I look over to the right

0:04

across my friend out the window

0:06

and my brain skipped a beat.

0:09

And I was like, what? And

0:11

I looked like three times real

0:13

quick. And Corey said, what's wrong?

0:15

And he was looking at me.

0:18

And I said, look. And he

0:20

looked back at me and his

0:22

jaw was on the floor. Where

0:24

the house was was like this

0:26

pebble lot. You

0:29

know Drew before we

0:31

started recording you told

0:33

me this was going

0:36

to be probably the

0:38

creepiest paranormal encounter That

0:40

I've ever heard and

0:42

I was like mmm.

0:44

I guess we'll find

0:46

out together, but I

0:49

stand corrected That

0:51

is the creepiest

0:53

paranormal encounter I've

0:55

ever heard Okay It

0:58

looked like somebody was

1:01

bent over and had

1:03

their head in the

1:06

window of the deer

1:08

blind and it either

1:11

heard me or smelled

1:13

me and he pulled

1:15

his head out of the

1:17

tent and stood straight

1:20

up and that that

1:22

shocked me. They don't

1:25

make people that

1:27

that big. Almost

1:29

as if it was gliding

1:31

across the beach. I've never

1:33

seen anything move like that

1:35

in my life. They were

1:37

screaming at each other in

1:39

gibberish. It sounded like a

1:41

language and they were

1:44

chuttering away back and

1:46

forwards, back and forwards,

1:48

back and forward. I know

1:50

what a bear looks like and there

1:53

is no way on this planet,

1:55

but what I saw bears.

2:06

This is Shane

2:09

Grove, hosted the

2:11

From the Shadows

2:14

podcast. I'm not

2:16

like, I'm not,

2:19

uh-huh. This is

2:21

about six foot

2:23

nine, I don't

2:26

know. Do you see

2:28

him now, sir? Yes,

2:31

I'm looking right, hey,

2:34

uh-uh. And this is

2:36

Sasquatch Chronicles. Welcome

3:11

to the show everyone. Thanks for being

3:13

here tonight. Got a great show planned

3:15

for you. We'll be chatting with Drew

3:18

and Drew comes to us from Western

3:20

North Carolina and back less than a

3:22

year ago Drew had bought this huge

3:24

piece of property. It sits on top

3:27

of a mountain And he's up there

3:29

with his RV and he's had a

3:31

few run-ins with these creatures and in

3:33

the beginning Drew told me goes, I

3:35

didn't know what it was Drew is

3:38

also going to be sharing with us

3:40

two paranormal events that kind of shaped

3:42

his life. One of the events was

3:44

back in 1989 and there was an

3:47

incident in 2009 and I'll kind of

3:49

let Drew go into it. Probably one

3:52

of the creepiest things I've ever heard.

3:54

If you've had an encounter and you'd

3:56

like to be on the show,

3:58

shoot me an email. My email

4:00

address is Wes at Sasquatch

4:05

a chance check out Sasquatch

4:07

4:09

member and get additional shows.

4:11

Let's jump into it tonight.

4:13

I want to welcome Drew

4:15

to the show. Drew, thanks

4:17

for coming on. Sure, absolutely.

4:19

How are you? I'm doing

4:22

well, man. Thank you so

4:24

much for asking. And what

4:26

I'd like to do is

4:28

kind of start from the

4:30

very beginning going back to

4:32

1989, this weird event that

4:35

happened to you. We'll just

4:37

kind of go through the

4:39

timeline. But if you would take

4:42

me back to 1989, what were

4:44

you doing? And what happened? So

4:46

in 89, I was in high

4:48

school and my dad took me

4:50

on a full trip to South

4:53

Dakota. And we stayed

4:55

just outside the Pine Ridge

4:57

Indian Reservation, which is a

4:59

Lakota Sioux Reservation. And it

5:02

was late fall. And my

5:04

dad loves the Wild West.

5:07

We're going on a trip

5:09

that was going to take

5:12

total of about five

5:14

weeks covered North Dakota,

5:16

South Dakota, Wyoming. And

5:19

we stayed at this motel.

5:21

probably about two in

5:23

the morning. And this motel

5:26

was one of these where

5:28

there's like eight units, kind

5:30

of like all together. And

5:32

like two in the morning, there

5:35

was a knock on the door. And

5:37

the weather had changed. It

5:39

was pretty cold the night

5:41

before cold front came

5:43

in. And there's this knock

5:46

at the door. And of course,

5:48

I jumped up. My dad jumps

5:50

up. And we looked at each other. So

5:52

I'm in a in a double bed.

5:54

He's in a double bed. We like

5:56

both jump up look at each other

5:58

and we look at. door and my dad

6:01

was like did somebody just knock at the

6:03

door and I was like I think so

6:05

if you if you heard it I heard

6:07

it I wasn't dreaming and so

6:10

again a knock at the door so

6:12

now we stand up and we meet

6:14

together and we're standing at the door

6:16

of this little motel and

6:18

there's a peephole and my

6:20

dad said who'd be knocking on the

6:22

door at two in the morning? And

6:25

it's cold out and it

6:27

had started snowing probably around

6:29

10 o'clock, so like four

6:32

hours before real light. And

6:34

again, a knock at the door. Well,

6:36

my dad looks out the pea pole

6:38

and he looks at me with this

6:40

confused look on his

6:43

face and I look back at

6:45

him and I looked out the

6:47

pea pole and standing right outside

6:50

the door. And standing right outside

6:52

the door was... It looked like

6:54

a little old woman. She looked

6:57

like she was in her like

6:59

90s. And she was all done

7:02

up with a scarf around her

7:04

neck and a jacket. And

7:06

she had like a bandana

7:08

wrapped around her head. And

7:10

I looked and I was like,

7:13

what in the world? And again,

7:15

knock at the door. So my

7:18

dad opens the door and

7:20

she's not standing

7:22

there. And we looked across,

7:24

now this is outside the

7:26

reservation, so you're kind of

7:28

out in the middle of

7:30

nowhere. And there's probably

7:32

the parking lot, which is

7:34

very small, and then there's

7:36

a field that's probably three

7:38

or 400 yards with a

7:41

wooded tree line that starts

7:43

probably 200 yards away. And

7:45

she was gone. And he said,

7:47

what in the world? And so then

7:49

I stepped into the doorway. and

7:52

we could see her, she was

7:54

standing a football field away. So

7:56

in a matter of seconds from

7:58

her knocking... the last time

8:01

him opening the door, she

8:03

went from standing right there

8:05

to being like a football field

8:07

away. And I pointed into the,

8:09

in front of the door, where

8:11

the snow had fallen, and I

8:13

said, look, there's prints there.

8:16

And he opened the door, and

8:18

there was these boot prints

8:20

from, and it was a toe. Then

8:22

a space and a heel, so

8:24

almost like a little boot. But

8:27

the whole thing from Tota Hill

8:29

was probably only five inches, like

8:31

these teeny tiny little prints. And

8:33

the wild thing about it was

8:36

there was prints we could see them

8:38

going through the parking lot into

8:40

the field before the wood line

8:42

where she was standing. And we could

8:45

only see her because of the

8:47

light of the snow. There wasn't

8:49

like lights out there. But we

8:51

saw her standing there and

8:53

But she went from standing

8:55

at the doorway to a

8:57

football field away in seconds,

9:00

which is just hard to wrap

9:02

your mind around and I'm

9:04

a high school student And so

9:06

my dad goes get dressed

9:08

and so we got dressed and

9:11

We had a flashlight and

9:13

camping gear and stuff. He

9:15

grabbed a flashlight and When

9:17

we look back out the door, she

9:19

was still standing facing us, but she

9:22

was at the tree line now, which

9:24

is probably 200 yards or whatever

9:26

away and He flashed his

9:28

light Towards her and of course

9:30

the light didn't like hit her

9:32

here because we're so far away

9:34

and he goes let's follow these tracks

9:37

We followed these tracks my dad's

9:39

looking at the ground holding this

9:41

flashlight. I'm looking at her walking

9:43

straight ahead behind my dad and

9:46

she turned and walked into the

9:48

tree line. And when she walked

9:50

into the tree line, I was like dad,

9:52

dad, she just went into the woods.

9:54

And this is, she looked like she

9:57

was in her nineties. She was this

9:59

little time. thing and to be out

10:01

in the middle of nowhere

10:04

was just like mind baffling

10:06

to me. And so we followed

10:08

her prints all the way

10:10

across the field into the

10:12

woods and we followed her

10:14

print. Oh gosh, probably between

10:16

a quarter and a half

10:19

mile through the woods, there

10:21

was those little prints,

10:23

which was weird to me

10:25

because in fresh snow, it

10:28

was almost like. step-by-step,

10:31

those perfect bootprints,

10:33

the little tiny

10:35

bootprints. We filed them

10:37

a quarter mile, half-mile, and

10:39

then they just stopped. And

10:41

there was four now, like quarter-half-mile,

10:45

into the woods in the middle

10:47

of nowhere of South Dakota,

10:49

near the Indian Reservation, and

10:52

they just stopped. And we

10:54

took his flashlight, we walked

10:56

all directions, like 50 yards.

10:59

Prince never picked up it's like

11:01

they just vanished in this in

11:03

there and that was that was

11:05

my first ever encounter and to

11:07

this day my dad's now 83 years

11:09

old to this day when I bring

11:12

it up he doesn't even want

11:14

to talk about it because it

11:16

spooked him so bad almost like

11:18

it never happened but it did

11:20

happen. Yeah that is weird but

11:22

what you were seeing was

11:24

an actual I mean what

11:26

you were perceiving with your

11:29

eyes anyway was an actual

11:31

human being. It wasn't like

11:33

you were thinking ghost or

11:35

anything like that. Yes, it

11:37

looked exactly like

11:39

a 90 some year old

11:42

little frail woman. She was

11:44

probably five feet or under.

