

next to L. A. I worked

31:56

there. fruit is in the emponata

31:58

that is one of border grills

32:00

signature dishes since 1985. Helen what

32:02

did Antonio say? Antonio said mango.

32:04

Okay I will say that you

32:06

if you had described it better

32:08

he probably would have gotten it.

32:10

We're getting roasted now Jakey. Star

32:12

tea fruit. Yeah. Because if you

32:14

had said... If you had said

32:16

what is the emponada wrapped with,

32:18

he would have known it was

32:20

Plantanose. It was Plantanose. So it's

32:22

my fault, would you like to

32:25

give half a point or a

32:27

point then? For sure. Okay, a

32:29

point for Antonio. Wow. What do

32:31

they call it? Work in the

32:33

refs? It's over here. And finally,

32:35

I wanted to know in what

32:37

city very near to Los Angeles

32:39

is their restaurant Sokolo technically located.

32:41

Helen, what did Antonio say? Antonio

32:43

said Culver City. And Susan, you

32:45

want to blame me for this

32:47

one too? Well, we probably would

32:49

have gone to Culver City, except

32:51

the government there, you know, they

32:53

didn't want us there, so we

32:56

had to end up in Santa

32:58

Monica. Santa Monica, I'm sorry, no

33:00

point. No point. Why you decided

33:02

to work with a homeless? Our

33:04

philosophy from the very beginning was,

33:06

it's the people in the city

33:08

who support you as a restauranter,

33:10

and so it's very important to

33:12

give back. I think we feel

33:14

a responsibility to have our team,

33:16

the kids at work for us,

33:18

learn about how you can give

33:20

back. You don't have to write

33:22

a check, but you need to

33:24

give back. What a wonderful message,

33:27

especially this time of year. Susan

33:29

it's been such an honor that

33:31

you joined us if people want

33:33

to find out more about you

33:35

to go fact yourself with our

36:01

36:04

again, here's Jay Keith Van Stratton. Thank

36:06

you, Helen. All right, Anne Margaret of

36:08

your many interests. You told us that

36:11

you know and love musicals from the

36:13

1960s and 70s, which you were in,

36:15

the TV show Law and Order SVU,

36:18

which you were in and won an

36:20

Emmy for, and the Raiders football team

36:22

from 1980s to the present, which I

36:25

don't know if you were in, but

36:27

I wouldn't be surprised. Let's

36:29

find out a little bit

36:31

more about each of those. First,

36:34

tell us why you know

36:36

and love the Raiders football

36:38

team from the 1980s to the

36:40

present. Roger and I, my

36:42

husband, bless his soul, we

36:44

just love the Raiders because of

36:46

that patch. The eye patch

36:48

on their own patch. Very

36:51

mysterious. You just liked the graphic

36:53

of the mascot? Yeah. Whatever

36:55

gets you there. Next, and

36:57

Margaret, tell us why you know

36:59

and love the TV show

37:01

Law and Order SVU. Oh,

37:03

I started watching it a long,

37:06

long time ago. Fabulous actors

37:08

and actresses. There's always something

37:10

exciting about the show. Yeah. What

37:12

was it like for you

37:14

to win that Emmy for

37:16

being on a show that you

37:19

already loved for so many

37:21

years? Oh, I was thrilled.

37:23

Absolutely thrilled. The first Emmy I've

37:25

ever received. Did you play

37:27

someone who got murdered? That

37:29

sounds like she's a suspect. I

37:31

don't know. All right, and

37:33

then finally, tell us why

37:35

you know one loved musicals from

37:38

the 1960s and 70s. Is

37:40

it because you were in

37:42

some? What are some of your

37:44

favorites of that era? I

37:46

sure loved Five By Birdie.

37:48

Yeah, I think a lot of

37:51

people did. all the things

37:53

that you go through when

37:55

you're young. Did you have a

37:57

lot of calluses on your

37:59

feet? So you enjoyed watching

38:01

musicals where other people got enjoyed

38:03

watching musicals where other people got

38:05

to get the All on their to summarize Ann

38:07

Margaret right, well to summarize and you

38:10

said that you know and love the

38:12

Raiders football team from the the to

38:14

the present, the TV show TV Order

38:16

and musicals from the 1960s and the

38:18

Today we're going to quiz you about

38:20

we're Raiders. you about The Raiders! Just

38:25

ahead going to help of a the expert in

38:27

your topic with an expert level question

38:29

We're up to three points, but before

38:31

that to let you show your love

38:33

here are five trivia questions about the

38:35

topic love one point if you wanted

38:37

your about the any each worth because If Margaret it

38:39

of these five questions two or because you're Ann listen

38:41

closely because if and Margaret answers incorrectly

38:43

you could steal closely by the way

38:45

How much do you know about the

38:47

Raiders football team from the 1980s to

38:49

the present? how much do I actually wasn't a

38:51

fan. I was going team from the 1980 to the I

38:53

think you're losing votes right now right now.

