Welcome to another episode of Return to Startup, thanks for tunning in. Today we have two really fun, really great guests whom I appreciate a lot. They are Alejo Rivera and Ana Isa Gadala. Alejo is an early bird. He lives in a world of knights, bishops and kings. He’s a Draper Superhero and has over 25 countries stamped on his passport. Ana Isa is also a citizen of the world and a Draper Superhero, as well as a Singularity U Grad and a TEDx Speaker.

They are the founders of Junto Studio, a web-development company that helps great businesses build amazing websites. Just last year they have made some of their clients increase appointments in their website by 12 times, reach and pass a 50 thousand crowdfunding goal, raise a new round of funding, on and on, making 90% of their clients referred by other happy clients. Some of them include QBracelet, Acton Academy, Ayalo, and UFM. What I personally like about Junto Studio is their way of working with their clients, they are constantly aiming to understand and collaborate with them, making tons of questions, prototyping fast, and iterating accordingly.

But besides Junto Studio, Alejo and Ana Isa are passionate about education which has led them to create an Acton Academy in Houston, Texas.

In this episode we’re going to talk about all of these, including the myths of creating a startup, how to find the best way to communicate in a company, how to make your company work 100% remotely while keeping everyone accountable, what are some common mistakes in trying to do this, how to build a culture of learning, how technology and education go together, and what can we learn from kids in order to live a better life. I had a blast and I hope you enjoy it too.
