signs are unfolding and the time

0:02

is near to the second

0:04

coming in Jesus Christ. End

0:06

Time Ministries is on a

0:08

mission to reveal the prophecies

0:11

of the Bible and prepare

0:13

you for what's coming. But

0:15

today on the End Time Show, we're

0:18

gonna go deeper. It's not

0:20

just about survival, it's

0:22

about your soul. Join

0:24

us as we focus on

0:26

the spiritual strength you'll

0:28

need for the return of

0:30

Jesus coming sooner than you

0:32

might think. Good

0:49

afternoon

0:53

everybody, I'm Dave Robbins with End Time Ministries

0:55

and I thank you for joining me

0:57

on this edition of the end

0:59

time show. I

1:01

want you to imagine

1:03

if human beings

1:06

like us could

1:08

eventually embody the

1:10

very nature of

1:12

Almighty God. Now

1:14

I know that I'm just gonna

1:17

stretch your mind today, but

1:19

actually this is what God wants. There

1:22

are two promises

1:24

in 2 Peter

1:27

chapter one, Verses eight

1:29

and 10 says, for

1:31

if these things be in

1:33

you and abound, they

1:36

make you that ye shall neither

1:39

be barren nor unfruitful in the

1:41

knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1:44

Wherefore, the rather

1:46

brethren, give diligence to make

1:48

your calling and election

1:50

sure. For if you do

1:52

these things, ye shall

1:54

never fall. Think about

1:56

that. These are

1:58

some of the attributes of

2:00

Jesus Christ that we need to apply

2:02

to our lives in these end times

2:04

post -Starborn again experience. And I wanna

2:06

talk to you about these today. I

2:09

know that we're always in the news,

2:11

we're talking about world government, world religion,

2:13

and all these different prophecies, the precursor

2:15

to the mark of the beast, and

2:17

we've got to talk about them. But

2:20

as a watchman on the wall, not

2:23

only do we need to instruct

2:25

people in those things, but we

2:27

need to help prepare you spiritually

2:29

for the soon return of Jesus

2:31

Christ. And so I'm

2:33

gonna get off into the spiritual

2:35

aspect in these segments of the

2:37

End Time Show. It's what this

2:39

is devoted to today. You

2:42

know, when we truly grasp

2:44

these truths and let them

2:47

radiate through our lives, we

2:49

will never be barren. Think

2:51

about that. This is crucial

2:53

because scripture warns that every

2:55

tree not bearing fruit will

2:57

be cut down and cast

2:59

into the fire. So

3:02

it's a matter of life

3:04

and death. It's absolutely non

3:06

-negotiable. And

3:08

the final verse makes it clear. If

3:10

we practice these things, we

3:13

will never fall.

3:15

This is the

3:17

foundation of biblical

3:19

eternal security. So

3:21

it's probably something we ought to know about, right? So

3:25

here's the salient passage

3:27

of scripture. It's

3:29

found in 2 Peter, chapter

3:31

one, verses one through

3:34

11. And here's what it says. through

3:54

the knowledge of God

3:56

and of Jesus our Lord.

3:59

According as his divine power

4:01

hath given us all things

4:03

that pertain unto life and

4:05

godliness through the knowledge

4:07

of him that hath called

4:09

us to glory and virtue.

4:12

Here it is. Whereby

4:14

are given unto us

4:17

exceeding great and

4:19

precious promises that by

4:21

these Ye might

4:23

be made partakers of

4:26

the divine nature,

4:28

the godly nature, having

4:30

escaped the corruption that is in

4:32

the world through lust, and

4:35

beside this, giving all

4:37

diligence, add to

4:39

your faith virtue, add

4:42

to your virtue knowledge, and

4:45

to knowledge temperance,

4:47

to temperance patience, to

4:50

patience godliness, and

4:52

to godliness, brotherly kindness,

4:54

and finally, to

4:56

brotherly kindness, you're going

4:58

to add charity or

5:00

love. For if

5:03

these things be in you

5:05

and abound, they

5:07

make you that you shall never be

5:09

barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of

5:11

our Lord Jesus Christ. But

5:13

listen closely everyone, but

5:16

he that lacketh these things

5:18

is blind and cannot see

5:20

afar off. and have forgotten

5:22

that he was purged from

5:24

his old sins. Wherefore,

5:26

though rather brethren, give

5:28

diligence to make your

5:30

calling and election sure.

5:33

For if you do these

5:35

things, ye shall never fall. For

5:39

so an entrance shall be

5:41

ministered unto you abundantly into the

5:43

everlasting kingdom of our Lord

5:45

and Savior, Jesus Christ. Now,

5:47

everybody, Obviously, very,

5:49

very important scriptures, right? This

5:52

is God's assurance.

5:54

This is God's promise

5:56

that we will

5:58

belong to his eternal

6:00

kingdom forever and

6:02

ever. So post

6:04

your born again experience, that's

6:07

just day one. You just

6:09

got started when you got

6:11

born again. Now we need

6:13

to mature as Christians and

6:15

take on these attributes. And

6:18

it may take a lifetime to do that. But

6:21

I need to work in that direction with

6:23

God's help. So

6:25

it's obvious. And

6:28

honestly, I can't think of

6:30

a more significant passage in all

6:32

of scripture. It

6:34

perfectly captures the essence

6:36

of what the Christian life

6:38

is truly meant to

6:40

be. Reading these 11 verses

6:42

is one thing. but

6:45

stepping into the reality of

6:47

being a partaker of the

6:49

divine nature is something far

6:51

deeper than that. There's a

6:53

lot of people that have

6:55

read these scriptures and thought,

6:57

yeah, that sounds good, moving

6:59

on. But

7:02

oh, if you can apply these things

7:04

to your life, you talk about

7:06

an enriched Christian walk, you

7:08

know, it's actually God's will

7:10

for each of us

7:12

to experience this. as a

7:14

living truth, not just

7:17

as some kind of a

7:19

theological concept or an

7:21

abstract idea, but it's God's

7:23

will for us to

7:25

experience this. And this

7:27

is what we're gonna talk about today.

7:29

I'm gonna do a deep dive into

7:31

that, but first I need to mention

7:33

a conference, a prophecy conference, that my

7:35

wife and I will be doing in

7:37

Houston, Texas, South Houston, this

7:39

coming Saturday and Sunday, I

7:42

will be at the Christ Church.