38:55

I was was more of a rampant.

38:58

Of a Rams fan, Okay. Now when they win

39:00

they won the championship, I like like them

39:02

You did like, you're like a winner. a

39:04

winner. All right, here's question number number one for Ann

39:06

Ann Margaret, the Ann Margaret, with the

39:08

Raiders in Oakland, but they've moved three

39:10

different times, including back to Oakland.

39:12

What is one of the other two

39:15

cities What very nearby two they called

39:17

home? nearby, where they That is correct. That is

39:19

correct. That is correct. On the board.

39:23

Fun fact, the Raiders aren't the only

39:25

team with multiple stops in one location. in

39:27

Both the Rams and the Rams were

39:29

in LA, were left LA, LA, and came

39:31

back to LA, just like me when

39:33

I went to college. Los Angeles is Angeles other, of

39:36

the other, of course, is Las Vegas,

39:38

where they're located now. now. All right, here's

39:40

question question No matter where the Raiders called

39:42

home from the home to today, you

39:44

could always see one of their slogans

39:46

all over the stadium, next to that

39:48

logo with the to that you like. the

39:50

even in the locker room, it promises the

39:52

just it to not but

39:54

commitment to to good, but commitment

39:57

to what? is Ellen? That is

39:59

excellently correct. Another point for

40:01

Ann Margaret! Fun fact, the Raiders

40:03

have a Commitment to Excellence Award,

40:06

a Commitment to Excellence Dinner, and

40:08

on nflshop.com, a Commitment to Excellence

40:10

Fine Art Canvas Print, by Robert

40:12

McFetridge, for $999.99, which is not

40:15

enough for dinner for two at

40:17

Providence. All right, you're two for

40:19

two, Ann Margaret. Here's question number

40:22

three. Over 25 raiders have been

40:24

inducted in the Pro Football Hall

40:26

of Fame, some of whom are

40:28

better known for their time on

40:31

other teams. But which one of

40:33

the following Hall of Fameers never

40:35

played for the Raiders? Is it

40:38

Ronnie Lott, Eric Dickerson, Randy Moss,

40:40

Dion Sanders, or Jerry Rice? Dion

40:42

Sanders. Ellen? That is correct. Three

40:44

for three! Wow! The proud goes

40:47

wild! Fun fact, Dion Sanders played

40:49

in the NFL for the Falcons,

40:51

49ers, Cowboys, Washington, and Baltimore, and

40:53

in Major League Baseball, for the

40:56

Yankees, Braves, Reds, and Giants, but

40:58

he never played for the Raiders.

41:00

Yeah, that guy. He's doing okay

41:03

now. All right, here's question four.

41:05

You do still have hints available.

41:07

When you get into the Hall

41:09

of Fame, a famous person sometimes

41:12

gives a speech to induct you.

41:14

And former Raiders coach and owner

41:16

Al Davis made presentation speeches for

41:19

nine different people when they were

41:21

inducted into the Hall of Fame.

41:23

But when Al Davis was inducted

41:25

in 1992, what Raiders icon made

41:28

the speech for him? Oh, could

41:30

I have a hint, please? Yes,

41:32

you may. Kids today probably know

41:35

him more for video games than

41:37

for his legendary broadcasting and coaching

41:39

career with the Raiders. John Madden.

41:41

Helen? That is correct! That is

41:44

correct! Yay! That's right. John Madden

41:46

inducted Al Davis and one of

41:48

the nine hall of famous that

41:50

Al Davis inducted was John Madden!

41:53

They inducted each

41:55

other, other. gotta

41:57

be a lot

42:00

of fun. lot of fun.

42:02

You are are really a fan. I

42:04

am. big fan. That's wonderful. Like, you

42:06

know a a a long time. Yes. Yeah, Roger

42:08

and and I a fans starting in the

42:10

in the 70s. you have a chance to go

42:12

five for five if you can get this

42:15

question correct. for do still have a hint

42:17

available. this Your topic of the You the still began

42:19

with the Raiders winning the Super Bowl in

42:21

the 1980 season, and they won it again

42:23

three years later. with Alas, that is not

42:25

the fate for the current team and they did

42:27

not make this season's years Since that Super

42:29

Bowl in the 1983 season, how many times

42:31

have the Raiders made the playoffs? And we'll

42:34

give it to you within three. it to I

42:36

ask for the hint, please? for

42:38

you may! please? Yes you may believe I just said

42:40

that I How about that next hand? I won

42:42

their Helen how times. They

42:44

also made the playoffs as

42:47

a wild times. They than

42:49

once. And yet a those

42:51

40 seasons, less than half

42:53

of them featured a

42:55

playoff appearance. featured a appearance.

