0:47

Brad, how you doing today,

0:49

brother? Good, Mick. Thanks for having me.

0:51

Appreciate you. Man, thanks for coming on,

0:54

man. You know, like, I was telling

0:56

you about your book and we're going to

0:58

go into the book, man, but I just

1:00

wanted to thank you for writing it because...

1:03

It helps people like me,

1:05

like understand one, I don't know

1:07

everything, right? And two, you give

1:09

articulate, impactful, succinct advice

1:11

that people can and should

1:14

follow, man. So I just wanted to

1:16

say thank you for my soul for

1:18

that book. Well, you're welcome. Thank

1:20

you for reading it. And I told

1:22

you, I'm on time number two now,

1:24

right? I read it. Literally, the book

1:26

is so good. I read it in two

1:28

days. took a day off and went

1:30

back and started rereading it and I

1:33

have like highlights and notes and everything

1:35

in the book man but before we get

1:37

to the book brat your powerhouse right

1:39

what is your because that thing that's

1:41

deeper than your while like what makes

1:44

Brad tick what's the legacy you're trying

1:46

to leave behind brother you know that's

1:48

a great question I asked myself that

1:50

often you know ultimately I just I

1:53

just feel like God gave us potential

1:55

and it's our job to reach it

1:57

or at least try and so I

1:59

just try to outdo the day

2:01

before. That I love, man. That I

2:03

love. So let's talk about your

2:06

journey, man. A lot of people

2:08

may not know this, but at

2:10

16, Brad dropped out of school,

2:12

right? Gonna move to Hollywood and

2:15

become an actor. Gonna do all

2:17

those things, and then your life

2:19

changed a little bit, man. So

2:21

what was that like saying, I'm

2:24

gonna not just take an opportunity? but

2:26

in my words be an opportunity for

2:28

myself like where did that kick off

2:30

for you? Well when I got kicked

2:32

out of my house at 16 years

2:34

old for not mowing the lawn you

2:36

know I was kind of excited out

2:38

on my own no real parental supervision

2:40

and just thought to myself you know

2:42

A I wanted to be a movie

2:44

star since I was a little kid

2:47

so I figured I'd probably just shoot

2:49

down to Hollywood and see what I

2:51

could do and ultimately you know found

2:53

myself homeless on a beach and didn't

2:55

want to pay the price to stay

2:57

there. So I realized there's something called

2:59

nepotism, which is basically when someone else

3:01

gets your part or whatnot. Back then

3:03

again, I didn't have the same mindset

3:06

as I do today, but ultimately I

3:08

thought, man, I'm going to go get

3:10

rich so I can make the movie

3:12

and I can decide who's who in

3:14

it. And I just didn't realize it

3:16

would take 30 years. I figured I'd

3:18

be able to do it in a

3:21

couple beyond back and, you know, that didn't

3:23

happen too well. But I learned a lot.

3:25

And, you know, ultimately, I

3:27

think getting kicked out of

3:29

the house was in retrospect

3:31

kind of a blessing. Yeah. So you

3:34

didn't want to mow the lawn, huh?

3:36

Like, that was it. You were

3:38

just like, I'm done. Well, I

3:40

just forgot, really. I mean, you

3:42

know, I didn't really have much,

3:44

much, uh, discipline or integrity back

3:46

then. You know, I was always

3:48

trying to get away with stuff

3:51

and, you know, escape responsibility,

3:54

etc. And I didn't appreciate having

3:56

a roof over my head. Kids

3:58

will be kids, right? That's it.

4:00

That's it. One of my favorite quotes

4:02

by you, Brad, is knowledge isn't

4:04

power. Applied knowledge is. Tell the

4:06

people about that, man, because to

4:08

me, as you started learning, not

4:10

just about yourself, but how industries

4:12

worked and how people work, you

4:14

didn't just keep it here. A

4:16

lot of people talk about mindset,

4:18

mindset, mindset. That's great. But at

4:20

some point, you have to apply

4:22

the things that you feel like

4:24

you've learned. Like what was that

4:26

like for you, and then how

4:28

do you impart that in part

4:30

that in others? Well, believe it

4:32

or not, mindset is key, and

4:35

it is part of taking action,

4:37

right? With the right mindset, you

4:39

will take action. A lot of

4:41

people don't have the confidence. They

4:43

subconsciously don't believe they're worth any

4:45

more than they have, so they'll

4:47

make choices that are not ideal,

4:49

and they'll just keep themselves down.

4:51

But I mean, I believe knowledge

4:53

is power. Applied knowledge is where

4:55

the, you know, rubber meets the

4:57

road, but you got to understand

4:59

if you have the right knowledge,

5:01

you already know to take action.

5:03

So I preach three things. You

5:05

know, first one's mindset. Everyone says

5:07

mindset, but I really believe it.

5:09

And I'm talking about from a

5:11

vibrational energy level. Correct. Then there's

5:13

skill set. And then there's habits.

