On a late November night

0:02

in 2012, while driving in

0:04

the foothills of Washington, two

0:06

brothers were surrounded by mysterious

0:08

creatures. Still haunted and forever

0:10

changed, these men took to

0:13

the internet, creating a forum

0:15

for others. If you've had

0:17

an encounter, and no one

0:19

else can help, maybe you

0:21

can contact Sasquatch Chronicles. It

0:32

looked like somebody

0:34

was bent over and

0:37

had their head in

0:39

the window of the

0:41

deer blind and it

0:44

either heard me or

0:47

smelled me and he

0:49

pulled his head out

0:51

of the tent and

0:53

stood straight up

0:56

and that that shocked

0:58

me. The

1:02

way it moved. Almost

1:04

as if it was gliding

1:06

across the beach. I've never

1:09

seen anything move like that

1:11

in my life. They were

1:13

screaming at each other in

1:16

gibberish. It sounded like a

1:18

language and they were

1:20

chuttering away back and

1:23

forward, back and forward,

1:26

back and forward.

1:28

I know what

1:31

a bear

1:33

looks

1:35

like and

1:38

there is

1:41

no way

1:44

on this

1:47

planet but

1:50

what I

1:53

saw bears.

2:01

This is Colonel

2:15

Boom. Welcome

2:51

to the show everyone. Thanks for

2:54

being here tonight. Got a great

2:56

show planned for you. We'll be

2:58

chatting with Todd and his ex-wife

3:01

Kerry. And they had a scary

3:03

night while camping in Arkansas. This

3:06

happened about almost a year ago.

3:08

They were actually run out of

3:10

this camp. And I'll let Todd

3:13

go into it. I interviewed Kerry

3:15

separately due to schedule conflicts, but

3:17

I've inserted her into this interview.

3:20

to kind of give her perspective

3:22

on what happened that night as

3:25

well. I want to thank Matt,

3:27

Cliff, and Bobo for having me

3:29

on their podcast Bigfoot and beyond.

3:32

Had a great time with the

3:34

boys. Check it out if you

3:36

get a chance. Bigfoot and beyond.

3:39

Whatever podcast player you're listening to

3:41

Saswatch Chronicles on, give them a

3:44

listen if you're not already. If

3:46

you've had an encounter. And you'd

3:48

like to be on the show?

3:51

Shoot me an email. My email

3:53

address is west at sasquatchchronicals.com. And

3:55

if you get a chance to

3:58

check out sasquatch chronic. You can

4:00

become a member and get additional

4:03

shows. Let's jump into it tonight.

4:05

I want to welcome Todd to

4:07

the show, but Todd, thanks for

4:10

coming on. Thank you for having

4:12

you, man. It's an honor. Now,

4:14

the honor is mine, Todd. Thank

4:17

you for being here, and I'll

4:19

kind of plug Kerry in throughout

4:22

this interview to kind of give

4:24

her perspective as far as what

4:26

was going on, but... If you

4:29

would, would you start from the

4:31

very beginning. What were you guys

4:33

doing and what happened? It was

4:36

May 8th of last year and

4:38

we had a cabin booked in

4:40

Broken Boat, Oklahoma and we're from

4:42

South Louisiana, like very South Louisiana

4:44

in a town called Homa. So

4:47

we decided to drive up the

4:49

day of the eighth, find a

4:51

place to tent camp for the

4:53

night, you know, just do that.

4:55

head to the cabin the next

4:57

evening once we finished exploring wherever

4:59

we were. So originally we were

5:02

headed to Little Missouri Falls. One

5:04

of my coworkers told me about

5:06

a good little camping spot that's

5:08

like maybe a mile in and

5:10

kind of explained to me how

5:12

to get to it and all

5:14

of that. So that was where

5:17

we were heading. But we ended

5:19

up just kind of taking our

5:21

time, you know, we wasn't rushing

5:23

to get anywhere. We was just

5:25

kind of... You know, enjoying the

5:27

O.A. time and the time alone.

5:30

And we stopped in Falk, Arkansas

5:32

at Kerry's Best Friend's house for

5:34

a while. We probably stayed there

5:36

for maybe an hour and a

5:38

half, and by the time we

5:40

was leading, it was getting dark.

5:42

I've never been to the Missouri

5:45

Falls, never been in that area

5:47

at all, really, except for, around

5:49

hot springs, and watch the Tall

5:51

Lake area. We leave a best

5:53

friend's house and we head into

5:55

Little Missouri Falls Trailhead. we

5:57

stopped to get

6:00

something to eat

6:02

and we get an alert

6:04

on our phones like a weather alert and

6:06

it was a tornado warning for the

6:08

county that little Missouri falls

6:10

is in and the day

6:12

before or maybe the day before

6:15

that while I was at home

6:17

I was just kind of researching

6:19

the area and finding different places

6:21

you know so any kind of

6:23

backup ideas so I remember

6:25

looking up type finding cosy

6:28

type real estate park whatever

6:30

it is so we

6:32

decided to head there so we

6:34

drove another two hours probably on

6:37

a like a half

6:39

half pavement half gravel

6:42

road then we turned

6:44

off that road onto another little

6:46

dirt mountain road winding around

6:48

the mountain probably about maybe five

6:50

miles back more into the

6:52

mountains and it was so far

6:54

back there man to where I

6:56

was getting ready to turn around and

6:59

just head out and go find

7:01

a hotel room because you know it

7:03

was getting late and I didn't

7:05

know how far this campground was so

7:08

like around the next bend we ended

7:10

up finding it I think

7:12

was about 11 o 'clock at night

7:14

it was pretty late so everything

7:16

was really dark and quiet I

7:18

remember pulling into the parking lot

7:20

of the campground and there's like a

7:22

board with maps and you know

7:24

all the the things that campgrounds have

7:26

so I sat in the car

7:28

a while Todd got out and he

7:30

went look you know at the

7:33

area I guess and just kind

7:35

of got some info and

7:37

that's when I immediately

7:39

started feeling um just

7:41

weird like I don't

7:43

I don't know how to explain it

7:45

I'm not scared but like something was looking

7:47

at me something was there something like

7:49

I just I felt on edge like

7:51

there wasn't any reason for it I

7:53

just had never been there it was

7:55

dark I was uncomfortable and it just felt

7:58

like like we were being watched you

8:00

know, so when he got back in the call,

8:02

like I just, I was just so

8:04

nervous. So we drive in, you know, I get

8:06

out, I go walk up to the

8:09

information board, you know, whatever you

8:11

want to call it, and I, you know,

8:13

you fill out your tag and put your

8:15

money in a thing, whatever. I, I kind

8:17

of, I guess I can say I had a

8:19

weird feeling of being a watch, but

8:22

I've been in the woods my whole life,

8:24

doing any time you in the

8:26

woods, something's watching you, something's watching

8:28

you. whether it's a big foot

8:30

or a bird, something is watching

8:32

you. So I kind of just

8:34

learned to brush that off as a

8:36

kid, but Kerry said that she was

8:39

feeling like she was, she had a,

8:41

I guess, stronger feeling of it

8:43

would be the word. So we filled

8:45

out a little car and jumped back

8:47

in the truck, drove to the

8:49

end of the campground, turned around.

8:51

I mean, it's only like six

8:54

little campsites, man, along the river.

