1:31

1:41

1:43
You probably got to turn the mouth
1:45
turn out to turn the water of the
1:47
moat up. Look,
1:55
come.
1:58
Come on, you'll think, uh
2:01
huh, I sure will. Good
2:03
morning everybody. You are listening
2:05
to the voice, Come on, dig me now.
2:08
One and only.
2:09
Steve Harvey got a radio
2:11
show. Uh huh, Steve Harvey
2:13
got a radio show.
2:15
Yeah. Man, oh boy, boy, boy
2:18
man. God has been good to me. I
2:20
can't even.
2:23
I can't even put it into words, man, But
2:26
I try, though, I try, I try, I try.
2:29
God does things for me just right
2:31
on time. He's so cool with it.
2:34
And I
2:36
happened to run across Joel Oldstein on
2:38
television like I often do all
2:41
the time, and I.
2:43
Was sitting there and he
2:46
had such a timely message for me.
2:49
A part of it was something that I've said oftentimes
2:52
about if you
2:55
really really want to be successful,
2:58
if you really really want to, if
3:00
you really really want to prosper, if
3:03
you really really want to achieve greatness.
3:05
If you really really want to have something.
3:07
In life that's worth having, if you really
3:10
really want to accomplish your goals, you
3:12
got to push through all
3:15
of it.
3:16
He said that when you get closer to
3:19
it, the more difficult
3:21
it becomes. Did
3:24
you hear me.
3:25
He said, the closer you get to what
3:28
it is you want or you need, or you have
3:30
to have or you
3:32
would love to be, it
3:34
gets a little bit more difficult
3:37
when you get closer.
3:39
He told this story that's
3:42
in the Bible that I'd never heard
3:44
before.
3:46
This is what he said. He said, there was a man
3:49
who was paralyzed,
3:53
and he had heard that Jesus
3:56
was speaking at
3:58
a house, and so he
4:00
wanted to get there. So he convinced four
4:03
of his friends to
4:05
put him on a stretcher and
4:08
carry him for hours
4:11
to get to this house where.
4:14
Jesus was speaking. He
4:16
said.
4:18
That along the way, these
4:20
friends said that they
4:24
went along because he had so much faith
4:26
that if he could just get to him, it
4:29
could be better that he could if
4:32
he could just get over there and he could see him,
4:34
that he might have a shot at getting here. And
4:37
so he said, they took out along the way
4:39
and they walked and they walked and they walked for hours.
4:43
And then when they got there, the
4:46
house was completely filled
4:48
with people. That was absolutely
4:50
it was packed wall to wall. There was
4:52
absolutely no way for the men
4:55
to get him on that stretcher
4:57
end to see Jesus. This is
4:59
a story that uh Joe
5:01
Losting said is in the Bible, and he was telling
5:04
it now. I'm just repeating the parts
5:06
of it. I got gathered and
5:08
so he said. They sat there and
5:10
they went, wow, man, we walked all this weight
5:13
and it's full, and and
5:15
and and and and and we can't get there,
5:18
he said.
5:19
And then the guy with
5:21
the affliction.
5:22
Told the four men, if
5:25
you get up on the roof and
5:27
cut a hole in it and
5:30
lower me down, I
5:32
bet I could see him then, and I bet it
5:34
to be all right now. He
5:38
then said, you must imagined
5:40
how these four men must have felt when
5:43
you carry somebody for hours
5:46
on on on on on on on the way.
5:48
They had to carry some cloth connected
5:50
by a couple of sticks, said the me and
5:52
shoulders had to be bruised, had
5:55
to have deep gouges,
5:57
and them not cuts, but just indentations
5:59
where they had carried the weight of this grown