7:47

12815 Fuqua Street. That's F

7:50

-U -Q -U -A Street. They're

7:52

in Houston this coming Saturday

7:54

evening, April 26th at

7:56

6 p .m. I'll be doing the

7:58

new lesson, America's Prophecyed Future. And

8:00

then on Sunday morning, April 27th

8:03

at 11 a .m., I'm gonna be

8:05

preaching an evangelistic service, probably giving some

8:07

of my testimony and then we'll

8:09

go off into a message that I

8:11

believe God has laid upon my

8:13

heart. And so if you need something

8:15

from God, we're expecting it to

8:17

happen this weekend. And if

8:20

you've never been in an evangelistic

8:22

service with us, that'll happen

8:24

Sunday morning at 11, anywhere in

8:26

the Houston area, come down

8:28

and be with us there. You can go

8:30

to endtime .com, all the addresses and everything are

8:32

there. You can check it out

8:34

under the events and the conferences tab.

8:38

Okay, with that said, Let

8:41

me get off into some of

8:43

these attributes and some of this teaching

8:45

here. And this may be a

8:47

first of a series that we do

8:49

over time because I'm only going

8:51

to be able to scratch the surface,

8:53

but I wanted you to understand

8:56

what end -time ministries is really all

8:58

about. Yes, we do deal with the

9:00

prophecies, but our goal is to

9:02

prepare you to teach the gospel of

9:04

God, the gospel of the kingdom

9:06

of God in its entire scope. And

9:08

to do that, we need to

9:10

prepare you both physically, mentally, and spiritually

9:12

for the second coming of Jesus

9:14

Christ and the times just ahead. So,

9:19

the first question, let's go

9:21

at it from this

9:24

perspective and angle. What

9:26

does it mean to be

9:28

a partaker of the divine

9:30

nature? It sounds awesome, doesn't

9:32

it? But how can I

9:34

actually participate in this? Well,

9:37

Ephesians chapter four, verse

9:39

11 through 13. It

9:42

says, and he gave some

9:44

apostles, some prophets,

9:47

some evangelists, some

9:49

pastors and some teachers, for

9:51

the perfecting of the saints, for

9:55

the work, this is the five -fold

9:57

ministry, for the perfecting of the saints,

9:59

for the work of the ministry, for

10:02

the edifying of the body of

10:04

Christ. until we

10:06

all come into the unity of

10:08

the faith and of the

10:10

knowledge of the Son of God

10:12

unto a perfect man, unto

10:14

the measure of the stature

10:17

of the fullness of Christ.

10:21

So God's desire for

10:23

each of us, once

10:25

we are born again, it's

10:28

really for every person, but especially, you can't

10:30

really start these things. You need to be

10:32

born again first, then you can start off

10:34

on this journey. God's

10:36

desire is for each of

10:38

us is that we mature

10:41

into a full measure of

10:43

Christ's character. The

10:45

divinely appointed role

10:47

of ministry in our

10:49

lives is to

10:52

guide, to teach, and

10:54

to speak truth to us,

10:56

right? Somebody that can help

10:58

me understand these things and how

11:00

to apply these things to my

11:02

life continually. until we

11:04

reach the fullness of

11:06

Christ stature in our lives

11:08

and that our lives

11:10

reflect his attributes in every

11:12

way. Now, a

11:15

lot of times, once a person's born

11:17

again, God's got to do some

11:19

whittling and some filing, right? And you're like

11:21

on clay on a potter's wheel and some

11:23

part will get marred and God's got to

11:26

work on that and sometimes that's not comfortable.

11:28

But that's part of the Christian experience.

11:30

God's got to removed

11:32

some of those rough edges, and

11:35

sometimes that takes years. Let's

11:37

just face it. But

11:40

the apostle Paul,

11:42

he spoke in Galatians

11:44

chapter four, verse

11:47

19, and he said, my

11:49

little children of whom I travail in

11:51

birth again, until

11:53

Christ be formed in

11:55

you. So

11:57

each of us longs for

11:59

the assurance that Christ

12:02

is truly being formed within

12:04

us. And it's a

12:06

struggle, right? There's the world

12:08

and the enemy's always pulling

12:10

at us. And then Jesus

12:12

Christ is pulling the other way. And

12:15

it's a struggle. And

12:17

you need, that's why the Bible says that

12:19

you need to just, you know, once a

12:21

person's born again, old

12:23

things are passed away, behold, all things

12:25

are becoming new. You're pulling away from

12:27

the world at that point. and I'm

12:30

becoming like Jesus Christ. And

12:32

that's what a true Christian should

12:34

be doing that. And

12:37

at the moment of being born

12:39

again, we begin

12:41

our journey as spiritual

12:43

infants. However, maturity

12:45

in Christ is meant

12:48

to follow the

12:50

new birth. You

12:52

don't, you know, 20 years from now, you're not

12:54

gonna be like you were day one when you

12:56

were born again, at least hopefully. Hopefully

12:58

things have changed and you've

13:00

progressed into a mature Christian by

13:02

that point. So

13:05

if you're newly born

13:07

again, there may be

13:09

things in your life right now

13:11

that the Lord will call, will

13:13

later call you to leave behind.

13:16

Can't do that anymore. Now you're

13:18

a new creature. And

13:20

that's because God desires

13:22

for us to grow and

13:24

begin reflecting his character. Remember,

13:27

Once you're born again, now you're an

13:29

ambassador of Jesus Christ in the kingdom of

13:31

God. And I've

13:33

got to reflect Christian

13:36

character and Christian attributes,

13:38

Christ -like characters and attributes.

13:41

And this isn't something to be afraid

13:43

of. It's something

13:45

to embrace and to hope

13:47

and it's a joy

13:49

because now I see, I'm

13:51

starting to see things

13:54

through the eyes of Jesus

13:56

Christ rather than through

13:58

my old physical eyes, and

14:00

everything kind of changes. And

14:03

what's happening is, as

14:05

a born -again Christian,

14:07

you're now being shaped

14:09

into the fullness of

14:12

Christ's stature, and that

14:14

transformation is a beautiful,

14:16

wonderful, ongoing

14:18

journey. And

14:20

again, it takes years. You'll

14:23

struggle with things and I mean,

14:25

it just, it depends on a

14:27

lot of different things, but we

14:29

need to start moving in a

14:31

certain direction, and that's to becoming

14:33

a mature Christian. So

14:37

what Christians believe? So

14:39

remember the, Peter

14:42

said that we need to

14:45

start with our faith, okay?