8:56

Turn around and we ended up

8:58

picking campsite too So we went to

9:00

the site and we started setting up the

9:03

tent right when we got there because

9:05

we wanted to you know It was

9:07

late. We wanted to get it all

9:09

set up and then we're gonna go

9:11

explore So we set up the tent

9:13

um everything was fine and I

9:15

wanted to go to the river to try

9:17

out a new life straw that I had just

9:19

bought on the way there Todd had bought this

9:21

new water straw that he bought this

9:24

new water straw that he wanted to

9:26

try out So he wanted to get

9:28

close to the water, so he went

9:30

kind of into the middle of big

9:33

pile of rocks towards the middle

9:35

of the creek. And he was

9:37

trying to get closer down to

9:39

drink from the straw, as you

9:42

know, kind of tested out. So

9:44

in order to get to the river,

9:46

we got to cross the road that

9:48

passes in front of all the

9:50

campsites in and on the other

9:52

side of that road is the river.

9:54

10 to 15 foot patch of

9:57

woods, you know, along the

9:59

river. And so we walked across

10:01

the road, went through a break in

10:03

the fence, and into the trees, and

10:06

there was a little trail that led

10:08

straight to the river there. Well, we

10:10

walked as soon as we made it

10:12

into the woods. I noticed the tree

10:15

break immediately. To my right, it was

10:17

on the right side of the trail.

10:19

It wasn't a really big tree, but

10:22

it was way bigger than me, you

10:24

or any other human being I know

10:26

could just snap the way that it

10:28

was. It was pretty high up. And

10:31

it's like you just grabbed it and

10:33

just snapped it with ease. Continue to

10:35

walk towards the river. And you know,

10:37

she got ahead of me about four

10:40

or five steps. So I turn around

10:42

and before I'm even, you know, finish

10:44

turning around, I see another one on

10:47

the left on the other side of

10:49

the trail. This is a much bigger

10:51

treat, though, probably like, uh, maybe like

10:53

the, about as big a round as

10:56

a 20 ounce coat bottle, you know,

10:58

maybe a little bit smaller than that.

11:00

And this one was kind of twisted

11:02

and then it was like, I guess,

11:05

a dental, not snapped. It was just,

11:07

you know, twisted really hard and then

11:09

pushed down to the ground. And we

11:11

both seen it, just kind of blew

11:14

it off, you know, even though we

11:16

was already into Bigfoot and all that,

11:18

we both believed. It's just one of

11:21

the things you think is never going

11:23

to happen to this night. So we

11:25

get back on the road. and we

11:27

will walk in along the river, but

11:30

on the road, and then we get

11:32

back to where the information board is

11:34

and where you make a left to

11:36

exit the campground, or you can keep

11:39

going straight by walking, and you end

11:41

up on the River Corridor Trail is

11:43

the name of it. And probably about

11:46

maybe 25, 30 yards into that trail,

11:48

there's a break in the, like the

11:50

grass on the river bank. There's a

11:52

little trail that goes through it and

11:55

goes to the river where there's some

11:57

big enough rocks that I can jump

11:59

out You know took maybe to the middle

12:01

of river or wherever it would be easiest for me

12:03

to get access to water You know to where I

12:05

got a squat down and put the straw in the

12:07

water so as I'm You know

12:10

squatting down to go do that. I

12:12

kind of just kind of glance at

12:14

my surroundings and I catch Something

12:16

shining on the riverbank that we literally

12:18

just walked by and At

12:21

first, you know, I wasn't alone or

12:23

anything. The first thing I

12:25

thought was a deer until I noticed the size

12:27

of this circle And

12:29

then it was just one it was

12:31

just like one big glowing circle

12:35

So we both thought it was an orb He's

12:37

like Kerry look over there and I'm

12:40

like what so he points and I

12:42

look off to The left

12:44

side kind of like along the

12:46

bank and there's like this little Single

12:49

glowing to me it looked like an orb.

12:51

I'm like, what is that that looks like

12:54

an orb? You know and he's like, no,

12:56

that's an eye and I'm like, are you sure?

12:58

and then it kind of like was just

13:00

kind of moving sideways kind of like Not

13:02

bobbin, but kind of like, you

13:04

know going motion sideways and It

13:08

kind of just like faded out after a second

13:10

and when I saw that It

13:13

it creeped me out because I felt like

13:15

I was very vulnerable in the middle of

13:17

rocks on water And that if it would

13:19

happen to come closer. I didn't know what

13:21

it was. I had no idea But if

13:23

it would happen to come closer, I just

13:25

felt like I was not in a good

13:28

position, you know, like I was I was

13:30

scared so The level that

13:32

it was was right at the

13:34

top of the the grass that was

13:36

on the riverbank Which

13:38

is about chest height maybe a little bit

13:40

more than me or was at that time

13:42

about chest height to me I don't five

13:44

foot six. I'm kind of just

13:46

looking at this trying to figure out what it is

13:48

because it's not making sense and Then

13:50

it blinks and I

13:52

realized it's an eye I've

13:55

never seen an eye that big in my life so

14:00

was going down my spine, dude. Like

14:02

I knew something wasn't right, but I

14:04

wasn't scared, so to say. I

14:06

wasn't really really concerned, but I just

14:08

had a feeling that something wasn't right.

14:10

So she's, you know, once she's, you know,

14:13

she's kind of freaking out too, trying

14:15

to call me back off the rocks,

14:17

and she's trying to get back off to

14:19

the bank. After about, you know, 20

14:21

seconds of looking at this thing, I was,

14:23

and I still want to try my life

14:25

to try my life for my life. after

14:28

about 20 seconds of just

14:30

looking and, you know, hesitating to

14:32

try to life stroll, I walked

14:34

off. But now we got to walk back

14:37

up this trail that we just

14:39

came down to where this thing was.

14:41

He was between the trail and

14:43

the river, on the riverbank in

14:45

the tall grass. We moved, we

14:47

got off the rocks. We kind of

14:49

went backwards to, like, back

14:51

down the trail through the rocks, all

14:54

that stuff, back down to the campsite.

14:56

and the entire time I was just

14:58

kind of like looking around trying to

15:00

see if I could see anything the

15:03

whole walk back because we really had

15:05

to pass next to the spot where

15:07

we saw this so once we got past

15:09

that we got back to the campsite

15:12

we get to the tent and start making

15:14

you know start getting our tent

15:16

up tender together for a fire

15:18

you know just the normal shit you

15:21

do when you're camping and got the

15:23

fire going and She was just kind

15:25

of looking around and I think

15:27

I was still picking up

15:29

some sticks, you know, to put aside

15:31

for her later and I hear her

15:34

call me. So I go up to where she's

15:36

at and all we have are, we

15:38

each have like one of those

15:40

little energizer headlights. You know, they

15:43

take like three AAA batteries.

15:45

They're pretty right. But the

15:47

thing that she wanted me to

15:49

look at was as we were collecting

15:52

the wood. I happen to look

15:54

up and I can't say how

15:56

far away it was. It was

15:58

a good 200 feet. or more.

16:00

I'm not sure I'm not going

16:02

to go with measurements, but there

16:04

was a big tree and next

16:07

to the tree was one one

16:09

glowing orb again and I mean

16:11

it wasn't it wasn't small like

16:13

an eye like it was bigger

16:15

it was it was a white

16:17

kind of glow to it. It

16:19

wasn't it, it wasn't eyeshine, like

16:21

eyeshine is completely different. I've seen,

16:24

I mean we have deer all

16:26

over the place on side the

16:28

roads around here, so I've seen,

16:30

you know, eyeshine. It was more

16:32

of like a golf ball size,

16:34

just white light. So as I'm

16:36

looking at it, I say, Todd,

16:38

what is that? Standing behind a

16:41

tree, a very, very big pine

16:43

tree is right. And it's... So

16:45

it would have been its right

16:47

shoulder. It would have been leaning

16:49

to its right. And I'll make

16:51

eye contact with it. It's watching

16:53

me. Watch it. And it's the

16:55

same color as whatever I saw

16:58

on the riverbank as that eye,

17:00

I guess is what it was.

