0:30
week 12 as we
0:32
near amazingly enough Thanksgiving.
0:34
Who would have thought
0:36
that Thanksgiving and the
0:38
Cooperush Tommy DeVito
0:40
matchup would be upon us
0:42
this quickly but it is
0:44
here we are and to get
0:47
ready for week 12 and all
0:49
that's ahead we are going to
0:51
be joined today by a
0:53
man that I basically cut my
0:55
professional NFL teeth on, a guy
0:58
I covered out in Denver for
1:00
15 years, one of the greatest
1:02
NFL players in history, John Elway,
1:04
a member of the Pro Football
1:07
Hall Fame, we got a call
1:09
recently, asked if we had any
1:11
interest in putting Elway on the
1:13
podcast in regards to a
1:15
medication he's taking, like, I get
1:17
the chance to start to John Elway,
1:19
anytime, anywhere, he is always
1:22
welcome. on this podcast. And so
1:24
John L.A. will come by to
1:26
talk about Bo Nix and
1:29
Mike Shanahan for the pro football
1:31
whole thing and how young
1:33
quarterbacks do and
1:35
don't develop in the game of
1:38
football. But before we get to
1:40
John L.A., we get to Ty Schmidt
1:42
of the Pat McAfee show
1:44
who's back this week's six

2:01
Shefty we mentioned it last week monumental
2:03
week in the NFL and it lived
2:05
up to the billing so many good
2:08
games Man, it's crazy. We you wait
2:10
all year for the NFL to start
2:12
and then like you said in the
2:15
blink of an eye boom. It's already
2:17
Thanksgiving. It's just crazy how fast this
2:19
moves Let's get right into the six-back
2:21
Shefty topic number one that Thanksgiving is
2:24
going to look a little bit different
2:26
than we anticipated you know, several weeks
2:28
ago. Giants, QB Change, Daniel Jones officially
2:31
benched, not just benched, he slid all
2:33
the way down to three on the
2:35
depth chart. So that Thanksgiving Day game
2:37
is gonna look a little bit different.
2:40
Danny DeVito or Danny DeVito, Tommy DeVito.
2:42
Danny DeVito, Tommy DeVito. Danny, the Giants
2:44
are going back to where they were.
2:47
last year and I don't think anybody
2:49
surprised that Daniel Jones gets benched with
2:51
the 23 million dollar injury guarantee due
2:54
to him now how that would work
2:56
would be if he wasn't healthy on
2:58
the start of the league year in
3:00
mid-March and he couldn't pass a physical
3:03
the Giants would have to pay him
3:05
12 of the 23 million and then
3:07
If he still remained unhealthy and unable
3:10
to pass a physical, by the time
3:12
training camp opened, they had owned another
3:14
11 million, 23 million total, 12 in
3:16
March, 11 in July, but the Giants
3:19
didn't even want to risk it. They
3:21
essentially ended Daniel Jones' time in New
3:23
York barring the unforeseen because they're not
3:26
going to stick him back out there
3:28
now when they have Tommy Danny DeVito
3:30
as the starting quarterback. and drew lock
3:32
backing him up and drew lock is
3:35
a quarterback that they went out and
3:37
signed during the off-season paid him five
3:39
million dollars but Tommy DeVito's outplayed him
3:42
during practice and what I find interesting
3:44
is they're going back to Tommy DeVito
3:46
because they believe that Tommy DeVito is
3:48
going to give them a spark and
3:51
they believe that he's going to help
3:53
them win some football games. And when
3:55
they went to Tommy DeVito last year,
3:58
the irony of this all is that
4:00
he went on a three game win
4:02
streak last year, ripped off three wins.
4:05
And as great as those three wins
4:07
were at the time, they knocked the
4:09
Giants out of the top five picks
4:11
and denied them the chance to go
4:14
draft Jayden Daniels and Drake May. Now
4:16
if they had stuck with what they
4:18
had last year and not gone to
4:21
Tommy DeVito and lost those games, they
4:23
would have been in position to take
4:25
maybe Jayden Daniels or Drake May two
4:27
quarterbacks that they certainly explored trading up
4:30
to get that they couldn't get. So
4:32
Tommy DeVito caused him a quarterback in
4:34
the draft in the spring and now
4:37
they're going back to Tommy DeVito again.
4:39
And if Tommy DeVito provides the same
4:41
spark, it's not the same type of
4:43
quarterback draft by any stretch of the
4:46
imagination by all accounts. The quarterbacks in
4:48
the upcoming 2025 draft are a notch
4:50
below, at the very least, the quarterbacks
4:53
in the 2024 draft. This is not
4:55
the draft, apparently, according to scouts, that
4:57
you want to have to rely on
4:59
to get a quarterback. But if Tommy
5:02
DeVito plays the way they want, the
5:04
way they hope, that's going to hurt
5:06
their draft position again. And it's going
5:09
to dampen the possibilities of... being able
5:11
to use a high pick on a
5:13
quarterback. They're not worried about that. Look,
5:16
these teams run it to win football
5:18
games. That's what matters to them. But
5:20
Tommy DeVito hurt their chances last spring.
5:22
And he has the potential now, based
5:25
on how he plays starting Sunday against
5:27
the Buccaneers and on Thanksgiving Day against
5:29
the Cooper Rush led Dallas Cowboys. to
5:32
hurt their draft chances again. Again, we'll
5:34
just go back to that Thanksgiving Day.
5:36
When the NFL set the schedule, there's
5:38
no way in hell that they thought
5:41
America is getting ready to sit down
5:43
at 4.30 Eastern on Thanksgiving afternoon when
5:45
everybody's around the TV to watch Tommy
5:48
DeVito versus Cooper Rush. So it's Thanksgiving
5:50
with an Italian flare. this year, but
5:52
that's where we're at, Ty. Yeah, and
5:54
Shefti, I mean, I don't think anyone's
5:57
surprised by this situation. It seems like
5:59
every single Monday, or at least the
6:01
first several weeks of the season, you
6:04
were coming on Pat Show, and it
6:06
was basically, you're getting the text like,
6:08
hey, the Giants are sticking with Daniel
6:11
Jones, they're sticking with Daniel Jones, so.
6:13
I mean the clock was ticking and...
