Welcome to Subconscious Mind mastery
0:04
Thomas Miller Miller, concluding 2024. And
0:06
I have some and I
0:09
have some end
0:11
of the year reflections and lessons a
0:13
we turn a calendar page here
0:15
in real those of you who might of you
0:17
who might be listening down the
0:19
road, just going to go through some
0:21
very practical applications, especially when
0:23
it's been a little tough
0:25
lately, because that's kind of
0:27
the basis of what I'm
0:30
working with. with. 2024 was a
0:32
but I have some I have some
0:34
good and good good reflections and good
0:36
directions ahead based on all of
0:38
this. you you current current with
0:40
the podcast and you've been listening
0:42
to some of the past
0:45
episodes through this year, you will
0:47
pretty much know the story,
0:49
but everything began in January in
0:51
the plans to make an unexpected
0:53
move, and that I covered
0:56
in episode 375. A unique unique
0:58
situation that certainly added something
1:00
to the manifesting list over the
1:02
years the I reflected back. back,
1:04
a car, getting rid of an
1:07
RV, an RV, getting another RV, a RV theme
1:09
there, finding the right finding the right
1:11
apartment RV, the RV a now
1:13
So free house. telling you just
1:15
telling you all that to
1:17
say things things are possible when
1:19
you follow this journey. But
1:21
boy, this year did not
1:23
end up as expected. So
1:25
here was this this I
1:28
noted something here here, an unexpected
1:30
move. Things did not end
1:32
up as expected this year.
1:34
Episode this year. Episode 375, few
1:36
back, the unexpected transition
1:38
that began in January
1:40
of 2024. January of and then
1:42
And then episode 376, the next one. one,
1:45
covers an unexpected
1:47
family situation. situation. and And
1:49
then 394 kind of brings
1:51
it of brings
1:53
it forward to
1:55
an unexpected medical
1:57
condition. So I
1:59
moved out here
2:01
to take care
2:03
of a dear
2:05
friend, the lady
2:07
who owned the home.
2:09
where I lived in Aspen for
2:12
almost three years when I was
2:14
there 2015-16-17 into 18, well in
2:16
the end of 2024 here as
2:18
outlined in episode 394 she had
2:20
a significant life-threatening medical setback. So
2:22
it has been a year of
2:24
unexpected. The year began in North
2:26
Carolina. It's ending in California. and
2:28
of course in between that was
2:30
an unexpected hurricane in North Carolina
2:32
that very much affected the area
2:34
where I was still is affecting
2:36
so many in such a tragic
2:38
situation. So as I was writing
2:40
that unexpected list I thought well
2:42
you better look at where Uranus
2:44
is in your chart where the
2:46
year began and where it's ending
2:48
because Uranus in astrology is the
2:50
planet of surprises and sure enough.
2:52
The year began with Uranus in
2:54
an exact square aspect, which if
2:56
you don't follow astrology is a
2:58
tense aspect or a challenging aspect.
3:00
Uranus in the sky right now
3:02
is in a square, a challenging
3:04
situation with my own Uranus when
3:06
I was born. So all of
3:08
these sudden surprises shouldn't be a
3:11
surprise under that kind of astrology.
3:13
And to be honest with you,
3:15
I just wasn't thinking about it
3:17
whole through this year until I
3:19
just looked at it. Because, why?
3:21
Because I've been busy focusing on
3:23
all this other stuff. And then
3:25
as I look ahead, there are
3:27
some other challenging aspects from two
3:29
other big boys, Mars and Pluto,
3:31
in the chart. So the fun
3:33
and games are not over yet.
3:35
But I'm thinking maybe if I
3:37
expect challenges in 2025, maybe it
3:39
will turn out differently because I
3:41
didn't expect them last year and
3:43
wow got sidewacked. But I'd like
3:45
to just reflect on, and I
3:47
think I've got five or six
3:49
or seven things here that I'd
3:51
like to go through of things
3:53
that happened and lessons learned from
3:55
this year. And the first one
3:57
is just what we were talking
3:59
about. about thank I
4:01
thought. that I had that I had
4:03
worked these new ways of
4:06
living and new ways of being
4:08
that are encompassed in almost
4:10
400 episodes this this podcast. that I've that
4:12
I've worked that into my life. You're
4:14
you're new and you're just dropping into
4:16
this podcast, it is kind of an
4:18
audio blog journal, if you will, of
4:21
development from from
4:23
way of life of life a new way
4:25
of living. of living driven by by
4:27
and realizing the subconscious mind
4:30
mind still everything that we
4:32
do. that we do. the the operating
4:34
system, if you will. So
4:36
the first thing I thought of
4:38
was first thing literally of God that
4:41
I developed the tools that
4:43
I have over these past the
4:45
or so years to learn how
4:47
to develop this. 15 or so it
4:49
made it easy? how to develop
4:51
this. Has it tough. No.