17:02

I can't make nothing else out

17:04

of it. It was the same

17:06

color as that, but it was

17:08

a set of eyes. It was

17:10

two. Two eyes. We're both just

17:12

staring at it, kind of uphill

17:15

from us. And... The one eye

17:17

kind of goes to the side

17:19

and then there's two and then

17:21

you can see it kind of

17:23

moving and then it blinks. A

17:25

little bit bigger than a golf

17:27

ball, but not quite as big

17:29

as like a tennis ball, but

17:32

they were big and at least

17:34

six to seven inches apart. And

17:36

my mind's kind of just not

17:38

knowing what to do is telling

17:40

me dear, you know, or something

17:42

and then I kind of snap

17:44

out of that and I'm like

17:46

no this is not a dear

17:49

man this thing is seven foot

17:51

off the ground and it's got

17:53

eyes the size of damn lemons

17:55

almost so it it goes back

17:57

behind a tree couldn't like completely

17:59

couldn't see that's so behind a tree

18:01

for just a few seconds and

18:04

it kind of like you'll see the

18:06

one eye come back from behind the

18:08

tree right after that you see

18:10

the second one following it the

18:12

left eye and it's just looking at

18:15

us we're looking at it and it

18:17

blinks and that moment is

18:19

a moment I will never forget

18:21

because I've been I've literally grew

18:23

up in the swamp like I

18:25

could if I wanted to

18:28

hunt rabbitsits and squirrels I

18:30

go out my back door. If

18:32

I want to go hunt deer,

18:34

hogs, whatever, big game, I go out

18:36

the front door. Literally.

18:38

Then this thing blinked, dude.

18:41

And I've seen a lot

18:43

of different animals at night,

18:45

you know, the way the eyes do

18:47

and how they look. And this was

18:50

100% a flat face. This was

18:52

not anything with a snout.

18:54

It's a flat face just like

18:56

we got. And the way I can tell.

18:59

All the way I could tell was by

19:01

the way that it blinked. Okay, if

19:03

you're looking straight at a

19:05

deer, if he's facing you, you facing

19:07

him like I was with this thing,

19:09

whenever that deer blinks, you'll see

19:12

the eyes kind of go on the

19:14

side, like they're on the side of

19:16

his head, so they'll, you know, they'll

19:18

close differently, they'll

19:20

look differently, compared to

19:23

humans or anything with a flat

19:25

face. This thing definitely had a

19:27

flat face his eyes were right

19:29

next to each other not on

19:31

the side of his head or

19:33

anything like that So he goes

19:35

back behind the tree and uh we'd

19:38

sit down watch for like 10 or

19:40

15 more minutes and we see

19:42

nothing and then after it blinks

19:44

I'm like I'm speechless. I'm just

19:47

watching and it goes you know

19:49

more towards the left and then

19:51

um kind of just either closes

19:53

his eyes or goes behind something

19:56

because it's just gone. And I was

19:58

staring at it for a long time. I'm just

20:00

trying to, you know, see, like

20:02

the whole time we went back

20:04

to collecting firewood, going build the

20:06

fire, and I'm just constantly looking

20:08

towards where it was, and I

20:10

just, I don't see anything. So

20:12

by this time, it's like 1230,

20:14

you know, one in the morning,

20:16

and we're kind of wrapping it

20:18

up, and even though I knew

20:20

in the back of my mind,

20:22

I knew what just happened, it

20:24

didn't really bother me for some

20:26

reason. I wasn't really concerned. Maybe

20:29

it's because I didn't feel any kind

20:31

of threat at all from the, you

20:33

know, from him watching me. So we

20:35

just went into tent, man. We kind

20:38

of talked about her a little bit,

20:40

and she fell asleep first, and I

20:42

wasn't long after I fell asleep. We

20:44

are really building the fire. I'm looking

20:47

around still, and I decided to turn

20:49

my head lamp off, and I don't

20:51

remember seeing the moon out, but I

20:53

remember turning my head lamp off. and

20:55

I couldn't even see my hand in

20:58

front of my face and I got

21:00

so creeped out I just pictured I

21:02

mean I don't even know it was

21:04

it was scary so I turned my

21:07

hand lay back on and I mean

21:09

we kind of talked for a little

21:11

bit when like all right you know

21:13

are you ready to go to bed

21:15

we'll go in the tent and lay

21:18

down so I want to say it

21:20

was like one maybe one 30 in

21:22

the morning we finally went inside and

21:24

we might lay down and it kind

21:27

of took a minute to fall asleep.

21:29

I was, I don't know, I felt

21:31

on edge, but eventually I dozed off

21:33

and I think Todd dozed off too.

21:35

But all I know is at three,

21:38

three o'clock in the morning, he woke

21:40

me up and he says, Kerry, they're

21:42

here. And I'm like, what do you

21:44

mean? He's like, they're here, they're by

21:47

the truck. I'm like, what are you

21:49

talking about? He says, I just heard

21:51

one hit the truck, they're right here.

21:53

by I don't know what which is

21:55

often because usually if I wake up

21:58

as you know for a reason. So

22:00

I'm trying to, you know,

22:03

get comfortable and go back

22:05

to sleep. And I start

22:07

hearing bipedal footsteps

22:10

coming from the direction,

22:12

the, like a B-line direction

22:14

from where this thing was.

22:17

If they come in from that

22:19

way, and they come in very,

22:21

very slow, impatient,

22:23

but definitely bipedal.

22:26

And whenever we first

22:28

saw it, It was probably like 70

22:30

yards up the mountain. Like we was

22:32

looking up the slope of the mountain

22:35

and he was probably like 70 yards

22:37

up. By the time we got in the

22:39

tent, it was probably about a

22:41

hundred yard distance between him

22:43

and the tent. And it took him

22:45

almost 45 minutes to cover that

22:48

distance. I think he was going from

22:50

tree to tree, like he would walk up

22:52

to one tree, you know, hide behind it

22:54

for a second or whatever. And then

22:56

he'd, you know, walk to another tree.

22:58

Well. She hadn't woke you up

23:00

yet and I hadn't woke her

23:02

up because I still wasn't really

23:04

sure what was happening. I've had

23:06

animals coming to camp and all that

23:08

before but you know I just want to

23:11

make sure I wasn't overreacting

23:13

because of the situation that just

23:15

happened. So it's still coming

23:17

in and it's getting closer and

23:19

now it's within probably 25,

23:22

30 yards and then all of a sudden.

23:24

All right so let me lay this out

23:26

for you real quick. I'm laying on our

23:28

backs. The river and the road

23:30

and then the river is to our

23:32

right That's where we see in

23:34

the first one on the left. It's

23:37

just like the slope the incline

23:39

of the mountain it goes up So

23:41

on the right where the vehicle

23:43

is backed in to the parking

23:46

spot I heard Something soft.

23:48

It wasn't nothing real hard

23:50

like a corner. It wasn't anything

23:53

that fell out of a tree.

