This week I’m in London at the ReThink Mental Illness offices near Vauxhall. I should say, because of the proximity to Vauxhall, you’ll have to ignore the rumblings of the nearby trains through the show. My guest is Laurence Davies who is the Head of Training and Consultancy at ReThink, who along with his team, visit companies large and small to provide mental health training and workshops. We talk about the changes in attitude of mental health in work spaces over the years, the resistance he still finds and most importantly, Laurence is loaded with lots of useful information. If you’re a business owner, a manager, a member of HR, a team member who wants to support a colleague or an individual struggling with your mental health at work, this show is packed full of advice which I’m sure you’ll find hugely valuable.
This episode is sponsored by Mahabis, who produce footwear for time well spent. Underpinning their brand ethos is the core idea of ‘me time’ and the importance of self-care, all of which plays a key part in fostering and maintaining a healthy and positive sense of wellbeing. The show is produced in support of the Movember Foundation, a high-profile charity who are changing the face of men’s health on a global scale and who fund life-changing mental health projects around the world.
