2:52

2:55
an amazing man he's a he's been a great friend
2:58
of us ever since we got in contact with him um
3:01
his name is father bob bailey let me bring him
3:05
forward hey father how are you great good to
3:14
be out with you guys i really appreciate your
3:20
time and thank you so much for making time for
3:22
us because i know you're very busy No problem.
3:28
So, babe, do you want to start off with the first question, or do you want me to? Oh, me, you can
3:33
start. Okay. So, I wanted to ask you, what we
3:37
want to tell our viewers a little bit about yourself,
3:41
a little bit about what you do, and just basically
3:45
whatever you want to tell us. Okay. Well, I may...
3:51
A Roman Catholic priest. I'm retired right now.
3:54
Retired a little early because of some health
3:56
issues. But still a priest, which has now freed
4:05
me up, actually, to explore more of helping with
4:11
the paranormal. I don't have a parish anymore
4:14
and those responsibilities that I used to have. But I've been a priest for... 33 years or so
4:21
and, you know, various places. But I've had an
4:26
interest in the paranormal since I was a child.
4:31
And it mostly began with what I call Catholic
4:35
paranormal, miracles, apparitions, visions, and
4:38
things like that. But I always had an inner sense
4:44
of the battle between good and evil. and feeling
4:50
a calling to be part of that. And so when I became
4:54
a priest and then learned and came in contact
4:58
with people in the paranormal who sought out
5:02
my help as a priest, I then saw what I thought
5:07
was a calling within a calling, and that is to
5:10
help in the area of spiritual warfare and the
5:14
spiritual battle. And so I'd been on... different
5:18
podcasts and different things but mostly uh i've
5:23
been helping people uh that have asked for help
5:27
that i can actually get to uh to help them with
5:31
issues whether it be deliverance itself or what
5:36
i call uh liberations over home or places wow
5:44
that's amazing that is awesome That is such great
5:47
work. And I'm so happy that you're doing that
5:49
for people because that's absolutely amazing. And I find it absolutely amazing that you're
5:54
able to, you know, you had an interest in the
5:57
paranormal growing up and then you get into,
6:00
you know, this clergy work and then all of a
6:02
sudden you kind of can't really get into the
6:04
paranormal stuff. And then when you get out,
6:06
you actually are able to. And I find it amazing
6:09
that you're able to now use your work as a tool
6:12
to help others even further. And I find that
6:16
absolutely amazing. So I commend you, my friend.
6:19
Thank you. Thank you. I did it before, but it's
6:23
just not on the level that I am doing it now.
6:26
And I'm really happy about that. That's great.
6:30
That's great. So I know that, let's see, if I'm
6:36
correct, you have your own, was it the Holy Sword
6:40
Apostling? That's correct. I mean, years ago,
6:46
I had PWSM, which was the City of Morris at St.
6:51
Michael. And then when my associate and his family
6:59
moved to Carolinas, I kind of went a little dormant
7:05
on that, you know, and just kind of helped people.
7:09
you know, on my own on the DL, I guess, uh, just
7:13
helping individuals. And so it wasn't, uh, as
7:18
organized like it was before. We even had a,
7:23
uh, a YouTube, uh, show confronting the darkness
7:27
and we did things like that. Um, so, but yeah,
7:33
so now, uh, I began what they call the Holy Sword
7:37
Apostolate and it's, uh, a possibility that's
7:40
really blossoming and growing. I started out
7:45
with a group of what I call prayer warriors,
7:48
and they would be people that have been committed
7:50
to pray for what I do, and then any cases that
7:54
come up or anything that comes up, I would ask
7:58
them to pray, and they would do every day. Then
8:02
I was able to link up with a priest on the West
8:05
Coast, Father Ken, and that's when the ministry
8:09
really began to blossom. We decided to work together,
8:12
East Coast, West Coast, and to start a network,
8:16
mostly of clergy, but also of others' expertise
8:21
to help with that. So it's a big shout out to
8:28
Father Ken Torres, who's in... California. And
8:32
that's going. That's beginning to blossom really
8:35
nice. And then we're getting a board together also for the Holy Sword. So it's growing. That
8:43
is absolutely awesome. I also have a website
8:49
for education material. That's wonderful. There
8:56
needs to be more education. I think that everybody
8:58
should be learning. I think it's wonderful. I
9:02
love Father Ken. I met him a few years ago, and
9:06
he's been super helpful. He has taken time to
9:11
talk to me, to talk to many people. I don't know.
9:16
I don't know what I would have done without him a few months ago. Yeah, he's really – we hit
9:21
it off from the very get -go. And, you know,
9:24
we have become besties, and we haven't even officially
9:29
met each other, you know, in real time. So I'm
9:35
hoping to be able to see him maybe in August
9:38
if I go there for a conference. So, yeah, it's
9:42
funny. We're like the besties. We're associates.
9:47
together, working together, but we haven't physically
9:50
met together. You know, it's funny when you say
9:53
that, because the other host of our show, his
9:55
name is John Keyworth, and me and him met from
9:59
being a host on the show, and he actually, he
10:03
was a guest on the show, and it was funny, me
10:07
and him became best friends, and we never met.
10:09
And then all of a sudden, we just decided that we were going on a road trip to Montana State
10:13
Prison to investigate. So I flew out to Denver
10:15
to meet him and his whole family, sleeping in
10:18
his house, not even knowing it was the most awkward
10:20
thing ever. But it felt so comfortable because
10:22
we felt like we knew each other for like 10 years.
