Great to have you along for the ride. Thanks a lot for

0:02

stopping by. Glenn Haysman back. He's the founder of the Guardian Angels.

0:04

It of course is Curtis Leewer. Curtis, how are you? Good to

0:06

see you again. I've

0:08

had better days, Joe. I've had better days. You

0:10

know, it's an interesting thing that's going on in

0:12

New York right now from Eric Adams being indicted.

0:14

You've got all these other people resigning. You've got

0:17

rank choice voting is somehow the way that you guys do

0:20

it, which I hate. We'll get into that full throat

0:22

in a second. You and I just talked about this a

0:24

minute ago, though. We see Hurricane Helene in the aftermath

0:26

there. We see now Milton is bearing

0:28

down on the East Coast of the United

0:30

States. Again, the Southeast coast. You

0:32

got Guardian Angels there, don't you? Yes,

0:35

I do. And they've been there a long time in

0:37

Tampa Bay and over in

0:39

St. Petersburg across the causelet. And

0:42

they have voted to hunker down.

0:44

They're not leaving. A

0:46

lot of the neighborhoods that we patrol are the

0:49

poorer neighborhoods in which people are

0:51

not leaving their homes, Joe, because they

0:53

feel looting. They don't have much,

0:55

but they feel looting. So they're staying. So

0:57

the Guardian Angels, we're going to stay with

1:00

them. Once the hurricane passes,

1:02

we're going to continue to patrol those streets

1:05

because the looters will somehow survive.

1:07

They always do. Yeah. They will come

1:09

out and they will try to take

1:11

advantage of the disadvantage and we won't

1:13

let them. Well, we love what your

1:15

organization does. And I love that that's going on. Also,

1:17

the advantage of being in Florida, you can actually use

1:20

your second amendment. And some of the Florida sheriffs say

1:22

somebody tries to loot your stuff, take care of that.