4:53
This Have I had my moments? I had
4:55
my moments? Yeah. do I wish
4:57
I could unwind and a a magic wand
4:59
over it? Well, yeah, if you listen
5:01
to the one about the family, you would
5:04
say, yeah, you you would say, yeah, I would
5:06
say this, I that if I acted that if
5:08
I acted appeared as, oh, it's no big
5:10
deal, you just blow through you just kind
5:12
of thing. it, that I would not
5:14
trust me, for sure. me I would
5:16
run. run, because it does
5:18
hurt, life does hurt, and
5:20
we know that. reality. reality. It's
5:23
the tools that we develop
5:25
through these processes that give us
5:27
the quiver full of techniques
5:29
that we can use. use as we we
5:31
create the new reality. a lot
5:33
of a lot of people
5:35
will wallow in their
5:37
challenges. sympathy to do it for sympathy, or
5:39
to get attention, they or simply because they
5:42
don't have the tools to get out.
5:44
a There's a great little verse tucked
5:46
away in a a tiny book toward the
5:48
end of the Old Testament in the
5:50
Bible that says, for the lack of
5:52
knowledge, lack of my people perish. perish. lot
5:54
of people today today search for the answers.
5:56
They want to be handed answers. They
5:58
They don't go digging. They don't acquire the
6:01
knowledge and thus they perish. So another
6:03
lesson is not to wallow. However, we
6:05
have to heal and that's the authentic
6:07
part of what I've tried to do
6:10
this year is to heal. I had
6:12
to be quieter this year, fewer podcasts
6:14
because I had to grieve. Also my
6:16
focus was distracted this year. Lots of
6:19
changes, lots of adjustments. So those of
6:21
you who have gone through relocations or
6:23
relocations of your situation, maybe a partner
6:25
has left, you feel like you've lost
6:27
some of your grounding, which we're going
6:30
to talk about in a minute. It's
6:32
always good to check on where you
6:34
are. Healthy grieving or wallowing for attention
6:36
and sympathy, because we have to pick
6:39
up and move on. And that leads
6:41
to another lesson, like picking up and
6:43
moving on. Since this podcast started, you
6:45
guys have followed me like a ping
6:47
pong ball around different places. I think
6:50
it went Dallas, Colorado, Dallas, Florida, North
6:52
Carolina, North Carolina, California. That's a lot.
6:54
But when my kids were in high
6:56
school, junior high, and then in high
6:59
school, my goal was when they were
7:01
independent that I wanted to travel. So
7:03
this is something I created and I
7:05
own it. I wanted to see different
7:08
parts of the country. I wanted to
7:10
experience different cultures, different states in the
7:12
United States, for those of you listening
7:14
outside. One state can be different from
7:16
another. I guess those of you in
7:19
Europe, it would be like living in
7:21
Denmark, for example, and then living in
7:23
Germany. They're different. I'll tell you, California
7:25
and North Carolina are different. They are.
7:28
but for an adventurer that's part of
7:30
the challenge isn't it to experience these
7:32
different things but i have learned one
7:34
thing from all of that and that
7:36
is that there is a grounding and
7:39
there can be a lack of grounding
7:41
in places there was a uh... sermon
7:43
actually it would turned into a book
7:45
and now it's I think you can
7:48
download, called Acres of Diamonds. It's a
7:50
great story. Short, but I highly recommend
7:52
you read it because we all tend
7:54
to at times think that there's something
7:57
better over there. And Acres of Diamonds
7:59
teaches us that often it can be
8:01
right under our feet, literally. So if
8:03
you are blessed to have a place
8:05
where you have support, you love where
8:08
you are, you have family, friends, or
8:10
whatever there is for grounding around you.
8:12
If things generally work for you there,
8:14
then I would say be careful about
8:17
getting itchy to leave that grounding. The
8:19
energy that you are leaving may or
8:21
may not be matched in the new
8:23
location. And in fact, I would say
8:25
from my experience, chances are it won't
8:28
be. Energy shifts pretty dramatically. Over that
8:30
list that I mentioned, this is just
8:32
purely my own personal experience. Dallas was
8:34
good for business. challenging for relationships and
8:37
it was close to my Pluto line
8:39
so all of the transformation that's mentioned
8:41
in this podcast and that's really still
8:43
the theme of my life is transformation
8:46
happened in Dallas Aspen by far the
8:48
most fun I've ever had in a
8:50
short period of time but how it
8:52
concluded was now it's your time to
8:54
go back and get busy and put
8:57
this out and that's when everything that
8:59
I've been doing really took off after
9:01
leaving there and going back to Dallas.