10:25
So I know what you mean. So I wanted to ask you,
10:31
though, Bob, I wanted to ask you. In your work,
10:34
when you were active, when you weren't retired,
10:37
were you able to really talk about the paranormal
10:40
to people? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's not front
10:44
and down upon? No, no, not really. Because I
10:51
had a specialized area, and that is spiritual
10:55
warfare, deliverance, the things that we hold
10:57
and believe as Christians. At the time when I
11:03
first began to do this, I went to the bishop at the time, and I talked to him about it. I
11:08
gave him a book from an exorcist, and he was
11:15
okay. I never had any problems. Oh, that's awesome.
11:20
That's so great because I've heard so many different
11:22
stories from people that say, oh, it's frowned
11:25
down upon and they try not to really do it and
11:29
stuff like that. I didn't know how it worked.
11:34
I don't say much. The adage that I learned in
11:42
the seminary is it's better to ask pardon than
11:44
permission. But honestly, I've talked about it
11:54
and there have been no problems. There's others
11:57
who don't believe what I'm doing or are cynical
12:00
about it. That's a different story, but I never
12:03
had a prohibition. So now tell me, Father, how
12:09
would you go about telling if somebody has either
12:13
a demonic possession or an oppression? What are
12:17
the steps that you would take to go and do those
12:20
steps for people who don't know? Yeah, part of
12:24
it for oppression or obsession or that kind,
12:31
you know, those kind of things for deliverance,
12:33
basically just interviewing them, asking questions,
12:39
asking them their medical history, psychological
12:43
history. asking about, especially if they're
12:48
sensing things on the outside in their homes
12:51
and stuff like that, asking questions, where
12:54
do they live? Do they live near a source? How
12:58
are their appliances that they're using? Are
13:03
they antiquated? You can check because sometimes
13:06
they give off things that can really work with
13:09
your mind and stuff like that. And if I go to
13:13
see them, It's usually I begin by praying. And
13:18
if they have an adverse effect to holy things,
13:21
then I know that there's some kind of an issue.
13:25
You know, and with the bulk of my work has to
13:29
do with homes or places. And my adage is there's
13:34
never hurts to bless. So whether I believe them
13:39
or not, whether I think there's a natural explanation.
13:43
A lot of times there is and that it gives them
13:47
comfort to bless the home. And so I will do a
13:51
thorough job of doing that. And, you know, that
13:54
helps. I've only ran in, in my experience, one
13:58
case of someone who's actually demonically possessed.
14:02
A lot of people talk about this one's possessed,
14:05
that one's possessed. You know, there's criteria for that. And when you come into a demon -possessed,
14:12
truly demon -possessed person, you know it. You
14:15
know it. And I was two hours, over two hours
14:19
over someone. And then all of a sudden I began
14:22
to realize that they were exhibiting classic
14:25
signs like speaking in languages. And it was,
14:31
you know, a young lady. And she had just had
14:36
this amazing strength all of a sudden. Her boyfriend,
14:39
who was very built, couldn't even handle her.
14:44
She was blaspheming. She had an aversion to holy
14:47
objects. And I began to realize, like, oh, wait
14:51
a minute. This is beyond my pay grade. I need
14:53
to call Bishop and ask him. Yeah, I know. Yeah,
14:58
I don't blame you. I mean, I I've only I've experienced
15:02
one. I got to sit in on an exorcism and it was
15:04
of a younger girl and she was literally like
15:07
around nine, 10 years old. And what I saw and
15:10
the strength that she had, you you knew right
15:13
away that it was something different. It wasn't
15:15
a normal what we would call spirit. You know
15:18
what I mean? It was definitely something strong.
15:21
and uh when i when i watched when i felt the
15:24
strength of her i was like oh my gosh you know
15:27
like it was it was intense it really truly was
15:31
and it was scary it was scary oh yeah and and
15:36
that's why i think a lot of these people talk
15:38
about demon possessed so i read it isn't real
15:42
demon possession i mean it's It's a sight that
15:47
you won't forget. It's not as common as I'm seeing
15:54
people saying that they're experiencing. Absolutely.
15:59
I think the TV has changed a lot of people into
16:02
doing it for fame now. Everybody's now you know
16:06
what I mean? It's sad to see that. Yeah, everybody's
16:13
an exorcist now. I would never call myself an
16:16
exorcist. Never. What I am is part of my priesthood
16:21
is the order of exorcists. But we can only exercise
16:29
that with permission from our bishop. And there's
16:34
a spirituality, there's a spiritual authority
16:36
that's given once you're giving permission out
16:39
of obedience. So I'm not going to go without
16:42
that or else I'm going to be beat up. I mean, because those, you know, you read about Father
16:47
Gabriel and Martha and true exorcists, you know,
16:50
that are out there, Father Carlos Montes, and
16:55
they'll tell you it's a dangerous game. It's
16:58
very dangerous. And you can't just go in there
17:01
willy -nilly and, you know, and, you know, I'm,
17:04
you know, I became an exorcist, you know, because
17:09
I took the course. I don't get that. I was going
17:14
to ask that. I was going to ask when you entered
17:16
the priesthood, do you pick, like, as you go,
17:21
do you feel led in one direction or another?