6:01
man for so many hours, and they looked
6:03
at him in disbelief, like, man, what are
6:05
you talking about. We done walked all this far.
6:08
He said, yeah, but if you get up on that roof
6:10
and you cut a hole in it and
6:12
lower me down, I
6:15
can see him and when he see me,
6:17
it'll be all right. After
6:20
sitting there and imploring the men, they
6:23
went up and did just that, And
6:26
then the story that Joel os Dean said,
6:29
the man was healed. But the
6:31
point he was making was he was
6:34
saying that the closer
6:36
you get to what it is you really want,
6:39
the more difficult it's going to become.
6:42
But you've got to push through. See,
6:44
if you don't push through, you never know, so
6:46
you can't get right to the answer.
6:48
And because it gets really difficult, started
6:51
creating those little saying that we got
6:53
as people.
6:55
Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be.
6:57
I guess it wasn't the Lord's
7:00
Now, man, I guess you should not give
7:03
up right now.
7:04
I guess you should keep pressing.
7:06
I guess you should do more because see,
7:08
in all of us, in all of us,
7:10
when you've had enough.
7:12
I want you to know something. You do have
7:14
a little bit more in all
7:16
of us. You can do one
7:19
more. You know.
7:20
That's one of my favorite things that I heard Joel
7:22
Oldstein said, and it kind of made me feel good.
7:24
He said, I
7:27
always.
7:27
Feel like I can do one more anything,
7:30
and I tell my friends all the time, I
7:33
can do one more man, I could do one
7:35
more day. I can do one
7:37
more anything. Now Here
7:40
was the jewel that I never
7:43
really knew that Joel Oldstein
7:47
and God sent to me I needed
7:49
to hear. He said
7:52
that no matter what you're going through,
7:55
no matter how long the challenge is you've
7:57
been facing, God
7:59
has an in date for it all.
8:02
Did you hear me?
8:04
No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
8:06
you're facing, no matter what situation you've
8:08
gotten yourself into, God
8:11
has an ending date. All
8:14
you got to do is keep pressing
8:16
forward. All you got to do is
8:19
hang in there. All you got to do
8:21
is don't give up. All you have
8:23
to do is don't turn back. There
8:26
is an end date for all
8:28
of it, even when
8:31
you think you've had enough. And
8:34
boy, have I had this conversation
8:37
with God on several things
8:40
that I've been going through, and I've
8:42
even told him, look, I got it, man.
8:46
He said, just keep hanging on. There
8:49
is an in date to whatever
8:51
it is you're going through. There's an end date
8:53
to your illness, your sickness, your
8:57
tired of being tired. There's an
8:59
end date to this relationship
9:02
that you can't seem to
9:05
get through. Beyond
9:08
over that's like
9:11
a cancer to you. There's an end
9:13
date. But you've got to
9:16
hang in there. You've got to keep
9:18
pushing forward. You cannot
9:20
turn around. You must not go
9:22
back, because when God gets
9:25
you through this and
9:27
you break through to the other side, the
9:30
reward and the benefit is
9:32
far greater than
9:35
the struggle.
9:36
I oftentimes look.
9:38
At some of the things that God has brought me through
9:41
in my worst times, and
9:43
when He brought me through, I went, Wow, Man, now
9:46
that I understand that, Now that I'm on the other
9:49
side and I have the benefit of the reward
9:51
for it, would you do it all again
9:54
to get that?
9:54
Yes? I would.
9:56
You're listening.
9:58

