Deputy Richard Diliberti is with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and has been on the SWAT Team for 13 years. He now is a Tactical Medic, accompanying the SWAT Team on callouts, and is also a Helicopter Medic for the Sheriff’s Department.

In this episode of the Go Law Enforcement Podcast, he discusses 2 memorable SWAT callouts. One involving a husband who shot his wife and was holding their 18 month old daughter hostage. Another involving an individual who took multiple hostages at a bar-b-que restaurant. 

Deputy Diliberti also talks about when as a Helicopter medic, he and his partner responded to an event in the Angeles National Forest that earned them the Lifesaving award from California EMS.