17:25
Yeah, not with that kind of thing, but we could
17:28
use our concentration in the seminary for scripture,
17:34
liturgy, theology, history, church history, different
17:41
things like that, but not on exorcism or deliverance,
17:47
no. It's part of our training, but it's not like
17:50
a whole concentration. Well, now, for your training,
18:00
you had to obviously, I would say, observe, correct,
18:05
another exorcist doing their work? I have, but
18:12
no, no. It's not part of my training. Oh, no.
18:16
Actually, no, no, no, not at all. Oh, wow. Let
18:20
me just. there's not that many around for every
18:22
you know if every seminary in the country you
18:25
know no yeah you know but i myself as a young
18:30
adult uh was part of a team um i will you know
18:35
i was not a priest or even a seminarian at that
18:37
point but uh yeah i i was allowed to be a part
18:42
of that and my uh my whole uh in that whole thing
18:48
was just to continually pray the Hail Mary during
18:51
the whole thing. And then the next time that
18:56
I was in the company of that is when I was doing
18:59
that deliverance, what I thought was a deliverance.
19:01
And, you know, it was, they were showing demonic
19:05
signs. Wow. Now, see, I always wanted to ask
19:12
this question. Know that you're not obviously
19:15
supposed to acknowledge it, talk to it, nothing
19:19
along those lines, during an exorcist or anything
19:21
along those lines. Can you explain kind of what
19:24
the reasoning behind that is? Sure, sure. No,
19:27
I can address it, yes, but never in my own name
19:31
because I have no authority on my own as a human
19:35
being. So when I see things on TV, they're talking
19:42
to what they consider demons. I'm going, if that
19:44
was a real demon, you're going to get clobbered.
19:47
So whenever I go in there, and I think it's an
19:51
evil spirit, like if that's attacking somebody,
19:54
I'll just say, in the name of Jesus Christ, I
19:57
command you. So I don't ask, I command, but always
20:02
in the name of Jesus. And a lot of times I use
20:05
Latin because it gets their attention too. Is
20:10
there something about Latin that gets you? There
20:14
is. Even in deliverance, I don't do exorcisms,
20:19
but exorcists will tell you that the use of Latin
20:23
is important and there's some kind of an authority
20:26
in using that language. So I do incorporate it
20:29
when I'm praying over a person who's obsessed
20:33
or is oppressed. Or even over a home or a place.
20:41
And there have been times when a person who is
20:45
oppressed has told me to stop speaking that language.
20:50
Whatever was in it was not comfortable with it.
20:52
Wow. There's like stages, right? To possession,
20:58
like obsession, oppression. Yes, there are. There
21:03
are different stages of what we call demonic influence. Yes, it could be oppression, which
21:09
is from the outside, and there are attacks and
21:12
temptations from the outside. Obsession is when
21:16
the person becomes obsessed with the phenomenon
21:21
that's going on. And so it's their own, their
21:27
mind or whatever has just... obsessed over that,
21:32
and that can be very dangerous for them too.
21:35
Then there's vexation, which is physical attack.
21:41
It could be biting, scratching, whatever. Then
21:45
there's also possession, which is the full takeover
21:52
of the body. And then the worst of all is subjugation.
21:56
That's when the person willingly gives themselves
21:59
over. to the demon. And when that occurs, there's
22:04
very little you can do because their free will
22:08
has consented. Those are different stages. And
22:14
then the most common is temptation. I was going
22:18
to say, what would you do in that serious situation
22:21
when someone gives themselves willingly over
22:23
and they want to get out of it? How do they get out of that? Well, I suppose if they want to
22:29
get out of it, then it's, you know. Then it's
22:34
willing. It can be a help. But usually they don't
22:37
want to be. And again, it's not an area that I know well because that goes beyond possession,
22:43
you know, demonic possession. And I've never
22:45
come into that. But there are people like, you
22:49
know, like I see website or Facebook profiles.
22:57
where people are saying, hail Satan, Satan is
23:00
great. They don't understand what they're saying.
23:04
If they're really doing that, then they're giving
23:07
themselves over. They are giving themselves over.
23:12
So that may be a subjugation. I don't know. See,
23:18
people don't even realize that the intent of
23:20
our words really has a big impact on all the
23:23
energy around us. Absolutely. And I feel like
23:26
I wish people would understand that more, you
23:28
know. Yep. Yeah. Intention is everything. Yeah,
23:35
definitely. Absolutely. I was just saying, yeah,
23:40
like stuff like that is like, you know, you're
23:42
opening doors that you can't necessarily close
23:46
on your own. Correct. I mean, you know. My pet
23:51
peeve, and I know I get some flack for it, is
23:54
I tell people do not use Ouija boards, do not
23:56
use seances because they open portals. Especially
23:59
when you don't know what you're doing and you're calling on something that you don't understand
24:04
the other side. And a demon may come through
24:09
saying, you know, I'm Uncle Johnny or, you know,
24:13
I'm a little child or something like that. And
24:15
it isn't. And then you've opened that door and
24:18
now you've got to try to find it. and close it.
24:21
And that's not easy. Our guest we had last week
24:25
was Joe Frank. He mentioned, you know, actually
24:28
the same in fact thing. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He's
24:33
part of the network. He's part of the Holy Sword.