23:55

I've been hearing that my whole

23:57

life It was something like a padded

23:59

hand. it kind of just sunk

24:01

the side of the truck like it

24:03

wanted to I don't like you know

24:06

you get the tires where he just

24:08

hit the the hood I guess it

24:10

was because the truck was back then

24:13

and definitely realize what was going on

24:15

that I had we had two of

24:17

them there one was coming in from

24:20

where we see him and the other

24:22

one was coming in complete opposite direction

24:24

and he was coming straight for the

24:27

camp so I woke her up and

24:29

the first thing I told it was

24:31

I was like they here. It took

24:33

her a second to kind of, you

24:36

know, gather her thoughts and wake up

24:38

and then she would, she listened and

24:40

she knew I wasn't BSing at that

24:43

point. So she starts really freaking out.

24:45

And I'm like, what do you mean

24:47

you heard it? He says he heard

24:50

like, um, kind of like a knuckle,

24:52

the back of the knuckle would like

24:54

tap the truck or something, you know,

24:57

like it was a specific like, you

24:59

know, so um... When he said that,

25:01

I was like, okay, so I kind

25:03

of like I was laying on my

25:06

stomach uncomfortable I turned around I laid

25:08

on my back and we just sat

25:10

there quietly just listening and I don't

25:13

know how long after that exactly it

25:15

started, but It's so creepy to think

25:17

back to it. Um, there was kind

25:20

of around the area where we heard,

25:22

um, not where we heard, I'm sorry,

25:24

where we saw the first glow down

25:27

by the creek, which is the way

25:29

we're laying it's off to my left

25:31

kind of like towards our feet. There

25:33

was an owl call and it did

25:36

three hoops and then stopped but as

25:38

that last hoop was stopping right next

25:40

to me kind of by our heads

25:43

to the left picked up another one

25:45

and it hooted a few times and

25:47

then we hear the first owl mimic

25:50

and I know a lot of people

25:52

say that I don't care what anybody

25:54

says. I grew up in the swamp

25:57

due to my dad was a commercial

25:59

cross fishermen and owls. like they would

26:01

get to his cruffish cages and

26:03

tear him up to get to

26:06

the cruffish inside. So you

26:08

could not imagine what my job

26:10

was when I went with him

26:12

in the woods. So nobody can

26:14

tell me that this was not, I

26:17

mean that this was an hour. This

26:19

was 100% not an hour. It did

26:21

a call. The one on our left

26:23

made the same call. And then

26:25

the one that's on the right

26:28

made the same call right back,

26:30

but immediately after it's like his

26:32

voice wasn't even finished. The I

26:34

will mimic it and there was

26:37

the samurai chatter. And I

26:39

swear to God I freaked out.

26:41

The end of the second one

26:43

replying to the first one, it

26:46

had the chatter. It had no

26:48

mistaken Bigfoot chatter. Like there's there's

26:50

no explanation for that. It was.

26:53

It was insane and my hair

26:55

immediately stood up my heart

26:57

started pounding. I felt my

26:59

blood whooshing through my body

27:01

like the adrenaline was insane.

27:03

It was the scariest thing I've ever

27:05

heard because I mean I've listened

27:07

to your show probably two or

27:10

three years now. I don't know if

27:12

I told you I'm kind of a

27:14

fan. I've been hearing you know all

27:16

the sound clips you play everything and

27:18

it sounded exactly like that like it

27:20

was a deep just chatter like a

27:22

deep voice it sounded just the

27:25

scariest thing I've ever heard um so

27:27

yeah after that happened I was

27:29

um I knew for sure I

27:31

was like okay he's not lying

27:33

I'm like they're here they're actually

27:35

here I've heard so many stories

27:38

of you know watch podcast I've

27:40

never encountered any of them I

27:42

mean I just I figured they

27:44

were real but I didn't know

27:46

until that exact moment because there's

27:48

no way that that was you know

27:50

fake there wasn't I don't even know

27:52

how to explain it. I'm just

27:54

going back to it kind of

27:57

throws me off. It was, I'm gonna

27:59

sound goof. kind of trying to

28:01

replete it, but it was like,

28:03

um, like a hoo-loo-l-loo. So it

28:05

was, it wasn't slow, but it

28:07

wasn't like fast fast fast, but

28:09

it was, it was creepy. It

28:11

was, oh my goodness, it makes

28:14

my heart pound just thinking about

28:16

it, because I've heard every time

28:18

you play vocals on your podcast,

28:20

I kind of get, you know,

28:22

the hair stinging up, and it's

28:24

just a creepy sound, you know,

28:26

like, like, knowing that there's something

28:28

out there's. have a whole conversation

28:30

in these these vocals. I mean,

28:32

I don't know how to explain

28:34

it. And I think that's when

28:37

it really sunk in for Kerry.

28:39

Because I think that solidified it

28:41

for her right there. They real

28:43

and they hear and we don't

28:45

know what they are. So we

28:47

could be in danger. You know,

28:49

I don't know what these things

28:51

intentions were, man. You know, I

28:53

don't know what they are. I

28:55

don't know what they want. I

28:58

don't know what they're capable of.

29:00

So it got pretty, pretty intense

29:02

in that tent, man. Not even

29:04

like 15 minutes later, behind our

29:06

heads, we had these windows on

29:08

every side of the tent. And

29:10

I wanted to keep them down,

29:12

but I wanted to keep them

29:14

down because I wanted to see

29:16

what was around me. Like I

29:18

didn't want something coming up. to

29:21

the tent and not being able

29:23

to see or know, you know,

29:25

and he wanted the windows up.

29:27

So that was kind of a

29:29

debate when we first went lay

29:31

down, but he kind of caved

29:33

and he let me keep him

29:35

down. So I'm laying there and

29:37

I'm kind of looking, you know,

29:39

out the windows and I'm scared

29:41

to sit up and look. So

29:44

I'm kind of just seeing the

29:46

laying down position, just the sky.

29:48

So I can't really see too

29:50

much. But behind our heads. there

29:52

is like a songbird. It wasn't

29:54

like a tweet, it was just

29:56

like a little, like a whistle,

29:58

like a songbird whistle. And it

30:00

was just one little short whistle

30:03

and then like that was about

30:05

it from that. I never heard

30:07

that again after that. So as

30:09

of now, there's like three

30:11

different positions. It sounds like they

30:14

have, you know, things coming from

30:16

three different sides. And he tells

30:18

me that he feels like that there's

30:21

one on his side of the window,

30:23

which is is on. He's on my

30:25

left side, so on my right side would

30:27

be the side that the other ones were

30:29

coming from. So on our left he said

30:31

like up the hill where I saw those

30:33

eyes, he felt like some some noise was

30:36

coming from back there. And I

30:38

kind of, I was hearing, to

30:40

me it sounded like things dropping from

30:42

the trees like leaves dropping and hitting

30:44

the tent, like just small little

30:46

bitty noises, not big rocks, none of

30:49

that. It was just little. but

30:51

just little bitty things dropping so

30:54

in my head I assumed you

30:56

know leaves are falling maybe acorns

30:58

um and it didn't really sound

31:00

like they were going all over

31:03

the the campground it just

31:05

sounded like it was hitting

31:07

our tent so it's possible that

31:09

they were throwing little pebbles trying

31:11

to get reactions out of us

31:14

or I mean I'm not sure. To

31:16

me, I just, I try to be

31:18

a realist and I try to explain

31:20

everything and I'm like, no, that was

31:22

just leaves, you know. We could hear

31:24

pebbles being thrown at the tent. You

31:26

can hear them hit the tent because

31:29

Carrie said she thought it was leaves

31:31

falling. I was like, no, I don't

31:33

think there's any leaves falling in

31:35

me. That's when she realized that they

31:38

were throwing rocks at the tent. So

31:40

we're kind of laying down listening to

31:42

that at this point. And there's, you

31:44

know, maybe I rock every 10 or

31:46

15 seconds. I think they were just

31:49

trying to see if we was awake,

31:51

like if they can get a reaction

31:53

out of it. So one thing I could

31:55

come up with is why they would be

31:57

doing that besides immature. So.