11:46

She was tiny and had a

11:48

jacket. I can tell you like

11:51

When I picture it, my mind, I can

11:53

see exactly what she was wearing with

11:55

the bandana wrapped around her head. It's

11:57

not a bandana but little old ladies.

12:00

wear something over their head that

12:02

comes down, covers theirs, and ties

12:04

under their chin. That's what she

12:06

had on, and she had on

12:08

pants, and these teeny little boots.

12:10

And I didn't realize how small

12:13

she was, or how small her

12:15

boots were, until we started tracking

12:17

it. And these bootprints

12:19

were literally smaller. I'm six foot.

12:21

I had pretty big hands, but

12:24

they were smaller than my hands

12:26

from toe to heel. But she looked

12:28

like a person. Like she looked

12:30

like an actual human being standing

12:33

there. You know an older

12:35

woman really is probably like

12:37

the least threatening thing on the

12:39

planet. But I'm trying to put

12:42

myself in your shoes. If I look

12:44

out there and she's a football

12:46

field away in a matter of seconds,

12:48

you know, I'm gonna be like, I

12:50

think I'm out on this one. I

12:52

mean, did you at this point, did

12:55

you think something weird was going

12:57

on? I did. Honestly, but my

12:59

dad is very old school. Like

13:02

I said, he's 83. He's very

13:04

old school and everything has to

13:06

make sense to him. He

13:08

doesn't believe in anything

13:10

paranormal, anything scripted,

13:13

he doesn't believe

13:15

in anything. So if

13:17

something weird happens, he has to

13:19

get to the bottom of it

13:22

and make it make sense. That's

13:24

just the way he is. And because

13:26

I was... I was scared. If I

13:29

didn't have my dad, I wouldn't.

13:31

There's no way I was going

13:33

to follow these tracks into the

13:35

woods. But my dad was like,

13:37

we're going to follow him. And

13:39

I was like, okay. And of course,

13:42

you know, he raised five of us

13:44

by himself. And so I was

13:46

like, oh, he's the fearless leader,

13:48

I'll be fine. But he thought

13:50

somebody's playing a joke or

13:52

something. And it didn't even me.

13:54

All I know is that from.

13:57

that last knock to her being

13:59

there. to him opening the

14:01

door and being a football

14:04

field away. To me, that

14:06

like blew my mind. I was

14:08

like, this isn't right,

14:11

something's wrong. And it's

14:13

wild because the very next

14:15

day, I talked to some

14:17

local natives there

14:19

and asked them, have you

14:22

ever seen anything like this?

14:24

And they said, well, we have

14:27

skin walkers all over.

14:29

in South Dakota all over

14:31

the reservation and they said

14:34

they can take the form

14:36

of anyone, an animal,

14:39

a person, but they said

14:41

they thought, and they told

14:43

me this, they thought that's

14:45

what it was because

14:47

how far she moved and

14:50

how fast she moved. That

14:52

was the first time in

14:54

my life, anything weird had

14:57

happened at all. What

14:59

do you think that

15:01

this entity slash old

15:03

woman wanted from you?

15:05

Um, honestly, I have no

15:07

idea because to me,

15:10

my first instinct, of course,

15:12

I was a high school

15:14

student. My thought was that

15:16

as fast and far back

15:18

as she moved was follow

15:20

me, which everything inside

15:23

of me. as a 17-year-old

15:25

was like, don't follow her.

15:27

But my dad, then from

15:30

the older generations, like, who

15:32

is that? We have to

15:34

find out who that is,

15:36

that. But to me, she wanted

15:38

us to follow her. Why?

15:40

I don't know. Because we

15:42

followed the tracks through the

15:45

woods, and then they came

15:47

to a stop. Just, I

15:49

mean, just came to a stop.

15:51

And so... I don't know. I don't

15:53

think about that one a lot

15:56

because of the next event that

15:58

happened to me in 2000. 2009,

16:00

which I wanted to tell

16:02

you about in Chicago.

16:05

Yeah, whatever that old

16:07

woman was, it sounds

16:10

like a trap to me, but

16:12

yeah, take me to 2009.

16:14

In 2009, what I do for

16:17

work-wise, I get

16:19

to travel a lot,

16:21

and it's usually between

16:23

six to eight months

16:26

and a year in a

16:28

location. And there was

16:30

somebody from the travel

16:32

channel, I believe it was

16:35

a producer, was trying to

16:37

put together that a group

16:40

of people in my field

16:42

and they were going to

16:44

paranormal shows started big in

16:47

2004 with ghost hunters and

16:49

then ghost adventures came out

16:51

and stuff. And they were trying

16:54

to take people from different

16:56

genres. of careers and

16:58

you know we're gonna put you

17:00

on a guest show and so

17:03

what they did was they got

17:05

myself and three other guys to

17:07

do kind of like a

17:09

celebrity ghost hunting event if

17:12

you will and this producer

17:14

from Travel Channel started

17:16

calling me in like

17:18

2008 and in 2009

17:20

I said look I said

17:22

I'm way too busy. I'm

17:24

getting ready to move to

17:26

the East Coast because I

17:28

moved later in the fall

17:31

of 2009 to the,

17:33

excuse me, the West Coast.

17:35

And I said, but if

17:37

you have something locally

17:39

that you want to

17:41

come film, I do it.

17:44

And I didn't, I

17:46

hadn't had anything happen

17:48

with the old lady in

17:50

89. So it's now 2009.

17:52

And They said, okay, well,

17:54

we're going to advertise and,

17:57

of course, Discovery owns.

18:00

history channel travel channel that

18:02

stuff so they were had

18:04

all the paranormal shows well

18:06

they created this mailbox this

18:08

email box and I guess

18:10

because I didn't watch the shows

18:12

much they would say hey if

18:14

you have something happened you in

18:16

your area email us and so

18:18

the producer called me one day

18:20

like seven times and finally I

18:22

picked up and I was like

18:24

hey I'm really busy doing a job

18:26

right now and he said He said,

18:29

we got an email and it's from

18:31

somebody that lives in Chicago. And they

18:33

had kind of like a vetting

18:35

process where they would go through,

18:37

you know, because people would call

18:40

him and have crazy stories that

18:42

didn't make sense. And so they

18:44

would kind of cut through the

18:46

BS and get to people that

18:48

actually had things happen for real

18:50

on a paranormal side. He said,

18:52

hey, there's somebody right in your

18:54

city in Chicago. She said that

18:56

she has a house that she lives

18:58

in in the historical

19:01

district that was built in

19:03

the late 1800s and she said

19:05

she has turned the attic

19:07

into a bedroom and there's

19:09

a demon that lives there. And

19:11

I was like, what? I was like,

19:13

that's wild. And I was like,

19:16

but that sounds too wild. And

19:18

he said, no, she said she

19:20

has photo evidence and has

19:22

put together all that's proof.

19:24

that it does things to her

19:26

and she's been to the doctor

19:28

and has doctors reports and

19:31

photos and all this stuff

19:33

and I was like what

19:35

I was like that's insane

19:37

sounding to me and he said hey

19:39

said just reach out to her and

19:41

he said talk to her because she's

19:43

in your city he said maybe go

19:46

by her house if you can and

19:48

he said if it's something that's

19:50

the real deal will come and

19:52

film because of course it's expensive

19:54

for them to come from travel

19:57

channel headquarters in Baltimore or excuse

19:59

me discovery. headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.

20:01

He's like, this is how much

20:03

it costs us a day, so

20:06

make sure it's legit. So he

20:08

gives me a landline and a cell

20:10

number for this girl, and her

20:13

name's Natalie Belcher. I'll never

20:15

forget the name. She was a

20:17

waitress at a place in Chicago

20:19

called Scores. It's kind of like

20:21

a cross between a sports

20:24

bar, high-end sports bar, and

20:26

a gentleman's club, if you will. And

20:28

he said, she's a waitress there. And

20:30

so he sends me, forwards me this

20:32

email and I have her numbers and

20:35

I call her and she answers. And

20:37

she said, yeah, she said, I live,

20:39

it's like a park avenue type street.

20:41

She said, I live here. And she

20:43

said, I started turning the attic into

20:46

my bedroom like six, seven months ago.

20:48

And she said, there's a demon that lives

20:50

there. And he does this to me and

20:52

that to me. And I was just like.

20:54

It sounded so far-fetched to

20:57

me that I was very

20:59

skeptical. And she said, well, you

21:01

can come over and check out my

21:03

house. And she said, and see

21:05

for yourself. Well, of course, she

21:07

lived like 25 minutes from me

21:10

in the city. And I was

21:12

like, of course, I'll come over,

21:14

but I'm not coming alone. I'll

21:16

bring a couple of friends. And

21:19

so... got done talking to her, called

21:21

the producer back, I said, hey,

21:23

this sounds pretty legit. She said

21:25

she has photos and all this

21:27

stuff of bruising and bite marks

21:29

and all this. I said, so I want

21:32

to go check it out. And he

21:34

said, well, we have a still photographer

21:36

that works on all the famous like,

21:38

go shows, if you will. And he

21:40

said, we'll fly her out and send

21:42

her, she'll go with you. And I

21:44

said, that's fine. I said, I'm going

21:46

to bring a friend of mine too,

21:48

just because I don't know what I'm

21:50

getting into. You know, I'm in a

21:52

city of four and a half million

21:54

people. And so set a date

21:56

and time in the afternoon at like

21:58

two in the afternoon. And so

22:00

I drive down and it's me, a

22:02

friend of mine, who's a guy,

22:05

and the female still photographer

22:07

that works for the Discovery

22:09

Channel. And so we're driving

22:12

down and you have to

22:14

imagine this Park Avenue Road.

22:16

So it's in the historic district

22:18

and it runs like eight

22:20

blocks and it goes one

22:22

way with like a six foot

22:25

grass median and then one way

22:27

coming back. and it's two

22:29

lanes, but the right-hand lane,

22:31

none of these old houses from

22:33

the 1800s have driveways or

22:36

garages or anything, so you

22:38

park on the street and there's

22:40

like one spot per house. And

22:42

they kept this Park Avenue very

22:45

beautiful. They would do the street

22:47

lamps with lighting at Christmas time,

22:50

but this median there was flowers.

