On July 2, 2021, 22-year-old Gabby Petito of Long Island, NY, set out on an incredible journey to the western half of the United States in her converted Ford Transit van. She wanted to explore, go on adventures, and then document and share her journey with the world. And she did these things with a zest for life, and according to her father, “She touched the world.” Invited along on that journey was Gabby’s fiancé, 23-year-old Brian Laundrie, a man who has been described by someone who knew him with such words as jealous, toxic, and sociopathic. When Gabby was reported missing on September 11, Brian Laundrie had been back in Florida with Gabby’s van, where he had been for 11 days, and he had absolutely nothing to say about the fact that his fiancée was missing. When her body was discovered eight days later in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, Brian Laundrie fled, and the manhunt began. This is Brian Laundrie. Why run if you're innocent?