14:48

Add to your faith virtue. So you gotta

14:50

get your faith, you gotta get that

14:52

foundation set. So to

14:54

do that, you've got to know

14:57

what you believe. If you

14:59

don't know what you believe, you're

15:01

going to be stuck because every

15:03

wind of doctrine that will come

15:05

along, and I've seen many, many

15:07

people like this, every little

15:09

wind of a new doctrine that comes

15:11

along, boy, they'll just go following off

15:13

after that. And then somebody else will

15:15

come along and say something, boy, they're

15:17

following after that one. And they never

15:19

can become settled in. This is what

15:22

I believe. And that's the way the

15:24

Bible wants us to be, right? So

15:27

I want to talk a

15:29

little bit about what Christians believe,

15:31

because this is the first

15:33

step in a – my father

15:35

-in -law used to teach the

15:37

keys to spiritual growth. Well, this

15:40

would be the first step

15:42

in keys to spiritual growth. There

15:44

are eight steps to

15:46

partaking in the divine

15:48

nature, remember, in 2

15:50

Peter. And

15:52

the first one is faith. You

15:55

gotta know what you believe. Bible

15:58

says, he that come with the God must

16:00

first believe. Faith and, and

16:03

it's, Bible says in Hebrews that it's

16:05

impossible, without faith it's impossible to please

16:07

God. I've gotta know what I believe.

16:09

What do I have faith in? What

16:11

do I believe? What's my foundation? My

16:14

concrete foundation. Can't have

16:16

a foundation built on sand.

16:19

Doesn't work. I've got

16:21

to have a concrete foundation. Here's what

16:23

I believe. And that needs to be

16:25

the truth. You can't have

16:27

a concrete foundation set up on, you

16:29

know, there's a thousand gods because the

16:31

Bible says, here always with the Lord

16:34

our God is one Lord. There's only

16:36

one God. So I've got, that's one

16:38

of my, that's one of the things

16:40

I have set on this big concrete

16:42

foundation. That's, that is non -negotiable. There's one

16:44

God. That's it. End of story. That's

16:46

the cornerstone of all truth. Once you

16:49

move off of that, you go into

16:51

some pagan belief systems. The

16:54

Israelites, they were the

16:56

only people on earth that believed in

16:58

one God. Back in the Old

17:00

Testament, the one true God. Everybody

17:04

else were pagans, right? And

17:07

so that's what we have to

17:09

believe today. That's a foundational truth,

17:11

one God. And

17:13

then the Bible says, add to your

17:15

faith virtue. And again, over time, You

17:17

know, it's going to take a long

17:19

time to do it, but we'll spend

17:21

time on some of these. Today,

17:23

I'm going to focus on faith. But

17:26

add to your faith virtue, virtue, knowledge.

17:28

You got to study the word of God.

17:31

You got to increase in knowledge. Temperance.

17:33

Add to your knowledge temperance. Temperance,

17:38

patience. Patience,

17:41

godliness. Godliness,

17:43

brotherly kindness, and to brotherly

17:45

kindness, charity or love. you

17:47

got to love people. And

17:50

the Bible didn't say that you're just going

17:52

to get along with everybody in the greatest way

17:54

possible. It didn't say that, but you got

17:56

to love them. And

17:59

so the point is, is

18:01

that faith is the very

18:03

first step in our journey

18:05

toward God. And

18:07

it is worth noting

18:09

that four verses in

18:11

2 Peter chapter 1,

18:13

Four verses are devoted

18:15

specifically to faith while

18:17

the remaining seven verses or

18:20

the remaining seven attributes

18:22

are covered in the next

18:24

three verses. So

18:27

faith, very, very, very

18:29

important, right? If you're not settled

18:31

on what you believe and it's the

18:33

truth, then you can go

18:35

in any direction. I mean, it's just,

18:37

you know, who knows

18:39

after that point. So

18:41

the apostle Peter, he

18:43

clearly emphasizes the critical

18:45

role of faith because

18:48

it is the foundation

18:50

of the entire Christian

18:52

life without a solid

18:54

foundation of faith. We're

18:57

like those, again, who build their

18:59

house on shifting sand. It's not

19:01

gonna stand. Hebrews chapter

19:03

11, verse six, it says,

19:14

and that he is a rewarder of them

19:16

that diligently seek him. So

19:19

our starting point

19:21

must be faith, believing

19:23

that God exists,

19:25

and that he listens

19:27

to us, and

19:30

that he is a rewarder

19:32

of those who seek him

19:34

in prayer. He

19:36

is a God who hears

19:38

and answers prayer. If you

19:40

don't believe, Imagine

19:42

all of you that are in a

19:44

Christian walk right now. If you

19:46

don't believe that God hears and

19:49

answers prayers, you are

19:51

gonna be one frustrated Christian.

19:54

Because if you don't believe in the

19:57

power of prayer that there is

19:59

a God and that he hears and

20:01

answers prayers, then you're not gonna

20:03

pray. And if you don't

20:05

pray, you will have no relationship

20:07

with God. Okay?

20:10

So these are foundational beliefs. This is

20:12

a foundational belief system of a

20:14

Christian. What do we believe? Add to

20:16

your faith. You got to get

20:18

your faith right. And

20:21

you've got to believe. The

20:23

Bible says God is the spirit. They that

20:25

worship him, let's worship him in spirit and in

20:28

truth. I've got to pray and I've got

20:30

to study the word of God. And

20:32

if you do not believe that God

20:34

hears your prayers, you will not pray.

20:36

You can try to force somebody to

20:38

pray. You can... you know, hold them

20:40

down in an altar or whatever you

20:42

want to do, but if they don't

20:44

believe, they will not pray. That's

20:46

why most people don't pray today, because

20:48

they don't have any faith. People

20:51

that have faith and believe God

20:53

hears and answers prayers, they're the ones

20:55

that are praying. So

20:58

it's very, very important. I'm talking

21:00

about maturing as a Christian post

21:02

your born again experience. Now,

21:06

It may seem

21:08

really beyond comprehension

21:11

that we as

21:13

human beings, finite

21:15

human beings could

21:17

influence the actions of

21:19

Almighty God. But

21:21

scripture assures us

21:23

that we can.

21:27

Time and time again, the

21:29

Bible invites us to come

21:31

boldly before the throne of

21:33

grace to bring our needs

21:35

before the Lord, right? And

21:38

in response, God

21:41

promises to be our ever

21:43

present help in the

21:45

time of need. I

21:47

have had God answer, I

21:50

don't know how many prayers for me

21:52

over the course of my lifetime. And

21:55

he has answered prayers for

21:57

people all around me in

21:59

my sphere of influence over

22:01

and over. And I mean,

22:04

hundreds if not thousands of

22:06

times. And

22:08

so you can't tell me that

22:10

God doesn't hear and answer our

22:12

prayers. He absolutely does. But

22:14

if you don't pray, it's not gonna

22:16

work. So you gotta have

22:18

faith. There is a God and he does

22:20

hear and answer prayers and he will

22:23

do that. And

22:25

he doesn't always answer them

22:27

like I would want. But

22:29

I know the Bible says all things work together for

22:31

good to them who love the Lord. and are called

22:33

according to his purpose. So I

22:35

may want one thing, but God says, oh,

22:38

Dave, you know, two or three years from

22:40

now, that's not gonna be the best. So

22:42

I'm gonna do it what's best for you.