22:52

So everyone that lived there had

22:54

to take care of their home and

22:56

their yard very meticulously because it's in

22:59

the historic district in the city in

23:01

Chicago. So we're driving down, we have

23:03

the address, we drive down and there's

23:06

an empty spot, I pull over and

23:08

I'm going down this one way, pull

23:10

over and look over at the house

23:13

and I'm like, well, this is

23:15

in, and I'm nervous. because I've

23:17

never been involved in anything paranormal

23:19

or any of that and the

23:21

the story she told me was

23:23

just like mind-blowing to me and

23:25

nothing in my life had happened

23:27

except that event in 89 for so

23:29

I was kind of skeptical at the

23:31

time and so we got out and

23:33

the still photographers automatically just

23:35

starting taking pictures because she

23:38

went with us but she

23:40

works for discovery. she's taking

23:42

pictures of this house and

23:45

I was like this house

23:47

is beautiful and it was

23:49

like a two-story kind of

23:51

Victorian style house

23:53

square footage not huge on

23:56

the main floor or second

23:58

floor I would say 900 2,000 square

24:00

feet on each floor, but it had

24:02

like a widow's walk at the top.

24:05

It was a really cool house. She's

24:07

taking photos, me and my buddy

24:09

get out, and we're like joking,

24:12

kind of cracking jokes, like, you

24:14

know, this is probably going to

24:16

be something ridiculous, and this front

24:18

door opens, and this girl walks

24:20

out, and she like waves to

24:23

us, and we're walking up from

24:25

the street, and she's like, hi,

24:27

nice to meet you. And I was

24:29

like, hi. I was like, how are you?

24:31

I said, tell me your story. Tell

24:34

me what's going on. And this

24:36

was all just in case this

24:38

happened to be true. So Discovery

24:40

could film an episode to put

24:43

on one of their shows. So

24:45

this is like all precursor stuff.

24:47

And I told him, I said,

24:49

if it's BS, I'll call BS.

24:51

If I think she's full of

24:53

it, then we'll leave and that's

24:55

that. And so, but I did

24:58

have an interest obviously is why

25:00

it went. And so we walked

25:02

inside and the house is from

25:04

front to back long. So

25:06

it's, it's, it's rectangular shaped,

25:08

the house is narrow, but the

25:10

length of the house is pretty

25:13

long. And so we walked inside

25:15

and there's a couch on the left

25:17

and the still photographer girl walked

25:20

over and sat over and sat

25:22

down and said, hey, I'm going

25:24

to sit here. And she said,

25:26

I'll take some photos and stuff.

25:29

And the girl said, she said,

25:31

hey, Drew, she said, come with me

25:33

into the kitchen. She said, I

25:35

want to show you something. So

25:38

I told them both. I was

25:40

like, hey, just chill out here.

25:42

I'm going to go with her.

25:44

Walked in through a swing door,

25:47

almost like at a restaurant when

25:49

you push, just door opens one

25:51

way on a hinge. walked in

25:53

and there's this tiny little octagon

25:56

kitchen probably 10 feet

25:58

by 12 feet with windows. on

26:00

the sides and there's a

26:02

little tiny like three-foot diameter

26:05

kitchen table and she had

26:07

two legal pads two pens

26:09

sitting on the table and she

26:12

sat down facing me across

26:14

the table from me on

26:16

this little table and her back

26:18

was against the window my back

26:20

to give you an idea was

26:23

against the door that we came

26:25

in. And she said, she said, what

26:27

I want you to do is she said,

26:29

I'm going to turn around in my chair.

26:31

And she said, I want you to think,

26:33

close your eyes and think for

26:35

a couple minutes if you lived in

26:37

a past life where you would live

26:39

and I want you to draw it.

26:42

And I was like, oh, I was like, okay,

26:44

I'll play along. So she turned around and

26:46

I closed my eyes and I was like,

26:48

where would I live if I lived in

26:50

the past? It was kind of like a

26:53

joke, a joke to me. And

26:55

I was like, you know, if

26:57

I lived in a past life,

26:59

I would be a knight. And

27:01

I would live in a castle.

27:03

And that's just what I came up

27:05

with in my head. So I

27:07

can't draw for anything. I'm

27:10

terrible. So I draw a

27:12

little castle. And most castles, as

27:14

we know it, as at least

27:16

as I know it, have moats

27:19

around them. And I was like,

27:21

my castle wouldn't have a moat.

27:23

I drew like stick figure trees like

27:25

eight of them and in the

27:27

behind the castle I drew like

27:30

this little corral and I drew

27:32

literally like five stick figure horses

27:34

and then me like in the

27:36

back left corner and I said

27:38

okay I'm done and I turned the

27:40

legal pad upside down and I put

27:42

my elbows on it. She turned around

27:44

she said look at me and I

27:46

looked at her in her eyes. She looked at

27:48

me for about 60 seconds like

27:50

she was looking through me. And I

27:53

swear she drew exactly what

27:55

I drew. She drew a

27:57

castle with no moat, stick

27:59

figure trees. me in the corner,

28:01

a corral with the horses, same

28:03

number, like to a T. And

28:05

that freaked me out immediately.

28:08

This is like 10 minutes

28:10

within meeting her and being

28:12

in the South. And I was

28:14

just mind blown. And I

28:16

actually made me nervous and

28:18

I stood up. And I was like,

28:21

hey, let's go out here because

28:23

that's where my friend in the

28:25

photographer was at. I was feeling

28:27

super uncomfortable. And I was like,

28:30

let's go out of here. And

28:32

she's like, okay. So we walked out

28:34

and I was just speechless. And I

28:36

was like, so trying to think of

28:38

something to say. I was like, so

28:41

you have a demon that lives in

28:43

your attic, huh? And she goes, yeah,

28:45

she goes, but you can't go up

28:47

there. There's like an invisible force

28:49

field that will not let you go

28:51

up there and I was like Come

28:54

on. I'm six foot a hundred

28:56

ninety pounds I've been an

28:58

outdoorsman athlete my whole life.

29:00

Nothing's gonna stop me. That's invisible

29:02

And she goes well if you want

29:04

to really go up there She's like

29:06

I'll take you up there, but she

29:08

said you won't be able to go into

29:11

the room and I said let's go after

29:13

you and so Standing outside of

29:15

that kitchen door There's a

29:17

wall and a stairwell that goes up

29:19

into the attic But the stairwell you

29:21

can if you're in the living room

29:24

you could see Up and then it's

29:26

a wall so you can see me

29:28

walk up and then I would slowly

29:30

disappear It's like two flight of steps

29:32

in one. It's an old house and

29:34

so I said you first she

29:36

walked in front of me. We

29:38

started walking up the steps and in

29:40

my head. I'm like yeah, right. I'm

29:43

just gonna walk right in here literally

29:45

got two steps from the doorway. She

29:47

walked through the threshold of the doorway

29:50

in the attic and I got two

29:52

steps from it and it was like

29:54

I walked into a plexiglass like boom

29:57

I couldn't walk any further and so

29:59

I I was like, what? And

30:01

my brain is going a thousand

30:03

miles an hour. I'm still freaked

30:06

out by what she did in

30:08

the kitchen by drawing what I saw

30:10

and what I drew. And so there's

30:12

these, the, this old house had

30:14

like the five inch wide trim

30:17

around the doorways. Well, that's

30:19

what was trimmed through this

30:21

attic doorway. And I reached

30:23

up and reached through doorway

30:25

with my hands, I guess

30:27

would be turned out. And

30:29

I. jumped and pulled myself

30:31

through the doorway and It

30:33

was warm outside Chicago can

30:35

be humid part of the

30:38

air and when I jumped

30:40

through the doorway I went

30:42

Like that like like like pulling

30:44

myself and when I like

30:47

landed on my feet I could

30:49

see my breath as if it

30:51

were 20 degrees outside and she

30:53

turned around and she smiled at

30:55

me and she said isn't it

30:57

cool up here and when she

30:59

did her eyes went solid white

31:01

no color no pupils nothing they

31:03

were stoned white and the thing

31:05

that freaked me out the most

31:07

is that very second I had

31:09

this massive How can

31:11

I say this massive like I was

31:13

attracted to her instantly and that scared

31:15

me to death and I turned around

31:18

and took to go down those two

31:20

flight of steps I took like three

31:22

steps fell to the bottom of the

31:24

steps and ran out of the door

31:26

on my way out said guys come

31:28

on and so we ended up in the

31:30

front yard turned around and

31:33

she was standing in the doorway

31:35

and she said is everything okay

31:37

and she was smiling. And

31:40

I was terrified. After

31:42

what she did in the

31:44

kitchen, after that whole event

31:46

going into the attic,

31:48

I was completely just

31:51

scared out of my mind. So

31:53

I said, this is too much.

31:55

And I said, we're going to

31:57

leave, but we'll be in touch.

32:00

And we hopped in, of course,

32:02

they didn't know what happened. They

32:04

didn't know what happened in the

32:06

kitchen. They didn't know what happened

32:08

upstairs. And so I said, hey,

32:10

I said, this is too much.

32:12

I don't want any part of

32:14

this. And so we drove back to

32:16

my place in Chicago. And I

32:18

called that producer and I said, hey,

32:20

I don't know what the hell's going

32:23

on at that girl's house. But I

32:25

said, it's out of my league like

32:27

this is too much. And so I

32:29

quick like tried to explain what happened

32:32

and he said, oh my gosh, he said, well,

32:34

you know, we have X amount

32:36

of cast members that are into

32:38

demonology and this and that and

32:40

they said, we'll get them in

32:42

touch with you. And I was like, I'm

32:45

not going back to that house. I

32:47

was like, I don't know what's going

32:49

on, but it scared me to death

32:51

and I'm not afraid of anything and

32:53

that scared me to death. And that

32:55

scared me to death. The still

32:58

photographer, she flew back and

33:00

my buddy, he stayed over

33:02

at my place for a

33:04

couple days. I told him

33:07

what happened. We tried to

33:09

come up with something that

33:11

made sense. We couldn't come

33:13

up with anything that made

33:16

sense. And about a week

33:18

and a half goes by. I

33:20

don't hear anything. And it's eating

33:23

at me and eating at me.