6:15
That's the amazing part, right? When you're
6:17
answering that every single week that we're
6:20
keeping this guy as the starting quarterback,
6:22
it's only a matter of time before
6:24
that week rolls around where you're not
6:27
keeping him as you're starting quarterback. And
6:29
the clock finally struck 12. The only
6:31
upset was that I wasn't on your
6:33
show. The Pat McAfee show it to
6:36
release the news that Daniel Jones finally
6:38
had lost his starting job. It should
6:40
have happened. It should have happened in
6:43
the 12-20 Eastern Monday window when we
6:45
do the hits considering all the attention
6:47
that we devoted to Daniel Jones keeping
6:49
his starting quarterback job this year. I
6:52
mean it's crazy and you mentioned it
6:54
thanksgiving you know I mean that seems
6:56
kind of like cruel and unusual punishment
6:59
that we're gonna have to be watching
7:01
that game especially but although you know
7:03
post post meal depending on when people
7:05
have it maybe that's an easy little
7:08
time to take a nap and you
7:10
know maybe just miss that one avert
7:12
your eyes a little bit but yeah
7:15
I mean very interesting to see what's
7:17
gonna happen with the whole giant situation
7:19
topic number two before we get to
7:22
topic to you brought up a very
7:24
good idea They've incentivized everybody to eat
7:26
as much food as possible to go
7:28
into a food coma on Thanksgiving to
7:31
take a nap during the Giants and
7:33
Cowboys game. There you go. Ty, you
7:35
just solved America's problem. Yeah, well, you
7:38
know, I do my bet. I mean,
7:40
whether it's, you know, eating too much
7:42
food or just trying to get away
7:44
from your family, I think, you know,
7:47
averting your eyes from that game probably
7:49
is the right move. Topic number two,
7:51
Chefty, let's stick in New York. Breaking
7:54
breaking news today. The Jets fired Joe
7:56
Douglas. We talked about it on Pat
7:58
show earlier today. What do you make
8:00
of that whole situation? Well, it's amazing
8:03
just how quickly this whole season has
8:05
disintegrated for the New York Jets, right?
8:07
You have a season that started with
8:10
talk. of whether they could make it
8:12
back to the Super Bowl, whether they
8:14
could make it to the playoffs. And
8:16
now, they have fired their head coach.
8:19
They have fired their general manager. They
8:21
have lost more games than anybody expected.
8:23
The season hasn't gone the way that
8:26
anybody planned. They're basically doing a reboot
8:28
on the entire organization. Now, Joe Douglas'
8:30
contract was going to be up at
8:33
the end of this season. And there
8:35
was every possibility that he wasn't going
8:37
to return. but that's what made the
8:39
timing strange on Tuesday that with seven
8:42
games left in the season that they
8:44
just fire the guy at that point
8:46
in time like why not let him
8:49
finish it out and go through the
8:51
rest of the season and instead they
8:53
appoint the former Browns general manager who
8:55
by the way We'll have a job
8:58
in this league as soon as he
9:00
wants one because that's how many supporters
9:02
allies and friends he has. He'll have
9:05
another job here in no time at
9:07
all and I can tell you that
9:09
he's probably relieved and happy that Jets
9:11
gave him an early holiday present, go
9:14
home early, take the rest of the
9:16
season off, don't have to be here
9:18
during this law season, get to spend
9:21
holiday with your families, get to spend
9:23
the holidays with your family, and then...
9:25
basically come back and return with another
9:27
NFL team next season. Again, not how
9:30
anybody would have drawn it up, not
9:32
how anybody would have imagined it, but
9:34
the Jets have turned into one of
9:37
the season's biggest disappointments, and this is
9:39
just the latest iteration of that with
9:41
their team firing Joe Douglas on Tuesday.
9:44
Pretty peculiar, but you know, I think
9:46
it was Bill Bellcheck who mentioned it
9:48
on the Manning cast a couple weeks
9:50
ago It seems like Woody Johnson is
9:53
kind of a ready fire aim type
9:55
of guy. So when stuff like this
9:57
comes out of nowhere I guess you
10:00
just kind of chalk it up to,
10:02
well, that makes sense. But we were
10:04
kind of talking earlier there. I was
10:06
thinking, Shefti, if this is a complete
10:09
reboot here, I know he's on, he's
10:11
on the hook next year and they,
10:13
they owe him a bunch of money,
10:16
but I mean, does that lead you
10:18
to believe that Rogers, you know, like
10:20
that's open book as well, they're gonna
10:22
reassess that too? And. Aaron Rogers has
10:25
looked like a guy who sometimes as
10:27
I look at him, I just say
10:29
to myself, he has to be thinking,
10:32
what am I doing playing this sport?
10:34
I'm over 40. I've got enough money
10:36
for the rest of my life. My
10:38
team is not very good. He just
10:41
looks like a guy who sometimes has
10:43
wondered whether he wants to keep doing
10:45
this. And so I don't know if
10:48
there's any great yearning on his part
10:50
to keep playing for the New York
10:52
Jets. And I don't think there's anybody
10:55
there with the New York Jets that
10:57
has any great yearning to keep Aaron
10:59
Rogers. And so all the elements are
11:01
in place for both sides to be
11:04
able to move on. Now we'll see
11:06
what happens. For all we know they
11:08
hire Mike McCarthy as their head coach
11:11
and Mike McCarthy want to keep Aaron
11:13
Rogers and these things always can go
11:15
any which way depending on moves that
11:17
teams decide to make. But sitting here
11:20
today in late November, a week before
11:22
Thanksgiving. It is all set up for
11:24
the Jets and Aaron Rogers I think.
11:27
I think. to go their own way
11:29
after the season. All right, well, that's
11:31
something to keep tabs on. It'll certainly
11:33
be very interesting to see how that
11:36
whole situation shakes out. Let's move from
11:38
one dumpster fire to another chef. The
11:40
topic number three, what is going on
11:43
in Jacksonville? I mean, we saw the
11:45
press conference with Doug Peterson, where it
11:47
just looks like a guy who's almost
11:50
just ready to tap out and give
11:52
up up up there. What is going
11:54
on with that whole situation? Well, look.
11:56
By the time we tape this and
11:59
air this podcast for all I know
12:01
it could be outdated But for the
12:03
record let the record show that we
12:06
are recording this or 15 Tuesday afternoon,
12:08
November 19th. Here's what we know. We
12:10
know that there's gonna be change that's
12:12
coming to Jacksonville. We just don't know
12:15
when that will be. When will the
12:17
Jag Wars owner, Shad Khan, decide to
12:19
make his move? They are on their
12:22
biweek this week, coming off what was
12:24
the worst loss. in franchise history a
12:26
46-point defeat against the lions that exceeded
12:28
the 44-point defeat that they had in
12:31
December of 1995 against the lions. So
12:33
obviously the Jaguars don't fare well against
12:35
the lions, but this was a 46-point
12:38
loss. They're on there by, look, I
12:40
think it's fair to say that there
12:42
are going to be sweeping changes in
12:44
Jacksonville. When they come, we will see.