9:03
Florida? Boy, that turned out interesting. The
9:06
day I arrived was the day that
9:08
I was setting up my audio booth
9:10
and I lost control of the wall
9:12
that has the heavy solid core door
9:14
and it went into the walls of
9:17
a very vergoin landlord who was downstairs
9:19
literally dusting the top of the blades
9:21
of the ceiling fan with a dry
9:23
paint brush. He was dusting the ceiling
9:26
fans and I was crashing through his
9:28
wall upstairs. to show you the kind
9:30
of guy he was he ran up
9:32
the stairs when he heard the crash
9:35
and his question was,
9:37
are you you okay? And
9:39
And that meant a
9:41
lot. lot. When the
9:43
cover, the concrete cover
9:46
of the septic tank,
9:48
cracked I I walked
9:50
over it, as
9:52
I had for eight
9:55
months, and fell
9:57
in, said, he said,
9:59
tear up the lease.
10:01
I know you're
10:03
not happy here. And
10:06
then I had
10:08
the wonderful opportunity of
10:10
living basically on
10:12
both sides of the
10:15
of the in North
10:17
Carolina, and that was
10:19
a blast. a I
10:21
got to experience
10:24
the the Linville the the
10:26
rock and all in there,
10:28
and and whatnot, and then I
10:30
I got to experience Western Carolina
10:32
where, course, which of has been
10:34
devastated by by Hurricane Helene, and I and
10:37
I love both of them. then has
10:39
has been its own opportunity for
10:41
growth and challenge. I've had to
10:43
make adjustments out here. here. And that's
10:45
kind of the next point point, because
10:47
we go through these changes and
10:49
life situations adjust and we have to
10:52
adjust with them. them, what you
10:54
what you focus on through it. the
10:57
experiences that you will you will
10:59
have a year and a half, year and
11:01
a half, the years down the
11:03
road and beyond. So be
11:06
careful, and I've had to catch
11:08
myself here with this this because I
11:10
promise you the contrast between
11:12
the fertile tree-lined of North Carolina
11:14
and the hot, rocky, dry, desolate
11:16
of of Southern California is as
11:18
stark as day and night.
11:21
But I had to realize this
11:23
as its own unique experience
11:25
and start creating what I was to
11:27
do here I made some adjustments.
11:30
Basically, midsummer, it took me about three
11:32
months just to get over the
11:34
shock of what had happened. what had
11:36
happened. That's episode 376. but i started in the
11:38
summer to make the adjustments and
11:40
started to get things back going.
11:42
things back you know, this is another
11:44
point when you get knocked back.
11:46
get knocked might be a little harder
11:48
to believe in the new the new because
11:50
you can get focused on the current
11:52
reality. on the current If I had i
11:54
had on the the that I was
11:56
feeling, was feeling the what the heck
11:58
have I done done feeling then I would
12:00
be creating that for myself six
12:03
months, 12 months, 18 months, etc.
12:05
down the line. So often in
12:07
these kinds of situations, the worst
12:09
lens to look through is the
12:11
current lens around us. Look to
12:13
the future. Astrology is a great
12:15
picture of this because as we
12:17
watch planets move around on the
12:19
chart, there are fast movers and
12:21
slow movers. The fast movers come
12:23
in, they do their thing, and
12:25
then they kind of move on.
12:27
And that's a lot of what
12:29
life is like in situations like
12:31
this. Things come up, they happen,
12:33
and then it moves on, and
12:35
we move on. One of the
12:37
blessings of astrologies, it shows us
12:39
cycles. And just think of that,
12:41
this is a cycle of life,
12:43
and it's going to pass. And
12:45
you know, there's an upside to
12:47
all of this, too, obviously, because
12:49
those who don't take risks are
12:51
not going to get beaten up.