5:15

The mindset, most people never get

5:17

to a point where they will

5:19

fully understand. that ultimately everything's a

5:21

choice. Everything. I mean if you

5:23

think about it, when you wake

5:25

up in the morning, right, you

5:27

have a choice to operate in

5:29

what I call a heavenly frequency

5:31

or operate in what I call

5:33

earthly frequency. Now, we're all vibrating

5:36

in a frequency. So the heavenly

5:38

frequencies or the heavenly energy as

5:40

I call it. Are all the

5:42

good things you would assume? You

5:44

know, courage, confidence, abundance, happiness, joy,

5:46

love, courage, all the things that

5:48

you can imagine? Yeah. Okay? And

5:50

then the earthly is the doubt,

5:52

the guilt, the shame, the anxiety.

5:54

the worry, the worry, the greed,

5:56

the envy, things of that nature.

5:58

And we literally have a choice

6:00

to operate by either one. And

6:02

we were given free will. And

6:04

with that free will comes a

6:06

choice. So we literally have a

6:08

choice to operate in the heavenly

6:10

energy or the earthly energy. And

6:12

unfortunately most people are unaware that

6:14

those exist. And to me, it's

6:16

like a no-brainer. I mean, what

6:18

you see becomes your frequency. And

6:20

if you operate in a frequency,

6:22

more of those frequencies will come

6:24

to you. In other words, it's

6:26

almost like it attracts more to

6:28

be in that frequency about. So

6:30

if I'm negative, that will attract

6:32

more things to be negative about.

6:34

And the opposite is true. If

6:36

I'm positive. it'll attract more things

6:39

to be positive about. So from

6:41

the second I wake up I

6:43

understand that there's simply a choice

6:45

to make and you can choose

6:47

to operate in your heavenly energy

6:49

or your earthly energy and that's

6:51

all mindset. It's a perspective. And

6:53

what I try to do is

6:55

just shift people's perspective by a

6:57

little bit because believe it or

6:59

not it makes a big difference.

7:01

Although action is required, I teach

7:03

that too, but I think mindset's

7:05

the most important and that's why

7:07

people don't take action. They don't

7:09

have the confidence. They're attracting negative

7:11

energy. They're allowing negative people to

7:13

be around them and it costs

7:15

them dearly. I don't think most

7:17

people realize that. No, totally agree,

7:19

man. And again, there's some fundamental

7:21

things that you have in the

7:23

book, lessons I've learned the hard

7:25

way so you don't have to,

7:27

right? Like I want to go

7:29

there because... My favorite chapter, and

7:31

I told you I've been rereading

7:33

this, is chapter three, right? And

7:35

in chapter three, you go into

7:37

some really big things and I

7:40

have these written down so that

7:42

I don't mess them up. You've

7:44

got your sacred six. Right? Freaking

7:46

love the Sacred Six. My favorite

7:48

too, because there are things that

7:50

I also talk about, and I'm

7:52

gonna start with the first one.

7:54

You've got to rack up some

7:56

wins. And for me, I have

7:58

the same, Brad. You can't be

8:00

a winner, or you can't be

8:02

a winning person, until you first

8:04

learn how to win one time.

8:06

And then with you, with the

8:08

consistency and the habits, then you

8:10

can build a winning philosophy and

8:12

become a winner. Talked us about

8:14

racking up wins, man, and that

8:16

philosophy behind that. Well, I mean,

8:18

winners win and losers lose. So

8:20

if you find yourself losing all

8:22

day long, you know, it's hard

8:24

to feel like a winner. And

8:26

the Sacred Six is really how

8:28

to build your confidence. And the

8:30

racking up the wins is simply

8:32

a matter of deciding, because again,

8:34

who gets to choose what a

8:36

win is? Nope. You do. So

8:38

a lot of people are like,

8:40

I'm going to make a million

8:43

dollars and they don't. And so

8:45

that's a loss. And all day

8:47

long, they're technically losing, even though

8:49

someone could say, well, that's pretty

8:51

good. I don't know if you've

8:53

ever played sports, but trust me,

8:55

an L's and L. Right. So

8:57

all people have to do, believe

8:59

it or not, is lower their

9:01

idea of what a win is.

9:03

My win is raising my heart

9:05

rate and exercising. I got winds

9:07

happening all throughout the day from

9:09

the second I wake up. The

9:11

first and most important win of

9:13

all is just gratitude. That's not

9:15

choosing that energy. Gratitude is in

9:17

the heavenly energy. I wake up

9:19

and I realize there's no amount

9:21

of money that would be worth

9:23

me not waking up. So when

9:25

I wake up, no matter what

9:27

else happens, I want. So literally

9:29

my mind goes to a win

9:31

the second I wake up, I

9:33

start getting excited, enthusiastic, enthusiastic, why?

9:35

Because again, I chose heavenly energy.

9:37

I chose to be grateful. Nothing

9:39

needs to happen. I don't need

9:41

anything else to happen. So that's

9:43

a win. Then I jump out

9:46

of bed enthusiastically and I go

9:48

hit the gym, get the heart

9:50

rate going. Why? Because I'm going

9:52

to be bombarded with negativity all

9:54

day long. I might as well,

9:56

you know, beef up the shields.