1:24

But I love that you guys are there. Are you

1:26

generally there anyway, because it's a big city like Tampa

1:29

or did you send people? Yeah,

1:31

North Tampa we patrol, which

1:33

is a rough area to begin with. One

1:36

of the things we've been doing in the

1:38

aftermath of Helena is giving

1:41

out water. Water is the

1:43

most desperately needed item

1:46

that people don't have enough of. They can

1:48

get food, they can get clothes, but there's

1:51

just not enough water. But tonight

1:53

they hunkered down. They know it's going to

1:55

be a rough ride overnight. And

1:57

then we have to emerge and we have to stop

1:59

the looters. looting because it just won't be enough sheriff's

2:03

department personnel and local police available

2:05

to do all the emergency

2:07

things they have to with down power

2:09

lines flooding and that directing

2:12

traffic we'll go after

2:14

the looters. It is, I'm

2:16

currently with the founder of the Guardian Angels also an

2:18

amazing talk show host that I learn from every time I

2:20

listen. Can they go to guardianangels.org and donate and make sure

2:22

they keep you guys afloat with all the good work

2:24

that you do? Oh

2:26

absolutely www.guardianangels.org if they

2:28

want to help the people in

2:30

Tampa we've been buying pallets of

2:32

water to distribute that that that

2:35

would be a great way of

2:37

assisting us in that process down

2:39

there. Talk to me about New York

2:41

the last time you and I spoke about the city that

2:43

I love and I've actually been there between the last time

2:45

we spoke and now I went to places

2:47

where I felt very safe it was broad daylight I

2:49

wasn't gonna go to the areas that I know are

2:51

rough although all areas you can get punched in the

2:53

face now it turns out if you're walking down the

2:55

street. Talk to me about the city

2:57

I know that Eric Adams the the police guy was

2:59

gonna gonna help clean up this guy's been a mess

3:01

from day one is it still rough there is it

3:03

getting any better? Joe

3:06

it's not only rough no person is

3:08

safe I don't know if you heard

3:10

the news down there but my oldest

3:12

son Anthony Sliwa whose

3:14

stepfather is the former governor now

3:17

David Patterson were both

3:19

assaulted in the Upper East Side

3:21

they almost killed my son and

3:23

they seriously injured David Patterson they

3:26

were able to survive

3:28

the process but it

3:30

just shows you it doesn't it

3:32

doesn't matter who you are where

3:34

you are these random attacks whether

3:36

by emotionally disturbed homeless gang thugs

3:39

are endless and there is

3:41

no price to pay Joe everyone

3:44

knows if you get caught there are

3:46

no consequences remember the island of Manhattan

3:48

which is where most of the action

3:50

in New York City is the

3:52

DA is Alvin Bragg the only one

3:55

he ever prosecutes is Trump everybody else

3:57

he cuts loose or if you defend

3:59

yourself Like remember the bodega

4:01

owner Jose Alba who had to

4:03

kill the person who was trying to rob

4:05

from him and hurt him and of course Daniel

4:08

penny who was soon going on trial

4:10

the Marine was being charged with

4:12

manslaughter For protecting

4:14

all the passengers on a train

4:17

from an emotionally disturbed person named

4:19

Jordan nearly who unfortunately died When

4:22

he had to put him in a headlock Well,

4:24

I pray that your son and that Patterson are gonna

4:26

be okay. I hate knowing that

4:28

I love that you've been fighting for that city

4:30

since 1978 79 that I know

4:32

of and I'm sure way before then Before

4:35

you founded the Angels but in talking about

4:37

the penny case that doesn't make any sense

4:39

if it's the opposite if he's a black

4:41

Guy saving people and it's a white guy

4:43

who is giving everybody, you know, a really

4:45

hard time harassing and criminally harassing people on

4:48

the train We probably don't hear about this

4:50

because this guy brag is like Letitia James

4:52

is like funny Willis It's like these

4:54

these other DAs or AG's that no

4:56

cash bail You're not gonna get a

4:59

punishment if you're in some DEI realm

5:01

This is really about them trying to

5:03

to change the judicial system to make

5:05

it more favorable for some depending on

5:07

their intersectionality, right? Absolutely,

5:11

but it's also they're pro criminal

5:14

right on down the line They don't

5:16

believe that anybody should be remanded

5:18

to jail as you mentioned

5:20

They are proponents of no cash bail

5:23

even though we suffered through this It

5:25

was Andrew evil eyes Cuomo when he

5:27

was governor before he escaped because he

5:29

would have been impeached in

5:31

the state's capital All right, they

5:33

introduced it. They passed it They

5:35

had a chance to amend it

5:37

to just redo it and take

5:39

it back. No No

5:41

They believe that this is this is righteous

5:44

a righteous way of dealing with things and

5:46

we are now immersed in a crime problem

5:49

That is affecting all communities Joe.

5:51

There is nowhere in New York

5:53

City that anybody is safe

5:55

any longer No matter if you

5:57

are a celebrity and people know you Stallone's

6:00

daughter just reported how an

6:02

emotionally disturbed guy came up

6:04

to her and almost

6:06

killed her Wow, so you could

6:09

have bodyguards. It doesn't matter this city

6:11

is out of control It's a city

6:13

in chaos with no mayor at the

6:15

helm who is running an organized

6:17

crime family and picking our pockets at

6:19

City Hall It's courtesy. Well, I was

6:22

praying and hoping that you would become the mayor. I hope

6:24

that that could still happen Let's talk

6:26

about the process. This guy doesn't survive this where

6:28

they gets kicked out or resigns or leaves or

6:30

whatever he does He's not going to survive this.

6:33

I know that Hochul cannot just put somebody

6:35

in thank God So it's going

6:37

to be a process where the people get to

6:39

choose she gets to pick the date of the

6:41

special election But then Curtis you got rank choice

6:43

voting, which is the stupidest thing ever created They

6:45

have this in Alaska and that's why Lisa Murkowski

6:47

is still in the Senate It should have been

6:49

Kelly Chewbacca But rank choice voting will actually

6:51

take out your your first choice You've got to give

6:53

three choices or some crap. It doesn't make any sense.