24:37
Yeah, Joe's a great guy. And he told you about
24:41
the society that he's beginning? Yeah. Yeah,
24:45
which is awesome. And he, yeah, and so he's asked
24:49
me to be and father ken to be a part of that
24:51
you know oh that is awesome oh anything for the
24:55
warrens i you know i loved i loved lorraine oh
24:59
i'm very privileged to have worked with her so
25:02
i was about to ask you you got to work with lorraine
25:05
i did i did unfortunately i i did never get to
25:10
meet well i got to meet ed once in the seminary
25:12
i was in major seminary and my friend his parents
25:18
knew the Warrens. So he said, hey, they're giving
25:21
a lecture. So we got out of the seminary. I don't
25:23
know how we did it, but we did. And we went down
25:26
and I went to their lecture. But then once I
25:30
was on Paranormal State, Lorraine was also. So
25:34
I got to work with her a number of times on cases.
25:38
And it was, she was just, it was a blessing to
25:41
be, you know, to work with her and have her as
25:45
part of my life. How was your time when you worked
25:48
on Paranormal State? I know I saw a few episodes.
25:51
Yeah, it was great. The one thing I can guarantee
25:54
you is that nothing was faked. The only issue
26:03
with those things is they have to capsize into
26:06
an hour. Most of the time, almost all the time,
26:10
it was never just an hour. It was over a span
26:13
of days, maybe weeks, maybe a couple of different
26:16
times coming. I normally always came on at the
26:21
end if it was a dark case. I would come on in
26:23
the end to do a deliverance of the home or the
26:25
person. But it was great. I mean, Ryan was wonderful.
26:30
The group, you know, PRS group were great. You
26:34
know, Katrina, Heather and all of them. And,
26:41
you know, I was really blessed to have that time.
26:44
And through that, I got to meet Lorraine. I got to meet Chip Coffey. I got to meet Michelle Belanger.
26:48
So it really was a door opener for me to make
26:52
contacts. I enjoyed the time until, unfortunately,
26:57
it got to such an extent that I was a full -time
27:02
pastor. So, you know, you have a full -time job.
27:06
And some of the things, the cases, I had to be
27:09
on notice because they wouldn't fully know, you
27:12
know, if there really was a dark entity. So I
27:15
found it too much, but I really enjoyed the time
27:22
being with them and learned a lot. That's amazing.
27:26
Yeah, that is amazing because I tell you what,
27:28
that was one of my most favorite television paranormal
27:33
research shows that I've ever watched. Yeah,
27:40
I'll tell you probably why, too, as well. What
27:43
attracted me, well, first of all, what attracted
27:45
me was the fact that I wasn't afraid to use prayer,
27:49
but also because they were so client -oriented.
27:53
It wasn't about getting your fix of haunted places.
28:01
I mean, we did go to some places for conferences
28:06
and they had ghost hunts and all that. But that
28:10
wasn't the primary purpose of PRS. It was client
28:13
-oriented. And I think people resonated with
28:16
that. I know I did. Oh, yeah. No, I definitely
28:19
did as well. It wasn't like over sensationalized
28:22
like some of the shows you see today. No, no.
28:26
And Ryan had to fight for that. You know, there
28:29
were times they would, you know, you don't always
28:31
get these great, you know, when you say sensational
28:35
things that happen, it's not always a paradox.
28:39
And, you know, that doesn't sit right with people,
28:42
you know, with the show. They want sensational all the time. Oh, yeah. So, you know, they may
28:47
want to lead it in a direction that out of integrity,
28:52
it's not fair. So Ryan had to fight on times
28:55
for that. And I applauded him for that. Yeah,
28:59
absolutely. Yeah, I've been trying to get Ryan
29:03
to come on the show for a while now. I know he
29:05
was going through some things for a little bit, but he's back on the, you know, the grind again
29:10
with the paranormal, which I'm so happy to see.
29:12
And he's doing well. Yeah, I'll be seeing him
29:17
in May. Oh, awesome. Yeah. That's going to be
29:23
a great reunion. Well, actually, believe it or
29:26
not, we had kept in contact through emails and
29:30
even phone calls and stuff, but we hadn't seen
29:33
each other since I had left the show. So what
29:36
happened was last year I went to Gettysburg for
29:41
the Nesper Paracon, and Ryan was there. reconnect.
29:47
For me, it was a very emotional, really great
29:52
thing. This time, he invited me to go to the
30:00
penitentiary in Virginia, which I had gone with
30:04
them before, and then also in San Antonio, Texas.
30:10
That's awesome. Yeah. So and I also last year,
30:16
you know, thanks to Dave Giuliano, the White
30:19
Hill Mansion in New Jersey, I went to that and
30:24
I got to meet Katrina and Heather after a long
30:27
time. And that was very emotional for me. I was
30:30
just going to ask. Yeah, I was just going to ask if you've seen the rest of the cast. That's
30:34
great. Yeah. I keep in touch with Sergi and his
30:40
wife. We're friends on Facebook. The others I
30:44
have not, you know, I have not been in contact
30:47
with. Wow, that is amazing. I love what Katrina
30:52
has done with the field as well. Katrina has
30:54
really done very well as a female paranormal
30:57
researcher. She is, like, really excelling, and
31:00
I love it. I love seeing what she's doing. She's
31:03
coming to her own. Yeah, she has. And everything
31:06
she puts out, I love watching. Absolutely. Yep.