12:47
We will see. We will see. That
12:49
is up to the owner. But nobody
12:51
thinks that they're going to return this
12:54
current organization in its current form for
12:56
the 2025 season. I think it happens
12:58
sooner rather than later. I think that
13:01
Doug Peterson ultimately knows that he's on
13:03
the hot seat. The general manager Trampalki
13:05
is on the hot seat and it
13:07
won't surprise me if there is an
13:10
overhaul in Duval. And we'll just wait
13:12
to see when Shah Khan decides to
13:14
act. Like you can't have what he
13:17
said is the best roster that he's
13:19
ever had. Have a 2009 record. Sign
13:21
all these players to long-term contracts and
13:23
look as disappointing as they have this
13:26
season. So now you wait for the
13:28
fallout. And as we recorded for 17
13:30
right now, Thai, there's still no word
13:33
from the owner. But by the time
13:35
we get done taping this, we may
13:37
have heard from him. Well, and and
13:39
you mentioned it you know shot con
13:42
saying hey, this is the best roster
13:44
the most talented roster We've had on
13:46
paper someone asked Doug Peterson that in
13:49
his press conference and he kind of
13:51
just looked at him dumbfounded Like, listen,
13:53
I never said that. So, you know,
13:55
and I never talked to him about
13:58
that. But building a new stadium down
14:00
there and everything, like, they gotta figure
14:02
it out. You gotta hire someone who
14:05
can turn that thing around and make
14:07
them a winner. Otherwise, you got a
14:09
very expensive stadium and probably not a
14:12
very expensive stadium and probably not a
14:14
lot of people wanting to show up
14:16
to those games. And it's been bad
14:18
for a while. And I don't know
14:21
what they do because they've tried all
14:23
sorts of things and none. But it
14:25
hasn't worked so far. And so something's
14:28
gonna happen here. Without a doubt, Chefty,
14:30
topic number four, let's go from one
14:32
place, changing coaches probably to one place
14:34
that definitely will not be changing coaches.
14:37
Pittsburgh Steelers, up to this point, has
14:39
anyone been more predictable and impressive than
14:41
Pittsburgh has? I mean, I think we're
14:44
talking legitimate chance to make a deep
14:46
playoff run this year. Isn't it incredible
14:48
what they do? I mean, it's just.
14:50
It's unbelievable. They played the Browns Thursday
14:53
night this week. And if they win
14:55
that game on Thursday night and beat
14:57
the Browns, Mike Tomlin will have maintained
15:00
his streak of never having had a
15:02
losing season in his 17-year head coaching
15:04
career. Here we are talking about the
15:06
New York Giants who are struggling and
15:09
the New York Jets who fired their
15:11
team. And here we have at the
15:13
opposite end of the spectrum. Mike Tomlin,
15:16
who if he wins on Thursday night,
15:18
and certainly we'll find that win somewhere
15:20
along the way sooner rather than later,
15:23
this will be his 17th straight head
15:25
coaching year without a losing season. Do
15:27
you know what they would do for
15:29
that in New York or Jacksonville? He
15:32
has become, that organization has become, the
15:34
model of consistency and all lo and
15:36
be old. Look at that. Look at
15:39
the coaches. Chuck Noll, Bill Cower, Mike
15:41
Thomas. The Jets in a calendar year
15:43
will have as many coaches as the
15:45
Pittsburgh Steelers have had in their franchise
15:48
history, basically. So this is what you
15:50
get for basically being patient and stable.
15:52
And Mike Tomlin just comes in, and
15:55
you know what they're going to do.
15:57
They're going to play great defense. They're
15:59
going to run the football. They're going
16:01
to take their shots when they can.
16:04
They're going to win the turnover battle.
16:06
It's just amazing. like you know what's
16:08
coming and nobody can stop them now
16:11
i don't know that in the end
16:13
that they will beat the chiefs or
16:15
the lions but boy that is a
16:17
tough team and a quality organization and
16:20
they just continue to produce and at
16:22
a time and a day and age
16:24
where we see these franchises struggling to
16:27
find their footing where we see these
16:29
franchises going through G.M. and coaching candidates
16:31
on a semi-regular basis. Here is Pittsburgh,
16:34
plotting along, doing what they do. Never
16:36
having a losing season. Amazing. It really
16:38
is. And on Sunday, I mean, to
16:40
beat that Baltimore team without scoring a
16:43
touchdown, just ridiculous. Find a way. Find
16:45
a way. They always do. Exactly. And
16:47
then on top of that this year,
16:50
everything with Russell Wilson, where people were
16:52
killing Tomlin, hey. Justin Fields has got
16:54
everything going and for him to have
16:56
the balls and you know just the
16:59
the wherewithal to be like you know
17:01
what no we're winning but Russell Wilson
17:03
is the guy who gives us the
17:06
best chance to be the best possible
17:08
team we can be and look how
17:10
that's gone and by the way Justin
17:12
Fields did play very well and they
17:15
could have won with Justin fields but
17:17
I think my Tomlin felt we need
17:19
somebody that's going to be able to
17:22
throw the ball consistently successfully and effectively
17:24
in division games when Baltimore has a
17:26
week secondary and they didn't go in
17:29
and light it up on Sunday but
17:31
they play well enough to be able
17:33
to do that and all those people
17:35
like all those people questioning Mike Tomlin.
17:38
What are you doing going to Russell
17:40
Will? Okay, okay. You know, it's like
17:42
staying your lane. Staying your lane. Let
17:45
Mike Tomlin coach, you guys analyze and
17:47
let him keep making what he believes
17:49
are the right moves for his team.
17:51
Without a doubt, I mean, it really
17:54
is remarkable. Shefty, let's move along topic
17:56
number five from a consummate winner to
17:58
another one. What about the chargers and
18:01
everything that's going on in L.A. with
18:03
Harbaugh? I mean, it's just it's not
18:05
the chargers. This is a completely different
18:07
franchise. That's the whole thing. And that's
18:10
the whole thing, right? We're talking about
18:12
talent and consistency. Well, the chargers also
18:14
were remarkably consistent for almost the entirety
18:17
of their franchise history. They were a
18:19
soft, underachieving team that never played up
18:21
to its talent level that was basically...