32:00

Now the one that came down from

32:02

the mountain on my left

32:04

is probably within arms reach

32:06

because I'm pretty much I'm close to

32:08

the edge of the tenant. If I

32:10

would have stuck my left arm as

32:12

far out as I could and maybe

32:15

leaned a little bit I probably could

32:17

have touched it. That's how close it

32:19

sounded like these footsteps

32:21

were. And also directly to

32:23

my left is a window that was

32:26

open. I had a flashlight. I

32:28

had the little headlight, and at

32:30

any moment I could have turned

32:32

the light on to take a look

32:34

out the window and see what it was,

32:36

but I couldn't bring myself to

32:39

do it. I didn't want to see.

32:41

There's the one on the right. I

32:43

don't know if he kicked the fold-up,

32:45

little fold-up chairs that we

32:47

bring, like, little looning chairs.

32:50

I don't know if he kicked it or

32:52

moved it. It was whatever, but the

32:54

chair got moans. Then he goes around.

32:57

to the opposite side of the

32:59

tent. He's still on the right

33:01

side, but he goes to the or

33:03

feet in of the tent where there

33:05

was a dollar store bag that

33:07

we had used to put trash in

33:09

and it was outside the tent.

33:12

Well, he picked it up. You can

33:14

hear it. You know, the whole time

33:16

it's moving. He takes it up

33:18

as like he looks at it and he

33:20

puts it back down. So yeah, at

33:22

this point, we're surrounded there. around

33:24

the tent, like you can just

33:27

hear noises coming from kind of

33:29

everywhere. It's just, it's getting, it's

33:31

getting like, you can feel the moment

33:34

building, like it's getting scary, it's

33:36

getting intense. It kind of just

33:38

like the noise of the smaller

33:41

noises kept happening, and then

33:43

to me, we had a little. chair on

33:45

the by the door of the tent

33:47

and we had a little plastic bag

33:49

with some trash we had in it

33:51

we kind of put it in the

33:53

bag and you know set it down

33:55

next to the door and I heard

33:58

something kind of like the bag moves

34:00

like something kind of like either hit

34:02

it moved it kicked it something it

34:04

wasn't like a big a big move

34:06

but something touched the back definitely touched

34:09

it not long after that well the

34:11

entire time I forgot to tell you um

34:13

we have brought up airhorn with us

34:15

just because just to feel safe if

34:17

something comes around you know blow it

34:19

we we couldn't really have any you

34:22

know guns or anything on us because

34:24

He's a felon and things like that.

34:26

So Erhorn was our best pet. The

34:28

whole time we're laying there, he's telling

34:30

me, he's like, I need to do

34:32

something. I need to do something. And

34:35

I said, no, just just lay down.

34:37

Just don't do anything. Don't move. Don't,

34:39

you know, like I didn't want to

34:41

make it worse. I didn't want, you

34:43

know, them to feel intimidated. I was

34:45

kind of just hoping they would, you know,

34:48

you know, kind of look around and

34:50

then leave. You know, you know, you know, you

34:52

know, like, like, like, like, I remember,

34:54

like I remember at this moment,

34:56

like it was yesterday, then I'm

34:59

staring up straight up. I'm not

35:01

trying to look anywhere, but straight

35:03

up to the sky. And I end

35:05

up, you know, looking to the left

35:08

anyway, and I could see the side

35:10

of tent. And I'm like, man, I

35:12

hope this mother effort don't touch

35:14

the tent. And before I could

35:16

even get that thought out, it touched

35:18

the tent. Like you put his

35:20

finger, like it her, or whatever.

35:22

put his finger in the tent and

35:25

slid it down like about six inches

35:27

and then hurried up and pulled

35:29

his finger back like it like something

35:31

scared him. I hear like the jingle

35:33

of like you know the the two pieces

35:36

of the zipper they have the two little

35:38

parts you hold for the zipper where the

35:40

two meet I heard that kind of like

35:42

make a noise like kind of like

35:44

something touched it and moved it

35:46

or like it clinging together or

35:48

something. And then I think that's when

35:50

Todd couldn't handle it anymore. He thought,

35:52

I guess, that they were coming into

35:54

the tent. He thought, like they were

35:56

trying to get in, just from hearing

35:58

that, I don't know. if they were

36:00

just touching it just to be curious

36:03

or, you know, oh, this makes a

36:05

sound or if they really were, I

36:07

don't think they were going to come

36:09

in, but you never know. So he

36:12

freaked out and he jumped up and

36:14

he blew the airhorn. He tried to

36:16

scream, but he was so like, I

36:18

guess, adrenaline pumping and all, like his

36:21

voice didn't come out as normal. It

36:23

kind of like was cracked and high

36:25

pitched and he couldn't really scream, but

36:28

he yelled, you know, like he blew

36:30

the horn. Uh, twice I think. And

36:32

then he yelled, get the F out

36:34

of here. I felt like I needed

36:37

to do something. And I kept telling,

36:39

carrying that, like, I don't know, I'm

36:41

a convicted felon so I can't have

36:43

a gun. So I had an air

36:46

horn, which is, you know, that I

36:48

bring that anytime I go backpacking, that's

36:50

it. So I'm in bad shape if

36:52

something would go down. I'm already on

36:55

my back. You know what I mean?

36:57

You don't ever want to start a

36:59

fight from on your back, no matter

37:02

what you're fighting against big foot or

37:04

anybody or anything. And it just, I

37:06

kept thinking about that. One of the

37:08

thoughts that crossed my mind multiple times

37:11

was I'm never going to see my

37:13

kids. And after a few times of

37:15

that thought crossed in my mind, I

37:17

was really starting to think like, man,

37:20

I got to figure out a way

37:22

to distract a way to distract these

37:24

things to distract these things. Get them

37:26

to me. That way at least you

37:29

can get home and get to the

37:31

kids. Like I'm starting to self-sacrifice thinking.

37:33

Just so she, you know, so one

37:36

of us can make it home and

37:38

tell this damn story. The way she

37:40

kept talking me out of it, kept

37:42

talking me out of it, kept talking

37:45

me out of the whole 35 minutes.