33:25

And I'm like, what is that?

33:28

What is that? What's going on?

33:30

And so I called the girl

33:32

and I was like, I have to

33:34

go back there. I was being,

33:36

it was weird. I was like

33:38

being drawn back. There's something,

33:41

there were so many questions

33:43

with what happened. I was

33:46

like, I have to go

33:48

back to that house. So I

33:50

pulled up the email that had

33:52

her landline and herself of number.

33:54

I called to sell. I'm sorry,

33:57

this number's not in service

33:59

at this. time. I called the landline,

34:01

I'm sorry, this number's not service at

34:03

this time. And I was like, what

34:05

in the world? So I told my

34:07

buddy that went with me the first

34:09

time. His name's Corey. I said, hey, I

34:12

said, let's go back to her house. He's

34:14

like, oh, he's like, you don't want to

34:16

show up at somebody's house. And I said,

34:18

look, it's been like 10 or 12 days,

34:20

I think at this point. I

34:23

think at this point. I have

34:25

to know what's going on. I

34:27

haven't heard anything from the producer

34:30

travel channel. None of the people

34:32

he said would get in touch

34:34

with me did. I was like, I

34:36

need to know what's going on.

34:38

So I said, let's just go

34:40

by her house. And he's like,

34:42

all right, I'll go with you. So

34:45

it's like a Monday afternoon

34:47

at like two in the afternoon.

34:49

We hop in my car,

34:51

we take off driving, Same

34:53

spots open and we pull over

34:55

there we pull over I put my

34:58

car in park and there's a guy

35:00

Like a house down from hers

35:02

who's outside and he's like

35:05

mess trimming flowers and like

35:07

everybody's home had beautiful

35:09

flowers. It was that whole street

35:11

was just amazing and I noticed

35:14

him as I'm pulling in and

35:16

I pull in put it in

35:18

park and I looked over to

35:21

my right Because I'm the

35:23

curbs on my right I look

35:25

over to the right across my

35:27

friend out the window and

35:29

my Brain skipped a beat and

35:31

I was like what and I

35:34

like looked like three times real

35:36

quick and Corey said What's

35:38

wrong? And he was looking at

35:41

me and he looked back at

35:43

me and his jaw was on

35:45

the floor and there was where

35:47

the house was was, and

35:50

these houses are like 20

35:52

feet apart, the very 1880s,

35:54

shoved close together, you

35:56

know, front to back, depth-wise

35:59

law. than they are wide.

36:01

Where the house was was like

36:03

this pebble lot with the little

36:06

pea gravel like the size of

36:08

like 20% the size of a

36:10

marble and this guy that's working

36:12

on his flowers of course they're

36:15

very protective of their neighborhood and

36:17

he notices us and he comes

36:19

walking over and I roll my

36:21

window down and he goes can

36:24

I help you? I was like,

36:26

where's Miss Belcher's house? And he

36:28

goes, what? I said, where's Miss

36:31

Belcher's house, this house, right here?

36:33

And I said, I was here,

36:35

like, less than two weeks ago.

36:37

I said, where's her house? And

36:40

he kind of laughed at me.

36:42

And he's standing outside my window.

36:44

I'm sitting in the car. And

36:46

my friend's jaw is still on

36:49

the floor. And he goes, p-

36:51

He goes, the city of Chicago

36:53

said that house was quote, and

36:55

he did the finger quotes. He

36:58

said that house was quote haunted.

37:00

He said, so they tore it

37:02

down four years ago. And I

37:05

said, no, I was in that

37:07

house two weeks ago. And he

37:09

said, that's impossible. He said, that

37:11

house was torn down four years.

37:14

I've lived here 20 years. And

37:16

my brain just spun. Yeah, that's

37:18

really, really weird. Because even the

37:20

discovery. Lady was there with you

37:23

guys? Yep, she was there and

37:25

to this day I have pictures

37:27

of myself because she was taking

37:29

photos. She took pictures of me

37:32

outside of the house. Yeah, I

37:34

would love to see those pictures.

37:36

That's really bizarre. What do you

37:39

make of that? It's very bizarre.

37:41

I don't know, but I after

37:43

the guy walked away and knew

37:45

we weren't there to do any

37:48

harm to the neighborhood or houses.

37:50

We went home back to my

37:52

place. My friend to this day

37:54

still has anxiety about that whole

37:57

incident because he was with us

37:59

too. And I What I did

38:01

was I called that producer from

38:04

the travel channel and he put

38:06

me in touch with a demonologist

38:08

from Connecticut, his name's John Zafis.

38:10

And I told him the story.

38:13

And the only thing he said,

38:15

which made my head spin even

38:17

more, was he told me he

38:19

said, how do you know you

38:22

were ever even there? And I

38:24

was like, huh? And it's, it's,

38:26

what I make of it is.

38:28

We were there for a reason.

38:31

There was three of us that

38:33

were there. I have my picture

38:35

with that house, like supposedly four

38:38

years after it was torn down.

38:40

It's like we were called there,

38:42

drawn there for some reason, but

38:44

I still don't understand the purpose

38:47

because what she did to me,

38:49

this is what John told me,

38:51

he told me that doing the

38:53

drawings of a past life was

38:56

he thought a way of a

38:58

demon. trying to get inside my

39:00

head is what he told me.

39:02

And I was like, gee, thanks,

39:05

because I'm a pretty normal person.

39:07

And I was like, thanks. But

39:09

he said that there's some event

39:12

that happened in my life that

39:14

has caused that to happen, if

39:16

you will, and caused me to

39:18

be drawn to that location, which

39:21

is weird because I moved out

39:23

of Chicago literally that fall. and

39:25

moved to the west coast, moved

39:27

to Scottsdale, Arizona, and then to

39:30

Vegas in 2011. But I don't

39:32

know what the significance was, because

39:34

I didn't know that girl, I

39:37

didn't know anyone on that street

39:39

or anything. And here's what's interesting,

39:41

Wes, is that I was born

39:43

and raised in Chicago. I know

39:46

a lot of people. And so

39:48

I went to a friend of

39:50

mine that I graduated high school

39:52

with who's a Chicago police officer

39:55

in Chicago. I said, hey, I

39:57

said, if I give you these

39:59

phone numbers in this name, can

40:01

you like run it in a

40:04

system? I don't want you to

40:06

like lose your job, but see

40:08

if, like where this person lives

40:11

or when they lived at a

40:13

certain address. And so he did.

40:15

He came back to me and

40:17

he told me that he couldn't

40:20

find that person in existence at

40:22

all. That first and

40:24

last name those phone numbers

40:26

he couldn't find anything and

40:28

so I went to scores

40:30

because Originally in her email

40:32

she had said that she

40:34

was a waitress at score

40:36

So I went to the

40:38

scores in Chicago and talked

40:40

to the general manager and

40:42

without freaking him out told

40:44

him kind of what happened

40:46

and so he Looked up

40:48

past employees at scores. There

40:50

was never a girl at

40:52

scores under that name ever

40:54

that name ever Do you

40:56

still have the pictures of

40:58

yourself inside the home? Yep,

41:00

yep. Yep, I have them

41:02

on an external hard drive.

41:04

Can you send them to

41:06

me? I would love to

41:08

see them. Sure, sure. Yeah,

41:10

I was using a, you

41:12

know, this is 2009. I

41:14

had Windows, computer and stuff.

41:16

I use Mac and everything

41:18

now with technology, but I

41:20

still have an external hard

41:22

drive. It's the wildest thing

41:24

that's ever happened in my

41:26

life and I haven't shared

41:28

that story with many people

41:30

But my few friends that

41:32

I have they're just like

41:34

wow and the Corey the

41:37

guy that was with us

41:39

and Jill who was the

41:41

still photographer just for discovery

41:43

They don't even want to

41:45

talk about it Because I'm

41:47

not close with them, I

41:49

moved to the west coast

41:51

2,000 miles away, but when

41:53

I have talked to them,

41:55

I've brought them up, they

41:57

don't even want to talk

41:59

about it because it freaked

42:01

them out so much. Yeah,

42:03

I don't even know what

42:05

to say or what to

42:07

ask. What do you think

42:09

initialize this whole thing? I

42:11

don't know if it was

42:13

the connection with some of

42:15

the people I've lost in

42:17

my life. Close friends lost

42:19

my daughter. I don't know

42:21

if there's any sort of

42:23

connection, but no one, none

42:25

of them lived in that

42:27

part of the city or

42:29

anything. Like, I don't know.

42:31

To me, it felt completely

42:33

random, you know. And it

42:35

was terrifying. Like, I... You

42:37

know, it's time that's been

42:39

what 15 years ago, 16

42:41

years ago almost now. I

42:43

don't think about it often,

42:45

but it's always in the

42:47

back of my head. And

42:49

I tried not to overthink,

42:51

uh, because John the Zafus,

42:53

the demonologist who at the

42:55

time had was on two

42:57

paranormal shows, he told me,

42:59

he said, don't overthink it,

43:01

because you'll drive yourself crazy

43:03

and you'll think about it

43:05

the rest of your life.

43:07

So I've tried not to

43:09

overthink it, but it was

43:11

terrifying. 30 minute time frame

43:13

and then going back there

43:15

and them telling me the

43:17

house had been torn down

43:19

four years ago, but I

43:21

know for a fact that

43:23

I was there two weeks

43:25

before. I I try not

43:27

to think too much into

43:29

it, you know, but there

43:31

had to be something that

43:33

drew me to that house.

43:35

Like there has to be

43:37

an answer. Just I can't

43:39

tell you what it is.