9:58

So then I hydrate. I drink

10:00

the water. Then I obviously go

10:02

to work and do all that.

10:04

But before I leave the house,

10:06

I wake up with extreme gratitude.

10:08

I work out. I focus on

10:10

relationships because that's what's key. Then

10:12

I focus on reading my brain.

10:14

And then I focus on some

10:16

money, because money's also important. Back

10:18

to the rack and up the

10:20

wins. It's pretty simple. People in

10:22

order to get confident need to

10:24

feel like a winner. And confidence

10:26

is really just the memory of

10:28

winning. So if you can just

10:30

lower what you consider a win,

10:32

most people won't tell you that.

10:34

They'll tell you to stretch your

10:36

goals and set high standards and

10:38

all this. Yeah, you can do

10:40

that also. But I'm talking about

10:42

on a daily basis. Start celebrating

10:44

the little things that most people

10:47

take for granted. and you will

10:49

literally start walking a little taller,

10:51

you'll start feeling a little bit

10:53

better about yourself. But then number

10:55

four is get rid of the

10:57

negativity. As soon as you start

10:59

to feel better about yourself, bro,

11:01

everybody in their dog is gonna

11:03

start saying, I don't like the

11:05

new you. You know, what are

11:07

you trying to do this and

11:09

that? So all six of those

11:11

are important. Just racking up the

11:13

winds won't do it. You got

11:15

it, number one, forgive yourself. Wipe

11:17

the slate clean. Okay, number two,

11:19

you have to commit to do

11:21

what you say you're gonna do.

11:23

That's very important. Number three, start

11:25

racking up the winds on a

11:27

daily basis. Just celebrate little things

11:29

all day long. Can you make

11:31

one more call? Can you walk

11:33

one more minute? Brush your teeth,

11:35

like little things are wins to

11:37

me. So I'm winning all day

11:39

long. By the time I get

11:41

to my office, buddy, I've been

11:43

winning all morning. I'm walking in

11:45

like I own the place and

11:47

rolling out like I sold it.

11:50

Extremely excited. Number four, I eliminate

11:52

all the negativity, the headlines, the

11:54

hate, the nonsense. Then I map

11:56

out and visualize exactly what success

11:58

looks like so I know whether

12:00

it moves me towards or away

12:02

because when it boils down to it,

12:04

Mike, it's all about choices. The choices

12:06

you make determine the roads you

12:08

take. Talk about heavenly energy and

12:10

earthly energy, that's just one choice.

12:12

You have choices all throughout the

12:14

day that most people are just

12:16

bad at making decisions. So what

12:18

I do is I map out

12:20

and visualize exactly what success looks

12:22

like and I know specifically what

12:24

I want. And then ultimately every

12:26

choice I make, I ask myself.

12:28

Does that move me towards or away?

12:30

So I mean I can drink water or

12:32

I can drink beer. I can

12:34

fricking, you know, work or I

12:37

can rest, you know, but ultimately

12:39

does that move me towards my

12:41

goal or away from my goal?

12:43

So it's all about choices. And

12:46

then number six, man, I seek

12:48

information on a regular basis. I

12:50

get smarter every single day. I

12:52

get more aware, more enlightened, more

12:55

kind, more ethical. every single day

12:57

because I'm seeking information and

12:59

most people don't understand what

13:01

that does. The reason you do what you

13:03

do is because you believe what you believe.

13:06

So in order to change your

13:08

beliefs you literally have to get

13:10

new information because if you got

13:12

no new information your beliefs would

13:14

remain the same and so would

13:16

your actions and choices. So I'm

13:18

constantly seeking information on a

13:20

regular basis which gets me you know

13:22

more aware, more intelligent, more valuable. And

13:24

so again, that just goes with

13:26

that confidence. And pretty soon you're

13:29

walking around like a freaking champ.

13:31

Dude, I so believe all of

13:33

that. When we talk about racking

13:35

up winds, you know, I talk

13:37

to leaders about that, especially high

13:39

power CEOs, where if you don't

13:41

celebrate small wins for your team,

13:43

you're gonna have less people than

13:45

you thought that are bought in.

13:47

Like somebody might physically be on

13:49

your team, but mentally they're never

13:51

there. you're pushing them and not

13:53

celebrating the small things for them.

13:55

So one of my first key ingredients for

13:57

any culture that I go into and

13:59

and we talk about changing culture is,

14:02

tell me about the winds that

14:04

you celebrate. And in the first

14:06

thing, most people talk to me

14:08

about are big projects that they

14:10

had, I'm like, no, no, no,

14:12

no, that's a project. Like, you

14:14

should get that done. Did you

14:16

celebrate winds along the way? Because

14:18

if you don't, if you didn't,

14:20

your team is just gonna think

14:22

that that's how you're wired, and

14:24

maybe you are, but everyone's not

14:26

wired like you. And so that's

14:28

why I appreciated that. part of

14:30

that chapter and everybody who doesn't

14:32

know Brad I mean most people

14:34

already know Brad but he shoots

14:36

from the hip right like he's

14:38

a straight shooter get rid of

14:40

the idiots bro get rid of

14:42

the idiot I so connected with

14:44

that because I go through this

14:46

exercise twice a year where I

14:48

literally evaluate my circle and I

14:50

changed that I'm not evaluating my

14:52

circle anymore I'm just getting rid

14:54

of idiots man because it's so

14:56

right and sometimes idiots or entities

14:58

not just people So I'd love

15:00

for you to elaborate about that

15:02

a little bit too, bro. Sometimes

15:04

it's also environments. Right. You know,

15:06

one time I was using ChatGPT

15:08

and I put in there, if

15:10

you were Satan, how would you

15:12

stop a man for being successful?