22:44

And I trust God to do that. And

22:46

it's worked out great every time. It's

22:49

when I've taken things under my own hands

22:51

that I messed things up, right? Have you

22:53

ever done that? And so

22:55

let God deal with it. Turn

22:58

it over to God. Say,

23:00

what does that mean? Turn it over to God.

23:02

you're going to trust God that he's going to deal

23:04

with a certain situation. You

23:07

say, well, I don't believe God

23:09

could do that. Well, then you're going

23:11

to be stuck because if you

23:13

don't believe God can do something, you've

23:15

got to go back to where

23:17

your faith foundation is and you've got

23:19

to re -pour a new foundation. I

23:22

was in construction for 20 years.

23:24

I poured so many foundations for factories

23:26

and houses and stuff. I mean,

23:28

oh man, I know about pouring foundations.

23:32

And so if you get to the point where you

23:34

think, I don't know if God could handle that

23:36

or not, you need to go back to the beginning.

23:39

And the Bible says without

23:41

faith, it's impossible to please

23:43

God. So God's gonna

23:45

make it so you're walking by faith. Okay, I

23:47

told you, we're just gonna get started on this.

23:51

So I wanna be sure

23:53

that we don't overlook

23:55

the four verses dedicated to

23:57

defining our faith because

23:59

everything else, Look at

24:01

the scripture, the Bible says everything else

24:03

is gonna stack on top of your

24:05

faith. You gotta get your faith foundation

24:07

right. And that's where the

24:09

journey begins. Then

24:12

it progresses from faith

24:14

to virtue. Virtue to knowledge,

24:16

knowledge, temperance, patience, patience,

24:19

godliness, godliness, brother, kindness, and

24:21

then finally to charity. If

24:24

we don't understand what

24:26

we believe, we won't be

24:28

able to stand strong. And

24:31

again, I see Christians

24:33

that are always questioning, questioning. There's

24:35

nothing wrong with wanting to

24:37

figure stuff out and needing your

24:39

questions answered. There's nothing

24:41

wrong with that. But

24:44

the foundational biblical truths of

24:46

the Bible, when you're 10

24:48

years into this thing and

24:50

you're still questioning some of

24:52

those foundational truths, well, I

24:54

wonder if there is, you

24:56

know, 100 gods out there,

24:58

huh? No, it's right there in

25:00

the Bible. You don't question that. When

25:03

Deuteronomy 6 -4, here it was where the

25:05

Lord of God is one Lord. But

25:08

there are people that still question, maybe

25:10

there's three. Maybe there's 10.

25:12

I don't know. Maybe there's a thousand. No,

25:15

go look in the Bible. The Bible

25:17

has the answers to these things. You

25:21

know, we're living

25:23

in a time of

25:25

really intense conflict. between

25:28

these belief systems. Many

25:30

people today aren't even sure

25:32

what they believe at all. Now

25:35

that would be scary to me. I

25:38

just don't know what I believe. Huh?

25:41

Where are you going to spend eternity? I

25:44

don't know. I hope I go to heaven. You

25:46

better figure out what you believe. And

25:48

I'm just telling you folks, this is where

25:50

the rubber meets the road. We can talk

25:52

about all kinds of things and go down

25:54

all kinds of rabbit trails, but I'm telling

25:56

you, You better know what you believe and

25:58

it better be the truth. Jesus

26:01

Christ said, I'm the way, the truth and the life.

26:03

No man comes to the Father but by me. But there

26:05

are a lot of people, there are a lot of

26:08

people on the earth that argue that. Hell

26:10

man, when Jesus Christ splits those

26:12

clouds wide open and sends his angels

26:14

with the sound of the trumpet

26:17

in the very near future, you

26:19

better know what you believe and it

26:21

better be the truth. It better be the

26:23

word of God. And

26:25

that's what we're going to stand by. You

26:28

know And you can feel

26:30

this there was a there

26:32

was a time when being

26:34

an American often meant being

26:36

Christian But that it seems

26:38

like it's almost no longer

26:40

the case for many and

26:42

now there's a wide there's

26:44

a wide range of worldviews

26:46

that have made their way

26:48

into our culture Islam Buddhism

26:50

Zoroastrianism Wiccans which are witches

26:52

and many others constantly challenging

26:54

our faith And if

26:56

we don't firmly establish what we believe, our

26:59

spiritual foundation will

27:02

be unstable. And

27:04

the house that we're

27:06

building, it will not

27:08

stand. So, very

27:10

important that we establish

27:12

the right foundation. Get your

27:14

faith right. What do

27:16

I have faith in? Is

27:18

it the truth? Because

27:20

I want to make it to heaven. And I

27:22

want everybody in my sphere of influence to make

27:24

it to heaven. So I'm going to build my

27:27

truth and my foundation on the word of God. A

27:29

reminder of the breaking news this

27:31

hour, at least 22 people are reported

27:33

to have died in a strike

27:35

in Gaza. The

27:39

rise of Islam. I try

27:41

to bring answers for so

27:43

many families desperately. Is

27:46

the Israel Hamas -Iran conflict

27:48

World War III? So

27:50

let's talk about the four

27:52

horsemen. What

27:54

do these horses symbolize?

27:59

These are the four spirits

28:01

of the heavens, which go

28:03

forth from standing before the

28:06

Lord of all the earth. In

28:08

the end time, the true

28:10

people of God will not be

28:12

weak, anemic, and defeated. These

28:14

prophesied events are revealing we are

29:18

End time ministries has a

29:20

kind of a two

29:22

tiered operation that we're doing

29:24

here. We're trying to

29:26

help people. You know, we teach

29:28

and preach the gospel to the kingdom of God because

29:30

the end time is now. And

29:33

there are two things that

29:35

we are interested in helping you

29:37

with. Yes, preparing mentally and

29:39

physically for the times just ahead,

29:42

but also spiritually for eternity. and

29:45

post an individual's born

29:47

again experience, then

29:49

you need to become a, you

29:51

need to work towards being, becoming

29:53

a mature Christian. And

29:56

of course, Second Peter talks

29:58

about, add to your virtue,

30:00

your virtue knowledge and write

30:02

on down the line. Well,

30:04

you've got to get your

30:06

faith right. So let's talk

30:08

about establishing the firm foundation

30:10

of faith by knowing the

30:13

certainty of our faith. You

30:16

know, the New Testament writer Luke,

30:20

he was a physician by

30:22

profession. He authored two significant

30:24

books in the Bible, the

30:26

Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts.