31:12
So, but yeah, I tell you, it's, it's, it's an
31:15
amazing, it's an amazing field. You know, there's
31:18
a lot of unfortunate, you know, downtimes with
31:21
people faking evidence nowadays and not taking,
31:24
obviously it's serious and provoking and doing
31:26
very dangerous things for viewers and followers
31:31
and stuff like that nowadays or for the YouTube.
31:34
But the whole point of, you know, bringing you
31:37
on, one of the reasons was to really express
31:39
to people. the seriousness behind what they're
31:42
doing, you know, this field. And that is not
31:45
a joke, you know? No. Seances and, you know,
31:51
using different tools that they don't know how
31:53
to properly use is going to cause more problems.
31:57
And it's going to be doors that they can't close
31:59
on their own. Meeting to people like yourself
32:02
and father Torres happened to get involved. What
32:09
was that? Oh, I said it's going to lead to them
32:12
opening all these doorways that they don't have.
32:15
Oh, yeah, yes. Yes, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. And
32:20
that's the thing, you know, because there's so
32:23
much misinformation on TV shows that show things,
32:29
people, that's where they're taking their truth from. You know, that's what they're taking their
32:33
example from. And, you know, and without a healthy.
32:40
I don't fear evil. I don't fear haunted objects.
32:46
But I have a healthy respect in that I don't
32:50
go looking for things. And I know how to approach
32:54
it if I have to. And I don't think a lot of these
32:58
people do. They're looking, unfortunately, for
33:03
the thrill of it. And I understand that. I totally
33:07
get it when I was younger. I mean, who doesn't
33:09
want to hear? go into a haunted place and get
33:12
activity. You know, it's a temptation. But it
33:16
also can be dangerous. You know, there are things
33:20
called you can get an attachment and bring it
33:23
home. Well, that's happened. Now, I wanted to
33:28
ask you with the work that you do and obviously
33:31
your faith. Now, have you ever brought an attachment
33:33
home? I have not. No, not that I know of. Okay,
33:41
great. That's great. Yeah, but my assistant did.
33:46
We did it. As a matter of fact, it's one of the
33:50
scariest cases. Actually, they covered it on
33:54
The Haunted, believe it or not. You can get it
33:58
on YouTube. It's called Demonic Seduction. It's
34:04
on The Haunted. And we did a case in the convenience
34:09
store, and it was a pretty intense case. One
34:13
of our guys, tech guys, got bit in the forearm
34:18
like a snake bite. And then, you know, it was
34:24
successful. But unfortunately, one of the demons
34:29
traveled home with my assistant and began to
34:34
wreak havoc at his home. so we had to do a deliverance
34:38
over him uh and the home oh wow but you can see
34:44
that you can see that if you go onto the youtube
34:47
and look under the haunted uh you know it's called
34:52
demonic seduction oh yeah we're watching that
34:56
tonight for sure yeah I mean, I'm sorry that
35:00
that happened. That's very intense. I mean, I
35:03
can't even imagine what that's like, you know,
35:05
to have one of the demons come home. But my question
35:08
about it is, how did you know it was one of the
35:12
demons? Did it, like, have the same similar,
35:15
like, signs as what you guys were dealing with
35:19
before? No, only the timing of it. Oh, okay.
35:24
You know, that it... It was right after we were
35:28
coming home, and there would be no other reason
35:30
for that to happen. Yeah, absolutely. I didn't
35:37
know. And the evidence that was caught was compelling,
35:40
even at the home. We had another guy, a tech
35:43
guy, scratched in the back. Oh, wow. And they
35:48
showed that. A candlestick moving in the middle
35:52
of the night on its own. We got that caught on
35:54
camera. um we got a banshee you know one of those
35:59
screaming demons um you can hear it and nobody
36:07
else heard it in the neighborhood oh my god so
36:12
that is wow i i would love to see that footage
36:17
of the candle and stuff oh my gosh It's on there.
36:21
Oh, is it? Oh, I cannot wait to see it. Oh, the
36:24
screaming, the candle, the scratches, all of
36:27
that. Oh, I can't wait to see it. Yeah, because
36:33
as a team, you know, we filmed that footage because,
36:38
you know, we always do those kind of things so
36:41
that I can refer to them and learn from them. So we gave that to The Haunted and, you know,
36:46
so they incorporated it into the thing. So it
36:49
was... you know more than just a recreation it
36:53
was actual they showed actual footage oh i can't
36:59
wait that's going to be amazing for like the
37:02
actual footage yes yeah yeah now tell me what
37:09
do you have coming up in the future do you have
37:11
anything coming up in the near future Yeah, I've
37:16
got a few more podcasts, which I find fun. I
37:19
enjoy it because I think it's a great educational
37:22
tool. I enjoy doing that. At the end of April,
37:28
I'll be going to St. Albans Sanatorium, giving
37:33
a workshop there. That's in, I think, Virginia
37:41
or West Virginia. st albans and then in may i'm
37:47
going on a road trip and that will be going to
37:50
eastern state penitentiary we're also going to
37:52
what is it western state eastern state i forget
37:56
eastern state i guess and then i'm going to uh
37:59
go to new orleans and then um oh that's gonna
38:04
be san antonio texas yeah oh that's gonna be
38:09
amazing Now, Tommy, can people come to the workshop
38:12
on the first one you were telling us about, the
38:16
one that's first coming up? Yeah, is there a
38:20
possibility for people to still get tickets for that? I would think so. They just have to call
38:25
St. Albans. And it's the weekend of the 25th
38:31
to the 27th or whatever the Friday, Saturday,
38:34
Sunday is in April. Yeah, I'm sure they could
38:39
still get tickets. Okay, great. Can you explain
38:42
a little bit about your workshop? Oh, what I
38:47
do, you mean? Yeah. Yeah, well, generally...