12:53
There's a great line, a great
12:55
quote says, if you don't go
12:57
out on the branch, you'll never
12:59
get the best fruit. I know
13:01
that I have a risk profile
13:03
built into my chart. To take
13:05
a risk like I did is
13:07
really nothing to me. It's kind
13:09
of the wiring diagram. So in
13:11
that sense, you have to figure
13:13
out your own path, obviously, but
13:15
don't let fear keep you from
13:17
stretching into something that you'd love
13:19
to try. If you feel overly
13:21
secure and overly safe where you
13:23
are, that can often sometimes. be
13:25
keeping you from something that might
13:27
be even better. So we all
13:29
have to find what's right for
13:31
us at any given moment. And
13:33
the way to do that is
13:35
not to ask our friends and
13:37
not to go seek some other
13:39
thing. Intuition. The answers are inside
13:41
of you and we have a
13:43
lot of episodes here on the
13:45
topic of intuition. And I'm going
13:47
to be doing more in 2025
13:49
because I think that is the
13:51
absolute key. When I stood on
13:53
the patio of this house that
13:55
I'm in now in Southern California
13:57
in January, I asked very quickly
13:59
and I had to say we
14:01
are about to make a significant
14:03
decision here. I need to know
14:05
and I need to know now
14:07
and I need it to be
14:09
accurate and I did my little
14:11
muscle testing and intuitive process and
14:13
three times it said yes do
14:15
the deal this came from inside
14:18
this was not knee jerk it
14:20
was in that moment but that's
14:22
the way I've come to live
14:24
that I know that I can
14:26
rely on a quick answer so
14:28
I know this is the path
14:30
and the plan that I was
14:32
to be on and back to
14:34
episode three seventy six I tried
14:36
four times to intervene in that
14:38
so that we could clear the
14:40
air around the issues that were
14:42
at hand there and four times
14:44
was prevented. I also know that
14:46
these timelines of energy and consciousness
14:48
are separating and sometimes we have
14:50
to purge and prune stuff that
14:52
needs to be purged. I hope
14:54
all of that comes back around
14:56
if it's supposed to and I'm
14:58
holding for that. I mean I'm
15:00
holding for the love and the
15:02
forgiveness that hopefully could show up.
15:04
But I'm also content if the
15:06
timelines separate and that's what it's
15:08
supposed to be as well Because
15:10
there are two different energies at
15:12
play in that whole situation and
15:14
many of you have family situations
15:16
with Separating energies as well My
15:18
thoughts and prayers are with you
15:20
during these times because it is
15:22
things are changing and here's another
15:24
point when things look their darkest.
15:26
They're often at the turning point.
15:28
So don't give up there is
15:30
a master plan There is a
15:32
testing. We're going through it all.
15:34
We're being cleansed. We're being prepared.
15:36
What if there was the space
15:38
of non-attachment to that which did
15:40
not serve that would hold you
15:42
back? So some things have to
15:44
fall away. I think in some
15:46
regards we can't even imagine what's
15:48
in front of us as we
15:50
turn this new year over and
15:52
enter 2025. I think the opportunity
15:54
for true spiritual leaders is going
15:56
to be enormous going forward. So
15:58
going into that, do you want
16:00
to be light and nimble or
16:02
chained and bound? We have to
16:04
trust that there is a process
16:06
and a knowledge that knows more
16:08
than we do that is helping
16:10
us, truly helping us, even by
16:12
removing some things that don't serve
16:14
us. And maybe, final point, you're
16:16
someone who has not gone through
16:18
a setback like this. In some
16:20
time, maybe in quite a while.
16:22
Also, don't analyze that either. It
16:24
would be great to make yourself
16:26
available to those who are going
16:28
through it, either energetically through prayer
16:31
and emotional support. There might be
16:33
opportunities for financial support. I've had
16:35
one of those happen in my
16:37
life, and it is the greatest
16:39
blessing I could ever imagine to
16:41
give this dear friend of my
16:43
families a little bit of support
16:45
that they need financially. It's just
16:47
the ultimate blessing. So if your
16:49
life right now is more in
16:51
the clear, hold the space for
16:53
those out there, some you may
16:55
know, some you may not, who
16:57
are going through the challenges. Use
16:59
the blessing of your current grounded
17:01
clarity to help others who are
17:03
in the shifting positions. And if
17:05
you know somebody going through some
17:07
tough stuff, you have their email
17:09
or their text number, send them
17:11
a message every now and then.
17:13
Hey, I'm thinking of you. I
17:15
love you. Chin up. Chin up.
17:17
And then those ultimately vulnerable words,
17:19
anything I can do to help
17:21
you, question mark. There's a story
17:23
in the Bible, came very alive
17:25
for me as I was going
17:27
through all of this with my
17:29
family. In fact, it was one
17:31
of the ones that I looked
17:33
up around this whole concept of
17:35
salvation or inheriting eternal life as
17:37
stated in the New Testament. Somebody,
17:39
it's in Luke chapter 10 if
17:41
you'd like to look it up.
17:43
Somebody came to Jesus and said,
17:45
how can I inherit eternal life?
17:47
Jesus said, well, when you look
17:49
in the book, what do you
17:51
see? The guy said, love the
17:53
Lord your God with all your
17:55
heart, with all your soul, with
17:57
all your strength, and with all
17:59
your mind, and love your neighbor.