42:57

So won it five times.

42:59

Right. So it's at least least five. At

43:02

least They also also made a wild

43:04

card more than wild at least

43:06

more than once. So it's at least seven.

43:08

Thirteen. That is in the range. That

43:10

is in the range. And that is

43:12

in the range. And love it five

43:15

for five. Fun

43:18

fact, after the Raiders' appearance in

43:20

the 2002 season Super the Raiders

43:22

went on a tear of on a

43:24

seasons seasons a winning record. And

43:26

yet and yet Ann with them the

43:29

entire time. the entire time Yes All

43:31

right Ann Margaret you obviously right,

43:33

Anne Margaret, you obviously did very well in

43:35

that, but now here is your three -part

46:20

Ann Margaret's hand. Wow. I'm serious. Are you, does

46:22

this mean you're Super Bowl married? I tell you,

46:24

when Al bought that ring for us, he says,

46:27

I bought this ring so if you ever met

46:29

the queen, you wouldn't be embarrassed to show it

46:31

to it. Well, you are not embarrassed to show

46:33

it to this queen here tonight. Yes, absolutely. You

46:35

played 13 seasons in the NFL, a two-time pro

46:37

bowler and four-time all-pro selection. You played in 174

46:39

games with 90 starts with the Raiders, with six

46:42

post-season runs, including being a key member of the

46:44

Raiders Super Bowl, how I can't read Roman numerals,

46:46

of the Super Bowl 18 championship in your very

46:48

first season. And

46:52

Greg, you actually were aware that Ann

46:54

Margaret is a Raiders fan. Always, yeah.

46:57

My first time seeing Ann was on

46:59

Viva Las Vegas and she made those

47:01

dance moves look so easy and fun.

47:03

And the good thing about it, I

47:05

watched that show because dancing was the

47:07

big key for me getting all my

47:09

steps. Oh wow. Really? Yeah. It's all

47:11

footwork. Obviously you won that Super Bowl,

47:14

you have the wonderful ring. And that

47:16

was your first season in the NFL.

47:18

What was it like to win the

47:20

Super Bowl that year? Did you think,

47:22

this is easy, I can do this

47:24

every year. Actually I did. I thought

47:26

I'm gonna have a ton of Super

47:28

Bowl rings when I quit. Now

47:31

I read that you said you didn't even

47:33

realize that you were good until a few

47:35

games into that first season correct I can

47:38

even recall when I got there as a

47:40

rookie the day that vets came to camp

47:42

I was just all struck by all those

47:44

players that I used to watch on the

47:47

TV screen and I remember it was the

47:49

third game of the season I said I

47:51

need to run a touchdown to be part

47:53

of this team in no way a defensive

47:56

fan supposed to be thinking about touchdown

47:58

I picked up up a fumble

48:00

a touchdown. for a touchdown. Oh

48:02

my gosh. That's when I got That's

48:04

when I got congratulated by all those

48:06

guys. I was 'all was all Yeah. They came

48:08

over and came over and me me. I'm

48:10

whoa, this is this is manifested it. Oh, I did. I

48:12

manifested it. Oh, I did. I

48:14

did. Thank you. You're still involved in

48:16

the game. Tell us about the

48:19

coaching that you've been doing. My first

48:21

coaching job was over at over at the

48:23

Oak Christian out Oaks. in And then that

48:25

became such a commute for me because

48:27

I live in Long Beach. for me because

48:29

I live in Long Beach. Yeah. Yeah. I spent more

48:31

more time in traffic than

48:33

I did coaches, right? That's much That's

48:35

much longer than a two

48:37

-minute drill, isn't it? You're

48:39

telling me. Yeah. You're telling me. to say

48:41

this year I'll be coaching

48:43

at Long Beach City College. at

48:45

congratulations. Beach City College. life, right? This

48:49

might seem a basic

48:51

question for someone question Can you tell

48:53

us, what does it feel like to sack a quarterback in

48:55

the NFL? you, but

48:57

can you tell us what

48:59

does it feel for little kids. a

49:02

ha, Ha, ha, ha, ha. the a

49:04

dope conversation. scanning than that? Oh, yeah.

