0:30
there everyone and welcome
0:32
to Yasmin's moonology podcast.
0:34
It's me again. I'm back for
0:36
another week Yasmin has once again
0:39
asked me to Take the helm
0:41
of the podcast this week, which
0:43
I'm more than happy to do.
0:45
If you haven't met me before,
0:47
my name is Cassandra and my
0:49
website is my name, which is
0:51
Cassandra tindle.com. I've appeared on Yasmin's
0:53
podcast quite a few times now
0:56
as a guest, but this is
0:58
my second rodeo at the helm
1:00
here at Monology. So I am
1:02
going to be taking you through
1:04
the week of February 23
1:06
and winding up on
1:08
March 1. Now for
1:11
my money, my astrological
1:13
money, 2025 kind of
1:15
starts this week. The
1:17
big news this week
1:19
is that the planet
1:21
Mars that has been
1:23
retrograde in the signs
1:25
of Leo and Cancer
1:28
since early December of
1:30
2024. has finally stationed
1:32
direct which happens this
1:34
week about the 24th which
1:36
is Monday. So while our computer
1:39
programs as astrologers can tell us
1:41
the exact sort of moment that
1:43
Mars stations it is a bit
1:46
of a process. Mars is the
1:48
planet out of all the planets
1:50
we use in astrology is the
1:53
one that retrogrades the least and
1:55
so it does take a little
1:57
while for that station to have.
2:00
So even before the week really
2:02
kicks off you might be starting
2:04
to feel some of that intensity.
2:07
You might be feeling a little
2:09
bit more emotional than usual. Maybe
2:11
there's a particular issue you've been
2:14
grappling with since early December that
2:16
you are that's sort of brought
2:19
to the head this week. Now
2:21
one of the analogies I've been
2:23
using to describe Mars Stationing Direct.
2:26
is what we say as astrologers
2:28
when it comes to planets that
2:30
are either stationing retrograde, which
2:33
is what Mars did back
2:35
in December, or stationing direct,
2:37
which is doing this week.
2:39
It's like when an aircraft
2:41
takes off, it uses all
2:43
its velocity, its power, it's
2:45
the full stress point of
2:47
the aircraft, and the same
2:49
when it lands. Now we could
2:51
see this station direct as the
2:54
landing point for Mars and the
2:56
journey the long arduous journey if
2:58
you've ever flown to Australia where
3:00
I'm from It's a long way
3:02
and we finally get to the
3:05
end. It's like the are we
3:07
there yet? The plane lands and
3:09
the journey sort of over but
3:11
because Mars is a bit of
3:13
a slow mover it takes two
3:16
years to cover the entire Zodiac
3:18
When Mars stations, as I was sort
3:20
of to circle back to what I
3:22
was originally saying, when Mars stations we
3:25
can kind of pinpoint the moment using
3:27
our computer software, but the journey is
3:29
a little bit... at like you descending
3:32
your landing the wheels that touch the
3:34
tarmac but it's not as though you
3:36
can just exit the aircraft straight away
3:38
sometimes there's a bit of a delay
3:41
whether that's taxing around the airport maybe
3:43
it's just takes a while to get
3:45
out because the plane is full and
3:48
people are dealing with their overhead luggage
3:50
and what have you. The reason I
3:52
describe it like this is because Mars
3:55
is stationing at 17 degrees of cancer
3:57
and it's been sitting there for a
3:59
of weeks now and it's not
4:02
going to get off this 17
4:04
degree mark until March 9. So
4:06
we've got a couple more weeks
4:09
of that to go and so
4:11
this is a long drawn-out process
4:14
that really started back around December.
4:16
Now I just wanted to give you
4:18
a few dates depending on your
4:21
astrological knowledge. You might know if
4:23
you have a planet or an
4:25
angle around say 15 to 18
4:28
degrees. of cancer and then you'll
4:30
know that Mars has been passing
4:32
over that or maybe you might
4:35
have a planet or point in
4:37
any of the other cardinal signs.
4:39
But if you've got a birthday
4:42
that falls on either the 7th,
4:44
8th or 9th of January then
4:46
Mars will be stationing opposite your
4:48
son. If you've got a birthday
4:51
6th, 7th, 8th of April then
4:53
Mars is squaring your son. If
4:55
you are in July... 8 9
4:57
or 10 then Mars is what
4:59
we call con joining your son
5:01
or passing over it and October
5:04
10 11 or 12 if your
5:06
birthday falls then then Mars is
5:08
also forming a square to your
5:10
son. So if you've got those
5:12
birthdays on those dates then this
5:14
is also going to be an
5:17
important journey for you. So
5:19
Mars has been retrograde for
5:21
a couple of months at
5:23
this point nearly three. And
5:25
a big part of this
5:28
journey is not in isolation.