18:23
as tough as the California weather. They
18:26
just could not be counted on. And
18:28
they get one guy who comes in
18:30
there, and it feels like that guy
18:33
has totally changed the culture and perception
18:35
of who the chargers are today in
18:37
Jim Harbar. Jim has done exactly what
18:40
he's done at every coaching stop along
18:42
the way. And to me, I look
18:44
at the chargers and I say, they
18:46
are a dangerous football team. They are
18:49
a team that people... is sleeping on.
18:51
They are a team that can make
18:53
postseason noise. They are a team capable
18:56
of beating the Chiefs. They are a
18:58
team capable of making a Super Bowl
19:00
run. Now, I don't know how the
19:02
postseason will go. I don't know if
19:05
they'll get there. I'll bet they will.
19:07
I don't know how much noise they'll
19:09
make, but Jim Harbaugh is in his
19:12
own way as consistent as Mike Tomlin.
19:14
And his teams are gonna play his
19:16
brand of football. And he was the
19:18
perfect hire. for that he has been
19:21
everything that the chargers never have been.
19:23
He's tough. He gets the most out
19:25
of his teams. He plays up to
19:28
their potential. He is exactly what they
19:30
needed. And that was the right hire.
19:32
And he's gonna be in a favorite
19:34
spot to win the NFL Coach of
19:37
the year. And he's totally turned around
19:39
that team. And again, it's gonna be
19:41
really interesting to see what they do.
19:44
as this season gets late and as
19:46
they make it to the postseason because
19:48
I think people have not talked about
19:51
the charges enough as one of the
19:53
top teams in the AFC. And you
19:55
said it I think that's the the
19:57
best and most refreshing part. He's gonna
20:00
do it his way right when he
20:02
comes in Joe all obviously is a
20:04
road grader He's but but that's not
20:07
really a sexy draft pick for your
20:09
first draft you know for him. It
20:11
is for him. He's he's he's the
20:13
one that's an offensive line or weapons
20:16
Exactly, but but you still have all
20:18
those people second-gues and hey Malique neighbors
20:20
is out there you got Herbert you
20:23
just got rid of all your you
20:25
know weapons on the outside you know
20:27
get a guy like that and Harbaugh
20:29
just said, you know, like, no, we're
20:32
gonna play my way, we're gonna win
20:34
my way, and we said it back
20:36
when he first got hired on Pat
20:39
Show. I think, you know, I said,
20:41
I expect them to win 11 games
20:43
their first year, just because that's what
20:45
Harbaugh does. They just win. It's as
20:48
simple as that, and winners win, he's
20:50
a winner, and look what they've done.
20:52
I mean, In the last, however many
20:55
years, they lose that game every single
20:57
time. Every single time. The Bengals come
20:59
back and they choke. It's just the
21:02
way it goes, but you get a
21:04
guy like Harbaugh and he stops that
21:06
immediately. It's remarkable. It really is. The
21:08
chargers have charged it in the past,
21:11
but they're the chargers no more in
21:13
their gym. Yeah. And like you said,
21:15
I think that's one team that a
21:18
lot of teams in the NFL. The
21:20
AFC certainly you're looking at them come
21:22
playoff time. That is not a team
21:24
you want to play. You want to
21:27
play. Oh, yeah, no way. All right,
21:29
Chefty, let's move on to the sixth
21:31
and final topic of the six pack.
21:34
Let's stay in the AFC West. Broncos
21:36
quietly are coming on big time. What
21:38
do you think has been the most
21:40
impressive thing about Bonex thus far? We
21:43
interrupt all the talk about Jaden Daniels
21:45
for offensive rookie of the year for
21:47
NFL MVP with this public service announcement
21:50
about Bonex. Do you realize this year
21:52
that through week 11, Jayden Daniels has
21:54
thrown for 2338 yards and Bonex has
21:56
thrown for 2275? So Jayden Daniels has
21:59
thrown for exactly 63 more yards than
22:01
Bonex has run for 295. So he's
22:03
run for 187. more yards than bonyx.
22:06
That's quite a lot. Jayden Daniels has
22:08
accounted this season for 14 total touchdowns.
22:10
You know how many bonyx is accounted
22:13
for? 19. 19. Jayden Daniels is 7
22:15
and 4. Bowkes is 6 and 5.
22:17
Could have easily been 7 and 4,
22:19
but he's 6 and 5. And the
22:22
point being is that as good as
22:24
Jayden Daniels has been, Bow Knicks is
22:26
coming up the rear right now. and
22:29
Bonix has become a weapon and a
22:31
force. And by the way, think of
22:33
the AFC West now, wow, the chiefs
22:35
and Andy Reed and Patrick Mahomes and
22:38
Travis Kelsey, the chargers with Jim Harball,
22:40
the Broncos with Sean Payton and Bonix
22:42
coming up here, Bonix's numbers are great.
22:45
And he's a rookie and he looks
22:47
like he's getting better right now. And
22:49
the Broncos have been... Such a flat
22:51
team for the last seven eight years.