10:26
very small minute group of people.

18:26

18:26
You're gonna touch the ground. Come on, man, don't go with there
18:28
with that.
18:29
Man, say, don't do that.
18:30
Okay, look at them, man, I'm telling you right now,
18:32

18:41
Oh are you?
18:42
Man?
18:44
Why you live?
18:44
Doc?
18:46
Don't you present yourself to me? Man wants to do
18:48
that?
18:48
You know what? Man, you can meet me up there at the least
18:50

18:51
I'm at the leader.
18:52

19:03
I want to see that.
19:04
I want to see that happen because Susie Susians
19:07
touched my pit. I don't help me hit the
19:09
flow. You're gonna hit the flock. Put it in the meat, will
19:11
I'm trying to have a good chald you know, black and you're trying to get
19:13
together.
19:13
Man.
19:14
Everybody come and drinking beer, nobody saying
19:16
nothing but a all of a sudden, Ken, your monkey's
19:18
gonna come out this Okay, I'll tell you
19:20
what. Bring you up work to the leasing office and
19:22
I popish you. I'm sinning.
19:24
I'm in the head. I'm in the head. You need
19:26
you need to bring in somebody with you. That's what you need
19:28
to do.
19:28
Okay, I'm I think.
19:29
I'm gonna bring with me.
19:30
I got to them and bring with me.
19:31
It's gonna be me, myself and I and
19:34
I bet you this here.
19:35
You won't putting no meat on that grill, comes sonny,
19:37
Okay, I won't putting all that on that crib.
19:39
Now you rip me off. You gonna need
19:41
at the leasing office. He's on.
19:43
I'm a beat.
19:44
Up.
19:44
Okay, okay, but dude, you know who you you do you
19:47
know who you're playing with? No?
19:48
I don't, and I I promise you when I find
19:50

19:50
You don't know who you playing with?
19:52
Let me let me tell you who I am. Ye tell them
19:54
who you are.
19:55
Call you.
19:55
I am nephew Tomman from the Steve
19:58
Harby Morning Show. You just got by
20:00