37:47

Well, the icing on the cake for

37:49

me was whenever one of them either

37:51

accidentally kicked the tent. I don't know

37:54

what happened but I know I heard

37:56

my zipper. Not a zipper like whenever

37:58

it was zipping but... just

38:01

that jingle of a zipper when

38:03

you're grabbing it or trying to

38:05

do something just you know that noise

38:07

and I lost it so I blew

38:09

the airhorn while I as I'm getting out

38:12

the sleeping bag I'm blowing the

38:14

airhorn I'm hollering and I feel

38:16

like I thought I would have been

38:18

hollering the loudest I've ever hollered in

38:20

my life but it was like in

38:22

those dreams to where you try to

38:25

holler nothing comes out like

38:27

that's exactly what happened

38:29

really was screen as long

38:31

as I could and barely anything

38:33

came out. So I hop up and I immediately

38:35

go to the windows with my

38:37

light. I'm looking, expecting

38:39

to see something, you know, maybe

38:42

running away or kind of just

38:44

ducking, you know, I'm expecting

38:46

to see the last little peek of

38:48

something before it gets away. And

38:50

I don't see anything at all. There's

38:53

not much brush there. So I

38:55

don't know where they went. Like I guess

38:57

they just... Uh, drive the tree and

38:59

did that, that thing they do, they

39:01

just stay still and you could walk

39:04

right by him and not even know

39:06

it. But, uh, I really, I don't,

39:08

that's just a guess. I don't know

39:10

what happened, but they were going

39:12

very fast. And in the time it

39:14

took to me to get up off my

39:16

back on my feet, not even all the

39:18

way on my feet. Like once I

39:21

got my feet under me, that was it.

39:23

I was blowing a horn and

39:25

hollering and hollering. Grab the

39:27

light and I'm looking so a

39:29

matter of four seconds From when

39:32

I started to come out of

39:34

my sleeping bag Until I started

39:36

looking with the light matter of

39:38

four or five seconds and I

39:41

didn't see anything We kind of

39:43

like both just jumped up turned on

39:45

our headlamps. We were looking out the windows

39:47

to see if we saw anything, but at

39:49

that time I didn't see anything. I was

39:52

just, I was freaking out. I wanted to

39:54

get into the car. I wanted to get

39:56

out of there. I didn't want to be

39:58

in the area anymore. So we blow

40:01

the airhorn, I don't see anything

40:03

out of the windows, we just

40:05

kind of start grabbing like whatever

40:07

we can, necessities are, you know,

40:09

important stuff, which wasn't much, pretty

40:11

much just a backpack and a

40:13

wallet, I think, and her backpack

40:15

and her wallet. We left everything

40:17

else there, including my phone that

40:19

was on record unknowingly. I get

40:21

in the truck and we take

40:23

off. And he's like, no, we're

40:25

fine. We blew the air horn.

40:27

They're not here. And I'm like,

40:29

but you don't know if they're

40:31

going to come back. You know,

40:33

like, I just, I wanted to

40:35

be away from the place. So

40:37

I'm freaking out. I'm like, can

40:39

we please get in the car?

40:41

We're gathering up a couple of

40:43

things. But right after we had

40:45

heard the owl sounds, he grabbed

40:47

his phone and you started recording.

40:49

Right after the owl sounds in

40:51

the song bird whistle. And it

40:53

was just kind of picking up

40:55

like little, I guess little things

40:57

that were thrown and the things

40:59

that I was hearing it kind

41:01

of picked up. But so as

41:03

we jumped up and gathered all

41:05

of our things, his phone was

41:07

somewhere in the sleeping bag or

41:09

something. He kind of just threw

41:11

it in there, like didn't even

41:13

think about it. We got up,

41:15

we grabbed, you know, our backpack,

41:17

a couple of things and the

41:19

keys and we ran for the

41:21

car. While we're in the car,

41:23

I'm kind of just looking out

41:25

there. It's like a maze to

41:27

get out of there. There's so

41:29

many different turns down this rock

41:31

gravel road. It was so far

41:33

in there. We drove for a

41:35

while to get in there, so

41:37

it took forever to get out.

41:39

By the time we finally got

41:41

out, we found the main road.

41:43

We went to some gas station,

41:45

I think. We kind of sat

41:47

there for a little bit, just

41:49

kind of talking, like, what the

41:51

heck just happened, you know, trying

41:53

to kind of make sense of

41:55

everything of everything. And you can't

41:57

hear our tires and the rocks

41:59

anymore. That's whenever you hear these

42:01

things start doing this noise. what

42:03

it is, but it's just like

42:05

a, it's almost like an ape

42:07

grunt, like a gorilla grunt to

42:09

where they kind of talk with

42:11

that, you know, like with that

42:13

breath, I guess. It kind of

42:15

sounds like that. Sometimes, other times,

42:17

it sounds almost like an alien.

42:19

Like, you know, the people who

42:21

gotta have those voice boxes, man,

42:23

and they gotta talk with that

42:25

kind of sounded like that. What

42:27

got me about it was there

42:29

was definitely... some kind of dialogue

42:31

with this sound. You can tell

42:33

by the way they make in

42:35

the sounds that they communicate with

42:37

whatever the sound was. And yeah,

42:39

so anyway, we want to roll.

42:41

I'll get back to that later,

42:43

but we drive and we get

42:45

to town and we make it

42:47

to a little store and we

42:49

sit there just kind of questioning

42:51

what just happened. You know, we're

42:54

just doing self-checks and... stuff like

42:56

that until daylight and then we

42:58

I think we grabbed a drink

43:00

or maybe a sausage biscuit and

43:02

took off to go back. And

43:04

then once it started getting daylight

43:06

because this was like right before

43:08

daylight we um we hauled out

43:10

of there so I guess about

43:12

30 minutes later it kind of

43:14

was starting to get daylight so

43:16

we decided like okay let's go

43:18

back let's take a look around

43:20

let's get our stuff because we

43:22

still had another destination to get

43:24

to this was just like you

43:26

know the stop before so When

43:28

we went back, everything was bright

43:30

and beautiful. Songbirds, we actually saw

43:32

like three deer not far from

43:34

our campsite. You know, everything was

43:36

thriving in the morning. So we

43:38

pull up and we immediately go

43:40

into the tent. It doesn't look

43:42

like anything's touched. When we left

43:44

the door, we kind of left

43:46

open, but... Everything looked exactly the

43:48

same. Nothing was moved. Nothing was

43:50

like ransacked. Like if it was

43:52

a random animal, I'm assuming they

43:54

would go in there and move

43:56

things around. I mean, I don't

43:58

know. But, um... So we

44:00

went in, he grabbed his phone and

44:02

he's like, it was still recording that

44:05

entire time. So we were kind of

44:07

excited to, you know, listen to that.

44:09

So after he grabbed his phone, we

44:11

kind of looked around and I was

44:14

like, I want to go up to

44:16

the top of the hill, you know,

44:18

kind of where I seen that one,

44:20

kind of looking at us. So I

44:22

go up to what I think is

44:25

the tree. I'm still not a 100%

44:27

sure, but I'm 95% short. That he

44:29

was the tree that he was standing

44:31

behind. looking at it the next day

44:34

from right by it, it was definitely

44:36

seven feet, six, six to seven feet

44:38

minimum is how tall this thing was.

44:40

Now that I'm looking at the tree.

44:43

So I'm just kind of looking around

44:45

on the ground, maybe seeing if I

44:47

could find, you know, friend, or is

44:49

anything. And I kind of glanced down

44:51

towards the tent and then I see

44:54

that the tree that he was using

44:56

as a hide spot, like it has

44:58

a very, very, very unobstructed view. except

45:00

for a few big pine trees here

45:03

and there of the river corridor trail.

45:05

But where the trees positioned, you really

45:07

can't see it from the trail, so

45:09

to say. You can't see that part

45:12

of it anyway, but that part of

45:14

it can see the whole trail. So

45:16

I'm thinking like maybe that's one of

45:18

those little spots that they go to,

45:20

you know, observe or whatever. And we

45:23

moved a little further down the mountain

45:25

and we found a couple of tracks.