22:54
and they haven't made any playoff runs
22:56
and as somebody used to cover that
22:58
team and knows that region well like
23:01
there could be few things in sports
23:03
more devastating to a region than the
23:05
Broncos being awful which is what they've
23:08
been. But Bonex has come in and
23:10
given them a reason to hope he
23:12
has put up numbers that are comparable
23:14
right now to Jaden Daniels. He has
23:17
pushed himself right into the conversation for
23:19
the offensive rookie of the year and
23:21
I might say after the Broncos made
23:24
any number of quarterback missteps and turned
23:26
to any number of quarterbacks who didn't
23:28
get the job done, it looks like
23:30
for now that they finally have landed
23:33
on a quarterback who can get this
23:35
team back to the playoffs and make
23:37
the Broncos relevant. And again, and that's
23:40
why it was the perfect time this
23:42
week to go back to the guy
23:44
that really... made the Broncos the franchise
23:46
that they are today a guy that
23:49
I covered for almost the entirety of
23:51
his career I missed the first five
23:53
years but it was great to cover
23:56
him get to know him he moved
23:58
on to the Broncos for an office
24:00
he's in the pro football hall of
24:02
fame he's as good a quarterback as
24:05
there ever was and it has been
24:07
an honor to work with him to
24:09
cover him and to become friendly through
24:12
the years with him the years with
24:14
him the great John Elway Get your

25:13
it's been five years since John Elway
25:16
revealed his journey with Dupetrin's contraction. Also
25:18
known as DC, a progressive condition impacting
25:20
the health of his legendary hand. It's
25:23
caused by a buildup of collagen that
25:25
forms a rope-like cord beneath the skin
25:27
of the palm. It's most commonly affecting
25:30
the ring and pinky fingers and often
25:32
occurs in men over the age of
25:34
50. There's no cure for DC and
25:36
while some people opt for surgery, the
25:39
condition can always come back. On behalf
25:41
of Endo Inc. John Elway is here
25:43
to share details of his experience living
25:46
with the condition and why he chose
25:48
a non-surgical treatment option used to treat
25:50
adults with DC. We'll also talk of
25:52
course about the current football season and

are doing and of course you can

26:02
for more information on dupatrons contracture. John,
26:04
how are we doing? We're doing great
26:06
and you did really good there. You
26:08
got the name. You got the dupatrons
26:11
down. That's good. Well, first of all,
26:13
how is your condition doing? How are
26:15
you doing with that? He's actually doing,
26:18
it's doing great. I had a, I
26:20
had an episode with it about five
26:22
years ago when actually went to, you
26:24
know, I was still working for the
26:27
Broncos and I actually went and saw
26:29
Steve Antonopoulos, our trainer and showed him
26:31
the condition that was developing and I
26:34
had no idea what it was. And
26:36
so he sent me to a hand
26:38
specialist over at Stedman Hawkins and went
26:41
over there. And, you know, and the
26:43
thing is about the dupentrons is not
26:45
knowing what it was, you know, anytime
26:47
you could stop, I couldn't put my
26:50
hand flat on a, on a, right.
26:52
And so I knew there was something
26:54
going on. trying to play some cats
26:57
with Augie my grandson. I couldn't put
26:59
my could get my hand on the
27:01
football like I like getting it on
27:03
there. So that's kind of that started
27:06
my journey and you know it's been
27:08
it's been great for the last five
27:10
years. I had the I had the
27:13
procedure done. like I said five years
27:15
ago when it was non-surgical I did
27:17
not want to have to go through
27:19
another surgery having experienced so many surgeries
27:22
playing football that I did not want
27:24
to have another surgery and so it
27:26
ended up being great and you know
27:29
I still have actually have another cord
27:31
in my hand that's coming back and
27:33
so it's something as you said that
27:35
does not does not cure it's not
27:38
curable but you can't get other episodes
27:40
of it which I do have a
27:42
cord in the middle my hand now
27:45
but we'll have no qualms about going
27:47
back and then seeing the hand doctor
27:49
again and having to explore the the
27:52
probably getting maybe getting this didn't it
27:54
done again to my the quarter my
27:56
my middle finger do you know what
27:58
caused all this like did this come
28:01
genetically from playing football no but it's
28:03
they say it is genetic it's northern
28:05
European so if you have northern European
28:08
descent they also call it to Vikings
28:10
disease and so uh We do have
28:12
some of that in my family. My
28:14
mom's side has Norwegian on her side,
28:17
so maybe that's where it came from.
28:19
But, you know, it's something that, you
28:21
know, it's amazing as many things as
28:24
I've talked about in my life. This
28:26
experience and the dupe trends, I've had
28:28
more people come up and ask me
28:30
about it. and any other thing I've
28:33
done. And so, really, it's been gratifying
28:35
to help people understand kind of what
28:37
it is and have them go see
28:40
their hand doctor to see if there
28:42
are non, a non-surgical option for them.
28:44
And so, unfortunately, the non-surgical option will
28:47
work for me. What is it that
28:49
people come up and ask you about
28:51
when it comes to due patrance? Well,
28:53
they come up and show me my
28:56
hand, their hands, right? So it's in
28:58
that I show my hand. And so
29:00
it's like, yeah, wow, that's the same
29:03
thing. And so it's an interesting conversation,
29:05
but it is amazing. I think we
29:07
did this probably four or five years
29:09
ago, the commercial four or five years
29:12
ago, and I'm still, I actually heard
29:14
two people come up to me yesterday
29:16
and ask me about it. So I
29:19
get a lot of conversation on it.
29:21
I'm glad that it can help people
29:23
understand that there is a non-surgical way
29:25
to go about the stupid trends and
29:28
not have to go. I've heard the
29:30
surgery is pretty intense and so this
29:32
is a way not to have to
29:35
have to have surgery. Now you mentioned
29:37
a grandson, how many grandchildren are you
29:39
up to these days, John? Well, we
29:41
just had our 10th. My youngest daughter
29:44
had her third child about a month
29:46
ago. So we now have 10 under
29:48
10. You have 10 grandchildren? 10 under
29:51
10. Yeah. So it's Christmas and Easter
29:53
and all the holidays are quite the
29:55
events these days. So it's really it's
29:58
a treat. What is the best part
30:00
about John Hill I can't like that
30:02
is so hard for me to wrap
30:04
my mind around that John Hill is
30:07
the grandfather of 10 grandchildren like that
30:09
is unbelievable That's the start of the
30:11
day John right there. I know yeah,
30:14
I will say there's nothing better than
30:16
being a grandparent because you get to
30:18
spoil them and you don't have to
30:20
discipline them and if they start crying
30:23
you give them back to mom so
30:25
it is it is a tremendous being
30:27
able to be a grandfather of 10.
30:30
Let me ask a question. Do you
30:32
ever think of your parents when you're
30:34
spending time with your grandchildren and how
30:36
much they would have enjoyed? They're great.
30:39
grandchildren? I do, I do, I do.
30:41
I wish they all, because we talk
30:43
about my mom and dad quite a
30:46
bit, which they had a chance to
30:48
experience and get them to know a
30:50
little bit, but, you know, it makes
30:52
me appreciate my parents a little bit
30:55
more than once, you know, they were
30:57
great parents and, you know, I was
30:59
lucky to have them as my parents,
31:02
and so hopefully I can be that
31:04
the same to my kids and even
31:06
be a better grandparent. Right. Thank you.