15:14

He gave me 10 things that

15:16

he would do, one of which

15:18

is surround you with negative influence,

15:20

environments. And when you go through

15:22

all 10, you realize that that's

15:24

the recipe for failure. So the

15:26

opposite must be true as well.

15:28

Number one, these almost gave me

15:30

the chills when I read them

15:32

because I've heard them a million

15:34

times. So I said, what would

15:36

you do to keep someone from

15:38

being successful? He said, first of

15:40

all, I don't know why I'm

15:42

drawing a blank all of a

15:45

sudden. My phone just dung and

15:47

I turned it off. Now I'm

15:49

all brain dead for a minute.

15:51

But the... Fourth one was victim

15:53

mentality. The third one was surround

15:55

you with negative people. So the

15:57

first one was I would basically

15:59

plant fear and doubt into your

16:01

mind. I'd whisper things like it's

16:03

too risky, you're not good enough,

16:05

etc. Number two, I would give

16:07

you, I would distract you with

16:09

instant gratification. Number three, I would

16:11

surround you with negative people and

16:13

environments, influences. Number four, I would

16:15

give you victim mentality. Number five,

16:17

I would make sure you remained

16:19

comfortable. Number six, I would make

16:21

you think that you had to

16:23

plan everything. Number seven, I would

16:25

erode your confidence. Number eight, I

16:27

would make you focus externally instead

16:29

of internally. Number nine, I would

16:31

give you bad habits especially health.

16:33

And number 10, I would remove

16:35

your sense of urgency. And then

16:37

I wouldn't have to touch you

16:39

at all because you'd sabotage your

16:41

own success. And if you think

16:43

about that, it's like, wait a

16:45

minute, I've done that a million

16:47

times. Now I'm thinking, man, was

16:49

that influenced? So what do you

16:51

do if you want to win?

16:53

Well, I would say reverse those

16:55

things. Get a sense of urgency.

16:57

Start implementing good habits. That's why

16:59

I'm so big on habits. I

17:01

mean, the habits in your life

17:03

will literally determine the quality of

17:05

it. So extremely good habits, especially

17:07

health. I would focus inward instead

17:09

of externally. I would build my

17:11

confidence with the Sacred Six, not

17:13

allow it to be eroded. If

17:15

you just reverse every single one

17:17

of those, that's the map. That's

17:19

the path you want to take.

17:21

Man, I'm amazed that you had

17:23

the insight to go to chat

17:25

GPT to do that and then

17:27

knowing Bradley obviously say okay The

17:29

opposite then must be true as

17:31

well, right? Well, sure like that

17:33

is freaking fire dude Yeah, I

17:35

mean, I mean if you think

17:37

about what he said fill your

17:39

mind with doubt and fear whisper

17:41

things to you like again a

17:43

lot of people think that it's

17:45

going to be yelling at your

17:47

it'll be evil sometimes man listen

17:49

You've worked hard, take it easy,

17:51

you deserve a day off, go

17:53

ahead and eat the donut bro,

17:55

it doesn't matter if they don't

17:57

like you a little out of

17:59

shape, then they're... probably not your

18:01

friend anyway. Like all the things

18:03

we've told ourselves to procrastinate to

18:06

do these things, but fill your

18:08

mind with doubt and fear. Give

18:10

you instant or distract you with

18:12

instant gratification. Everybody wants everything immediately

18:14

even though we know things take

18:16

time. Okay, surround yourself with negative

18:18

people. Why are you allowing all

18:20

of the negative influences in your

18:22

life? They constantly will change your

18:24

energy. Negative energy is powerful. You

18:26

can choose positive energy and hang

18:28

around negative people and pretty soon

18:30

you're going to get negative. The

18:32

reason why is because what you

18:34

frequently see becomes your frequency and

18:36

that's your vibration. So I mean

18:38

they've talked to water and studied

18:40

it at a microscopic level and

18:42

positive words make these beautiful... cellular

18:44

structures and negative words would make

18:46

it bad and almost deformed. So

18:48

there is 1,000% scientific evidence that

18:50

words matter. So the words you

18:52

tell yourself, the words you allow

18:54

other people to say around you,

18:56

it's all affecting you. And then

18:58

people can't figure out why they

19:00

can't win or why they can't

19:02

break out of the rat race.

19:04

And it's not that difficult to

19:06

do. You focus on your mindset,

19:08

then you focus on your skill

19:10

set, then you focus on your

19:12

habits. The mindset has to be

19:14

powerful and it's a constant battle.

