Reverend Benjamin Perry is Minister of Outreach and Media Strategy at Middle Collegiate Church in New York, an activist, and a writer.Perry has also worked an organizer with the New York chapter of the Poor People’s Campaign, as Deputy Director of Communications and Marketing at Union Theological Seminary, and as an editor at Time. He is the editor of the Queer Faith photojournalism series.Perry's writing, has appeared in The Washington Post, Slate, The Huffington Post, Sojourners, Bustle and Motherboard. His first book, "Cry, Baby: Why Our Tears Matter," was published in 2023. He has appeared on MSNBC, Al Jazeera, and NY1.Perry received his B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York Geneseo and his M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary.