31:09
The Denver Broncos right now. Bow Knicks
31:11
is lighting it up John. He becomes
31:13
the first quarterback to start as a
31:15
rookie since a guy by the name
31:18
of John Elway. I'm curious to know
31:20
if you've had the chance to watch
31:22
him much and what you think of
31:25
Bownick so far. You know, I have
31:27
had a chance to watch him. I
31:29
think that I know Sean was really
31:31
excited about him after the draft and
31:34
when they drafted him, Sean was about
31:36
him. And I think it's a great
31:38
combination of a couple things. Number one,
31:41
Bodenix, his maturity level, his skill level,
31:43
you know, his experience that he had
31:45
in college football. I think he started
31:47
over 60 games in college and so
31:50
I think the experience level that he
31:52
got was tremendous. But I also think
31:54
and I've always I've always been a
31:57
someone that really believes in these young
31:59
quarterbacks having a coach that can walk
32:01
him through that first year. And that's
32:03
where I think. A lot of the
32:06
credit goes to Sean, to Sean and
32:08
that staff of how they, the situations
32:10
they put him in. Number one, the
32:13
Broncos are playing tremendous defense, which I
32:15
think is a little bit surprising, but
32:17
they've been tremendous on defense. So therefore,
32:20
you know, they haven't put them in
32:22
situations offensively where they've had to put
32:24
the whole burden on both shoulders. They've
32:26
been able to run the football. play
32:29
action off and keep bow in situations
32:31
that he can handle and as you
32:33
and you know as you watch since
32:36
the season goes on, Sean keeps giving
32:38
him more and more each week because
32:40
he gets handle more. So I think
32:42
it's a great combination of coaching on
32:45
Sean's part and his staff, as well
32:47
as, you know, both maturity level, experience
32:49
level, the word, you know, he's done
32:52
a tremendous job and it's exciting to
32:54
see the Broncos playing the way they're
32:56
playing. Playing quarterback in the NFL is
32:58
not easy. Playing quarterback in the NFL
33:01
is a rookie in the NFL is
33:03
a rookie in Denver is really not
33:05
easy. I'm curious to know how much
33:08
interaction if any. you've had with Bonix.
33:10
You know, I have not had a
33:12
lot of interaction. I've kind of, since
33:14
I've retired, I've kind of enjoyed the
33:17
good life and been traveling a little
33:19
bit, so I haven't had a chance
33:21
to really get over and spend a
33:24
lot of time with Bo. But I
33:26
think, you know, he's in great hands
33:28
and it's fun to watch, like I
33:31
said, it's fun to watch him work,
33:33
it's fun to watch Sean, put him
33:35
in the situations, put him in the
33:37
You know, even though you can get
33:40
by without the movement, it shares an
33:42
added bonus to be able to move
33:44
around, extend plays like Bo's been able
33:47
to do. So, you know, I think,
33:49
you know, the sky is the few,
33:51
you know, sky is the limit for
33:53
him. And I think that, you know,
33:56
he's just going to continue to get
33:58
better and better the more comfortable he
34:00
gets. So have you ever met Bo
34:03
next? No. ever spoken to Bonix? I
34:05
have not. I went to, you know,
34:07
I went to OTAs and was out
34:09
there one time and obviously he was
34:12
getting tugging to me in a bunch
34:14
of different directions so I didn't get
34:16
a chance to say a lot to
34:19
him but I look forward to the
34:21
time I do. That's amazing like a
34:23
guy you who have meant so much
34:26
to that franchise and have so much
34:28
experience in that job and that like
34:30
that's amazing to me that somebody is
34:32
well prepared and as studious and diligent
34:35
as bonix hasn't had the occasion to
34:37
even speak that's amazing to me. Well
34:39
yeah and I think that you know
34:42
there's another thing too is that you
34:44
know he's gonna get a bunch of
34:46
advice going into this first year right
34:48
and I didn't If I could help
34:51
him anyway, I'd like to, but obviously
34:53
he's getting great tutelage now with the
34:55
coaching he's got in the situations he's
34:58
in. So I look forward to meeting
35:00
him. But like I said, it's probably
35:02
more my fault than anything else because
35:04
once I retire, again from football, it's
35:07
kind of been nice to kind of
35:09
get away from it. And I haven't
35:11
had a chance to get over there
35:14
to meet him. You mentioned some of
35:16
these young quarterbacks, how important it is
35:18
to be in the right spot with
35:20
the right coaching. What are your thoughts
35:23
when you watch some of these other
35:25
rookie quarterbacks who are out there and
35:27
you've certainly assessed enough of these quarterbacks
35:30
to have an idea of how they
35:32
aren't doing but when you look at
35:34
like Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels and
35:37
Drake May and some of these other
35:39
guys what are your thoughts there John?
35:41
Well you know I'll say this animus
35:43
I've always believed that you know as
35:46
I said earlier that the quarterback and
35:48
coach relationship is so important especially as
35:50
a young one now. And I think
35:53
one of the things that, you know,
35:55
when these young guys come out in
35:57
their top five picks or top 10
35:59
picks, the expectation level is very high
36:02
in the NFL. They expect immediate results
36:04
right now. And I think that, you
36:06
know, a lot of times they're not
36:09
going to very good football teams. And
36:11
so therefore, there's a lot put on
36:13
their shoulders. And so to try to
36:15
keep them out of that situation as
36:18
Sean has done. But and I think
36:20
the other thing too is You know,
36:22
these guys are great athletes. They've been
36:25
great players through high school to college.
36:27
They don't get, they don't, they're not
36:29
a top five pick unless they've been
36:31
good at every level up to this
36:34
point in time. And I think once
36:36
you get into the, the NFL, now
36:38
you get into the media attention and
36:41
you get into those type things to
36:43
where all of a sudden there's negative
36:45
press. They're not used to having the
36:48
negative press. And I think that's what
36:50
happened to these young guys is the
36:52
fact that they get that they get
36:54
that negative press. And sometimes at point,
36:57
you know, even have with me and
36:59
my career, you know, the world starts
37:01
caving in on a little bit. And
37:04
I think to be able to dig
37:06
out of that, not lose their confidence,
37:08
which is the key thing, and take
37:10
base. steps because that's what it takes
37:13
to be in the NFL. You know,
37:15
other than the success of Bowes having,
37:17
which has been better each week, you
37:20
know, it takes time. It takes time
37:22
to adjust to this, to the NFL
37:24
from college football. Everybody's a great player.
37:26
And so, you know, it takes time.
