Michael Damian Thomas is a magazine editor and advocate. Currently, he is co-publisher and co-editor-in-chief of Uncanny Magazine, which he founded in 2014 with his wife Lynne M. Thomas. He co-hosts the "Uncanny Magazine" podcast.Previously, Thomas was managing editor at Apex Magazine and an associate editor at Mad Norwegian Press.Thomas has co-edited three short story collections, including "Flying Higher: An Anthology of Superhero Poetry," which was published in 2013, "Glitter & Mayhem," also published in 2013, "Queers Dig Time Lords: A Celebration of Doctor Who by the LGBTQ Fans Who Love It," which was published in 2014, and "The Best of Uncanny," which was published in 2019.Thomas also advocates for disabled children in Illinois.
