Journal Star Executive Editor Dennis Anderson chats with retiring veteran reporter Steve Tarter about his life and career in Steve's namesake podcast, Tarter Source. Steve has been a writer for the Journal Star since 1998 but was no stranger to the area before then. He graduated from Bradley University in 1972 and worked for the now-defunct newspaper, the Peoria Times-Observer, and in public relations for the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District.