6:55

So I know that you're in the mix I

6:58

want you to be the guy I know they're also talking

7:00

about angel Cuomo that you just talked about they're talking about

7:02

other people that could be the mayor of New York How

7:04

is this going to go down? How do you see this

7:06

unfolding? Well, if Eric

7:08

Adams cannot survive because he's gonna

7:10

get indicted again. Yes, like I

7:13

said, he's Operated an

7:15

Adams crime family here that

7:18

has looted the city all

7:20

different ways and his cronies

7:22

Have been indicted. They've had their phones

7:24

taken away They've had their files

7:27

taken away and as you know, Joe the feds

7:29

are gonna put pressure on them They

7:31

they're going after their target Eric Adams, so

7:33

they'll become Confidential informers

7:35

so they'll become witness they'll

7:37

become cooperative witnesses and he'll

7:40

he'll eventually get found guilty

7:42

in court But he can hang on until

7:44

then if for some reason he resigns

7:46

because they make him a deal Resign

7:48

now and we'll give you a universal

7:51

plea and we won't necessarily charge your

7:53

cronies with serious crimes He may do

7:55

that or the governor has the

7:57

right to remove him, which he won't do because

8:00

his complexion is his protection. She will

8:02

not remove a black man or a

8:04

black woman who is the mayor of

8:06

the city. So if that

8:08

happens though, it's a nonpartisan election

8:10

like we saw years ago when

8:13

Gray Davis was the object of

8:15

recall in California as the governor.

8:17

And that's how Schwarzenegger became

8:19

the governor because you're gonna have

8:22

like 50 candidates. There's no party

8:24

affixed to you. It's

8:26

just whoever's popular. So if your

8:28

name is popular, you have a chance

8:30

to win. Obviously, my name is popular

8:32

in New York City. Cuomo's name

8:35

is popular. And just today in the New

8:37

York Times, you know who may be jumping

8:39

in if there's a special election? Tish

8:41

James. Stop it. Stop

8:44

it. Well, hold on, well, Carter, wait

8:46

a second. It's Carter Slewell, by the way. Go to guardianangels.org.

8:48

Listen to his show online. If you're not in New York City,

8:51

he's an amazing talk show host. Tish

8:53

James has been very quiet since this whole

8:55

Eric Adams thing came down. I know that

8:57

she was hanging out at that, what is

8:59

that, Sofrito place, the Consofrito? She is known

9:01

to have gone there. He goes there. Their

9:03

cronies go there. She thinks she can be

9:05

the mayor of New York? Stop. She's,

9:08

no, she's part of a

9:10

Stop Cuomo movement in the

9:12

Democratic Party. Remember, the governor,

9:15

Hochul, hates Cuomo. Tish James

9:17

prosecuted Cuomo. They wanna

9:19

do anything to stop Cuomo. So I

9:21

stand back, and they're gonna be like

9:24

two scorpions in a brandy glass, stinging

9:27

one another, killing one another. And

9:29

I'm there, ready to pick up the

9:31

pieces. Because even if there is a

9:33

special election, there will still be a

9:35

general election. And I'll be in both

9:38

of them. The nonpartisan election,

9:40

if it happens, but I will be

9:42

the Republican candidate in

9:44

the general election, although I know I will have Republicans

9:46

who will challenge me, and I welcome them, Joe. Come

9:49

on, bring it on, into the ring of fire. Let's

9:51

do it. It is I, Curtis Lee was. So you

9:53

said it could be as many as 50 people. How

9:55

does that work? Do you have to have a certain

9:57

qualification to be part of the 50? Well,

10:01

you have to get 3,250 signatures in about a week. Not

10:06

too difficult to do. Anybody can sign as

10:08

long as you're a registered voter. And

10:11

again, if you have name recognition, it's a

10:13

short sprint. It's a two month campaign. The

10:16

advantage is to people like if she

10:18

does jump in, a Tish James, a

10:20

Andrew Evilized Cuomo, or Curtis Sleeuwe. The others, nobody

10:23

knows that. You couldn't pick them out of a

10:25

lineup, but they're going to enter anyway because they

10:27

figured they got everything to gain and nothing to

10:29

lose. Yeah, that's a good point. It's Curtis Sleeuwe.