20:02
Oh oh
20:05

20:08
Many hee
20:10

20:13
Man, I'm missing
20:17

20:17
I'm sorry man, you were you were
20:20
fined up though you alright.
20:21
I'm shocked, he says, hot
20:23
out here. Anyone we don't kiss, We don't.
20:25
We can take it, man, y'all
20:30
Sunday man, that's what we do.
20:31
Everybody pitch in and we all get together.
20:33
Man, it's a it's a family thing.
20:35
Oh sorry, man, you
20:38
good man.
20:38
You couldn't let me ask you?
20:40
What's the baddest radio show in the land?
20:42
Man, the Steve Harry Morning Show?
20:43
Brother?
20:48
All right, thank you that you coming up next?
20:50
It is asked the clo with our Chief Love
20:52
Officer Steve Harvey and the building
20:55
right after this, you're listening
20:58
Steve Harvey Morning Show. All
21:00
right, guys, time for us the clo.
21:03
This one is from Anonymous in
21:05
Indiana. Anonymous rites, I'm
21:07
engaged to a beautiful woman that
21:09
I have known for most of my life. This
21:12
will be a second marriage for the both of us,
21:14
and we reconnected after we both got
21:16
divorced. I'm fifty seven, she's fifty
21:18
six, and she's old fashioned. She
21:21
wants to wait until we are married to have
21:23
sex, and I don't want to make that mistake.
21:26
I haven't even seen her in her underwear.
21:29
I would hate to marry a woman that isn't
21:31
on my level sexually. Should I press
21:33
the issue?
21:35
Oh?
21:35
Man, full court press? Yeah,
21:38
we got to see.
21:39
But then one thing about it, man, women
21:41
control the situation. If
21:44
they don't let you, you can't do nothing.
21:46
So you know, that's
21:49
it.
21:49
I mean, you can press the issue, but if that's
21:51
her wish, bro, it's nothing
21:53
you can do about it. And let me tell
21:55
you something. Pressing the issue
21:58
and forcing the issues two different true
22:01
we're talking about. You can have a conversation
22:04
about it if you choose to. You
22:06
know, you can try to use conversation, but
22:09
that's all you can do. That's
22:12
all you can do, matter of fact,
22:15
no honor her wishes. Just
22:19
go somewhere and honor her damn wishes. And
22:21
you don't want it, just go somewhere else. Plenty
22:23
women out here ain't got that rule. They don't even do the
22:25
ninety day rules. Sometimes find you
22:27
somebody else. Leave that good little lady alone.
22:30
They're engaged.
22:32
They're engaged. Somebody
22:34
asked somebody to marry, you
22:36
know, a beautiful woman. Can
22:39
I get a something? Can I at least get
22:41
a Can I see him? Can
22:44
he ask somebody she been with? Can he
22:46
ask me.
22:50
Like her husband?
22:53
We need a referral, and we need something super,
23:00
not a reference. We're moving
23:02
on.
23:03
LaToya and Baltimore says.
23:04
I'm twenty seven and my boyfriend is twenty
23:06
five, and he's so inconsiderate.
23:09
He drives me crazy. It drives
23:11
me crazy.
23:11
We just got a place together, and his mother
23:14
came over to see her rental house, and she brought
23:16
my boyfriend's ex girlfriend with her.
23:19
He welcomed them in, and I went to my
23:21
bedroom after I barely spoke to them.
23:23
Even though his ex is married now, I
23:26
don't think it's appropriate for him to allow her
23:28
into our home.
23:29
He called me immature and rude. Was
23:32
I being rude?
23:33
Hell?
23:34
No?
23:34
And I think his mama out of line. Yeah,
23:37
you'll brain.
23:37
This dude's ex over the house with his carred
23:40
woman living that rind his mama.
23:42
Rude, he's stupid? Yeah,
23:45
all dog? Immature? What
23:47
the hell? Immature mama?
23:50
Man's wrong with your mama? That
23:53
was disrespectful.
23:54
She can't say anything now.
23:56
That's disrespectful on so many levels.
23:58
How would your mama like right
24:02
if somebody bought her husband was ex
24:04
over to her house.
24:06
Yeah, it doesn't matter if she's married now.
24:08
So what.
24:10
I don't give a damn what she is. Yeah,
24:13
that's wrong.
24:15
On every level, all
24:18
right, Joanne and Tennessee says,
24:21
I think my husband is interested in a lady
24:23
at our church. I had choir
24:25
practice Saturday and he's on the cleanup
24:27
committee, so we rode together. When
24:29
I got out of practice,
24:32
he was nowhere to be found. I went
24:34
back into the church to look for him, and I called
24:36
his cell phone. He answered it and said
24:38
he was outside. He didn't know I could see
24:41
him getting out of a car with a woman that is fairly
24:43
new at church. I told him what I saw
24:45
with my own eyes. And he denied
24:48
it.
24:48
Should I have a talk with this woman?
24:54
I don't know what you're talking the woman for.
24:57
She saw you, dude.
24:58
And the secondly he
25:01
said he didn't get
25:03
out the car.
