I am Ryan Williams. My life is divided into two life spans: Before Mushrooms (BM), and After Mushrooms (AM).

Nerv, a mushroom inspired podcast, dedicated to the environment and sharing the stories of Mother Earth's flora, fungal, and fauna. Nerv branches out from the mycelium network to create and publish fungi and ecologically inspired conversations with mycologists, environmentalists, and people partnering with fungi to heal the earth.

Fungi are touching every aspect of society from politics to food to medicine to pop culture and we're here to discuss how humans are evolving with the fungal queendom.

Who is Ryan?Ryan Williams is an environmentalist, mycologist, breathworker, and fungal storyteller. He's the founder of Nerv. After working in social media for Disney, gaming at Machinima, and with tech startups to help spread their stories, he now uses his skills to further his mission: building a fungi, environmental, and ecologically inspired media company.

He is certified to teach breathwork, yoga nidra, yin yoga and meditation. His first book, The Influencer Economy: How to Launch Your Idea, Share it with the World, and Thrive in the Digital Age detailed the rise of social media influencers. You can connect with him at nerv.earth.