19:16

Then once you get the right

19:18

mindset, you're able to start really

19:20

getting your skill sets down. The

19:22

reason why it's hard to get

19:24

your skills to the level they

19:26

need to be without the right

19:28

mindset is because it's difficult, man.

19:30

You need grit and discipline, they

19:32

call it. When in reality, it

19:34

just takes... time and practice and

19:36

hard work. So if you want

19:38

to be really good at something,

19:40

well then it takes a little

19:42

bit of time so that instant

19:44

gratification kicks you out of the

19:46

race. So if you think about

19:48

it, I want to be good

19:50

at sales. I want to be

19:52

good at communication. I want to

19:54

be good at marketing. I want

19:56

to be good at personal branding

19:58

and I want to be good

20:00

at building and nurturing. relationships. Those

20:02

five skill sets will put anybody

20:04

in a position to win. But

20:06

you have to be good at

20:08

them and you have to study

20:10

them and you have to like

20:12

practice and drill and rehearse. If

20:14

you don't have the right mindset,

20:16

they start deteriorating or you don't

20:18

get to the level and then

20:20

you get victim mentality. Someone else's

20:22

fault. It's not my problem. I

20:25

couldn't do it because of this

20:27

guy or that or that reason.

20:29

That's a victim mentality. So if

20:31

you start going through what you

20:33

do, everybody, a lot of people

20:35

do, you start to realize those

20:37

are the same 10 things, man.

20:39

Those are the same 10 things

20:41

that he was talking about. So

20:43

what I would suggest, any listener,

20:45

if you guys go to ChatGPT

20:47

and Google it yourself, some people

20:49

told me, well, that came from

20:51

out winning the devil. You know,

20:53

I read that book once, but

20:55

I don't remember it saying those

20:57

10 things, but maybe it summarized

20:59

him. I don't know, but what

21:01

I do know. If you would

21:03

reverse those, get a sense of

21:05

urgency, get good habits, focus internally,

21:07

that's where the answers are, build

21:09

your confidence, take action, quit worrying

21:11

about endless planning, get uncomfortable, get

21:13

rid of your victim mentality, get

21:15

rid of all your negative circumstances

21:17

and people around you, get rid

21:19

of the instant gratification, and that

21:21

will eliminate a lot of the

21:23

doubt and fear that most people

21:25

have, which paralyze them into not

21:27

taking action. Amen to that, dude.

21:29

Amen to that. And, you know,

21:31

the last thing that you were

21:33

just talking about, you referenced it

21:35

earlier, too, is relationships, right? And

21:37

in chapter seven of this book,

21:39

Bradley says relationships are the new

21:41

currency. And I wholeheartedly believe it,

21:43

right? Because relationships, I met you

21:45

through Damon John and Chauncey and

21:47

those guys. And so for me,

21:49

the relationships that you value, the

21:51

relationships that you build are... not

21:53

things that get you to the

21:55

seat at the table, but it's

21:57

like if you don't value relationships

21:59

and really value them? Then what

22:01

do you have? Right? Like what do

22:04

you really have? Well if you

22:06

think about it like this, when

22:08

you're born you require relationships

22:11

or you die. Yeah. And when you're

22:14

dying you desire relationships

22:16

over everything. So why in the

22:19

middle do we forget how

22:21

important they are? Yeah. They're

22:23

absolutely required for

22:25

survival when we're born.

22:28

And then when we die, nobody

22:30

wants to check their bank accounts

22:32

and look at their trophy case

22:34

and talk about their businesses. They

22:36

want their loved ones. They want

22:38

to be surrounded by the people

22:40

that they care about. So relationships

22:43

are vital in the beginning and vital

22:45

at the end. Why do we

22:47

forget in the middle how important

22:49

they are? Not to mention, the

22:51

more hands you shake, the more

22:54

money you make, period. Your relationships

22:56

are your resources. don't have the

22:58

right relationships, it's going to be

23:00

harder to get where you're going.

23:02

So you have to reach out

23:04

and introduce yourself and start building

23:07

those relationships and nurturing those relationships.

23:09

And it takes, you know, time,

23:11

number one, it also takes effort,

23:13

right? One of the, I call it the

23:16

million dollar morning because I wake up with

23:18

extreme gratitude, then I focus on

23:20

those four things. My health, my relationships,

23:22

my fitness. my health, my relationships,

23:25

my money, and my mind. To

23:27

me, it's like, people like, how do

23:29

you do that? Well, I just text five

23:31

people every day and give them some good

23:33

news, you know, tell them I love

23:35

them, tell them I miss them, tell

23:37

them I appreciate them, whatever the case

23:39

may be, with nothing expected in return.