43:41

I don't know what it

43:43

is. So I've kind of

43:45

just tried to block it

43:47

out if that makes sense.

43:49

Yeah, it does make sense.

43:51

And I think we do

43:53

that to kind of protect

43:55

ourselves and not get to,

43:57

you know, I could see

43:59

something like this driving someone

44:01

crazy. It's a strange account.

44:03

It'll definitely stay with me.

44:05

I really appreciate you sharing

44:07

it. And it just makes

44:09

you wonder why it happened

44:11

to you. I know before

44:13

we came on the air

44:15

you were telling me about

44:17

your daughter and how she

44:19

passed away and there were

44:21

God rest your soul and

44:23

there was a lot of

44:25

death going on in your

44:27

life with family members and

44:29

friends during this time, but

44:31

I don't know why would

44:33

cause something like this. Yeah,

44:35

very, it's gonna stay with

44:37

me for a while. If

44:39

you would, let's go to

44:41

2024 because you bought this

44:43

piece of property and it's

44:46

kind of on top of

44:48

a mountain. If you would

44:50

kind of start from the

44:52

beginning, what's going on there?

44:54

Yeah, 2024, it was April,

44:56

I believe it was the

44:58

fourth, fourth or fifth, was,

45:00

so last year I came

45:02

from Las Vegas, of course

45:04

that's where my office is,

45:06

came to Western North Carolina

45:08

to do a job. I

45:10

didn't know anything about Western

45:12

North Carolina, knew it was

45:14

gorgeous mountains. I knew the

45:16

Cherokee Indian Reservation was close

45:18

by and actually got, came

45:20

to do a job at

45:22

Harris Cherokee Casino in Cherokee.

45:24

And so I was like,

45:26

well, I've spent my whole

45:28

life, my dad had us

45:30

out hunting gun safety courses

45:32

at gun safety courses at

45:34

14 or 15, had us

45:36

hunting, deer, pheasants, everything. And

45:38

so I was like, this

45:40

is great, I've been in

45:42

Vegas, I've been in Utah

45:44

all over doing my work,

45:46

but I'm gonna get back

45:48

to nature. So I found

45:50

a small piece of property,

45:52

it's 2.7 acres, and it's

45:54

about a quarter mile off

45:56

the quala boundary is what

45:58

it's called, but it's the

46:00

Eastern Band of Cherokee. Indians

46:02

reservation. Their whole reservation is

46:04

called the Kuala Boundarians just

46:06

off of it. literally a

46:08

stone's throw. And it was

46:10

atop this mountain. And I

46:12

was like, this is perfect,

46:14

it's cheap. And when I

46:16

travel to do jobs, it's

46:18

either Airbnb for kind of

46:20

long term because the jobs

46:22

are six to eight to

46:24

12 months. But what I

46:26

did was in 2022, I

46:28

bought a 50-foot RV and

46:30

I was like, I can

46:32

drive to these, take my

46:34

dog, my dog's getting older,

46:36

I can take my dog

46:38

with me. And so brought

46:40

my RV, bought the property,

46:42

pretty much side unseen, pictures,

46:44

a couple videos that one

46:46

of the guys sent me.

46:48

And so came here, got

46:50

here January 8th of 24.

46:52

And it was cold, it

46:54

snowed, and I love to

46:56

hike, I love the outdoors,

46:58

and always carry. I have

47:00

a CCW with me that's

47:02

getting 22 states out of

47:04

Nevada. But North Carolina is

47:06

one of them, always carry

47:08

with me. I know the

47:10

dangers that are in the

47:12

woods. I've been everywhere from

47:14

Glacier. I've had football field

47:16

encounters, if you will, with

47:18

grizzlies. I had one in

47:20

Yellowstone. So I'm aware of

47:22

wildlife and what's out there.

47:24

spending a lot of time

47:26

in the woods as much

47:28

as possible. I know the

47:30

animals that are out there

47:32

and this is a new

47:34

part of the world for

47:36

me. So I came here,

47:38

I did what I call

47:40

back country hiking where there

47:42

is no trail, you just

47:44

take off and go and

47:46

I'll go in 10, 12

47:48

miles, spend a few days,

47:50

and then hike back out.

47:52

And then so April of

47:55

24, I am. here just

47:57

off the native reservation here

47:59

in Cherokee, which is where

48:01

I'm at currently. And it's

48:03

probably about, I don't know,

48:05

it's probably... six, 45, seven

48:07

o'clock at night, sun's going

48:09

down, and I'm making my

48:11

own trail through the woods,

48:13

and I always walk 50,

48:15

60 yards, stop, listen, pay

48:17

attention to my surroundings, and

48:19

of course, I had a

48:21

few run-ins with grizzlies, nothing

48:23

up close, like I said,

48:25

football field and more away,

48:27

but I knew there's black

48:29

bears here, I knew there's...

48:31

There's stories of jagwires here

48:33

and of course there's coyotes

48:35

and rattlesnakes and everything else

48:37

so I like stop and

48:39

I hear something Stop and

48:41

it like step step when

48:43

I stopped I heard like

48:45

two steps and a stop

48:47

I was like what in

48:49

the world is that and

48:51

I look around there's nothing

48:53

around me and I have

48:55

a half a million candlewatt

48:57

power flashlight with me with

48:59

my backpack full of tons

49:01

of other stuff and I

49:03

sit down I literally sit

49:05

down up against tree and

49:07

I just listen because spending

49:09

as much time as I

49:11

have in my lifetime in

49:13

the woods you become accustomed

49:15

to listening is like your

49:17

best seeing is tough especially

49:19

when it's getting dark so

49:21

your ears are always the

49:23

best thing. And so I'm

49:25

listening and I don't hear

49:27

anything. It's dead silent. I

49:29

hear birds and I hear

49:31

a little ch-ch-ch-ch-ch in the

49:33

leaves and I look over

49:35

and there's squirrels running, saw

49:37

rabbit. And so I probably

49:39

waited a half hour and

49:41

then I got up and

49:43

as I started to walk

49:45

it's starting to get dark

49:47

and I was like, well,

49:49

I'm gonna start making my

49:51

way to make a camp

49:53

for the night. And I

49:55

step out on this. And

49:57

I'll send you pictures of

49:59

this because I have it

50:01

too. I step out on

50:03

what looked like it used

50:05

to be a hiking trail

50:07

50 years ago. It's like

50:09

grown over. and it's not

50:11

a game trail, it's a

50:13

hiking trail, but it hasn't

50:15

been used in probably 50

50:17

years. And it's all covered

50:19

up and stuff. And so

50:21

I get out and I

50:23

start walking on it. Well,

50:25

as I'm walking this trail,

50:27

I pull my flashlight out

50:29

and I turn my flashlight

50:31

on because it's getting closer

50:33

to being dark. And the

50:35

canopy of the woods of

50:37

the Smoky Mountains. gets extremely

50:39

dark. Like there's, if you're

50:41

in the woods, you can't

50:43

even see the sky because

50:45

the coverage is so insane.

50:47

And so I'm walking with

50:49

my flashlight, not thinking of

50:51

it. I'm not worried about

50:53

anything. I have my firearm

50:55

with me, I'm not worried

50:57

about anything, and as I'm

50:59

walking, I hear something walking

51:01

with me. And so I

51:04

stopped, and when I stopped,

51:06

it stopped. I walked like

51:08

three steps forward. it walked

51:10

three steps for it and

51:12

it was off to my

51:14

right probably it sounded like

51:16

it was maybe 15 feet

51:18

away so when I stopped

51:20

the second time I hit

51:22

my flashlight to the right

51:24

and I can probably see

51:26

60-70 feet into the woods

51:28

because it's spring so it's

51:30

not the trees aren't fully

51:32

bloomed and it's like not

51:34

super full of leaves so

51:36

I can see deep into

51:38

the woods and there's nothing

51:40

there. And so I take

51:42

five more steps, it takes

51:44

five steps with me. And

51:46

I was like, let me

51:48

see, I'm going to back

51:50

up. So I backed up

51:52

three steps, it backed up

51:54

with me. While I'm holding

51:56

the flashlight into the woods,

51:58

I can hear it, which

52:00

sounds 15, 20 feet away

52:02

at the most, but there's

52:04

nothing there. And I was

52:06

like, starting to get creeped

52:08

out, then all of a

52:10

sudden I noticed, I can't

52:12

hear any birds. It's like

52:14

the woods went dead silent.

52:16

and I started getting really

52:18

creeped out. I'm not afraid

52:20

of much. I've been through

52:22

a lot in my life.

52:24

I've come across some pretty

52:26

big predatory animals. throughout my

52:28

travels. This really freaked me

52:30

out, like the hair on

52:32

my neck stood up. And

52:34

so out of nowhere, whatever

52:36

it was started laughing at

52:38

me. And it wasn't a

52:40

kid's laugh, it wasn't an

52:42

adult laugh, it sounded like

52:44

a freaking hyena laughing at

52:46

me, but it was 15

52:48

feet from me. And so...

52:50

I'm trying to get my

52:52

phone out because I want

52:54

to record this. And I'm

52:56

like shaking, trying to get

52:58

my iPhone out of my

53:00

pocket. And I'm like, I

53:02

have to record this. And

53:04

so I start taking, walking

53:06

forward and it starts walking

53:08

with me and it's laughing.

53:10

And it's not a human

53:12

laugh. It's like like a

53:14

hyena. And it sounded like

53:16

an excuse me. It sounds

53:18

ridiculous. But it was like

53:20

a... And I was like,

53:22

what in the world? And

53:24

so being outdoors my whole

53:26

life, I know no matter

53:28

what you come across, you

53:30

never run from anything, whether

53:32

it's a wolf, a coyote,

53:34

a bear, you never run.