38:54
Without playing too much. No, depending on the
39:01
need. There are times when... People ask for
39:06
prayer like as simple as there was a lady who
39:10
was having being attacked in her dreams. So,
39:14
you know, I, you know, she lived maybe three
39:19
minutes, half hour away from me. So she came
39:21
over and I was able to pray over her and do deliverance
39:26
and, you know, pray for protection over her from.
39:33
attacks on the dreams and thanks be to god to
39:36
this day she still you know she had said me and
39:41
told me that she things are really doing well
39:43
um i just did a uh a house that was uh infested
39:53
and it was attacking a couple of people in the
39:55
house so i did a uh a deliverance actually pop
40:00
that will be on Expedition X, I don't know when,
40:04
but probably in the fall. They asked, well, they
40:10
wanted to, it's a funny thing, they wanted to
40:14
interview me, just to interview me because they
40:18
had heard about me. So I said, sure, on Deliverance.
40:22
So they said, we're working on a home in Rhode
40:25
Island. So I said, okay. So I said, by the way,
40:27
this is a small state. Could you tell me what town, you know, just what town it is? He said,
40:32
yeah, well, actually, it's right next to the Conjuring house. I went, oh, my God, Pat's house.
40:37
He said, yeah, why? I said, he's a friend of
40:39
mine. I said, I've been over there. I said, I've
40:43
been over that house to investigate. Yeah, there's
40:46
something there. I said that I promised him I
40:49
would go and do a deliverance. So they asked
40:51
if they could film part of it. And I said, yeah, fine. I said, if it'll be, you know, a good witness
40:56
of. what to do. So they did. And I'm assuming,
41:03
I'm assuming that when the, that movie, the final
41:08
movie of the conjuring comes out, that it would
41:11
probably, they'll probably air it around them
41:14
because it, there is a connection between the
41:17
conjuring house and that house. So. Now I wanted
41:22
to ask what Tammy was asking before. um she uh
41:26
we kind of got off track uh she asked before
41:29
um your workshops what are um can you tell us
41:33
a little bit about what your workshops are about
41:35
and what they kind of like are what they wait
41:38
there for yeah it depending on the talks i mean
41:43
they may just be giving i might just be giving
41:45
talks on demonology uh spiritual battle what
41:51
to do and all of that. A workshop would be, and
41:54
I did that at St. Albans many years ago with
41:56
my former partner there, and we would just talk
42:01
about what we do, what we do to prepare in the
42:05
days of prayer, what we do when we get to the
42:09
home. We set up a little altar. We do prayers
42:11
of protection, and then the main prayers that
42:15
we do. Going into each room with holy incense
42:21
and holy water, doing the parameters around the
42:25
house, burying four blessed metals on the four
42:30
corners of the property, and then putting salt
42:33
around there to create a hedge after the deliverance.
42:36
And then how to address, how to prepare, and
42:42
then how to do the prayers and warnings about.
42:49
don't start doing it in your own name if it's
42:52
a demon. So it's like a hands -on workshop that
42:56
I haven't done yet. I'm hoping to be able to
43:00
do that in some places now that we're established
43:02
again. I'm not sure if St. Albans is one, but
43:06
I'll also be actually be doing it with a shaman.
43:12
He'll be coming with me. So we'll be talking
43:15
about different traditions. You mentioned burying
43:25
the metals in the four corners of the house.
43:28
I've heard of other items being buried as well
43:31
or used in different practices, different faiths,
43:34
different beliefs. yep yeah i i usually do the
43:39
uh the metal of simbenedic because it's an exercise
43:42
metal but it can be any kind of blessed metal
43:44
that we do and and what it kind of does it what
43:48
it does is create a a um like a hedge of protection
43:53
you know uh and it's funny that when one of the
43:58
houses that i that i did That house I just talked
44:01
about, I had him go out and bury the four medals,
44:05
and he could hear something in the woods behind
44:07
him. And I said, what did you go alone for? Because
44:11
it spooked him, but he did it. But, you know,
44:15
since then, since then, there's been no activity.
44:18
So thank God for that. Yeah, that's great. I
44:23
mean, there are different things. I also have
44:27
a devotion to the souls in our Catholic faith.
44:32
We believe that there are purgatorial souls and
44:35
also that there are some earthbound souls. So
44:39
a lot of times, without doing every Mass that
44:42
I celebrate, is ask St. Michael and the other
44:47
saints to bring me souls that are ready to go
44:51
into the light. by the prayers of the Mass, would
44:57
be enough to bring them. And then after communion,
45:00
I just close my eyes, I picture the light, and
45:02
I just ask St. Michael with his fiery sword to
45:06
go in and then to the St. Nicholas to bring them,
45:11
to escort them, and to go into the light. And
45:17
so far... That's amazing. Yeah. And going to
45:22
cemeteries. I do the same thing in the cemetery. I go to historical cemeteries when I can. Yeah.