23:41

And if people would just start doing

23:44

that, they start to realize that

23:46

these relationships are crucial to your

23:48

success. I mean, I have people that call

23:50

me when they need something when they

23:53

need something. I don't want to be

23:55

one of those guys. Everybody knows somebody

23:57

that only calls when they need something

23:59

and it's... It's not even intentional. I

24:01

mean, I didn't call my buddy

24:03

for a long time. I forgot

24:05

all about him. And then I

24:07

needed to move and he had

24:09

a truck. And I'm like, oh

24:11

yeah, he's got a truck. Let

24:13

me call him. So I call

24:15

him and it's like, what a

24:17

dick. I haven't even said a

24:19

word to him in six months,

24:21

the second I need him, boom,

24:24

call him. Why didn't I reach

24:26

out and see if I could

24:28

help him five 10 times? It

24:30

might be the wrong relationships. So

24:32

at the end of the day,

24:34

man, relationships are vital to everybody's

24:36

success. If you want to be

24:38

truly successful in life, I'm telling

24:40

you, relationships. And by the way,

24:42

that's where the money comes from.

24:44

Like some people, I just want

24:46

to get rich. You know, listen,

24:48

money comes from relationships. Every dollar

24:50

I've ever received or will ever

24:52

receive. comes from some kind of

24:54

relationship. So the more relationships you

24:56

have, the more opportunities you have,

24:58

the more resources you have, and

25:00

coincidentally, when you die, that's what's

25:02

going to be important. So don't

25:04

wait until you're on your deathbed

25:06

to realize that that's what's most

25:08

important. I say relationships over money

25:10

because if you value money over

25:12

relationships, soon you'll have neither. That

25:14

is powerful. That is powerful. Soon

25:16

you'll have neither. And you know,

25:18

when we talk about sales, right,

25:20

Bradley, these are the opinions of

25:22

Mick and Mick only, is the

25:24

best. I don't know if you

25:26

want to call it sales coach.

25:28

I'm going to say sales authority.

25:31

There is no person that I

25:33

would take advice from if I

25:35

didn't talk to Bradley first when

25:37

it comes to sales. And I

25:39

know you talk about relationships and

25:41

sales. Well there's two things that

25:43

I took from you years ago

25:45

when you're talking about cells. One

25:47

is being intentional and the second

25:49

is being freaking prepared and I

25:51

think cells people miss that more

25:53

than anything and in your book

25:55

chapter 7 you talk about the

25:57

preparedness of cells and how if

25:59

you have to stumble on a

26:01

question that you're asked in a

26:03

sales proposal or along the sales

26:05

process you've messed up because you're

26:07

not prepared. Where did you get

26:09

that ingredient? Because it's obviously it's

26:11

true, right? I took that from

26:13

Bradley, but why do people miss

26:15

that in sales, the preparedness? It

26:17

blows my mind what people miss,

26:19

but I think preparation is key

26:21

to a lot of things, not

26:23

just sales, but definitely in sales.

26:25

I mean, sales is a relationship

26:27

game, really. At the end of

26:29

the day, you're trying to build

26:31

trust, and if you want to

26:33

make a transaction, all you have

26:35

to do is raise the value

26:37

of your product or service beyond

26:40

the value of their money. Well,

26:42

if you don't have a good

26:44

relationship, there's no trust, it's hard

26:46

to do. I always teach people

26:48

when it comes to sales. If

26:50

you truly want to be really

26:52

good at sales, stop selling. I

26:54

mean, I don't sell anybody anything.

26:56

I help people. That's what I'm

26:58

focused on. I'm focused on helping

27:00

the individual solve a problem. I'm

27:02

not focused on the commission. I

27:04

know that'll come if and when

27:06

I can help somebody. So my

27:08

energy is different. So when I

27:10

approach somebody, I don't have that...

27:12

energy that some people sense and

27:14

feel the distrust. Why? Well, because

27:16

I'm not trying to sell you

27:18

anything. I'm trying to help. And

27:20

if I can't help you, believe

27:22

me, I'm not going to take

27:24

your money even if you offered

27:26

it. At the end of the

27:28

day, I have to believe that

27:30

I'm helping you. And that's my

27:32

intention. And so my energy is

27:34

different from the get-go, and it

27:36

allows me to connect better. It

27:38

allows people to build trust quicker.

27:40

And if you just stay with

27:42

that intention, let me just help

27:44

this person. There's too many sales

27:47

people out there. They're trying to

27:49

make a commission. I mean, let's

27:51

just tell the truth. They're trying

27:53

to get paid. They're trying to

27:55

feed their family. They're trying to...

