In this interview Ryan (bassist) and Sam (drummer) of The Sheepdogs talk about joining the military, adding Canadian touches to their album Changing Colours and throwing the first pitch at a Toronto Blue Jays game.
The Sheepdogs are one of the biggest rock bands to come out of Canada. They formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan circa 2006. In 2011 they became the first unsigned band to make it on the cover of the coveted "Rolling Stone" magazine. They've also performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and their songs have been featured on shows like CSI and many, I mean many, of CBC's sports montages, especially during the Olympics.
To date, they have released 6 studio albums and have been nominated for 5 Juno awards, winning 3 of those.
