Chris Haxel Chris Haxel is a reporter who covers guns and gun culture. Currently, he is a reporter for the NPR station KCUR and for the reporting collaborative Guns & America. He is also co-host of "No Compromise," an investigative podcast from NPR.Haxel's work has appeared on Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Here & Now and The Takeaway, USA Today, and The Washington Post.Prior to joining KCUR, Haxel was a newspaper reporter in Kansas and in Michigan. Currently, she is a reporting fellow at NPR station WABE, and a reporter for the reporting collaborative Guns & America. See is also co-host of "No Compromise," an investigative podcast from NPR.Previously, Hagen produced videos for the news site Al-Ahram in Cairo. She was a reporter for DNAInfo.com, wrote for the NYTimes’ “The Local” blog, and was a stringer for the New York Post.Hagen was raised in Kahalu’u, Hawaii. She received her B.A. in History and Gender Studies from New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and her M.A. in Journalism from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