25:06
That right there is the boy boy,
25:09
and you got to stick with
25:12
that. As you know, it
25:14
wasn't me. He
25:18
lying on church down, he
25:21
on the clean up committee. He getting out
25:23
the car with a woman that's knew at
25:25
the church. I
25:29
don't know what y'all
25:31
talking about me. But
25:34
should you talk to the woman? Hell no,
25:37
it's you. The woman ain't
25:39
took no vial. You're married to your husband.
25:41
That's your whole conversations with him.
25:44
But if he gonna stick with his story, see what you
25:47
see. What you know is your husband fit to stay
25:49
with that story, and you fit
25:51
to go to her to get another story. But
25:56
his commitment to that story is
25:58
so reslolute, and she got
26:01
to go somewhere else to get your hip.
26:03
That's how I knew you were proud of him.
26:17
That's what he's saying.
26:18
That's what he's saying to her, all
26:22
right.
26:23
Moving on, Shara and Delaware
26:26
says, my seventy two year old grandmother has
26:28
a bunch of younger friends that hang out at our
26:30
house. She and my granddad used to have
26:32
house parties a lot, but my granddad was
26:34
alive. But now she does
26:37
not know all of the people that hang out there.
26:40
Her house smelled like weed recently, and she
26:42
said the smell was from the night before. I
26:45
will be very upset as she is smoking weed
26:47
all of a sudden. How can I get my grandmother
26:50
to be a bit more cautious?
26:53
Well, you got to slow down now because your grandma
26:55
might have black homer, oh.
27:00
You know.
27:03
Yeah, and them new friends could
27:06
be her plug. You don't
27:08
know how this is going, So
27:10
you got to let this thing happen.
27:12
You know, this C. B. D.
27:14
Din went everywhere, this this whole She
27:17
down at the clinic. She probably all
27:19
these new friends she probably met down at
27:21
the shopping center.
27:23
You know, you know pleasant what
27:25
the new uh? You know Green Roots
27:27
company open up? You
27:30
know they always have you know, you
27:32
know.
27:32
Green Leaf, you know, yeah, True
27:35
Earth they always
27:37
name they cannabis stores like it's
27:40
that's a true Earth. You
27:42
know.
27:44
Herbal God's juice,
27:49
you know, low and behold,
27:53
you know, blessed, blessed
27:56
is he? You know they be trying to.
28:00
We're trying to make their names and they cannabis
28:02
stole sound real heavy, e though
28:04
I won't.
28:08
Thank you, Celo. You're listening Harvey
28:11
Morning Show. All
28:15
right, it is time for something funny, guys. And
28:17
you know people are getting ready for work right now, probably
28:20
and maybe they're making their own
28:22
lunch.
28:22
You know people do that at home.
28:24
Well, Steve, it turns out that eighteen percent
28:27
of people have admitted to eating
28:29
someone else's lunch at the office. One
28:32
worker's live tweeting of the mystery of a
28:34
co worker stolen shrimp fried rice was
28:37
retweeted over one hundred and seventy
28:39
three thousand times. Okay,
28:42
and while you may think it's
28:45
funny, and it is kind of funny, I
28:47
mean when you think about it, you
28:49
know, getting away with eating someone else's meal,
28:51
it actually could have some serious consequences
28:53
on the job. People don't forget stuff
28:56
like this, and you see these people every
28:58
single day. This is a core into a human resource
29:01
expert. It becomes a trust
29:03
issue. So Steve, I have
29:05
to ask you.
29:07
I know, you know he didn't of.
29:13
I have never in my life
29:15
taken somebody's food because I ain't
29:17
that way.
29:18
I don't lie. I don't know you.
29:19
Oh so you don't know what kind of home they have? But how
29:22
clean?
29:22
Right now?
29:23
Two things I have done, I've
29:25
had mine taken. Yeah,
29:29
I've caught a person what
29:31
happened? And I've had I've seen
29:33
a person taken a person's
29:36
life.
29:36
Okay, well what happened when someone took cure?
29:39
Both these is now situations
29:41
I used to my advantage. Yeah,
29:45
this not. You don't want this out,
29:48
So now I need a couple of favors. Is
29:51
you the mom dog?
29:53
I mean, look, I
29:55
saw you because I'm real observant. Y'all know that
29:57
about me. I'm extremely observed.
30:00
So I'm watching this dude steal
30:02
this dude food and the dude food
30:04
he was still he's deceased.
30:06
His name is James Paradise, and we worked
30:08
at General Electric, and this dude was taking
30:10
James Paradix likecause Jane could cook his ass
30:12
off, and he was just eating James lunch
30:15
every now and then, and I caught him. Now,
30:17
if I tell this to James Paradise,
30:21
dog, I'm talking about you, finna get drugs
30:23
out in the parking lot, and when you come back in, you're