53:36

So I was in my

53:38

head, I was telling myself,

53:40

Drew, don't run. Don't run

53:42

as scared as you are,

53:44

do not run. And I

53:46

couldn't, there was nothing for

53:48

me to pull my firearm

53:50

out because... there was nothing

53:52

there. I couldn't see anything

53:54

and I had this huge

53:56

light beam. And so I

53:58

basically hiked another probably 500

54:00

yards up on top of

54:02

the crest of this little

54:04

mountain and it had it

54:06

stopped probably a hundred yards

54:08

before I got to the

54:10

top. And I was literally

54:13

like scanning the woods with

54:15

my flashlight where this walking

54:17

in this laughter was coming

54:19

from backing up on this

54:21

old trail that hadn't been

54:23

used in for ever. And

54:25

I set up camp, I

54:27

didn't sleep a wink that

54:29

night because I was just

54:31

terrified and nothing else happened,

54:33

but that was my first

54:35

encounter here across from the

54:37

Smoky Mountains outside of Cherokee.

54:39

That was like April 4th

54:41

or April 6th of 24

54:43

of last year. So being

54:45

here doing the work that

54:47

I do, I... So to

54:49

give you an idea, if

54:51

you don't know this area

54:53

and you can look it

54:55

up if you want to,

54:57

but people that are listening,

54:59

if they know this area

55:01

to all, so from Cherokee

55:03

to Gatlinburg, as the eagle,

55:05

as the crow flies, it's

55:07

probably 28 miles, but it

55:09

takes like an hour because

55:11

you have to go over

55:13

what's called the gap, and

55:15

you go up thousands of

55:17

feet up these winding roads

55:19

to the top. of the

55:21

Smoky Mountains and you can,

55:23

there's stop points where you

55:25

can see for hundreds of

55:27

miles and then it goes

55:29

back down. There's, there's park

55:31

rangers, national park rangers that

55:33

patrol that area because if

55:35

weather's bad or wind's high

55:37

they close it down and

55:39

a lot of semis will

55:41

try to cut through the

55:43

gap to save themselves going

55:45

around and save like three

55:47

hours. So there's always park

55:49

rangers posted up there. And

55:51

after that happened to me

55:53

last April, in May, I

55:55

took a day and drove

55:57

up there and you'll see

55:59

the park rangers. The entrance

56:01

to the Blue Ridge Parkway

56:03

is right there and stuff

56:05

at the entrance to the

56:07

Smoking National Park, which starts

56:09

the road to the gap.

56:11

And I drove up there

56:13

one day and I saw

56:15

two of the park rangers

56:17

and I stopped and asked

56:19

them, I said, hey, listen,

56:21

I said, this is going

56:23

to sound really bizarre. But

56:25

I said, I have this

56:27

audio. I was like back

56:29

country hiking. I have this

56:31

audio of something laughing at

56:33

me. Can you please tell

56:35

me if you've ever heard

56:37

this? If it's an animal

56:39

I don't know, because I

56:41

have heard stories. when I

56:43

was in Colorado that there's

56:45

some birds that sound like

56:47

that or a fox can

56:49

sound like that and these

56:51

guys live here and they

56:53

work that's the only thing

56:55

they work is the smoking

56:57

the gap pass and I

56:59

played it for them and

57:01

they said that is creepy

57:03

we'd never heard anything like

57:05

that and we have no

57:07

idea what kind of animal

57:09

or person or whatever that

57:11

is. They said we've never

57:13

heard that before and they

57:15

told me two of them

57:17

told me that was creepy.

57:19

So it's not a local

57:22

animal that like everyone knows

57:24

I know that for a

57:26

fact because those were the

57:28

guys to ask. Yeah if

57:30

you would Drew tell me

57:32

about the next incident that

57:34

happened because I know that

57:36

you went back up and

57:38

did you go back up

57:40

for curiosity? Not that I

57:42

don't blame you. Yes, of

57:44

course, because I couldn't see

57:46

anything. I didn't get harmed.

57:48

I just got, you know

57:50

what, scared out of me,

57:52

but I didn't get hurt.

57:54

And it left me with

57:56

a million questions. And so

57:58

I went back up there,

58:00

found that old hiking trail.

58:02

And that's when I actually

58:04

saw something. So that was...

58:06

I went up there three

58:08

or four times last fall,

58:10

then we had a really

58:12

harsh winter here, eight, nine,

58:14

ten inches of snow, single

58:16

digit degrees, black ice, all

58:18

that. So about five weeks

58:20

ago is when I went

58:22

back again and I actually,

58:24

so I'm, if you can

58:26

imagine, so I'm, I walk

58:28

up through the woods and

58:30

I know where the trails

58:32

at. The trail kind of

58:34

runs. If you can imagine

58:36

a small mountain, a small

58:38

mountain meaning 2,000 feet from

58:40

bottom to top, and there's

58:42

a circular like a racetrack

58:44

trail about three quarters of...

58:46

way up that goes around

58:48

the mountain itself, that's that

58:50

old hiking trail. So I

58:52

went through the woods, up

58:54

to it, caught the trail,

58:56

started walking around, and got

58:58

probably two football fields from

59:00

where I had that first

59:02

encounter a year ago, and

59:04

I heard the laughing, and

59:06

when I looked to the

59:08

right, and of course it

59:10

was... By the time I

59:12

got up there, it was

59:14

dark, but I had all

59:16

the necessities with me. And

59:18

I looked to the right

59:20

and I looked to the

59:22

right and before I could,

59:24

I had my flashlight on

59:26

facing straight ahead. And when

59:28

I looked to the right,

59:30

before I could turn the

59:32

flashlight over, I saw two

59:34

extremely bright red eyes. The

59:36

only thing I can compare

59:38

it to is they were

59:40

electric like, like, like, Christmas

59:42

light like electric glowing red

59:44

eyes. I mean super bright.

59:46

And when I looked and

59:48

then I hit it with

59:50

my flashlight, that's when I

59:52

saw it looked like this

59:54

is gonna sound so stupid,

59:56

but it looked like I

59:58

could see the outline and

1:00:00

it almost looked like a

1:00:02

koala bear. It was. maybe

1:00:04

the red eyes were probably

1:00:06

only three feet off the

1:00:08

ground and when I shined

1:00:10

it I couldn't see at

1:00:12

first any like definition all

1:00:14

I saw was the solid

1:00:16

black mass that was shaped

1:00:18

like a koala bear like

1:00:20

short and stout with these

1:00:22

red eyes and then I

1:00:24

started walking towards it. and

1:00:26

I'd probably walk 10 feet

1:00:28

towards it and as I'm

1:00:31

starting to be able to

1:00:33

see hair. and skin. I

1:00:35

thought it was like this

1:00:37

little koala bear thing and

1:00:39

I thought for a second

1:00:41

in my mind at the

1:00:43

time I was like maybe

1:00:45

it's a black bear or

1:00:47

something and I've come across

1:00:49

probably 15 or 16 black

1:00:51

bears hiking throughout here during

1:00:53

the daytime and they will

1:00:55

sometimes sit and like just

1:00:57

look at you but the

1:00:59

slightest noise will scare them

1:01:01

off. They're very, they're very...

1:01:03

timid here. And when I

1:01:05

started walking towards it and

1:01:07

started actually seeing hair and

1:01:09

stuff, it stood straight up.

1:01:11

And now the eyes were

1:01:13

four feet above me. And

1:01:15

I was on the same

1:01:17

plane level as it. Like

1:01:19

it wasn't up above me.

1:01:21

It was like on the

1:01:23

same as me. But when

1:01:25

it stood up, I'm six

1:01:27

foot tall, 190 pounds. it

1:01:29

stood up and its eyes

1:01:31

were like now was looking

1:01:33

down at me and that's

1:01:35

when I kept why I

1:01:37

don't know but I kept

1:01:39

walking towards it with my

1:01:41

flashlight side this half million

1:01:43

candlewatt power flashlight and then

1:01:45

I saw arms legs hands

1:01:47

shoulders its face and the

1:01:49

craziest thing was that my

1:01:51

total time walking towards it

1:01:53

and the faster I walked

1:01:55

towards it. It's like Wes,

1:01:57

it's like it backed up

1:01:59

into the trees, but wasn't

1:02:01

like looking like... I stopped

1:02:03

for maybe three seconds and

1:02:05

it never turned around, never

1:02:07

turned its head, it backed

1:02:09

up at a pace that

1:02:11

a person would have tripped

1:02:13

over a log or got

1:02:15

their boots caught in leaves,

1:02:17

like it backed up and

1:02:19

literally, I stopped for maybe

1:02:21

three seconds and it never

1:02:23

turned around, never turned its

1:02:25

head, it backed into the

1:02:27

darkness and just vanished. It

1:02:31

just vanished into the darkness

1:02:33

and I started to jog

1:02:35

towards it and there was

1:02:37

nothing there. There was nothing

1:02:39

there. It was gone. And

1:02:41

at your closest, how close

1:02:43

were you to the saying?

1:02:46

Oh gosh. At the closest,

1:02:48

20 feet? Like it was

1:02:50

extremely close to me. Yeah,

1:02:52

and those glowing red eyes,

1:02:54

man, that's too close. As

1:02:56

you got closer, were you

1:02:58

able to make out in

1:03:01

any sort of details? Oh

1:03:03

yeah, when, not at first,

1:03:05

but when I started picking

1:03:07

up the pace towards it

1:03:09

and could see hair, it

1:03:11

was black, black hair, and

1:03:13

it's skin color, which the

1:03:16

only skin color, the skin

1:03:18

color was like a gray,

1:03:20

and it was on its

1:03:22

hands. and its chest and

1:03:24

its face that's all everything

1:03:26

else was black and it

1:03:28

looked like it looked like

1:03:31

I've seen people in on

1:03:33

videos in TV on TV

1:03:35

and people in gilly suits

1:03:37

looked like a gilly suits

1:03:39

are too neat this was

1:03:41

like a mess it was

1:03:43

like imagine You know, cookie

1:03:46

monster, right? Cookie monster, it's

1:03:48

blue hair is all frayed

1:03:50

and every, that's what it

1:03:52

was, but it was jet

1:03:54

black. Except I could see

1:03:56

the hands on it, or

1:03:58

the gray skin on the

1:04:01

palms of its hands, its

1:04:03

chest and its face. And

1:04:05

it was like growl barking

1:04:07

at me. It was, but

1:04:09

I felt it, I could

1:04:11

feel it in my feet,

1:04:13

I could feel it in

1:04:16

my chest, like it wasn't

1:04:18

like. If a dog barks

1:04:20

at you, I've run into

1:04:22

coyotes. I ran into coyotes

1:04:24

at Yellowstone and they were

1:04:26

yippin' at me. Like, nothing

1:04:28

like that this when it

1:04:30

moved at me, I felt

1:04:33

it, like in the earth.