5:30
For many people, this has
5:32
been an arduous and painful
5:34
process. Mars is a planet
5:37
that is classified as being
5:39
malefic. So it's a bit
5:41
more troublesome and difficult than
5:44
some of our other more
5:46
friendly planets. It's a planet
5:48
of action, of drive, of...
5:50
being assertive. It's also a planet
5:53
of violence. It's a planet of
5:55
defense. It's a planet of anger.
5:57
Now none of those things are...
6:00
bad in off themselves, but
6:02
when those things, those topics
6:04
in the sign of the
6:07
moon, cancer, it can be
6:09
a very emotionally triggering time
6:12
and emotionally activating time because
6:14
Mars is kind of tenderizing
6:16
some of our pain points
6:19
or some of those tender
6:21
emotions we may not prefer
6:24
to deal with. But there's
6:26
a method in this madness
6:29
and when we can take some
6:31
of these concepts of
6:33
Mars, cutting, burning, severing, separating
6:35
from, some of those painful emotions,
6:38
some of those painful memories, maybe
6:40
it's something from your past or
6:42
something that you're holding onto that
6:45
you know might have proved to
6:47
be a great defense mechanism at
6:50
one point in your life but
6:52
it might actually be the obstacle
6:54
now. So obviously this cycle is
6:57
kind of all but over but
6:59
as you reflect on the last
7:02
few months and some of these
7:04
ideas that I'm sharing I'm hoping that
7:06
a few pennies may be dropping for
7:09
you. If this is kind of
7:11
opening your eyes and you're thinking, oh
7:13
wow, I never thought of these
7:15
things, then, you know, it's still not
7:17
too late to take action on
7:19
some of these issues because Mars is
7:22
still going to be in cancer until
7:24
about April 17. So there's still
7:26
some time to work with
7:28
this. It might be opening
7:31
up, revealing something that you
7:33
keep really closed, really hidden
7:35
and really private. One of
7:37
the key factors with the
7:39
sign of cancer, I'm a
7:41
cancer, Yasmin's a cancer, we
7:43
actually share the same birthday,
7:45
is self- protection. We are
7:47
very self-preservation. And so sometimes
7:49
we do need to put
7:51
the walls up or harden
7:54
the exoskeleton. And then there's
7:56
other times where those
7:58
defense mechanisms provide the
8:00
fortress that stop us from
8:02
being able to move forward.
8:04
So there's something about this
8:06
process that we've just astrologically
8:09
been through that's going to
8:11
help us recognize some of
8:13
these blocks or barriers or
8:15
obstacles get rid of them
8:17
so we can prepare ourselves
8:20
for the many blessings of
8:22
Jupiter in cancer and that's
8:24
from June. If you have got
8:26
to this point in 2025
8:28
and just thinking it feels
8:30
like we're already been in 2025
8:33
for a year already, do take
8:35
some solace that there is a
8:37
method to this, that there is
8:40
this idea that we can't plant
8:42
beautiful rose gardens if the soil
8:44
is... lacking in nutrients if the
8:46
weeds are overgrown. And this is
8:49
what this Mars retrograde cycle has
8:51
done for us. It's helped us
8:53
recognize the weeds, the poor nutrients
8:55
in a particular area of life.
8:58
Tend to that, cut it away,
9:00
nurture it in the right ways,
9:02
defend and protect where need be.
9:04
So you can bring in these
9:07
big beautiful blessings come June. So
9:09
for some of us this might
9:11
be something to do with maybe
9:14
a career situation maybe you're tolerating
9:16
a career situation that's been very
9:18
difficult maybe it's a relationship maybe
9:21
it's a dynamic with a sibling
9:23
maybe it's your home environment it's
9:25
going to depend where cancer falls
9:28
in your birthshot and all of
9:30
us have cancer somewhere. So do
9:32
think about what has been the
9:35
most I'm not a fan of
9:37
this word but I'm going to
9:39
use it. The most triggering, what's
9:42
kind of brought up some of
9:44
your defense mechanisms, what's made you
9:46
feel really sensitive, or where have
9:48
you been pushed or probed or
9:51
prodded to let down your guard
9:53
in some way? Now that's the
9:55
area where some really big blessings
9:58
apply. Now it can feel... sometimes
10:00
like there is this concept
10:02
spiritually where in the process
10:05
of gain there has to
10:07
be loss. So there is
10:09
something here that we might
10:12
have to lose and that
10:14
might be not even literal
10:16
loss but the idea of
10:18
the attachment from the past
10:21
especially when it's cancer. It's
10:23
if you're holding onto a
10:25
painful memory. What is that
10:28
serving you? Let it go,
10:30
heal it, and then you
10:32
can create a beautiful new
10:34
container to put in more
10:36
blessings. come June. I could
10:39
talk about this whole spiritual
10:41
process for a really long
10:43
time, but I hope that's
10:45
helped you get a little
10:47
bit of a thumbnail look
10:49
at this really, really deep
10:51
cycle. Mars retrogrades in cancer
10:54
very, very rarely, and we
10:56
haven't had this since the
10:58
early 90s. So that's how
11:00
much of a potent cycle
11:03
this particular one has been.