37:29
And I think that patience is key
37:31
with young quarterbacks. You and I have
37:33
talked about this before. It's amazing for
37:36
as much scrutiny as you were under
37:38
during your time as a quarterback in
37:40
the National Football League. You played before
37:42
social media was created. What do you
37:45
think it would have been like to
37:47
play in this day and age where
37:49
everything is out there that you do?
37:52
Right? Well, exactly. And I think that,
37:54
you know, it's the same old thing.
37:56
It was like, you know, when things
37:59
are a little bit tough, that the
38:01
last thing you want to do is
38:03
pick up a newspaper. to where, and
38:05
I always say this too, about social
38:08
media, those are the guys that used
38:10
to wait three hours to get on
38:12
top radio. And now that now it's
38:15
instant. So those comments can be seen
38:17
instantly. And I think that, you know,
38:19
the one advice I would have for
38:21
any of those young guys is to
38:24
stay off social media and stay out
38:26
of that because it's, you know, very
38:28
rarely is very positive. It's a lot
38:31
more negativity than there is positively. So
38:33
I think for me it would be
38:35
it's the same thing. When things were
38:37
tough, I didn't pick up a newspaper
38:40
or turn on a TV. Just continue
38:42
to go about your business and dig
38:44
yourself out of that hole. And that
38:47
would be tougher than ever in this
38:49
day and age. I always remember the
38:51
image, honestly. Walking into the dining hall.
38:53
in really Colorado every single summer of
38:56
breakfast. You were one of the last
38:58
guys at breakfast every single morning sitting
39:00
there reading a newspaper by yourself sometimes
39:03
right every morning reading the newspaper John
39:05
I remember that was that was when
39:07
they still thought it was pretty good
39:10
we were still a training camp I
39:12
didn't get to that first start yet
39:14
so well wasn't your first start where
39:16
you lined up behind the guard in
39:19
San Diego was that your first start?
39:21
No, that was probably my 10th start.
39:23
Yeah, so what happened? What do you
39:26
remember about that? We were in a
39:28
two-minute drill so therefore they moved the
39:30
ball and my excuse is they moved
39:32
the ball on me so But I
39:35
tell you the person that wasn't most
39:37
shocked was the guard when I put
39:39
my hands under the guard He was
39:42
like what that turned around what the
39:44
heck you doing? Move one over so
39:46
Right and can you imagine if that
39:48
were to happen in today's day and
39:51
age like people would a Oh he's
39:53
doing, he's got no idea what's going
39:55
on out there. No idea, he doesn't
39:58
even know where the center is, but
40:00
yeah. Exactly, same kind of thing. Sticking
40:02
in the AFC West, for years when
40:05
you played quarterback for the Broncos, I
40:07
always remember everybody in San Diego at
40:09
the time, Oakland or Los Angeles, wherever
40:11
the Raiders were playing, where Kansas City's
40:14
talking about what a miserable experience it
40:16
was to have you in the division
40:18
and to basically dim their chances of
40:21
winning the division every single year. What
40:23
do you think when you watch Patrick
40:25
Mahomes play today John and what stands
40:27
out about his game? Well, you know,
40:30
he's got all the tools. I think
40:32
he's a great, you know, number one,
40:34
I think he's a great competitor. I
40:37
think that's what makes him is that
40:39
the fact that to play is consistent
40:41
week in and week out at the
40:43
level that he does. means he's a
40:46
great competitor. And I think, you know,
40:48
and I'll go back to the same
40:50
thing too, I think Andy Reed is
40:53
one of the most unheralded head coach
40:55
and doesn't get mentioned with the greatest
40:57
coaches of all time because of the
40:59
success he's had with Patrick, how he's
41:02
handled Patrick, but also the success he
41:04
had when he was in Philadelphia too.
41:06
I mean, he got to one Super
41:09
Bowl, got the four straight NFC championship
41:11
games and so. I think Andy Reed
41:13
is a tremendous coach. He hires tremendous
41:16
coaches underneath him. And so, but getting
41:18
back to Patrick, I think that, you
41:20
know, he's got all the tools, he's
41:22
athletic, can move around, make all the
41:25
throws, all the arm angles, has a
41:27
six cents of finding the open guy
41:29
when he does get out and move
41:32
around and find somebody, usually it's Kelsey,
41:34
but, and Kelsey does a heck of
41:36
a job, getting open for him. You
41:38
know, it does make the AFC West
41:41
that horrible because, you know, everybody knows
41:43
they're going to have to go through
41:45
Kansas City. And, uh, and he knows,
41:48
and, you know, he's going to be
41:50
there a long, long time. So we
41:52
got to figure out a way to
41:54
be able to beat him. You were
41:57
in Denver's front office when Patrick was
41:59
coming out in the draft, correct? You
42:01
remember studying film with him, evaluating him,
42:04
and even consider drafting him, maybe the
42:06
year ahead of that. before that or
42:08
whatnot. So we weren't in the quarterback
42:10
market, but you know, really looked at
42:13
Patrick, we evaluated him and obviously, Andy
42:15
saw a lot in him and knew
42:17
what he could do with him. And
42:20
I think that, again, I go back
42:22
to the same thing as that quarterback
42:24
or that coach that could put that
42:27
quarterback in situations that He does best
42:29
that he's best at and I think
42:31
you know Andy's molded that offense around
42:33
Patrick and take full advantage of what
42:36
you know what his abilities are. You've
42:38
now brought up the importance of coaching
42:40
a couple different times there. Our friend
42:43
Mike Shanahan is up for the pro
42:45
football hall of fame in the coming
42:47
weeks. What would you say to the
42:49
voters out there about why Mike Shanahan
42:52
belongs in the pro football hall of
42:54
fame? Well, I would say that, you
42:56
know, obviously Mike, you know, my father
42:59
was a coach and, you know, the
43:01
guy that I leaned on the most,
43:03
but the next guy that had the
43:05
most influence on my career was Mike
43:08
Shannon, not only as a head coach
43:10
when we're able to win two championships,
43:12
but also when he came in in
43:15
in 1984 and was a quarterback coach
43:17
and then became the offensive coordinator before
43:19
he went to be the Raiders head
43:21
coach and then come back a little
43:24
bit. But I think that when you
43:26
look at the game at the influence
43:28
that Mike Shannon had, you know it
43:31
started obviously with Bill Walsh and then
43:33
when Mike went to San Francisco's the
43:35
offensive coordinator I believe in 91 or
43:38
92 you know learn that offense inside
43:40
and out and then when he came
43:42
back to the Broncos as the head
43:44
coach, what he did to transform that
43:47
offense. I think everybody, when you talk
43:49
about it, everyone says whether it's West
43:51
Coast base or not, 90% of those
43:54
things are not West Coast based offenses.
