A great time! Jordan and David find a way to make the topic interesting for both new and long time manga fans. They've got a good chemistry that makes you keep listening. You won't feel lost if you're new to the topic and you won't feel bored if you're well versed. Recommended!

Shonen Flop is an incredibly creative idea for a show, but the best part is it's accessibility for both the passionate for manga and anime and casual listeners simply looking for a good podcast to have on. David and Jordan definitely do their homework and share a passion for shonen however, they remain casual enough by avoiding self-serious gatekeeping and too much criticism. They seem to be having a genuinely great time. Give them a listen and subscribe now!

A great new show looking at manga that I never would have heard of. I really like how they're actually taking a real look at each series and not just dumping crap on something that didn't catch on.

David and Jordan really go in-depth on these short series. Really dig how candid and funny they are, and they’ve got some great guest appearances. Started listening on their First Thoughts and then the full episode of “Phantom Seer”. It’s easy to see why they’ve grown the following they have in just a year! Floppers for life!

These guys are fun and have great energy. They dive into anime, manga, and games so we can get the skinny before committing to it ourselves. Selfless warriors! I’ve been watching anime since I was a teenager, definitely will keep listening to their show!

I've only listened to a few episodes but I really like these guys. They bring up Manga that I literally would never have heard about prior to them bringing them up. Their opinions on why these Manga get cancelled are also interesting to hear. Definitely give them a listen, I'm now following on Spotify :)

This is a unique subject for a podcast. I am always happy to learn about obscure manga that I would otherwise have not heard of. Not everything can become an anime and it's fun to hear the reasons why certain manga never made the jump.

I enjoy being able to find so much manga info in one place. Now I don't have to search it out! Great pod!

Shonen flop does. a very good job at there podcast they explain a lot of good then about dragonball z an how amazing the show is an how about them characters. Also the talk about other shows like no other could do they are like the future of talking about these shows. I recommend you all to check them out!

This was terrific. The hosts do great reviewing a flopped series by balancing they’re view on why it failed with the positive things the manga had going for it. Really well done. These guys are great fun and have a blast talking about an art form they love. You should check them out by listening, rating and subscribing.

If you love deep dive stuff, these guys are great! I am also co-host of the podcast Leveling Up with Benjamin Banks and I’m blown away by their ability to get information on these particular mangas that aren’t in global rotation. Kudos!

Listened to Chibi Episode 22.5, great and funny banter between the 2 hosts. I agreed, the premise for the Double Arts manga sounded interesting with the epidemic spin but the execution did seems pretty off. Informative review of the story and I look forward to future manga reviews!

Informative and fun podcast. I'm not a huge anime connoisseur but I consider myself a student (my son is teaching me) but this show is eye opening and enjoyable

As a lover of all things animated, I always wondered what happened to the ideas that got off the ground but did get a push. Well David and Jordan take you through the steps that went right and what went waaaaay wrong! Great podcast with knowledgeable hosts that truly love what their talking about!

I love this show. They have made it their schtick to review the schlock. And even though they are reviewing ostensibly failed manga series, they still are able to head into them with and open mind and frequently find some redeeming qualities. The hosts are great and approach their topics with just the right balance of thoughtfulness and levity. This is a must listen if you are a manga fan. You might just find some diamonds in the rough.