45:28
No, yeah. It's crazy that you said that because
45:31
when I was taught to actually do it, I was working
45:34
with a medium for a while. She was amazing. Her
45:36
accuracy was unfathomable. I've never seen someone
45:40
with such a gift before. And she never did it
45:44
for money. She always just did it to help people.
45:47
And she never wanted to, like, work in the without
45:53
like working with the light she wanted to always
45:56
work like obviously with the light she never wanted to go into the realm of what we would
46:00
call purgatory um that area where the souls need
46:04
help so when she met me she was like i'm willing
46:07
to try it to try and help these souls to help
46:09
you do your work And when we worked together,
46:12
I had the same experience that you were just
46:15
talking about. And the same thing happened. And
46:17
it was just it was it was amazing. It really
46:19
was to watch them cross over and now have the
46:23
ability to be able to help them. You know, it's
46:25
such a good feeling because I've had them come
46:27
back and actually say thank you in other sessions.
46:30
So it's amazing. And that's what I look forward
46:34
to. They're going to be there. When our life
46:37
is ended, you know, and it's time for us to go.
46:43
But, yeah, and even the souls, they can help
46:48
us. They just can't help themselves. So, you
46:51
know, they help us. We help them. It's a beautiful
46:55
doctrine that we have in the Catholic faith called
46:58
the communion of saints, the saints in heaven.
47:01
the saints that are on their way, you know, purgatorial
47:05
souls and those of us here still on earth. So
47:08
there's, there's a networking between us, a beautiful
47:11
networking. Amen to that. Amen for that. Well,
47:17
no, I just think it's beautiful. I think it just
47:19
brings me to thinking about like some of the
47:21
locations that I've actually investigated at
47:24
and how they, they have like contracts where
47:27
they don't want you to like, cross before it's
47:30
over and that always bothered me because it it
47:33
feels like they're using them as like a you know
47:37
a circus act and it's sad i agree wholeheartedly
47:42
that's because you have part for for the real
47:46
you know for the souls themselves uh yeah i i
47:51
just i i really i'm conflicted with that because
47:54
of that fact and um You know, I want to pray
47:59
for the souls no matter where I go. I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Me too. Absolutely. Absolutely.
48:05
And I had that happen at Montana State Prison.
48:07
They told us that we couldn't do that. And I told the lady at the end, I said, well, let me
48:11
ask you a question. I said, if that was your grandmother or your, say, son who was trapped
48:16
in that building, wouldn't you want to let him
48:19
free or let her free? Would you allow her to
48:22
be stuck here forever if you had the choice?
48:24
And then she looked at me and she was like, well,
48:27
you know, we are a business. And I'm like, it
48:29
doesn't matter. I said, it's not like these spirits are not going to come back to a location. It's
48:34
just obviously set them free. You know what I
48:36
mean? Like, come on. That's the problem. It becomes
48:40
a business. That's where it's kind of all going
48:45
wrong. I mean, every time you turn around, there
48:48
are haunted locations. And, yeah, because it's
48:52
a reality. I don't know to capitalize on that.
48:56
It's just, it's, it's tough. It is. It's a tough
48:59
one. You know, it's hard because I can't do it.
49:03
I've been asked like, why don't I try to make
49:05
money off of this and all that type of stuff. And you know, it bothers me and I don't want
49:10
to make money off it. And the reason being is because I have so much respect for this field
49:15
because of the souls and because of the people
49:17
that have lost people. It's like, I feel like
49:20
I'm doing myself a disservice by asking somebody,
49:24
There are people that are out there doing $225
49:28
for a paranormal one -on -one or 101 hot -up
49:32
paranormal. It's like, are you serious right
49:34
now? You're going to take $225 from a person
49:37
to do that? Like, that's just such low integrity
49:40
in my eyes. You know what I mean? And that's
49:44
the thing, too. I mean, we believe that, you
49:48
know, sometimes when I go to a house, It won't
49:52
be an earthbound or necessarily a purgatorial
49:55
spirit, but a spirit that's already crossed over
49:58
and with God. Now, don't forget, when you die,
50:01
you don't have a body, so you're not subject
50:04
to time and space anymore. If the angels, if
50:07
your guardian angel, which we believe is before
50:10
the throne of God always, but also by our side,
50:13
they can bilocate. So, you know, there's no time
50:18
or space. Some of these spirits are like guardian
50:22
spirits, their loved ones or whatever. And we
50:24
believe, and that's a beautiful thing about the community of saints too, is that, you know, they're
50:29
around us, you know, watching over us. How many
50:32
times will a loved one die so we sense them,
50:36
you know, around us? So we don't have to worry
50:41
about that, you know. Like a lot of these castles
50:46
in England and in Scotland or whatever, You know,
50:50
they have these hauntings, haunted castles, but
50:52
those are residual hauntings, mostly. You know,
50:56
they're there whether you see them or not. They're
50:59
like a projector going. That's a whole different
51:01
story than someone who's trapped. Yes. Yes, absolutely.
51:06
I agree. I totally agree. Completely, 100%. Yeah.
51:13
Somebody, do you want to ask them the moral question?
51:17
I had a question a second ago and then it disappeared
51:19
and we started talking. Yeah. If it comes back.
51:34
So my question is, Father, is what piece of advice
51:39
would you give to a person just starting out
51:42
in this field? If you had to give one piece of
51:44
advice, what would it be? Be prepared. Always
51:51
be prepared what you're doing. And treat it,
51:55
you know, if you go into this, you have to have
52:00
some degree of faith. Whatever your faith is,
52:04
make sure you're grounded when you're going to
52:07
do this work and prepared before you go into
52:10
these things. And because you don't know what
52:14
you're walking into. And be client -oriented.