45:27

I mean, we found some tracks. I'm

45:29

not sure exactly if it's, you know,

45:32

human or whatever. I mean, I took

45:34

pictures of my foot next to him,

45:36

just to kind of get comparison. And

45:38

like, I took a picture down from

45:41

the campsite from his angle where he

45:43

was up on top the hill, just

45:45

kind of like trying to, I don't

45:47

know, I guess, get the layout. But

45:50

we kind of looked around a little

45:52

bit. You can kind of see like

45:54

a game trail up there, I guess

45:56

where the deer and all made it.

45:58

And then we went back down, we

46:01

packed the tent up, we walked to,

46:03

I think the rocks again. and looked

46:05

around, he found a footprint there too,

46:07

I'm not sure. We took a picture

46:10

of that, I'm not sure if that's,

46:12

you know, I can't be sure what

46:14

it is exactly, but. They, in the

46:16

shape of a foot, pressed into the

46:19

leaves, way bigger than my feet, I

46:21

mean, I only wear a size nine

46:23

and a half, but I could probably

46:25

fit almost two of them, lengthwise, and

46:27

I could probably fit three of them,

46:30

widthwise. I mean, it's not a very

46:32

deep. Print, but you can tell it's

46:34

a print. I took I put my

46:36

shoe next to it and took a

46:39

picture I don't think I sent you

46:41

that picture I'm gonna have to um

46:43

So that's just that was cool. You

46:45

know we found a print so we

46:48

walked down to the river and we

46:50

walking down the river just kind of

46:52

Talking and you know enjoying the scenery

46:54

The substrate on the side or I

46:56

don't know if you can call it

46:59

substrate. It's more like a gravel mineral

47:01

mineral. Like whenever some of it gets

47:03

wet it you know, and you pack

47:05

it down, it gets pretty hard. Like

47:08

if I step on it, you can

47:10

barely see that I even stepped there.

47:12

If I jumped on it, it didn't

47:14

do much better at all. Like you

47:17

still barely see that I passed right

47:19

there, but a little bit over to

47:21

the left from where this was where

47:23

I was looking and making stuff, making

47:25

prints with my shoe. There's a print

47:28

or two, I think it was two,

47:30

not a very... Big one lengthwise, but

47:32

it was probably about maybe 10 inches

47:34

and about four inches across and it

47:37

was about two inches down into this

47:39

Whatever this rock or so whatever it

47:41

was so whatever it was so whatever

47:43

made these prints was heavy When I

47:46

first saw them I was like I

47:48

was just somebody that came swimming with

47:50

a bit, you know, they didn't have

47:52

any swim shoes or whatever. They just

47:55

walk in barefoot and now it's like

47:57

it isn't the way that a human

47:59

can Way that much especially with a

48:01

foot that small we we will We

48:03

walked probably another mile down the river

48:06

and then we hiked back to the

48:08

truck, packed up, packed up camp, and

48:10

we had the broken bull. And that

48:12

is whenever we started listening to the

48:15

tape. We looked around a little bit

48:17

and then we kind of left and

48:19

we went on our way and then

48:21

on the way to our other destination

48:24

is when we decided to listen to

48:26

the recording and we kind of like

48:28

freaked out a minute and had to

48:30

pull over and just kind of, you

48:32

know, listen. to everything that happened and

48:35

we kind of just discussed it and

48:37

the entire weekend in Oklahoma I was

48:39

scared I was on edge I didn't

48:41

want to even look at the woods

48:44

I was very jumpy for a while

48:46

after that I just I don't know

48:48

I was I was trying to figure

48:50

out what just happened you know like

48:53

it felt like it almost felt like

48:55

it didn't just happen like did that

48:57

really just happened and I'm like Like

48:59

we're talking about it, I'm like, we

49:01

both experienced the same thing, like something

49:04

definitely did happen, but it just felt

49:06

so odd and so, I don't know,

49:08

like, like it wasn't real because I've,

49:10

like I said, I've heard and watched

49:13

so many podcasts and all that, and

49:15

this was my first experience and it's

49:17

like, it made me, I mean, now

49:19

I know for sure they're real, you

49:22

know, like I always kind of figured,

49:24

but now it's like, they're definitely there.

49:26

it kind of made me interested to

49:28

go back but I've never made it

49:30

back because I'm just I'm scared you

49:33

know like I'm curious but I'm not

49:35

that curious. So you guys actually get

49:37

back to camp and you realize oh

49:39

my phone is here and you know

49:42

it's been recording this whole time and

49:44

I'll play about the first three minutes

49:46

of you guys get leaving the area

49:48

and then I'll play what happens next.

50:08

What's getting

50:12

the car?

50:15

Can we

50:19

please get

50:23

in the

50:27

car? Can

50:31

we need

50:34

to go?

50:37

What's that? I

50:39

just, I just

50:42

want to go.

50:44

I'm sorry, please,

50:47

let me leave.

50:49

Please, please. They're

50:51

in the car.

50:54

No, you good.

50:56

They're fucking going.

50:59

No, no, no, no, no.

51:01

I want to go in

51:04

the car. Oh, God.

51:06

You don't need a

51:08

shirt on, let's just get

51:10

in the car. You don't

51:13

know, no, no, no. Wait,

51:15

Jerry. Okay, I just need

51:17

a little here. I can't

51:20

breathe. Please. Oh, God. Holy.

51:22

You don't need a shirt

51:24

on, let's just get in

51:27

the car. Bro, you all

51:29

right now? You don't know

51:31

that. Believe me, you good.

51:33

Wait for me. They

51:41

would have got us,

51:43

but for one. I

51:45

don't want to talk

51:47

about it, please. I'm

51:49

sorry that we're here.

51:51

I don't want to

51:53

talk about it, please.

51:55

I'm sorry that we're

51:57

here. No.

52:29

The

52:31

bottom

52:36

is

52:39

not

52:42

the

52:45

bottom.

53:27

So you guys are obviously scared and

53:29

who could blame you? What happens

53:31

next? And I don't know how

53:33

well this will translate over a

53:35

podcast. I'll include a link if you

53:37

want to listen to the full, I

53:39

think it's like two and a half

53:41

hours or three hours after this, but almost

53:44

when you don't amplify it, you

53:46

can almost hear it better. Because

53:48

when you amplify sound, it kind

53:50

of pulls everything up. But on the

53:53

spectrograph you can tell there's

53:55

two somethings walking around this

53:57

camp and you can also tell

53:59

there's two something's talking, it's

54:01

right above a whisper and it's

54:04

really hard to hear, but I'll

54:06

play about two minutes of it,

54:08

but you hear these things talking

54:10

or something talking. And

56:49

I don't know if the you

56:51

know the audience could really hear

56:53

that but you when I very

56:55

first started I thought oh these

56:57

are hogs The more you listen

56:59

to it though the more They're

57:01

not hogs and it sounds almost

57:03

more like a gorilla or something

57:05

But you can hear them talking

57:07

again. It's just above a whisper

57:09

and there's a lot of clicks

57:11

in there But again if you

57:14

go listen to the whole thing

57:16

And I'll include a link if

57:18

it's cool with you Todd When

57:20

you hear it and you just

57:22

crank it up with your headphones

57:24

without me amplifying it You can

57:26

definitely hear it better The whole

57:28

two hour and 45 minute experience

57:30

is all on YouTube under cost

57:32

of type sounds And I'll definitely

57:34

include a link underneath this episode

57:36

It's around the 30 35 minute

57:38

mark is when they're leaving camp

57:40

Do you think that there was

57:43

more than two? Yes about the

57:45

three minute and thirty second mark

57:47

is the first whistle and then

57:49

you know it just kind of

57:51

continues after that but it's like

57:53

a really loud really loud whistle

57:55

really loud in the long whistle

57:57

and then it just stops. And

58:00

then, you know, let's see, the first

58:02

one was at three minutes and

58:04

30 seconds, the second one was

58:06

at four minutes and 12 seconds.