30:29

The Book of Acts is really a continuation

30:31

of the Book of Luke. If you read

30:33

from Luke right over into the Book of

30:35

Acts, and in his

30:38

Gospel, he carefully documented

30:40

the life and teachings of

30:42

Jesus Christ. And then in Acts,

30:45

he chronicles the early history

30:47

of the New Testament

30:49

church and showing how the

30:51

apostles and the believers

30:54

lived out Christ's teachings after

30:56

his ascension in Acts

30:58

chapter one. And through

31:00

those two writings of Luke, Luke

31:03

has given us invaluable insight into

31:05

both the ministry of Jesus and the

31:07

birth of the New Testament church.

31:10

The birth of the church period, really.

31:13

And in Luke chapter one, verses one

31:15

through four, it

31:17

tells us why he wrote these

31:19

books. He said, for

31:21

as much as many have

31:23

taken in hand to

31:25

set forth in order a

31:27

declaration of these things,

31:29

which are most surely believed

31:32

among us, even as

31:34

they delivered them unto us,

31:36

which from the beginning

31:38

were eyewitnesses. So these were

31:40

not, They weren't playing

31:42

telephone back then. These guys

31:44

were eyewitnesses and they

31:46

knew exactly what happened. And

31:49

then ministers of the

31:51

word, it seemed good to

31:53

me. Luke is saying

31:55

also having had perfect understanding

31:57

of all the things

31:59

from the very first to

32:01

write under the in

32:03

order most excellent theophilus that

32:05

thou mightest know the

32:07

certainty of those things wherein

32:09

thou hast been instructed. So

32:12

Luke, I mean, he is

32:14

the most detailed account. And

32:17

Luke had a

32:19

deep passion for helping

32:21

people find confidence

32:24

in their faith. And

32:27

he didn't want anyone

32:29

to second guess what

32:31

they believed. He wanted

32:33

them to be absolutely certain they

32:35

were embracing the truth. Because if

32:37

we're building all this, on a

32:39

non -truth. Man, we're just all

32:41

fooling ourselves, right? But I

32:43

want to have an assurance that if I do

32:45

this for the rest of my life, and

32:47

I'm dedicating my life to Jesus Christ, and I'm

32:49

doing all these things in the Word of

32:52

God, that I have an assurance that I will

32:54

go to be with him when the rapture

32:56

occurs. Isn't that

32:58

what you want? So,

33:01

I'm good, and there's a million ways we can

33:03

prove the validity of the Bible, which gives us

33:05

that assurance, right? But without

33:07

that assurance, It's easy to be

33:10

shaken. And I see these people deal

33:12

with people all the time that, you know, you

33:14

can you can teach them a truth in the

33:16

word of God. And they'll say, well, you know,

33:18

I just don't see it that way. And I'm

33:20

like, the Bible says there's one

33:22

God. What do you mean? There's 10. Or

33:25

I'm like, what in the world? But

33:28

there's people all over the world like that. So

33:31

Luke addressed his gospel to

33:33

theophilus, a well educated man

33:36

with the with the goal

33:38

of presenting the message clearly

33:40

and without distortion at all,

33:42

ensuring it was neither perverted

33:44

and it was not watered

33:46

down. I mean, read Luke's

33:48

account, Luke's Gospel. And

33:51

though we hope it never

33:53

comes to this, I

33:56

wanted to bring up that any

33:58

one of us could be called

34:00

to lay down our life for

34:02

the sake of what we believe.

34:06

It's just being honest. And

34:09

you know, of course, look

34:11

at history. Doesn't history tell

34:13

us that this was a

34:15

common reality for the early

34:17

church? 11 of

34:19

the original 12 apostles were martyred for

34:21

the name of Jesus Christ. And

34:24

scripture speaks plainly of a

34:26

coming time of great tribulation.

34:28

Even now, around the world, you

34:30

see in the news, some

34:33

are faced with this devastating choice.

34:35

Deny the name of Jesus

34:37

or face death. even in

34:39

2025, folks. And

34:41

some have stood firm

34:43

even unto death. And there

34:45

are others, yes, that

34:48

have faltered. But one

34:50

day, we too may find ourselves

34:52

in that very position. And that's

34:54

why it's absolutely essential for us

34:56

to be certain of our faith

34:58

and clear about what we believe.

35:00

Imagine if you're faced with that

35:02

someday and you're kind of wishy

35:04

-washy in your belief system They

35:06

come and say well, hey, you

35:08

know, do you do you believe

35:10

in this Jesus Christ? And are

35:13

you a Christian and you know,

35:15

do you deny the the world

35:17

religious system and all this and

35:19

you're gonna set they're going I

35:21

I I die don't know I

35:23

don't know You don't know at

35:25

that time you better know what

35:27

you believe know why you believe

35:29

it and you better be you

35:31

better have a foundation so deep

35:33

that nothing could ever shake you

35:35

off of that. You

35:37

say, wow, Dave, this is kind

35:40

of heavy today. My

35:42

goal is to prepare

35:44

you mentally, physically,

35:47

and spiritually for the times ahead and

35:49

for the second coming of Jesus

35:51

Christ. And to do that, the

35:54

Bible tells us you better have a

35:56

strong foundation and you better know what you

35:58

believe. Okay? Now

36:00

I love talking about world government and all

36:02

this other and figuring out all the prophecies. I

36:04

mean, I love that. I do it every

36:07

day. But sometimes

36:09

we gotta come right down

36:11

on a people level and

36:13

say, hey, here's what we

36:15

could face and we better

36:17

be prepared. And

36:20

you know, Jesus, when

36:22

you think about it,

36:25

Jesus perfectly demonstrated each of

36:27

these attributes in his

36:29

own life. And,

36:32

you know, the Bible

36:34

says again, that

36:36

to add to your faith

36:38

virtue, virtue, knowledge, knowledge, temperance,

36:40

temperance, patience, patience, godliness, godliness,

36:42

brotherly kindness, and brotherly kindness,

36:44

charity. Jesus Christ

36:46

was a, he

36:48

manifest all of those in great

36:50

detail to the nth degree. He

36:52

lived that, he was that.