10:31

I hope that you become the next New York

10:34

mayor. Why wouldn't Hochul get rid

10:36

of Eric Adams? I get it. His

10:38

complexion is his protection. That's very, very wise. You're

10:40

smart. But that's if he's clean. If

10:42

she gets rid of him now, doesn't she look like somebody

10:44

who saved New York City? Ah,

10:47

but she doesn't want her nemesis

10:49

possibly to become mayor Andrew Evilized

10:51

Cuomo. So it really is that

10:53

much infighting. Oh yeah.

10:56

Cuomo is a man of revenge. He

10:58

believes Old Testament eye for an eye,

11:00

tooth for a tooth. He has

11:02

said he wants to come after Tish

11:04

James, who he created. He really made

11:07

Tish James the attorney general. He made

11:09

Kathy Hochul the lieutenant governor. Nobody knew

11:11

who Kathy Hochul was. And

11:13

then when he had to run in

11:16

fright because they were going to

11:18

impeach him and indict him and he resigned

11:20

as governor, Hochul took over.

11:23

He threatened her. He said, one day I'll

11:25

be coming for you politically. And

11:27

Tish James who prosecuted him, he said, I'm

11:29

going to come for you Tish. And if

11:31

there's one thing you know about Cuomo, it's

11:33

that he believes in revenge like Michael

11:36

Corleone. He's looking to settle all scores.

11:39

It is Curtis Lee. Curtis, I know that you sent me that video

11:41

that you've got posted on your ex. I'm not going to show it.

11:44

It's violent. People want to go and

11:46

see that. I want them to go and make the

11:48

choice to go see it. But it's where your son

11:50

is being kicked. Do we know what even led to

11:52

this incident? By the way, follow him at Curtis Lee.

11:54

What is SLIWA over on X. You'll see the video

11:56

that he posted at Patterson and his son. What

11:59

was this? just some random garbage

12:01

attacking people. You

12:04

know, I have, my oldest son, Anthony

12:06

Chester, is now his

12:08

stepfather, is the former governor, David

12:11

Patterson, who married my former wife,

12:13

Mary, and they get along

12:15

splendidly. Every night, Anthony's responsibility,

12:17

again, this is the Upper East Side,

12:19

one of the best neighborhoods he used

12:21

to be, and he walks the

12:23

dog. So he sees three

12:25

black youths who have scaled a fire

12:27

escape. They're on the second floor, they're

12:30

casing, obviously casing, looking inside to see

12:32

if anybody's in. They'll break in. He's

12:35

a guardian angel too, my son. He's gone through

12:37

the training. So remember, see something, say something. So

12:39

he yells up to them, he says, hey you,

12:41

you better get down from there, or I'm gonna

12:44

call the cops. Now, in

12:46

the streets, when you threaten

12:48

to snitch on somebody, the five-O, the

12:50

police, remember the phrase, snitches

12:52

get stitches and end up in ditches.

12:55

So nothing happens here. They walk away, but

12:58

they're grumbling and mumbling, dropping the F-bomb. Anthony

13:01

goes back upstairs. The

13:03

governor comes out of his study 45 minutes later

13:06

and says, hey Anthony, let's go to

13:08

McDonald's. I'm a little hungry, because David

13:10

Patterson can't see. So my

13:12

son is guiding him along. Who

13:15

do you think is standing outside

13:17

the McDonald's? The three teenagers that

13:19

Anthony told to get down out

13:21

of the fire escape. So they

13:23

start screaming, snitch, snitch, snitch. And

13:25

everybody surrounds them. Adults

13:28

too. There's six adults, three teenagers.

13:30

And you know some of the

13:32

adults knew that was Governor David

13:34

Patterson. Plus, if you didn't, he's

13:36

a blind guy. So

13:38

a woman, an adult woman who's 34, who

13:41

works for the city, and an

13:43

adult man who's 40, who works

13:45

for the city, they punch David

13:47

Patterson, they punch my son, and

13:49

a fight ensues. So my

13:52

son Anthony and David Patterson, they didn't

13:54

run. They're brawling with these nine. They get

13:56

my son down, and as you could see

13:58

in that video, putting boots

14:00

to the back of their head. They're kicking

14:02

them. And when he tried to get up,

14:04

they kicked his head as if it was

14:07

a football. He could have been killed there.

14:09

And David Patterson, to his credit, he's scrapping.