58:09

So, you know, every couple of

58:11

minutes it was happening at first, but

58:13

then it kind of slowed down,

58:15

but it happened throughout the whole

58:17

time we were there. There was something

58:20

on the other side, the river, because

58:22

that's where it sounded like it

58:24

was coming from, the whistle. There's

58:27

like a, almost a 45 degree turn

58:29

right there. in the river, so where

58:31

it would have been is like a

58:33

point that would stick out.

58:35

And it's elevated, probably

58:38

like a 20, 35-foot bluff. So

58:40

I'm thinking it was right

58:42

up in there somewhere watching

58:44

this whole thing play out and you

58:46

know, watching always, whatever you

58:49

call them, brother's phone. When

58:51

you guys very first saw the eye

58:53

glow, first it was one eye, then

58:56

you guys saw two eyes. Was it eye

58:58

shine or was it eye glow? It

59:00

wasn't like an eye shine though, it

59:02

was more just like a glow. And then,

59:04

I don't, it kind of sounds

59:07

weird, but if you would move the

59:09

headlamp off of the eye or whatever

59:11

the light was, it would kind of

59:13

glow for a little bit after and

59:15

then kind of, you know, fade out.

59:17

So it wasn't like an eye shine,

59:20

it was like a glow, like it's

59:22

really hard to explain. It was white,

59:24

it was bright white, it wasn't like...

59:26

off-white it wasn't yellow I've heard people

59:29

see red you know all these colors

59:31

it was just white and I

59:33

seriously I thought it was an orb

59:35

until we saw the one up on

59:38

the hill and it had two right

59:40

next to each other and oh I'm

59:42

not kind of set kind of wide

59:45

apart not right next each other but

59:47

when it blinked they both blinked at

59:49

the same like I could tell it

59:51

was eyes you know yes it was

59:53

reflective it didn't just glow on its

59:56

own but I Now if you're looking at

59:58

it and you turn you light away from

1:00:00

it, it seems like that illumination

1:00:02

lasted for another second or two

1:00:04

and then it just kind of

1:00:07

went away. That's the first time

1:00:09

I've ever seen anything like that.

1:00:11

Let me ask you, I mean,

1:00:13

when you see these two things

1:00:16

watching you and you guys figure

1:00:18

out their eyes, and they appear

1:00:20

to be standing relatively high up,

1:00:22

why not leave at that point?

1:00:24

Why stay? Well, the first one

1:00:27

we saw, since it was only

1:00:29

one, I was trying to explain

1:00:31

it away. I'm like, maybe that

1:00:33

was a firefly, which fireflies are

1:00:36

definitely not as big as that

1:00:38

was, and fireflies are more like

1:00:40

yellowish, greenish looking, then this was

1:00:42

white. But I'm just, I guess,

1:00:45

trying to not freak myself out,

1:00:47

I just, I don't know. But

1:00:49

at that point, I wasn't sure

1:00:51

exactly what it was. I wasn't

1:00:53

thinking Bigfoot. I was thinking, oh,

1:00:56

there's an animal over there. I

1:00:58

mean, I don't know, it's dark.

1:01:00

It's dark. But I didn't think

1:01:02

to leave because at that point

1:01:05

I wasn't freaked out. I wasn't

1:01:07

Honestly, I wasn't freaked out at

1:01:09

any of it until I heard

1:01:11

the vocal the owl that turned

1:01:14

into chatter and Speaking of the

1:01:16

owl sounds it wasn't exactly like

1:01:18

an owl It was but it

1:01:20

didn't have like that trail that

1:01:22

owls have you know like it

1:01:25

was more flat and it did

1:01:27

sound like an owl, but it

1:01:29

just didn't have that that trail

1:01:31

that they have you know To

1:01:34

be honest, dude, I never felt

1:01:36

threatened. I've asked myself that lots

1:01:38

of times. I never really felt

1:01:40

threatened and the only other thing

1:01:43

I have is that I guess

1:01:45

I didn't really believe it was

1:01:47

happening in the moment until they

1:01:49

started coming in the camp. And

1:01:51

then, yeah, that's when I realized

1:01:54

I should have left a long

1:01:56

time. At the very beginning of

1:01:58

that recording it almost sounds like

1:02:00

something hit to try. Take a

1:02:03

listen. Here I'll play it. Actually

1:02:05

give me one second. Hey back

1:02:07

it up right there. Is that

1:02:09

right whenever we were taken off?

1:02:12

It's right before you got you

1:02:14

come out of the tent. Take

1:02:16

a listen. Oh man. What is

1:02:18

that? It's insane man, because I

1:02:20

heard it just now when you

1:02:23

played it, but I've never heard

1:02:25

it before. And like I've still

1:02:27

never listened to the whole recording.

1:02:29

It's just so long and I

1:02:32

get kind of stuck in the,

1:02:34

you know, I kind of sess

1:02:36

over these one little pieces for

1:02:38

a while and I move on

1:02:41

and you get stuck on another

1:02:43

piece that I hear for a

1:02:45

while and try to analyze that.

1:02:47

It's just a lot of crazy

1:02:49

stuff, man. You know, there's so

1:02:52

much going on in the recording

1:02:54

that you sent me. I still

1:02:56

haven't had a chance to really

1:02:58

sit down and go through all

1:03:01

of it, but you know those

1:03:03

voices are creepy. And again, I'll

1:03:05

include a link and if you

1:03:07

plug your headphones in and crank

1:03:10

it way up after Todd and

1:03:12

Kerry leave, you can definitely hear

1:03:14

voices talking and kind of walking

1:03:16

around. Sounds like they're touching stuff

1:03:18

or moving stuff in your camp.

1:03:21

It's fascinating, man. Scary night, for

1:03:23

sure. I ask everyone on the

1:03:25

show, what do you think Sasquatch

1:03:27

is? What's your take? I think

1:03:30

they're flesh and blood. I don't

1:03:32

think they're in a dimensional. I

1:03:34

don't think they're spiritual, all that

1:03:36

thing, all that stuff. I think

1:03:39

they're here. And I mean, I

1:03:41

don't know. I know they were

1:03:43

communicating because I mean, I heard

1:03:45

that. I don't know. It's a

1:03:47

controversial topic. the government does have

1:03:50

them and that they know what

1:03:52

they are and you know I

1:03:54

think they're they're real they're here

1:03:56

and I think it's known and

1:03:59

it's just it's a scary topic

1:04:01

for people? At first I was

1:04:03

all for flesh and blood.

1:04:05

100% flesh and blood,

1:04:07

some kind of undiscovered,

1:04:10

hybrid, human ape, whatever.

1:04:12

But after those nights

1:04:14

and really getting into

1:04:16

the subject, I don't know. I

1:04:18

won't answer that. That's the

1:04:21

answer I have is I don't

1:04:23

know. Yeah, well, you know, I

1:04:25

don't knows or that's an okay

1:04:27

answer to. You know, scary night.

1:04:29

that you and Kerry had and

1:04:31

you know I really appreciate you

1:04:34

guys coming on and sharing what

1:04:36

happened to you and sharing the

1:04:38
