Derek Künsken is the author of many works of fiction including the novella 'Tool Use by the Humans of Danzhai County' (ASIMOV'S, JULY/AUGUST 2020), THE QUANTUM MAGICIAN, and THE HOUSE OF STYX.

In this interview Derek chatted with me about artificial intelligence, poverty, and hope in the future. And more besides. It was a great conversation and I enjoyed it immensely.