27:57

cars and pay bills. Their intention

27:59

is to make money. That's the

28:01

wrong intention to start with. It's

28:03

all about energy and connection and

28:05

relationships. So just shift the energy

28:07

over to one of empathy. You

28:09

know, that's to me the number

28:11

one trait I think for good

28:13

sales people is empathy. I believe

28:15

I'm an empath. I can. I

28:17

can read people's micro expressions. I

28:19

don't even know how sometimes. And

28:21

they're like, you know, how did

28:23

you know that? It's just empathy,

28:25

right? I can put myself in

28:27

their position. And all I want

28:29

to do is help them solve

28:31

their problem. And coincidentally, that's what

28:33

at the end of the day,

28:35

I think makes me successful in

28:37

sales. So if anybody's in sales

28:39

listening to this, it might sound

28:41

counterintuitive, but I would say stop

28:43

selling. and just look to help

28:45

and if you think your product

28:47

doesn't help anyone that's probably your

28:49

issue. You need to go represent

28:51

someone or something that you believe

28:53

actually helps because if it doesn't

28:56

help anybody and you're just focused

28:58

on a commission you're gonna have

29:00

a much harder battle. Totally agree

29:02

and so speaking of products man

29:04

let's go straight to light speed

29:06

VT. I know what it does

29:08

I know what it is you

29:10

know I was talking to Damon

29:12

eight months ago and he was

29:14

he was saying, hey, if you

29:16

have courses, you need to reach

29:18

out to Bradley. And I was

29:20

like, amazingly enough, I was going

29:22

to, right? Because Light Speed BT,

29:24

if you have a course, this

29:26

isn't a pitch, obviously, but if

29:28

you have a course and you're

29:30

not using Light Speed, you're missing

29:32

it because it was built by

29:34

a person whose singular focus was

29:36

to help people in that space.

29:38

And so I love for you

29:40

to tell, you know, what made

29:42

you create it? What's the two

29:44

biggest problems that light speed solves

29:46

or solutions that it provides for

29:48

people in courses themselves? Well, one

29:50

story answers both those questions. You

29:52

know, when I stop. being the

29:54

way I used to be which

29:56

was selfish and out for myself

29:58

and I was pretty good at

30:00

sales with that intention in other

30:03

words I was just trying to

30:05

get paid so I helped somebody

30:07

that was making minimum wage and

30:09

I watched how it impacted his

30:11

family and I thought to myself

30:13

man that that feels good I

30:15

want to go help other people

30:17

learn to make more money because

30:19

I think money makes a big

30:21

difference to someone's life but So

30:23

I quit my job to go

30:25

out and start training people like

30:27

I used to because I used

30:29

to be able to pull them

30:31

out of Burger King Landscaping jobs

30:33

and turn them into bad asses

30:35

relatively easily. And so I quit

30:37

my job thinking that I had

30:39

it all figured out when I

30:41

ran out into the world and

30:43

started training people. It wasn't working

30:45

as well and I couldn't figure

30:47

out why. So I went back

30:49

and I kind of just thought

30:51

about what I used to do

30:53

and I realized that there's four

30:55

things. that are required to actually

30:57

train people in its good content,

30:59

right? The right way to do

31:01

it in the first place. Then

31:03

there's repetition, practice, and accountability. And

31:05

without, like, watching a video doesn't

31:07

train you, otherwise I'd be a

31:09

mixed martial artist because I watch

31:12

UFC every weekend. So, so watching

31:14

a video isn't it. What Light

31:16

Speed does is it delivers good

31:18

content with repetition, practice and accountability.

31:20

And most learning systems or online

31:22

training that's out there is just

31:24

a video. And just a video

31:26

doesn't work. You need good content,

31:28

repetition, practice, and accountability. So the

31:30

system was built for those things.

31:32

And then because I ask questions

31:34

in real life, it needed to

31:36

be interactive. And the interactivity allows

31:38

me to ask questions and respond

31:40

accordingly. Most linear videos don't do

31:42

that. So when it comes to

31:44

somebody that's selling something, we can

31:46

leverage interactivity to ask questions and

31:48

make offers within the course itself.

31:50

Other people that aren't on light

31:52

speed, they don't get to ask

31:54

questions and they don't get to

31:56

make offers within the video. itself,

31:58

so what do they do? Well

32:00

they sell you or give you

32:02

a video and then they follow

32:04

up and email and they call

32:06

you and they text you and

32:08

they try to sell you something

32:10

after the fact. When in reality

32:12

if they were smarter they would

32:14

have embedded questions in the

32:17

content itself that led to

32:19

solutions to your problems. So

32:21

if I were to ask you in your

32:23

course, for example, so how's your credit and

32:26

your credit's bad? And I'm teaching you how

32:28

to buy real estate. Well, if your credit's

32:30

bad, wouldn't it help them to fix their

32:32

credit? So if I knew you had bad credit,

32:34

I could offer you credit, credit, credit

32:37

clearing as an example. And the list

32:39

goes on and on. I mean, there's medicines

32:41

that help many things, but people buy

32:43

them for different reasons. So if you

32:45

wanted to ask, you know, what symptoms

32:47

are you having. Oh, well then this will

32:49

help for that. So the interactivity

32:52

is crucial. I can take somebody's

32:54

video course, they call them courses,

32:56

they're just videos. I can take

32:58

in someone's video, put it on light

33:00

speed, embed interactivity, and

33:03

get more conversion, higher

33:05

satisfaction, higher engagement, higher

33:07

comprehension, just because of the interactivity.