36:56

And to illustrate how firmly he

36:58

stood in his beliefs, Consider

37:01

that when Satan

37:03

targets us, he strikes

37:06

our belief system, right? Satan tempted

37:08

Jesus, but he didn't falter. And

37:11

Jesus once said to Peter, Peter,

37:13

Satan has desired to sift you

37:15

like wheat, but I have prayed

37:17

for you that what? That your

37:20

faith fail thee not. Jesus

37:23

Christ knew, you've got to get

37:25

your faith right. Get your belief

37:27

system right. And

37:29

this shows us that

37:31

the enemy's primary tactic

37:33

is to undermine our

37:35

faith. If Satan can

37:38

get you wishy -washy on what

37:40

you believe, he can lead you

37:42

down any pathway. And

37:44

the Bible says that's what will happen to most people

37:46

on the earth in the end time. Satan

37:49

is a master at planting

37:51

seeds of doubt. Well,

37:53

maybe you really weren't born

37:55

again, or maybe You know,

37:57

maybe Jesus Christ really didn't

37:59

die, was buried and rose

38:01

again. Maybe that's just some

38:03

fairy tale. Man,

38:06

I hope you don't believe that. You

38:09

know, is that really true? Why do you

38:11

believe that? Okay, you

38:13

better know what you believe. Holding

38:16

fast to our faith

38:18

is how we resist the

38:20

attacks of the enemy. and

38:25

let me go on down here a little

38:27

bit. When Jesus

38:29

was tempted by Satan, every

38:33

challenge began with

38:35

the word if. It

38:38

was a tactic meant to plant doubt.

38:40

Satan said, if you are the Son

38:42

of God, turn these stones into bread,

38:44

if you are the Son of God,

38:46

throw yourself down, for the scripture says

38:48

that the angels will bury you up.

38:51

Each temptation began with

38:53

an if. What

38:55

was he doing? He was

38:57

questioning Jesus' identity and authority

39:00

in his belief system. Satan

39:02

used the same strategy in the Garden of

39:04

Eden. Satan said to Eve,

39:07

did God really say to you

39:09

that you would surely die, followed

39:11

by, you won't surely

39:13

die? Just one small

39:15

word, but it was a

39:17

direct assault on their trust in God's

39:19

word. So you

39:21

better know what you believe going

39:23

into these end times Because

39:26

he still uses those same tactics

39:28

Six thousand years later from

39:30

Adam and Eve to us today

39:32

and that's why Luke wrote

39:34

to Theophilus So he would have

39:36

a clear and unwavering understanding

39:38

of the truth. We all need

39:40

a firm belief system grounded

39:43

and unshakable you say but I'm

39:45

having a hard problem with

39:47

this part of it Keep studying,

39:49

keep asking God, you'll get

39:51

it. But just because you

39:53

don't understand it, doesn't change the truth.

39:56

The truth is the truth, whether you believe

39:58

it or whether you understand it or not,

40:01

it's the truth. So I think

40:03

there's, you know, 10 gods. Well,

40:05

the Bible says there's one God. So

40:08

if you don't understand it

40:11

now, keep studying, keep praying,

40:13

and ask God to reveal that

40:15

truth to you. because the truth is

40:17

truth. The Bible says that God

40:19

be true, let every man be a

40:21

liar. In other words, if you

40:23

believe have a belief that doesn't align

40:25

up with the word of God,

40:27

then you're gonna need to change that

40:29

your belief. You're not changing the

40:31

word of God to fit what you

40:33

believe. You're gonna change what you

40:35

believe to align with the Bible, because

40:37

the Bible is the roadmap on

40:39

how to get to heaven. Okay?

40:43

Say, Dave, why are you holding here? because

40:45

I deal with people all the time. I

40:47

have people that try to pull me one

40:49

way and pull me another way all the

40:51

time. And I've had to tell them, look,

40:53

that doesn't align with the Word of God.

40:55

I have one guy. I'll just be honest

40:57

with you. I have one guy. He

40:59

said, um,

41:02

no, you guys teach this, but, but, you

41:04

know, uh, it's a, uh, I think

41:06

he was, I think it was pre -post -trib.

41:09

And I said, but no, the Bible says

41:11

this. He said, I look, he We

41:13

went back and forth and I kept saying,

41:15

the Bible says this, the Bible says

41:17

this. He actually told me, he said,

41:19

I don't care what the word of God

41:21

says, God showed me this. And

41:23

I said, whoa, whoa, hold on a second. The

41:26

Bible is God's word. He's not gonna

41:28

tell you anything that contradicts his word.

41:32

Well, that was pretty much the end of the

41:34

discussion at that point. And

41:36

that's a good point though, is

41:38

that God will never tell you any,

41:40

if you have, If you have

41:43

somebody tell you something that does not

41:45

align with the word of God,

41:47

that wasn't God. Okay?

41:50

And why am I holding here? Because I

41:52

want to make sure you get your

41:54

foundation sure. Because there may come a time

41:56

someday when you may have to give

41:58

your life for that. Now, I

42:01

hope it doesn't come to that. Not

42:03

everybody's going to be martyred in the coming

42:05

Great Tribulation. The Bible says those

42:07

that are alive and remain at the time of

42:09

the rapture, right? the dead in Christ will

42:11

be rise first, then we who are alive and

42:13

remain will be caught up to meet them

42:16

in the air. Not everybody's going to be asked

42:18

to give their life for it. But there

42:20

are people who have given their lives for it,

42:22

millions of them over the last couple thousand

42:24

years, and there are people today that are doing

42:26

that as well. And

42:28

so you better know what you

42:30

believe at that point. And

42:32

before that, it's very, very critical.

42:36

So just like Peter spent four

42:38

verses on this, I'm holding

42:40

here and I'm making sure you've

42:42

got your faith right. You

42:44

know what you believe. We're

42:46

going to spend more time on it

42:48

after the break going through some of those

42:50

beliefs and how we can know. I

42:52

can trust this even if I need to

42:54

give my life for it because I

42:56

might have to someday. The

43:00

Roman government controlled the world.

43:02

So many people were looking

43:04

for a different Messiah, a

43:06

rescuing Messiah. Remember

43:11

the story of the woman

43:13

at the well. The woman saith

43:16

unto him, I know that

43:18

Messiah cometh, which is called Christ.

43:20

And Jesus said unto her, I

43:24

that speak unto thee am

43:26

he. Jesus very clearly stated

43:28

that he was God and

43:30

that he was the Messiah.