14:11

In fact, he picked one of these guys

14:13

up and he threw them right towards the

14:15

play class window of McDonald's. Then they hear

14:17

the cops coming. I probably

14:19

had no idea that it was Governor

14:22

David Patterson. And naturally, the whole

14:24

city became aware of it and they

14:26

all turned themselves in. But the two

14:28

adults that started it, who should have

14:31

been controlling the teenagers, they went into

14:33

court yesterday, Joe, and they claimed that

14:35

my son and David Patterson picked on

14:38

them. Oh, come on. That their victims,

14:40

they were trying to be the peacemakers

14:42

and then Anthony and David Patterson threw

14:44

punches first. And you know, in this

14:47

city, in the borough that's run

14:49

by Alvin Bragg, he might

14:51

actually buy what they say and dismiss

14:54

the charges. It's a courtesy

14:56

with a, it's a brutal piece of video. Go check

14:58

it out. Somebody, somebody was rolling video instead of helping

15:00

and stopping it. Um, and Curtis posted

15:02

it over on his ex, Curtis Lee will over at,

15:04

at, at, at Curtis. Are they other people in New

15:07

York done? And by that I mean, we had an

15:09

inflection point in the early nineties where you got Giuliani

15:11

and Pataki in because New York city going to hold

15:13

their nose and vote red. If it

15:15

means that their safety and security is back, maybe they

15:17

can prosper again. People stop running from the city because

15:19

they're scared. Are they done? Joe,

15:22

you would think, but most of the

15:24

people who continue in the Exodus who

15:26

flee because of fright are

15:29

moderate Democrats and Republicans, a few that

15:31

remain, believe it or not. It's so

15:33

bad here in New York city that

15:36

after hurricane Milton does its

15:38

damage, there are New Yorkers

15:40

who would continue to flee to Florida,

15:42

which is their primary choice, uh,

15:44

to Exodus. And then they're going to Georgia

15:46

and North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and

15:49

parts are known. They are

15:51

fleeing the city and New York

15:53

state in record numbers because

15:55

of the crime, no quality

15:58

of life, taxes. and the fact

16:00

that the Democrats are trying to control their

16:02

lives from the cradle to the grave and

16:04

they've had it. They've had it. Yeah. Last

16:06

question for Curtis Lewa and again go support

16:08

the Guardian Angels, guardianangels.org follow him over on X

16:10

and take in his talk show whenever you

16:12

can. Last question has to be this, should

16:14

you become the mayor and I hope to

16:16

God you do, what do you do about

16:18

crime day one? Is there something you can do

16:20

the first day or not? Oh

16:23

yeah and it has to be visible to all.

16:26

Stop shoplifting and the

16:28

theft of packages. There are 90,000

16:32

packages delivered by

16:34

Federal Express, DHS,

16:36

United States Parcel Service, UPS.

16:39

Every day 90,000 packages

16:42

stolen. Everyone is affected by that,

16:44

businesses and residents and the shoplifting

16:46

which everybody sees because when they

16:48

go into a retail store you

16:50

got to get 20, you got

16:52

to wait 20 minutes to get

16:54

a clerk to open up a

16:56

safe in which you have your

16:58

toothpaste. Simple items are now behind

17:00

lock and key. Curtis

17:03

again I hope to God that you do it because

17:05

we love New York and I know that you love

17:07

New York as you say your blood runs New York

17:09

blue and although you're a guy on the

17:11

right who in your red. I hope that

17:13

it happens because the city deserves better and I

17:15

don't even know if they think they deserve better

17:17

now but they do and you are better my

17:19

friend. Thank you so much for coming on today

17:21

and best to your son and to Governor Patterson.

17:25

No we appreciate you well wishes and your

17:28

audience when they see this video they'll

17:30

understand how bad it is how it's

17:32

like Kurt Russell escaped from New York

17:35

the third movie should be made now

17:37

because everybody's trying to get out of

17:39

here if they can. Unbelievable Curtis thanks

17:41

a million brother let's talk again soon

17:44

okay. Thank you Joe.

17:46

All right my man we're back after this stay right here.

17:51

This is the Joe Bag Show

18:00