30:25
gonna need to show the people that the dough yo eye d
30:30
you know like sandwiches. You know James cook
30:33
ribs, he taking ribs.
30:35
You know, he was made pork shoulder sandwich. He
30:38
used to bring it in to work for everybody. He stole
30:40
his pork shoulder, saidwich and James getting
30:42
upset. So I saw him
30:44
take James stuff. It
30:47
was this young white dude that was stealing the
30:49
food because he was single and
30:52
you know he wouldn't bring no lunch half.
30:54
At the time.
30:54
This stupid head boy on
30:56
him with you. So I told him.
30:57
I say, hey, man, you know if James find out
31:00
you're the one taking here to lunch, man, you know what's gonna
31:02
happen to you?
31:03
Ah jeez, wait
31:06
what.
31:09
What a cheese?
31:12
Yeah, that's what I need.
31:13
See.
31:13
Once I hear that fear your boy, then
31:16
I got your ass now, because oh
31:18
jeez, it's not a hood turn. He
31:21
said, Oh jee. I
31:24
said, look hold on, man, hold this ain't got
31:26
gooda w Look
31:28
this can't stay right here. But i'ma need a couple
31:31
of favors.
31:31
Man.
31:33
Now, I'm gonna leave early Wednesday.
31:36
I need you to cover my job for me.
31:38
See that it's
31:42
not a problem with me Steve. No,
31:45
it's mister Harby. Now
31:51
you're gonna put some speck on my name. I
31:54
was the original birds man you
31:57
were, So you're gonna put some speck
31:59
on my name. And so I
32:01
had him cover cover my
32:03
job like three times for
32:05
that. Then I saw a dude
32:08
take my lunch. This
32:10
is a black dude had it. Just got hired
32:13
and he hadn't completed his ninety
32:15
day probation. Now if I report
32:18
this, you ain't gonna get the job.
32:20
And you had him.
32:21
Oh man, I'm so sorry. I thought it was mine.
32:24
How the hell your name ain't Steve.
32:29
Gregory Gregory?
32:32
Your name Frederick.
32:34
Freddie st e v.
32:36
He get confused with Frederick, right right,
32:38
So I said, so Frederick, look here, man, I'm
32:41
just need a couple of values from me.
32:44
Now I'm gonna come in late.
32:46
I need you to punch my time clock when
32:49
you get at the gate, punch my time
32:51
clock for me.
32:52
Hit me in.
32:54
Oh that's that's that's that's not a problem.
32:57
Now listen to me.
32:59
They have a camera aimed at the
33:01
time clop, so you got to put your
33:03
back to the camera.
33:05
So he did it the first time.
33:07
How do you know all of this.
33:10
Come. No, excuse
33:12
me, excuse me. I
33:15
was never a thug.
33:18
Hulum was crime with a purpose with
33:21
respect to thugs just
33:23
out here doing stuff. Thugs crimes
33:28
with a purpose, and it was
33:30
always to better uplift oneself?
33:33
What y at the expensive of
33:35
it?
33:37
Yeah, And so that's what I had him do.
33:39
So I could leave early because
33:41
of the little white dude, and I could come in
33:44
late cause of Frederick Wow.
33:47
So I had him a nice little set up.
33:51
And then meanwhile at school he was, you
33:53
know, hall passes
33:55
crime, the first hustler.
33:57
Yeah, y'all need passes to be late
33:59
in hallway? Who name you put
34:01
on it? A see, my name was never on the hall
34:04
pass. So ain't no need you talking about. You got it from
34:06
Steve because I ain't got no hall pass because
34:10
I had told her back off my locker anyway,
34:13
Yeah, and so I kept my stuff.
34:15
I told her back off my locker.
34:18
I don't get that.
34:19
I had hard or bent
34:21
down and I put all my step behind. So if you open
34:23
my locker, I ain't never had nothing.
34:25
Oh, I get okay, So
34:28
I gave you a hall How the hell
34:30
I got hall passed?
34:34
I'm in class not
34:38
to write I'm here miss two days
34:40
in high school? Two cut days all
34:43
ever?
34:44
Did?
34:44
Man?
34:45
Oh?
34:46
Wow, see your life has been.
34:48
It's been wonderful, it really
34:51
really has really thank you.
34:53
And look at you now?
34:55
Look at you now, I mean steel hustle.
34:57
You're listening Moore
35:00
Show. All right, guys, it's time for a
35:02
round of would you rather? Would
35:04
you rather?
35:06
Shelley? Before you do it, just
35:08
on this first one?
35:09
Uh huh?
35:10
A or B?
35:12
We have to randomly pick A or
35:14
B and then explain why
35:16
that's how I s.
35:17
So, Tommy, you on a L B on this one, I'll
35:20
take B, Junior A, I
35:23
take I take B also, Okay
35:28
let me now let me get over here and help Junior. Let
35:30
me let me take A also, Okay,
35:32
go ahead, Shelly.
35:33
All right?
35:34
Would you rather be rich
35:38
but not skilled at all in
35:41
the bedroom at all?
35:43
Or B?
35:44
Would you rather be smaller in size
35:46
and really know how to please your partner?
35:54
Hey? That fits perfectly.
35:58
Hey you're
36:00

