Showcasing his immense talent in front of jazz giants like Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Roy Hargrove, andRandy Brecker, along with sharing the stage with President Bill Clinton and Pharell Williams, thrust Marquis onto the national stage and a recording contract with major label, Concord Records.  

Though success can come fast and furious, Marquis is a grounded musician anchored by his deep Chicago roots and humbled by a village of mentors, educators, and friends that inspire him to create and live on purpose.