43:34

We're even more blessed because we

43:36

haven't seen those things, but

43:38

yet we believe when Jesus cried

43:40

out, my God, my God,

43:42

why has thou forsaken me? He

43:44

knew every one of these

43:46

prophecies had to be fulfilled. He

43:50

said it. is finished. Now streaming

44:10

know everyone, I wish I had

44:12

a lot more time here because

44:14

we could go through so many

44:16

of the doctrinal foundational belief systems

44:18

of a that a Christian really

44:21

needs to know. Maybe we'll do

44:23

some programming on that in the

44:25

near future, but I want to

44:27

take a moment here to explore

44:29

just a few of the foundational

44:31

beliefs of the Christian faith that's

44:33

taught in Scripture. And you know,

44:36

it begins all the way back

44:38

at the beginning, right? Understanding that

44:40

God is the creator of all

44:42

things. Now, that's

44:44

not what's taught in school

44:46

today. They teach evolution

44:49

and the big bang

44:51

theory and all that

44:53

But Genesis 1 chapter

44:55

1 the Bible starts

44:57

from the very beginning

44:59

In the beginning God

45:01

created the heaven and

45:03

the earth period end

45:05

of discussion The you

45:07

know these this evolutionary

45:09

theories that attempt to

45:11

undermine this essential truth

45:13

the Bible clearly affirms

45:15

that we were created

45:17

intentionally and with purpose.

45:20

Since God is our Creator,

45:22

we ultimately belong to Him. And

45:25

the purpose He designed

45:27

for our lives is,

45:30

one, we are called to seek, pursue,

45:34

and to fulfill. When

45:36

we walk in that purpose, being

45:39

in a relationship with God, loving

45:41

Him, serving Him, Our

45:44

lives are not wasted, are

45:46

meaningless, but instead, they're

45:48

marked by direction, fulfillment, and

45:50

divine intention. Where

45:52

did I come from? This is

45:54

what they cannot teach in school. You

45:57

cannot tell a kid where

45:59

they come from, why they're here,

46:01

and where they're going from

46:03

a scriptural perspective. Can't do it.

46:07

They can't answer those questions. But

46:09

the Bible can, and the Bible can

46:12

help you with that. These are foundational

46:14

things. We were created as

46:16

sons and daughters of God, made in

46:18

his own image, Genesis 127. So

46:20

God created man in his own image,

46:23

in the image of God created he, him,

46:25

male and female, created he, them. This

46:28

means that we were

46:30

made to reflect his

46:32

nature, bearing his divine

46:34

likeness within us. And

46:36

foundational truth, there's only

46:38

two genders, male and

46:40

female. There's not three, there's

46:42

not a hundred. These

46:45

are foundational truths, but you can

46:47

see what happens to society when they

46:49

say there's more than two genders. They're

46:53

just everything, it's just helter -skelter, right?

46:56

No, there's two genders. These are

46:58

foundational truths, biblical foundational truths that

47:00

we believe. Humanity,

47:04

the problem is humanity didn't

47:06

remain in that original state,

47:08

right? Genesis five, mankind experienced

47:10

an image change through Adam

47:12

and Eve's disobedience. Genesis

47:14

chapter five verse three, Bible

47:17

says in Adam lived

47:19

130 years and begat

47:21

a son in his

47:24

own likeness after his

47:26

image and called his

47:28

name Seth. And

47:31

after that, you don't find

47:33

one son of God listed in

47:35

the Old Testament after Adam

47:37

and Eve except for references to

47:39

angels or prophecies about Jesus. Sonship

47:42

was lost through the disobedience

47:44

of Adam and Eve and

47:46

the image of God was

47:48

lost so that Adam and

47:50

Eve beget sons in their

47:52

own image. Sonship

47:54

was not regained until later

47:57

at Calvary. And

47:59

then, which obviously later

48:01

were told in Scripture, that the

48:03

second Adam came and Romans

48:05

519, for as by one man's

48:08

disobedience many were made sinners, so

48:10

by the obedience of

48:12

one man Jesus Christ

48:14

shall many be made

48:16

righteous. The first

48:19

Adam came and through his disobedience

48:21

lost our sonship and we were

48:23

made sinners. The second

48:25

Adam Jesus Christ came and

48:27

he was obedient to death

48:29

on the cross because of

48:31

his obedience He opened up

48:34

the door for us to

48:36

recapture what had been lost

48:38

for the last 4 ,000 years

48:40

and Hebrews 2 .10 says

48:42

for it became him for

48:44

whom all, whom are

48:46

all things and by whom are

48:49

all things in bringing many

48:51

sons unto glory to make the

48:53

captain of our salvation perfect

48:55

through the sufferings, through sufferings. So

48:57

Jesus Christ came to bring

48:59

us back into the original position

49:01

that God created us to

49:03

enjoy so that we can be

49:06

made, we can be partakers

49:08

of the divine nature and can

49:10

be rightfully called sons of

49:12

God. So

49:15

when people look at us, they

49:17

should see our

49:20

Father, Jesus Christ. That's

49:22

why when you're at post

49:25

a born again experience, you

49:27

start taking on, you should

49:29

become partakers of the divine

49:31

nature. And

49:33

there is a restoration to

49:35

sonship that is now available

49:37

to the human race through

49:39

the salvation that he brought

49:41

to us. We

49:43

believe there was the promise

49:46

of the Redeemer. Now

49:48

these are foundational truths. If

49:50

you don't have this yet, you need

49:52

to get involved in a good Bible study

49:54

and make sure you learn these things.

49:56

And again, I may do some future programming

49:58

on this. Because my father

50:00

-in -law Irvin Baxter taught a great

50:02

lesson called keys to spiritual growth. This

50:04

is going right along that line

50:06

and That's included in our end -time

50:08

University if you're on With only source

50:10

now go through end -time University. It's

50:13

some of the best teaching I've

50:15

ever heard in my entire life I've

50:17

had minister friends of mine say

50:19

man some of the stuff I taught

50:21

it that Irvin Baxter taught in

50:23

there. I've never heard of Well,

50:25

this is one of the this

50:27

is goes right along the lines of

50:30

one of those foundational lessons I'm

50:32

talking to you about how do you

50:34

prepare spiritually for what's coming ahead?

50:36

You got to get your faith, right?

50:38

You got to know what you

50:40

believe foundational biblical truths So Another one

50:42

is that we believe that there

50:44

was a promise of a redeemer one

50:47

who redeems is one who purchases

50:49

back When when you take an item

50:51

to a pawn shop think about

50:53

it like this there is a redemption

50:55

price to get your item back. And

50:58

every human needed

51:00

a redeemer. Isaiah

51:03

9 .6 -7 says, For unto us a

51:05

child is born, unto us a

51:07

son is given, and the government

51:09

shall be upon his shoulder. His

51:11

name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the

51:13

mighty God, the everlasting Father, the

51:15

Prince of Peace. So

51:17

the Son is going to be

51:19

the mighty God. The Son is

51:21

going to be the everlasting Father.