11:05
Coming back to this week,
11:07
we do have a couple
11:09
of mercury aspects, or three
11:12
actually. Mercury will try Mars.
11:14
Mercury will conjoin Saturn and
11:16
then sextile Uranus. So just
11:18
as a background influence to
11:21
think about Mercury, Mercury is
11:23
our communication, our logistics, our
11:25
planning, our thinking, getting from
11:28
point A to point B
11:30
and things like that. It's
11:32
connecting to Mars, Saturn. and
11:34
Uranus. Now those are planets
11:37
that are not sunshine and roses
11:39
or you know here's all
11:41
the joy and benefits on
11:43
a silver platter. They are
11:45
planets that are a little
11:47
bit more fraught, a little
11:49
bit more difficult, and what I
11:51
often would describe as chewy. This
11:54
may mean that this week
11:56
some hard yet healing conversations
11:58
may be needed. to be hard.
12:01
So whatever you've been too afraid
12:03
to speak up, remember cancer where
12:05
Mars has been retrograde, cancer is
12:08
what we call a mute sign.
12:10
Have you ever tried to talk
12:12
underwater? No one can hear you,
12:15
right? No one can hear you.
12:17
They can't understand you. And water
12:19
is, it's like evocation, it's
12:22
emotion, it's feeling. And those
12:24
concepts can be not the
12:27
easiest things to articulate. So
12:29
hence mercury is coming along,
12:31
it's in Pisces, a sign
12:34
it doesn't articulate itself very
12:36
clearly with. So maybe there's
12:38
a conversation or a decision
12:41
you've been avoiding or being
12:43
mulling over. And that's what
12:46
water signs do. They pull
12:48
their energy inwards, they think
12:50
about how they feel before
12:52
they address something. maybe a
12:55
difficult conversation but could also
12:57
be very healing and beneficial
12:59
or maybe finally making a
13:02
hard choice or decision of
13:04
some type. Now the grand
13:06
finale of this week is blessed
13:09
with new beginnings and that's the
13:11
new moon in Pisces. This new
13:13
moon falls at nine degrees of
13:16
the sign of Pisces. So Pisces
13:18
again is a a water sign
13:20
as I mentioned and it's soft,
13:23
it's a little bit confusing, it's
13:25
about feeling our way into the
13:28
next four weeks. These lunations, these
13:30
new moons, set the tone for
13:32
the next four weeks and of
13:35
course we have that sort of
13:37
peak exclamation point with
13:40
the full moon. Now this particular
13:42
new moon is as I
13:44
said nine degrees of Pisces.
13:46
It also features satin in
13:49
Pisces, mercury in Pisces, the
13:51
North Node and Neptune in
13:53
Pisces. So this is a
13:55
massive Pisces puddle. So this
13:58
is going to be peak...
14:00
emotions, peak feeling, peak
14:02
compassion, and quite possibly
14:05
peak fatigue and tiredness
14:07
as well. So it's
14:09
not the most productive of
14:12
new moons. It's not
14:14
exactly writing our lists
14:16
out and getting things done.
14:18
It really is about feeling
14:21
and also remembering that
14:23
we are human beings.
14:25
not human doings. Now
14:27
from a technical perspective
14:29
the traditional ruling planet
14:31
of the new moon in
14:33
Pisces is Jupiter. Now Jupiter
14:36
is in Gemini at present
14:38
and it will be until
14:40
June but Jupiter falls at
14:43
12 degrees of Gemini which
14:45
is just three degrees. So it's a
14:47
very tight square to this new moon,
14:50
the angle that's taking place. So the
14:52
rule of the lunation can see the
14:54
lunation and it's a square. Squares
14:56
ask for adjustment. Squares ask for
14:59
that little spot that's, you know,
15:01
if you've been sitting in your
15:03
chair too long and you need
15:05
to kind of adjust your hips
15:07
or adjust your back or change
15:09
position. There's this idea of
15:11
compromise. There's this idea of having
15:13
to find a win-win solution. And
15:16
squares are generally considered not a
15:18
friendly aspect astrologically, but at least
15:20
when you can confront something or
15:23
someone, kind of head-on, when there
15:25
is a bit of conflict, if
15:27
there is a little bit of
15:29
tension, it can just provide just
15:32
that little bit of agitation to
15:34
get something moving or to get
15:36
something in... a new direction. So
15:39
what could we think about this
15:41
with this new moon in
15:43
Pisces ruled by Jupiter? Now
15:45
from my money Jupiter also
15:47
has not long come out
15:49
of a retrograde phase and
15:52
that happened in early February
15:54
and because Jupiter is one
15:56
of the bigger and slower
15:59
moving planets It's stationed direct
16:01
at 11 degrees of Gemini
16:03
and only just in the
16:06
last day or two it
16:08
finally moved to 12 degrees.