52:20
That's all, you know. Be it for the help of people,
52:24
not for your own glory to feel experiences. Amen.
52:30
Amen to that. I totally agree with that. Amen.
52:35
Yeah. Oh, so what I was going to mention was,
52:37
like, I noticed there's a lot of people who are,
52:40
like, what you would call, like, more like ghost
52:42
hunters now. you know they're going into a location
52:46
and they're some of them are doing home cases
52:49
which is really scary to me and they can go and
52:53
stir things up and leave because they don't know
52:56
how to handle the situation whereas you know
53:00
they're not doing any like you know background
53:02
work before going in you know the actual research
53:05
part you know asking the right questions following
53:09
a protocol. There needs to be more education
53:12
on following a protocol when you're going to
53:15
handle a home case. Yes. I think you guys...
53:23
Oh, okay. Are you guys still frozen? I am, but
53:33
you guys froze a little bit. Are you? Oh, sorry
53:36
about that. That might be our connection. Apologies. Okay. Well, StreamYard, I know. I've been on
53:40
a few different ones, and this happens. It's
53:43
not uncommon. But, yeah, I agree. With home cases,
53:48
yeah, you've got to do your protocols. You've
53:52
got to do – we have with Father Ken, you know,
53:56
he's got this whole long protocol before we do
53:58
a case, and it's very comprehensive, and it may
54:01
seem like it's a – you know, cumbersome, but
54:06
we've got to create, we've got to understand,
54:09
you know, what the case is that we're going so
54:11
we can best help the people. You know, and I
54:15
understand the natural curiosity. I really do.
54:17
I get it. We all have that. But if you follow
54:23
the protocols and you get activity, all the better
54:26
for you, I guess. You experience it. It helps
54:29
to solidify your belief in the afterlife. That
54:33
can't be the reason why you're going in. And
54:36
again, yeah, you're right. It's not for the thrill
54:40
of the activity and the experiences, especially
54:47
when you're client -oriented. And yeah, how many
54:50
times does that happen? How many times these guys are going in with Ouija boards and brought
54:54
things in, open doors, then we have to go in.
54:58
But it's not as easy to find the portals. you
55:02
know, to close them. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely.
55:08
Absolutely. Yeah. No, I just have my house where
55:15
I still look and try to find, finding out, try
55:18
to where the portal is, you know, or, or where
55:22
the other one is, you know, once you close one,
55:26
you may not be closing all. No. Father, how would
55:31
you close a portal? Basically, what I do is I
55:35
just command. I use a prayer command, and I ask
55:40
the blood of Jesus to cover it. And then what
55:43
I do is I'll sprinkle holy salt or holy water,
55:46
whatever I have, and place a blessed metal in
55:50
the place, whether it be the room or a windowsill,
55:56
whatever the area of where. you know, in the
55:59
vicinity of where it is. It's all intent. So
56:03
my intent is that it's sealed. And I ask the
56:06
angels to guard so that nothing can go through
56:12
anymore. Yeah. No, that is absolutely amazing.
56:16
Thank you for telling me that. That's some great knowledge. Appreciate that. But Father, I want
56:23
to say thank you so much for your time. We truly
56:25
appreciate you coming on, spreading some knowledge.
56:27
I wanted to ask if you were available to come
56:30
on again sometime because there's so much more
56:32
I want to pick your brain about. So I would love
56:34
to have you on. Yeah. Keep in touch. Absolutely.
56:39
Definitely. We definitely will. So thank you
56:41
so much for your time today. And we really do
56:43
appreciate you a lot. Keep up with the great
56:46
work. Thank you. Thank you. God bless all of
56:49
you. God bless you. Bye -bye. Bye. Wow, babe.
56:59
So I tell you what, this was an amazing episode.
57:02
And the reason being is, you know, I didn't know
57:06
exactly what route I was going to take for question
57:09
wise or what way I was going to go with things
57:11
at first. But I tell you what, the knowledge
57:14
that Father Bob had was just right on point of
57:18
what I was going to ask. Oh, absolutely. I mean,
57:21
his experience, like his vast experience that
57:25
he's been doing this for quite a while. I mean,
57:28
I look forward to, I'm actually interested in
57:32
his workshops. Oh, yeah. Very interested. Yeah.
57:36
I'd love to attend sometime. Yeah, I would too.
57:40
I was just, it's funny that you said that because I was thinking that when we were on the show
57:44
and he said it and I was asking, I was thinking like, well, where was that, you know, workshop
57:47
at? Right. That's great. I hope everyone enjoyed
57:52
this show. We had a great time with Father Bob.
57:57

58:46

58:48
so much for your support, like I said, and we
58:51
truly appreciate you. Again, I'm AJ, this is
58:53
Tammy, and we are signing off. Later. Now, this
59:14
is the area where apparently you can hear the
59:19
whistling of Art or Arthur, the man that died
59:22
of a heart attack, constructing this part of
59:26
the lift locks. Yeah, that's where we actually
59:31
went right down there. It's just trees. The biggest
59:35
animal we're going to get in here is a badger
59:39
or a deer. But if it was a deer, we'd be seeing
