Episode 103!

Gerard White knows something about overcoming the odds and rising above adversity. 

After his parents divorced, he became involved with the drug scene - buying, selling and using a variety of illegal substances and enjoying the money, power, and adrenaline it brought.  He knew his life was out of control, and he didn't know where it would end. 

Eventually it came crashing down in a drug sting that resulted in a 35-year prison sentence for 19-year old Gerard.  He entered prison and fought for his survival, visiting solitary confinement on a few occasions for his trouble and earning himself a reputation of someone not to be messed with. 

Faith never entered the equation until he had the opportunity to go to a camp to earn an early work release.  His eyes started to open and he earned that early release where he had 30-days to find a job or face a return to prison.  Incredibly, while facing the final few days of that daunting task, Gerard learned he had Stage 4 leukemia and required immediate treatment.  A good Samaritan extended a hand and the opportunity to work and later Gerard learned of the power of prayer in his own healing. 

Incredibly, a family trip to Disney would set Gerard on a new path to standing up for his faith and his life would never be the same.  Amazing to hear his incredible journey from drug dealer to husband, father and man standing up for God.