16:11
So this really, I see
16:13
this as Jupiter's moving on.
16:16
Jupiter has been backwards. It
16:18
went back to the drawing
16:21
board. It philosophies. It took
16:23
all the ideas, the concepts,
16:26
the conversation, the pieces of
16:28
the puzzle, Gemini, and found
16:31
a way to try and
16:33
make them cohesive and make
16:35
all those puzzle pieces fit.
16:37
Jupiter and now is moving
16:39
onwards. Now Jupiter is going
16:41
to start moving real fast,
16:43
basically for the rest of
16:45
this year. And so there is this,
16:47
I just get this feeling with
16:49
this new moon that we really
16:52
do get a beautiful kickstart now.
16:54
We will be in March by
16:56
Saturday as a part of this
16:59
reading. We will be in a
17:01
new month and a new moon.
17:03
with Jupiter onwards and upwards, the
17:06
ruler of this lunation. So I
17:08
do feel that this is a
17:10
really great time to, you know,
17:13
you might need to over stretch
17:15
a little bit or compromise on
17:17
what your feelings are. You
17:20
know, feelings are important,
17:22
they're valid, they're real,
17:24
but to what extent
17:26
does that... kind of define
17:28
your life. To what extent does
17:31
that define your entire philosophy, your
17:33
entire being? So there's this sort
17:35
of strange combination with Jupiter and
17:38
Gemini because there's the philosophy, there's
17:40
the spirituality, there's the wisdom, but
17:42
then there's also the data and
17:45
the facts and the hard truths
17:47
as well. So we're going to
17:49
have to find a little bit
17:52
of a balance here between facts.
17:54
feelings and also morality. Jupiter is
17:56
a big planet of what's
17:59
moral, what's what's ethical and
18:01
what's just. So we might see
18:03
some of those themes come to
18:05
the fore this week as well.
18:07
So sometimes on the personal, I
18:10
could sort of see this a
18:12
little bit as okay, maybe just
18:14
take a hit for the team,
18:16
like if it's a family situation
18:18
and there's some conflict. We could
18:21
sort of all struggle around our
18:23
feelings and battle around that with
18:25
the square and you sort of
18:28
butt heads and get nowhere or
18:30
we can compromise, adjust and look
18:32
to the bigger picture and what's
18:35
really important. Is it
18:37
how your husband stacks the dishwasher
18:39
or do you actually want the
18:41
intimacy and harmony at home? Like
18:44
that closeness and connection which is
18:46
what a new moon in Pisces
18:48
most certainly invites. So with that
18:51
said, I know here on
18:53
the Moonology podcast, we often
18:56
do a card reading for
18:58
these various astrological features. So
19:00
I have drawn one for
19:03
the new moon and it
19:05
is, let me see, it's
19:07
the five of pentacles. I
19:10
don't know if there's going
19:12
to be video for this.
19:14
podcast or if it's just
19:16
going to be an audio, but
19:19
I'm going to pop this on
19:21
the screen and you can always
19:23
Google the five of Pentacles if
19:25
you can't see it. But it's
19:27
a pretty sad looking card really.
19:30
We've got looks like it's snowing
19:32
and there's some kind of down
19:34
trodden, poor or homeless looking people
19:36
passing under a window that looks,
19:38
that represents wealth, that represents abundance
19:41
and represents... all of the things
19:43
that I'm sure these two people
19:45
out the front of this window
19:47
would like to have in their
19:49
lives. So I really do feel
19:51
that given the overarching vibe of
19:54
this week, it is a turnaround
19:56
point. If you have felt a
19:58
little hard done by this year.
20:00
If you've struggled, if you've
20:02
been trying to call in
20:05
that abundance, whether that is
20:07
cash, whether that is connection
20:09
with other people or opportunities
20:11
of various types, The sort
20:13
of laws of nature do tend
20:15
to sometimes say that oftentimes is
20:18
the breakdown is the breakthrough and
20:20
I feel that that's very much
20:22
the energy of this week but
20:24
with the new Moon Square Jupiter
20:26
we do have to sort of
20:29
faith until we make it we
20:31
do have to have faith despite
20:33
what our logical clarity might inform
20:35
us. So that's the gist of
20:38
this week. If you would like
20:40
to learn more about astrology, I
20:42