18:01
as yourself. That's a pretty good
18:03
interpretation of what I see in
18:05
the Bible as quote unquote salvation.
18:07
Have a God connection. Pierre Tilhart
18:09
de Chardine, we are not human
18:11
beings having a spiritual experience. We
18:13
are spiritual beings having a human
18:15
experience and we tone out the
18:17
spiritual being part. So the first
18:19
part of salvation is have a
18:21
connection with God. Very simple. That's
18:23
what Jesus said. Good answer. But
18:25
then the guy comes back with
18:27
the hook question. And he says,
18:29
but then, who is my neighbor?
18:31
Like, where is this boundary line
18:33
of helping? Jesus said a man
18:35
was going down to Jerusalem from
18:37
Jericho and he was attacked by
18:39
robbers. They beat him up, left
18:41
him in the ditch for dead.
18:44
A priest was going down the
18:46
road, he saw the man, and
18:48
he walked on the other side
18:50
of the road, so he wouldn't
18:52
be bothered by this poor victim
18:54
of this crime. Another... leader, the
18:56
priest, the religious people, the folks
18:58
that carry their spirituality on their
19:00
sleeve, if you will. He snubbed
19:02
his nose and walked away on
19:04
the other side of the road
19:06
as well. So the spiritual people
19:08
wouldn't be bothered by this person
19:10
who had a need. Then it
19:12
says a Samaritan came by and
19:14
saw him and took pity on
19:16
him. Now, to give you the
19:18
context, let me just put it
19:20
this way in modern terms. Let's
19:22
say that the guy in the
19:24
ditch was wearing a magga red
19:26
t-shirt. It said that he voted
19:28
for Donald Trump, and the person
19:30
who came by was wearing a
19:32
Harris, Kamla Harris t-shirt, and was
19:34
a Democrat. That's the difference between
19:36
the person who was lying in
19:38
the road and this Samaritan. genetically
19:40
they were basically half cousins culturally
19:42
they absolutely hated each other so
19:44
this Samaritan this Democratic Harris supporter
19:46
picked the man up out of
19:48
the ditch bandaged his wounds I
19:50
guess he was carrying a first
19:52
aid kit put the man on
19:54
his own donkey paid
19:56
the said, Please take
19:58
care of him
20:00
I'm going on
20:02
a trip and
20:04
when I I return,
20:06
I'll come back and check check, anything I
20:08
owe you, I'll pay it I owe you, I'll pay So
20:10
then. So Jesus of these which of passed by
20:12
do you think was a neighbor to
20:15
the man who had fell to the
20:17
hands of the robbers? hands The man said,
20:19
The man the one who had mercy
20:21
on him. mercy on said, go and
20:23
do likewise. do likewise. It's It's
20:25
really all about looking
20:27
for opportunities to serve.
20:29
to make some So in going
20:31
to make some changes in
20:33
2025. the year is First of all, my
20:36
I of the year is deep inside, I
20:38
want to look deep inside, look in
20:40
my own eyes in the bathroom mirror,
20:42
and I want to make sure that
20:44
everything that I'm doing is aligned. I'm
20:46
going to brush up the going to
20:49
brush up the look of the
20:51
podcast a little bit this year. We're
20:53
going to have a new logo, logo.
20:55
a little bit of a new
20:57
treatment on the old logo. How about
20:59
that? And a new animation and
21:01
focus more on videos and breathing some
21:03
life into the subconscious mind mastery YouTube channel, channel,
21:05
putting some focus there. So a
21:07
lot of these episodes will be in
21:09
the future so the audio So the audio
21:11
will be extracted from the video.
21:14
And then sometimes we'll just do an
21:16
audio podcast like normal. but
21:18
I'm also going to do more interviews
21:20
of interesting people who have also overcome
21:22
these kinds of things things are on
21:24
their journeys and hear their stories. So I'm I'm
21:26
looking forward to all of that. We're
21:28
We're going to start with my dear
21:30
friend, Michelle Blood who now is kind of
21:33
a neighbor. I I mean, she's a couple
21:35
of hours down the road south of
21:37
me here, so we're going to connect.
21:39
Fred is going to be around around
21:41
then other interesting people with interesting stories
21:43
and we'll be looking for authenticity as
21:45
well as we go. go. So hope this helps.
21:48
helps. has its cycles and through
21:50
them we learn and grow. So
21:52
we'll see you in 2025 with
21:54
some more ways that we
21:56
can grow and that we we
21:58
can enjoy the journey. I'm
22:00
Thomas Miller. Thank you so much for
22:02
listening. Miller.
