She hosted the Slate podcast “Future Tense Fiction.”Previously, Stone was the science editor at Gizmodo, where she was also the founding editor of Earther, Gizmodo’s climate-focused vertical. She has also edited articles for The Verge, Polygon, and Grist.Stone's work has appeared in National Geographic, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Grist, Vice, and MIT Technology Review.