1:04:35

And I told one of

1:04:37

my closest friends about it

1:04:39

and he said, I can't

1:04:41

believe you went towards it.

1:04:43

But after the encounter I

1:04:45

had a year ago, I

1:04:48

wanted to... See what what

1:04:50

it was and so that's

1:04:52

why I kept going forward

1:04:54

and like I said I've

1:04:56

been through a lot of

1:04:58

life So I'm not really

1:05:00

afraid of a lot But

1:05:03

I just kept going forward

1:05:05

and as I did it

1:05:07

moved backwards almost like it

1:05:09

levitated It didn't turn around

1:05:11

and look where it was

1:05:13

going it was looking down

1:05:15

at me and just backed

1:05:18

into the darkness. It's hard

1:05:20

to explain. It's like it

1:05:22

floated into the darkness, but

1:05:24

it was definitely a thousand

1:05:26

percent something physical because of

1:05:28

the eyes and the hair

1:05:30

like I was 20 feet

1:05:33

from it with a half

1:05:35

a million candlewatt power flashlight

1:05:37

but what I saw of

1:05:39

it and of its skin

1:05:41

and of its face and

1:05:43

of its teeth when it

1:05:45

was like growl barking at

1:05:48

me I could I could

1:05:50

vaguely see its its mouth.

1:05:52

I wasn't, it's weird, I wasn't

1:05:55

afraid. I mean, looking back, I'm

1:05:57

like, damn, that was stupid, but...

1:05:59

I wasn't afraid in the moment.

1:06:02

When you were looking at this

1:06:04

thing, what stood out to you

1:06:07

the most? Were you able to

1:06:09

get any details of the face,

1:06:11

obviously beyond the glowing red eyes,

1:06:14

which does get reported? Number one,

1:06:16

the height was like, holy smokes,

1:06:18

that's huge. The width of the

1:06:21

shoulders were very wide, I would

1:06:23

say probably three feet, three and

1:06:25

a half feet across. The face

1:06:28

had a very old look to

1:06:30

it, kind of like a baboon,

1:06:32

you know, baboons have like wrinkled

1:06:35

look to their skin. The gray

1:06:37

skin on its face, it looked,

1:06:39

it looked old. It was very

1:06:42

wrinkly looked old. It was very

1:06:44

wrinkly looked old. It was very

1:06:46

wrinkly looked old. Those two like

1:06:49

the eyes the skin the face

1:06:51

and its teeth Didn't have canines

1:06:53

it had teeth like a person

1:06:56

But it looked it didn't look

1:06:58

like a person and it didn't

1:07:01

look like an ape it looked

1:07:03

like an animal and I that's

1:07:05

weird to say even out loud,

1:07:08

but it was like a mix

1:07:10

of a few things It didn't,

1:07:12

I never thought that's a person,

1:07:15

I never thought that's an ape.

1:07:17

It was, I was just like,

1:07:19

what is that? It's like a

1:07:22

cross between everything. When it growl

1:07:24

barked at me and like I

1:07:26

felt it my feet, that freaked

1:07:29

me out, but I was like,

1:07:31

no, this is like your opportunity

1:07:33

to find out what it is.

1:07:36

And outside of its body, the

1:07:38

size, the width of the shoulders,

1:07:40

the thing that freaked me out.

1:07:43

probably more than anything even the

1:07:45

eyes because it stared me it

1:07:47

stared through me it didn't wasn't

1:07:50

like looking around or it like

1:07:52

I locked eyes with the red

1:07:54

eyes it never took its eyes

1:07:57

off me it was like looking

1:07:59

through me. But the thing that

1:08:02

freaked me out the most was

1:08:04

that it moved backwards into the

1:08:06

woods with no sound, no hesitation,

1:08:09

and a very fluid motion. And

1:08:11

that freaked me out, of course,

1:08:13

thinking about it the next day

1:08:16

and the days after, that freaked

1:08:18

me out more than anything is

1:08:20

how it moved in pitch black

1:08:23

in the middle of the woods,

1:08:25

how it moved back into the

1:08:27

woods without making a sound. And

1:08:30

I'm looking at the pictures you

1:08:33

sent me, and it does look

1:08:35

like a remote area. Looks like

1:08:37

a beautiful area. And all of

1:08:39

this is basically happening in your

1:08:42

front yard. I know you're going

1:08:44

out there hiking. Have you continued

1:08:46

to hike? No, so after that,

1:08:48

that was five weeks ago. After

1:08:51

that, of course, the adventurer in

1:08:53

me wants to go back, but

1:08:55

that was enough for me because

1:08:57

the size of the thing. The

1:09:00

creature itself the size was just

1:09:02

like I wouldn't have a chance

1:09:04

I don't even know why I

1:09:06

walked towards other than Having so

1:09:09

many things happened to me Like

1:09:11

what the house and the girl

1:09:13

and not ever having answers I

1:09:15

was like I'm gonna get answers.

1:09:18

Oh, I don't know why I

1:09:20

did that but I didn't go

1:09:22

back Although I wanted to and

1:09:24

so the property that I have

1:09:27

Which is not too far as

1:09:29

the crow flies from that encounter

1:09:31

I was a week later, I

1:09:33

was here on this property, and

1:09:36

I was walking my dog at

1:09:38

night, and because there are black

1:09:40

bears coyotes and stuff like that,

1:09:43

and black bears are coming out

1:09:45

of hibernation, and they're coming out

1:09:47

with cubs, and they're hungry and

1:09:49

can be aggressive right now. I

1:09:52

carry my firearm and my flashlight.

1:09:54

Well, I take my dog and

1:09:56

I'm walking down the property. And...

1:09:58

I'm looking down and I look

1:10:01

up with my flash. when I

1:10:03

put my flashlight up, this is

1:10:05

about four weeks ago, I see

1:10:07

something about my height and size,

1:10:10

but solid black, no features, run

1:10:12

across my flashlight from right to

1:10:14

left, in a matter of a

1:10:16

second. And my dog stopped and

1:10:19

he looked up and he stopped

1:10:21

dead in his tracks. And I

1:10:23

was like... I looked over to

1:10:25

the left and where it went

1:10:28

right to left was the woods

1:10:30

are on the right and to

1:10:32

the left is a part of

1:10:34

my property that's grated and open.

1:10:37

So there's like no trees right

1:10:39

there. It's like an acre of

1:10:41

grated openness, but there was nothing

1:10:43

there. And I was like, what

1:10:46

in the world? So I thought

1:10:48

maybe I just saw a reflection

1:10:50

or something off of the tree

1:10:52

because there's certain trees up here

1:10:55

where I'm at just off the...

1:10:57

the koala boundary that are tagged

1:10:59

and they have these little silver

1:11:02

tags with numbers on them and

1:11:04

I'm not sure forestry wise why

1:11:06

they have that but they're there

1:11:08

and I was told not to

1:11:11

remove them sometimes my flashlight will

1:11:13

hit them and they'll reflect the

1:11:15

light so I thought maybe I

1:11:17

hit one of those or something

1:11:20

that was four weeks ago and

1:11:22

so I walk him down he

1:11:24

goes to the bathroom walking back

1:11:26

up to my RV and as

1:11:29

we're walking back up my I

1:11:31

look up and I see a

1:11:33

shadow cast across my RV that

1:11:35

looks like a person, like an

1:11:38

actual person, head, shoulders, arms, legs,

1:11:40

and but it's sitting still. And

1:11:42

I was like, what in the

1:11:44

world? So I was probably 50

1:11:47

yards from my RV, so I

1:11:49

picked up the pace, turned my

1:11:51

flashlight on, and I literally watched

1:11:53

this shadow. cast walk down the

1:11:56

side of my RV and my

1:11:58

RV from the back of my

1:12:00

RV to the woods is about

1:12:02

20 feet and it into the

1:12:05

woods and I stopped and I

1:12:07

put him in my RV came

1:12:09

outside and I just sat and

1:12:12

listened and I didn't hear any

1:12:14

crunching and he walking nothing and

1:12:16

so that was the end of

1:12:18

that night and then a week

1:12:21

later which is about three weeks

1:12:23

ago I take him out for

1:12:25

walk put him in the RV

1:12:27

and I'm building a little fire

1:12:30

and I'm going to enjoy The

1:12:32

weather got nice like three weeks

1:12:34

ago down here. It's been like

1:12:36

bipolar. It'll be like 25 at

1:12:39

night and then 65 during the

1:12:41

day. It was a beautiful night.

1:12:43

It was only supposed to get

1:12:45

down into the 40s. I was

1:12:48

like, I'll build a little fire.