49:06

Okay. kids. ha, ha, ha, ha,

49:08

ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, it's

49:10

ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. ha, better see

49:12

one day. You'll see. yeah. Okay. Last I'm

49:14

I asked to ask when I asked

49:16

if there was anything you wanted

49:18

to promote, you actually said to

49:20

a church. Yeah, my church I

49:22

go to. I love the church

49:24

I go to. It's called to, it's

49:26

Life West. Life West, it's in Long Beach,

49:28

in Long Beach, and whenever I get and

49:30

about I'd like to tell people how

49:32

God has done so much good

49:34

in my life can do can do the

49:36

same in yours and we just

49:38

understand west that we're the light and you guys are the light you

49:40

guys Well I light as well. of I can see

49:42

a lot of light in your eyes as

49:44

you tell All right today. get to right, well, let's get

49:47

to the reason we brought you here as

49:49

far as our game is concerned. You our heard

49:51

the questions that we asked Ann that First, we

49:53

want to know what important defensive want to know someone

49:55

named Greg Townsend hold the Raiders record for someone named

49:57

Greg towns half? Helen, what did Ann Margaret say? 100

49:59

the Raiders. Sachs. And Greg? Sachs. Sachs.

50:01

It is. Sachs, baby. Still the

50:03

all-time Raiders leader. It's called Sachs.

50:05

I have to ask, what is

50:07

half a sack? That's when one

50:10

of those clowns, one of my

50:12

teammates, see that I got the

50:14

guy, he gonna jump on it,

50:16

too. So he can get a

50:18

little credit, you know what I

50:20

mean? I get him in a

50:22

locker room, I said, my man,

50:24

you know I had that. I

50:26

didn't need no help. I didn't

50:28

need no help. I didn't need

50:30

that half, okay? I had the

50:32

whole set. There could have been

50:34

a whole 108, you know what

50:37

I mean? How we lost? You

50:39

know who it was. Yeah. All

50:41

right, next we wanted to know

50:43

against which AFC West rival did

50:45

Townsend have the team's longest interception

50:47

return of 86 yards in 1988.

50:49

We did not get an answer

50:51

from Ann Margaret, but what team

50:53

was it, Craig? The Denver Broncos.

50:55

The Denver Broncos. Who was it

50:57

that Denver Broncos? Who was it

50:59

that you intercepted? John Elway. Helen,

51:01

what did Ann Margaret say? Silver

51:04

and Black. And Greg? We wear

51:06

the silver. We wear the black.

51:08

Don't get in our way. We

51:10

wear the silver. We wear the

51:12

black. You better listen to what

51:14

we say. I think that's right.

51:16

I think that means she's right.

51:18

That's a point for Anne. It

51:20

was my only line in the

51:22

movie. That track was called the

51:24

Silver and Black Attack. Yes, Silver

51:26

Black Attack. All right, another point

51:28

for Ann Margaret, almost a perfect

51:31

game for you, Ann Margaret. While

51:33

we have Greg Townsend here, she's

51:35

playing like a waiter, isn't she?

51:37

Yes, only Todd was in the

51:39

lead, she's coming back like a

51:41

regular. That's right. Ann Margaret, while

51:43

we have Greg Townsend here, anything

51:45

you'd like to say or ask

51:47

of him. So what are you

51:49

doing now? But she asked me

51:51

what I'm doing now and that's

51:53

getting prepared for our season this

51:55

year with the Long Beach City

51:57

College Vikings. And that's the ombudsman

52:00

I went to and I still

52:02

hold a SAC record as well.

52:04

Oh, very very cool. Greg, it's

52:06

been so lovely that you joined

52:08

us if people want to find

52:10

out more about you and what

52:12

you're up to. Where can they

52:14

do that? You can find me

52:16

at gregtown.com or either on Instagram

52:18

at sackman.com. Yes, the Sackman indeed.

52:20

Craig Townsend and Super Bowl champion,

52:22

thank you for joining us. Helen,

52:24

what is our scores we going

52:27

to the final round? Oh my

52:29

gosh, that was so exciting, y'

52:31

y'all! At the end of that

52:33

amazing round, Antonio Vieragosa has four

52:35

and a half points and Ann

52:37

Margaret has seven points. But now

52:39

it is time for our final

52:41

round. We call fast facts. I'll

52:43

read 10 statements and each contestant

52:45

will answer with true or false.

52:47

I'll start with Antonio and then

52:49

alternate. Each correct answer is worth

52:51

one point. And again, please answer

52:54

each statement with true or false.

52:56

And we will go fast. Here

52:58

we begin. Antonio, the Hallmark channel

53:00

53:43

trivia game. True. Correct. Yeah, there

53:45

really is. Ann Margaret, that movie

53:48

where the people play a trivia

53:50

game is called Mary Quismus. I

53:55

think that's great. But is it

53:57

true or false? because

53:59

I love it. Incorrect.

54:01

No! Antonio, it's called trivia at

54:04

St. Nick's. called Trivia No, it really

54:06

54:08

54:10

54:13

54:15

54:17

they should have a movie called Mary

54:19

54:21

Ann Margaret. And Antonio vie Regosa

54:24