51:25

and of the increase of his government

51:27

and peace, there shall be no

51:29

end, upon the throne of David and

51:31

upon his kingdom to order it. And

51:35

to establish it with judgment

51:37

and the justice from henceforth, even

51:39

forever. The zeal of the

51:41

Lord of Hosts will perform this.

51:43

So a son would be born, one

51:45

who is the mighty God and

51:47

the everlasting Father, sent to

51:49

undo the devastation caused by the

51:51

disobedience of the first Adam, and

51:54

to lead us back

51:56

into obedience. Through his death,

51:58

he broke the power

52:00

of death that entered the

52:02

world through sin and

52:04

these are the foundational truths

52:06

of the Christian faith.

52:08

Core convictions that we are

52:10

called to believe and to

52:12

hold firmly. There

52:15

would also be evidence of his coming

52:17

because there's a lot of people that say

52:19

the Bible's just a myth and a

52:21

fairy tale and Jesus never came and that's

52:23

just all you know, some big wives

52:25

tale. But the

52:27

Bible gives us evidence

52:30

that's easily proven,

52:32

historically, validating the Word

52:34

of God. There

52:37

would be evidence of his coming

52:39

through a forerunner who would precede

52:41

him. Malachi 3 .1, behold, I

52:43

will send my messenger and he

52:45

shall prepare the way before me

52:47

and the Lord whom ye seek

52:49

shall suddenly come to his temple.

52:51

Even the messenger of the covenant

52:53

whom ye delight in, behold, he

52:55

shall come, saith the Lord of

52:57

hosts. The passage is the prophecy

52:59

of John the Baptist. Isaiah

53:01

40 verse 3 also talks about

53:03

him. It says, the voice of him

53:05

that cryeth in the wilderness, prepare

53:08

ye the way of the Lord, make

53:10

straight in the desert a highway for

53:12

our God. They said to John,

53:14

who are you? He said, I am the voice

53:16

of the one crying in the wilderness, preparing

53:18

the way of the Lord. They

53:20

asked him if he was Elijah

53:22

since Malachi and Elijah must said Elijah

53:25

must come before the coming of

53:27

the great and dreadful day of the

53:29

Lord He said I'm not Elijah.

53:31

They asked him. Are you the Messiah?

53:34

He said I'm not him either

53:36

However, when Jesus came he

53:38

contradicted John and they said to

53:40

Jesus if you're the Messiah

53:42

then there's supposed to be a

53:44

forerunner Elijah is supposed to

53:46

come before you and Where

53:49

is Elijah? And Jesus said, I say

53:51

unto you, Elijah hath indeed come already,

53:53

and they have done unto him whatsoever

53:55

they will. And they understood

53:57

that he was referring to

53:59

John who came in the spirit

54:01

and power of Elijah. He

54:04

was the prophesied Elijah in

54:06

Malachi chapters three and four. And

54:08

this will fulfill when John

54:10

the Baptist was born to Zacharias

54:12

and Elizabeth according to the

54:14

word of the angel that appeared

54:16

behind closed doors. At the

54:18

temple, when Zacharias was ministering

54:20

in the holy place, the angel told

54:22

him that they would have a son

54:24

even through Elizabeth, even though Elizabeth was

54:26

old and had never been able to

54:28

have a child, they were

54:30

to call him John. And of

54:33

course, you know the story

54:35

how John was born. Zacharias, you

54:37

know, the angel said, hey, you're going to be dumb. You're

54:40

not going to be able to

54:42

speak until the child is born. When

54:44

he was born, he said, his

54:46

name will be John. And when he

54:48

wrote that, his mouth flew

54:50

open and everyone knew that he

54:52

was going to be a forerunner.

54:54

Those that understood the prophecies, that

54:56

he would be a forerunner of

54:59

the Messiah. And that's exactly what

55:01

happened. There are so

55:03

many more stories and Old

55:05

Testament messianic prophecies that let

55:07

us know that Jesus Christ

55:09

fulfilled every single one of

55:11

them. And now we're watching

55:13

so many of the 1

55:15

,000 prophecies concerning his second

55:17

coming, the millennial reign and

55:19

the great white throne judgment

55:21

and eternity, a vast

55:23

majority of those have already occurred.

55:26

And now we're watching the ones that are

55:28

supposed to occur just prior to leading

55:30

up to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

55:33

Folks, there's a million ways

55:35

to validate the Word

55:37

of God, which gives us

55:40

an assurance and helps

55:42

us build that faith foundation

55:44

that what you read

55:46

in God, that we

55:48

do have a Redeemer, Jesus

55:50

Christ. He did die. He

55:52

was buried. Three days later,

55:54

he did rise out of

55:56

that grave. I've been to where

55:58

they say the tomb is. It's empty. Jesus

56:02

isn't there anymore. And

56:05

through the death bell and resurrection,

56:07

we now have a plan of salvation

56:09

that we can obey and we

56:11

can be born again ourselves and I

56:13

can have an assurance. that

56:15

I can go to be with the Lord when

56:17

that trumpet sounds in the very near future, the

56:20

rapture occurs, I'm gonna spend

56:22

eternity with him. This

56:24

is, it's the essence of our Christian belief

56:26

system. Now again, there's a lot of people

56:28

out there that are trying to pull people

56:30

and say, oh no, that's not the case,

56:33

and this, and there's this doctrine, and all

56:35

the kind of winds blowing, but

56:37

you better know what you

56:39

believe, and you better have that

56:41

very solid, especially going through

56:43

the times that we have just

56:45

ahead of us. It's very

56:47

very important. So I wanted to

56:50

talk to you about that

56:52

today because We're gonna face some

56:54

things and I want to

56:56

make sure we're prepared mentally physically

56:58

and most importantly spiritually for

57:00

the times just ahead So we're

57:02

talking about our spiritual preparation

57:04

in these end times very very

57:06

important now I'm obviously scratching

57:09

the surface. I could go through

57:11

it tons of prophecies and

57:13

experience and the Dead Sea Scrolls

57:15

and validate the Word of

57:17

God. But I think you know

57:19

the Bible is the truth.

57:21

You can bank your eternal salvation

57:23

on the words in that

57:25

book. And it gives

57:28

you an assurance. And

57:30

so I'm so thankful for that,

57:32

thankful to God that I don't

57:34

have to worry when I lay

57:36

my head on my pillow at

57:38

night. Man, I wonder if I

57:40

believe the right thing. I know

57:42

I am. It's easily proven. The

57:44

Bible is easily validated, and you

57:46

can have that assurance too. Post

57:48

your born -again experience, make sure

57:51

you are working towards becoming a

57:53

mature Christian based off the doctrines

57:55

of the Bible. Get

57:57

your faith right. Music
