The scene is set in New York City, the beginning of 1930’s. It is in the middle of the great depression, and everyone is struggling, no one knows what the future holds.

The characters in our dark tale start with five men, each from a different background, all needing money. So they decide to pull off an insurance scheme, something that happened a lot in those days. Before they decide to go through with it, they need a victim, so they have a body to give to the insurance companies. That is when a man named Michael Malloy staggers into the bar, drunk and ready for more. Michael is a nobody, a man without a job, a family, no reason for living. He is a man that works just enough to be able to drink the night away. According to the men known as the murder trust, Michael already had one foot in the grave, he would be an easy kill, an easy murder for quick cash.

But boy were they wrong.

In this episode we dive deep into what exactly the murder trust did to poor Michael, ranging from poison to accidents. And finally, we will discuss how exactly they got caught.