33:10

And then ultimately with the repetition

33:12

and the tracking and the practicing

33:14

that's within it. You learn and

33:17

you actually. make a difference. Because

33:19

again, information alone, as you know,

33:21

I believe, is not going to

33:23

do anything. You have to have

33:25

the information and then apply it. And

33:27

these courses that are out in

33:29

the world are usually just videos

33:31

behind a paywall. So you pay your

33:33

money and there's a video. And some

33:36

people can learn from them because they

33:38

voluntarily go through it multiple times. Like

33:40

you're on my book twice. I guarantee

33:43

you, if you read that book 10

33:45

times, you'll know it better than you

33:47

do right now. Right. Okay, so if

33:49

someone that read it wants, yeah, I

33:51

read your book. Okay, again, read it

33:53

again, and again, and again, who wants

33:55

to go to a church from a

33:57

pastor that read the Bible wants?

34:00

Repetition is the mother of learning.

34:02

Yes, sir. Ladies and gentlemen, that's

34:04

why I love Brad Lee. He's

34:06

always gonna give it to you

34:08

straight, no chase. Brad, anything you

34:10

wanna leave the listeners and viewers

34:13

with, if you could give one

34:15

tip today, what would that tip

34:17

be? It would be basically, it

34:19

boils down to choices, folks. I

34:21

mean, look at the choices that

34:24

you're making from the second you

34:26

wake up, because the choices that

34:28

you make determine the roads you

34:30

take. And it really starts with

34:32

choosing which energy you want to

34:35

operate in. You can operate in

34:37

heavenly energy, and no one can

34:39

stop you from doing that, and

34:41

you can operate in earthly energy.

34:43

And there's too many people stuck

34:46

in the earthly energy. And again,

34:48

when you realize that God gave

34:50

us free will, that's the gift.

34:52

I mean, when people say, you

34:54

know, everybody got a gift, you

34:56

know, we've got lots of gifts,

34:59

but the main gift. The biggest

35:01

gift that we were given is

35:03

free will, which means the ability

35:05

to choose. And most people don't

35:07

understand that like if I busted

35:10

in your house and said some

35:12

rude stuff and left and a

35:14

jury even agreed that it was

35:16

rude and you got mad about

35:18

it. Use that as an example.

35:21

Who got you mad? Was it

35:23

me busting in your house saying

35:25

rude stuff or was it you?

35:28

Because people don't look at it.

35:30

Well, he busted in that. That's

35:32

victim mentality. I understand it was

35:34

rude. I understand. I invaded your

35:37

privacy. I understand all that. But

35:39

at the end of the day,

35:41

let's just tell the truth, man.

35:44

Who decided to get mad? Was

35:46

it me that got you mad?

35:48

And the answer is you got

35:50

yourself mad. You decided to choose

35:53

anger. You decided to choose earthly

35:55

energy. And the energy that you

35:57

choose will create. more of it.

35:59

So if you know this and

36:02

now you do stop choosing earthly

36:04

energy and start choosing heavenly energy,

36:06

it's just a choice and yours

36:08

is the power is yours to

36:11

make it. So that's what I

36:13

would leave people with. I mean

36:15

it sounds crazy but it's true.

36:18

You have the choice to react

36:20

to anything that happens to you

36:22

with a heavenly energy. or an

36:24

earthly energy. And if anyone was

36:27

just blindly listening to me, I

36:29

would stop choosing earthly energy. All

36:31

you have to do is stop

36:33

choosing earthly energy. Well, it's not

36:36

as easy as that. Victim mentality.

36:38

Well, it takes you on instant

36:40

gratification. Like, come on, folks. This

36:43

isn't rocket science. They want us

36:45

to think it is, but it

36:47

isn't. It's not. It could be

36:49

a spiritual thing. In other words.

36:52

Let's pretend Satan is real. Well,

36:54

if Satan is going to influence

36:56

you and keep you down and

36:58

keep you depressed and keep you

37:01

in this earthly energy, and you've

37:03

got the choice, I've got the

37:05

choice, he cannot stop me from

37:07

choosing heavenly energy. Yeah. Then why

37:10

do you keep choosing earthly? Yes,

37:12

sir. Bradley. Some amazing tips. So

37:14

I'm going to do something. If

37:17

you're watching, you see the book.

37:19

Lessons, I learned the hard way,

37:21

so you don't have to. Here's

37:23

what I'm going to do. Ten

37:26

people message me the hard way.

37:28

I'm giving you a copy. Brad

37:30

dedicated the book to you, by

37:32

the way. When you read the

37:35

dedication, you're there. I love that

37:37

dedication, Brad, just so you know.

37:39

I would say that was my

37:41

favorite part, but I knew that

37:44

book was for me when I

37:46

saw it. I was like, that's

37:48

freaking Bradley. That's. I don't care

37:51

if it's Instagram or LinkedIn because

37:53

that's where I spend my time.

37:55

Message me the hard way. First

37:57

38:14

38:17

38:19

and impactful the lessons in this book are

38:21

because I don't care what seat you

38:23

38:27

38:32

38:43

38:45

for short. That sounds good, man.

38:47

You got it for all the

38:49

listeners and viewers. Remember,

38:51

you're because is your

38:53

superpower. Go unleash it.

38:55

Keep pushing your limits

38:57

embracing your purpose and

38:59

chasing greatness. Until next

39:01

time, stay unstoppable.