43:56
But I think what, where I look
43:58
at Mike is I look at what
44:00
he did to that offense, what he
44:03
did with it formationally, how to figure
44:05
out what defenses were doing before the
44:07
ball was snapped by putting people in
44:10
different, different areas. split the tied ends
44:12
out going in the slot and those
44:14
type things to work. You made the
44:16
defense commit what they show what they're
44:19
going to do defensively. And so in
44:21
the different things he did with the
44:23
running game, you know, with the zone
44:26
game and how he advanced that system,
44:28
I think is huge because everybody's doing
44:30
it. You see it with Kyle. You
44:32
see it with McVeigh. All those guys
44:35
that have run those offense that are
44:37
really bright off defensively. Most of those
44:39
guys have come from Mike's tree. And
44:42
because I know McVeigh was with Mike
44:44
in Washington, but you look at Mike's
44:46
coaching tree, I think is unparalleled. And
44:49
I think, you know, you go right
44:51
back to that. He's won two championships.
44:53
He got back to an AFC championship
44:55
with the Broncos and that's some success
44:58
in Washington. So, you know, I just
45:00
think his ability to offensively scheme people
45:02
up is tremendous. Plus having him as
45:05
a quarterback coach and the way that
45:07
he handles players. You know, he's He's
45:09
one that puts pressure on players and
45:11
raises the expectations of what we can
45:14
do as a team, not what the
45:16
other team is doing, but as long
45:18
as we play the way we're capable
45:21
of playing, we can beat everybody. And
45:23
I think that he instilled that confidence
45:25
in us, especially my last two years
45:27
when we had two really good football
45:30
teams. We're able to win that championship.
45:32
And so, you know, Mike is something
45:34
that somebody that I wholeheartedly believe deserves
45:37
to be in that hall of fame.
45:39
And I hope it's this year. to
45:41
me. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I
45:44
agree. Hey, John, I want to thank
45:46
you very much for the time. It
45:48
is always a pleasure. When they asked
45:50
me, they said, you want to come
45:53
on. to talk to John about his
45:55
DC. I want to talk to John
45:57
any time he's offered up to me.
46:00
Like any time John's, of course. Well,
46:02
I tell you what, I was happy
46:04
to see you with my first interview
46:06
too, because it's always good to see
46:09
you and get a chance to talk
46:11
to you, and plus, you know, also
46:13
talk about the Broncos and what they're
46:16
doing, because I'm excited to see you
46:18
and get a chance to talk to
46:20
you, and plus, you know, I honestly
46:22
I got it down right so we
46:25
are definitely and by the way the
46:27
same goes if you're in New York
46:29
okay the same goes if you're in
46:32
New York you call me I will
46:34
do that I know there's a lot
46:36
of good golf back there so I
46:38
would be on I would be honored
46:41
to take you out honored and I
46:43
mean that you got we'll do it
46:46
McDonald's meets the Minecraft universe with

46:58
a limited time on Minecraft movie

47:02
really a runner. The way I
47:04
see running is a gift, especially
47:07
when you have stage four cancer.
47:09
I'm Anne. I'm running the Boston

47:33
there is the great John Ellen.
47:36
Now I find that amazing that
47:38
he is neither spoken with nor
47:40
met bonyx. Like that is incredible
47:42
to me that... John Elway, who's
47:44
meant so much of that franchise,
47:46
has never met or spoken with
47:48
Bonix. Like, if I were Bonix,
47:50
John Elle would be one of
47:52
the first guys that I would
47:54
reach out to. Or maybe, I
47:56
guess you'd wait to have John
47:58
Elway reach out to him, and
48:00
John's busy being the grandfather of
48:02
10. which is also amazing to
48:04
me. That blows my mind. 10
48:07
grandkids, like, how could John L.A.,
48:09
who I've known since the early
48:11
part of his career, have 10
48:13
grandchildren, but he does, and it's
48:15
amazing, and it's incredible. All right,
48:17
we also talked about Jim Harbaugh
48:19
in the six-pack tie, and starting
48:21
on Friday night, four p.m. we
48:23
are going to have a Harbaugh
48:25
special leading up to the Monday
48:27
night match up between Jim and
48:29
John Harbaugh on Monday night football
48:31
the Ravens play at the Chargers
48:33
and back at the owners meetings
48:35
in March we sat down with
48:38
Jim and John Harbaugh and then
48:40
I went out to their families
48:42
home with Jack and Jackie Harbaugh
48:44
their parents last month spent a
48:46
day with them and we put
48:48
together basically I would say it's
48:50
like three-part series about the horrible
48:52
family history and the truth of
48:54
the matter is there's so much
48:56
good stuff that it couldn't even
48:58
all fit in this show but
49:00
they did a great job putting
49:02
this together and getting it all
49:04
ready for air this week on
49:07
ESPN and The director, Sandarvis Duffy,
49:09
did an unbelievable job. The executive
49:11
producers, Craig Lazarus, Jose Morales, Greg
49:13
Jewell, tremendous job. A lot of
49:15
people put a lot of time
49:17
into this. And the horrible family
49:19
was incredibly cooperative. And it was
49:21
so good, Ty, that we're going
49:23
to take the audio of the
49:25
Jim and John interview and play
49:27
the full sound of Jim and
49:29
John. And this spot next week
49:31
leading up to Thanksgiving, what's better
49:33
than family food and football and
49:35
the harbor is all about family
49:38
and football. So we're going to
49:40
play Jim and John in their
49:42
entirety, the sound. Next week in
49:44
this spot on this podcast, but
49:46
the special will run this week
49:48
on an ESPN to and then
49:50
there will be pieces that run
49:52
on Sunday countdown on ESPN and
49:54
Monday night countdown leading into the
49:56
Monday night matchup between John and
49:58
Jim Harbaugh and Thai. They are
50:00
awesome. Yeah, I don't doubt it,
50:02
chef. You've kind of... talked about
50:04
how great they were and how
50:06
excited you are for that and
50:09
what a perfect time to do
50:11
it you know something to look
50:13
forward to anyone who's traveling on
50:15
Thanksgiving or anything like that you
50:17
know you don't have a TV
50:19
or anything you got to keep
50:21
your eyes on the road so
50:23
I'll definitely be dialed in and