1:12:50

So I build a fire. I'm

1:12:52

sitting there and I hear what

1:12:54

sounds like kids like little four

1:12:57

or five year old kids talking

1:12:59

and they sound like they're talking

1:13:01

two feet behind me. And I

1:13:03

flew out of my chair and

1:13:06

spun around and I was like,

1:13:08

hello, hello, and there is, it

1:13:10

just went silent. And so I

1:13:12

started walking down the open part

1:13:15

of my property next to the

1:13:17

woods. And as I'm walking, I

1:13:19

could hear these little, it sounded

1:13:22

like little kids talking. And I

1:13:24

was like, what in the world

1:13:26

is going on? And this is

1:13:28

now like three weeks in a

1:13:31

row. And so I stopped listening

1:13:33

to see if I could make

1:13:35

out any words or anything, but

1:13:37

it just sounded like little kids

1:13:40

talking, but it was like mumbled

1:13:42

like this. And I was like,

1:13:44

what in the world? So I

1:13:46

went back up, put my fire

1:13:49

out, went to sleep, took him

1:13:51

out every day as I always

1:13:53

do. Nothing happened. Then two weeks

1:13:55

ago. come home from work, take

1:13:58

him out. He's sitting outside and

1:14:00

I've got him on a, I've

1:14:02

got like a 20-foot leash that

1:14:04

I've got tied around a big

1:14:07

tree and so he can go

1:14:09

out. and playing leaves and stuff.

1:14:11

And so he's doing that and

1:14:13

I swear I hear what sounds

1:14:16

like a baby crying. And I

1:14:18

was like, what in the world?

1:14:20

And so I go over grab

1:14:22

him, unhook him, I put him

1:14:25

in the RV, and I had

1:14:27

music playing inside and outside my

1:14:29

RV, I shut the music off

1:14:31

and I'm just standing there and

1:14:34

it sounds like, eh, like a

1:14:36

baby crying. And I was like.

1:14:38

It's maybe coyotes or a fox

1:14:41

or something because I've heard almost

1:14:43

every animal in nature and there's

1:14:45

some crazy sounds that they could

1:14:47

make. And I was like, oh,

1:14:50

maybe it's that. Well, I sent

1:14:52

you a picture west from the

1:14:54

property that I'm at right now

1:14:56

talking to you and across the

1:14:59

way as the crows fly, it's

1:15:01

probably half a mile across to

1:15:03

the next mountain. Well, after this

1:15:05

baby sound I heard stopped. about

1:15:08

10 minutes later, I hear a

1:15:10

roar from the mountain I sent

1:15:12

you a picture of, which is

1:15:14

half mile away, but I'm up

1:15:17

high elevation, so it looks a

1:15:19

lot closer. I hear a roar

1:15:21

that almost sounded like the Ohio

1:15:23

Howl style, but it was deeper

1:15:26

and it was louder and it

1:15:28

was longer, and it was longer,

1:15:30

and it was And the thing

1:15:32

about it is, it probably lasted,

1:15:35

I recorded it on audio, and

1:15:37

I think it was, which you

1:15:39

know, time second-wise is a lot

1:15:41

longer than we think. I think

1:15:44

it was like 21 seconds this

1:15:46

roar. But what really freaked me

1:15:48

out was it stopped, and I

1:15:51

was like standing there going, that's

1:15:53

cool. I wonder if it's going

1:15:55

to do it again, because obviously

1:15:57

I knew it was so far

1:16:00

away. Well, out of nowhere, I'm...

1:16:02

about two football fields from the

1:16:04

top of the mountain that I'm

1:16:06

on. It's just straight woods up

1:16:09

like two football fields. Out of

1:16:11

nowhere, like an answering roar comes

1:16:13

from directly behind me back at

1:16:15

that one. And it like shook

1:16:18

me so bad I'd like ran

1:16:20

inside my RV and locked my

1:16:22

door. But it continued, they went

1:16:24

back and forth from like my

1:16:27

mountain top and that mountain top

1:16:29

is on the Cherokee reservation. I

1:16:31

sent you a picture of it.

1:16:33

It went, it was like they

1:16:36

were communicating back and forth. Like

1:16:38

it was so deep, so loud

1:16:40

back and forth that inside my

1:16:42

RV and I'm holding my dog

1:16:45

because I'm like, don't bark. Because

1:16:47

I felt that was the first

1:16:49

time I felt even being close

1:16:51

to that creature that was backing

1:16:54

in the woods. These roars with

1:16:56

one sounding like it was on

1:16:58

top of my mountain answering back.

1:17:01

I felt scared. I felt like

1:17:03

threatened. So I picked up my

1:17:05

dog and I was like, oh,

1:17:07

please don't make any noise. Don't

1:17:10

bark. And I could hear them

1:17:12

with my RV door shut and

1:17:14

locked. I could hear them back

1:17:16

and forth. And I could feel

1:17:19

it. My RV. And that scared

1:17:21

the crap out of me. And

1:17:23

that was just two weeks ago.

1:17:25

And so that's what I'm dealing

1:17:28

with now and now I have

1:17:30

something happening like every week Yeah,

1:17:32

it sounds like it's ramping up

1:17:34

and you'll often see that with

1:17:37

their behavior It's my opinion of

1:17:39

course, but a lot of times

1:17:41

in that curiosity takes over man

1:17:43

you start going into their area

1:17:46

and you know, it's and I

1:17:48

get the curiosity part but then

1:17:50

they start coming in your area

1:17:52

and it starts to get a

1:17:55

little uncomfortable and there's somewhat of

1:17:57

a frustration that builds up because

1:17:59

you know, you don't know what they're

1:18:02

going to do, you don't know,

1:18:04

it's the unknown I guess. And

1:18:06

I've had many reports of

1:18:08

eyewitnesses saying they've heard

1:18:10

children laughing, children playing,

1:18:13

strange vocals that you

1:18:15

wouldn't necessarily hear in the

1:18:17

forest in the middle of

1:18:19

nowhere. It's not like there's a

1:18:22

park nearby where there would be

1:18:24

kids playing, but that does

1:18:26

get reported in the glowing

1:18:28

eyes. That gets reported more

1:18:30

than more than I think most

1:18:32

people realize. I've heard it so

1:18:35

many times or eyes glowing like

1:18:37

Christmas lights. I would be very

1:18:39

very careful in that area.

1:18:41

Definitely keep an eye on your dog

1:18:43

and I would try to avoid

1:18:45

confrontation at all costs because

1:18:48

you're not going to win and

1:18:50

you're alone. You're up there.

1:18:52

It's just you and your dog and

1:18:54

just you're in your dog and

1:18:56

just be careful man. You know

1:18:59

I asked everyone on the show

1:19:01

what do you think

1:19:03

Sasquatch is what's your

1:19:05

take? You know I figured

1:19:08

you were going to ask

1:19:10

me that I don't honestly

1:19:12

I don't know I think if

1:19:14

I had to give an answer

1:19:16

it is there definitely

1:19:19

I don't believe that and

1:19:21

I've heard lots of

1:19:24

people talk about different

1:19:26

things listening to

1:19:28

your show and other encounters.

1:19:30

Me personally, everything I've

1:19:33

come across, there's nothing

1:19:35

that tells me that

1:19:37

it's some human animal

1:19:39

hybrid. I believe that it's

1:19:41

gotta be, I think that

1:19:44

it's definitely part animal,

1:19:46

but I feel like there's

1:19:48

something paranormal to it

1:19:50

because just of the. the way

1:19:53

it moved that when it

1:19:55

moved backwards into the darkness

1:19:57

of the woods with dead

1:19:59

silence. There wasn't footsteps,

1:20:01

there wasn't breaking branches,

1:20:03

there wasn't smells, it

1:20:05

just moved away from

1:20:07

me with such fluidity

1:20:09

into the darkness. I

1:20:11

feel like there's a

1:20:13

paranormal aspect to it. That's

1:20:15

not of this earth, not of

1:20:18

what we live in, but there's

1:20:20

definitely an animal part

1:20:22

to it, I feel like, because

1:20:25

of the skin color, the way it

1:20:27

looked, the hair. And I also

1:20:29

sent you some pictures of

1:20:31

some footprints because that one that

1:20:33

with the red eyes that moved backwards,

1:20:35

I went back there the very,

1:20:37

like as soon as it got

1:20:39

daylight out, I went back up

1:20:42

there and there was footprints and

1:20:44

I took pictures of them by

1:20:46

themselves and with my size 11s

1:20:48

next to it. So I feel

1:20:50

like it's animal, paranormal, but

1:20:52

human, not at all. That's just

1:20:54

my opinion. I don't think it's...

1:20:56

an animal human hybrid or

1:20:59

a lost link of

1:21:01

people. I believe that

1:21:03

it's animal and paranormal

1:21:05

is what I think.

1:21:07

That's my personal opinion.

1:21:09

Yeah, and you may not be too

1:21:11

far off, man. Let's hope for

1:21:14

both of our sakes you're

1:21:16

completely wrong. You know, keep me

1:21:18

up to date. It sounds

1:21:21

like this definitely isn't going

1:21:23

to be the end of it.

1:21:25

And send me the audio. I'll see

1:21:27

if I can't clean it up

1:21:29

and amplify it for you. But

1:21:31

definitely, I mean, you have my

1:21:34

cell phone. Let me know if anything

1:21:36

else happens, will you? Absolutely,

1:21:38

for sure. I'm sure it will.

1:21:40

It's been every week for the

1:21:42

last five weeks, so I'm sure

1:21:44

that's not the end of it.

1:21:47

Yeah, it doesn't sound like it.

1:21:49

I really appreciate you coming on

1:21:51

Drew. Really enjoyed chatting with you

1:21:53

man. Be safe and stay in

1:21:56

1:21:58

1:22:02

1:22:05

stories because you know I

1:22:07

I started listening to your

1:22:09

stuff a few years ago

1:22:11

post COVID and hadn't other

1:22:13

than the 2009 incident with

1:22:15

the girl in the house

1:22:17

hadn't had anything too crazy

1:22:19

in the woods but this

1:22:21

is like open eyes to

1:22:23

a whole new whole new

1:22:25

side of the world I

1:22:27

didn't know existed and I

1:22:30

appreciate you for having a Place

1:22:32

for people to tell their stories

1:22:34

and what people can talk about

1:22:36

it and not I haven't told

1:22:38

I've told a handful of my

1:22:40

closest friends because I don't want

1:22:42

people to think I'm crazy Thanks

1:22:44

for the kind of words man.

1:22:46

I really appreciate it and thank

1:22:48

you again for coming on and

1:22:50