36:02
So not me.
36:06
Hey, you'd rather be smaller inside.
36:10
And really know how to please?
36:12
Well, you know what I want to please my mate,
36:14
and I know what it takes to please my mate,
36:16
and size is not everything, you know, it's
36:18
not the it's not the size.
36:22
The women on the show.
36:26
To even make that comment when
36:28
you hear a man talking about size, ain't everything?
36:34
All right, I ain't picking I ain't picking a head no
36:36
more.
36:36
Come on, alright,
36:40
next, alright, the next one.
36:42
I just wanted to try that, all
36:45
right?
36:46
Would you rather eat sweet potato
36:48
pumpkin pie or a
36:51
pickled pig ear sandwich?
36:53
White people's favorite people.
36:56
I'm going I'm going with a.
37:00
Put it all together.
37:05
In the world.
37:08
Potato punk and what
37:12
what was you thinking about that?
37:17
Or what?
37:17
Or a pickled pig ear
37:20
sandwich?
37:22
We don't eat that us sweet potato punk. I'm
37:24
high that as
37:26
this before you talk.
37:27
Yeah, I've had a pig sandwich before.
37:30
Oh Jesus, all
37:36
of what was we thinking? What
37:40

37:44
This damn slave as sandwich man?
37:47
All right, all right, that's it for Would
37:50

37:55
Come on, Steve, you and JR. Are here
37:57
to break it down.
37:59
It says your kids, it isn't doing a dang
38:01
thing in school when the teacher calls.
38:04
Oh yeah, I've got a
38:06
nephew, got this phone call.
38:08
When the teacher call and say, hey, listen, I
38:10
don't really want to be disrespeople, but it's
38:13
best if you just don't show up for the next pta, meaning
38:15
it's a waste of time.
38:18
I thought they like for the parents to be involved.
38:21
Yeah, I little kid ain't doing nothing.
38:24
Hey listen, let's just save us all twenty minutes.
38:26
I got another family. Just
38:28
don't even show up for next.
38:30
What are we been talking about this?
38:32
They don't do that, dude?
38:34
Wow?
38:35
Wow?
38:36
But that ay all? That's it?
38:38
N I got to wonder if
38:40
you're seventeen in the third grade, like.
38:42
How did he get here?
38:44
What?
38:45
How did he get his kill?
38:49
You don't even fit into death.
38:52
We just want to know how did you get it?
38:54
Not true?
38:55
Well, I know what truth be told. I don't know what
38:58
rady is shure, but it ain't a dick.
39:04
I know that much.
39:06
Nah.
39:06
I saw some crayons in his backpack.
39:08
I know it ain't a double
39:10
ditch.
39:11
So your kid isn't different anything
39:13
in fool.
39:14
When the teacher called, wow, I
39:19
didn't really understand the question.
39:21
To be honest with you, just when the teacher called, you know, the
39:23
kid ain't doing the damn thing school?
39:25
You mean, just make that phone call that phone.
39:28
When you get that phone call and that teacher sell.
39:30
On the other end, quite a few yourself
39:33
personally, I was doing so, you
39:36
thought you was doing so.
39:37
I couldn't understand why everybody
39:39
was so disappointed in sixty seven?
39:43
That was your school?
39:45
Yeah out of one hundred,
39:47
Yeah you sixty seven.
39:48
I'm going damn, that's an F
39:51
he failed.
39:53
No, I didn't. That's seventy is
39:55
the cut of home.
39:56
Seven is a C.
39:58
That is a dar.
40:00
Seventy is to cut off? How did I get a sixty
40:02
seven?
40:03
That's what we all would like to know.
40:07
I'm going to death to cutoff? How
40:10
did I get a sixty seven? And I tried?
40:13
What class?
40:14
Was this lunch?
40:16
Damn?
40:17
Near all of them? Anything but Jim,
40:19
Jim. I was straight a student, athletic
40:23
man, I'll get with it. Yeah, you
40:26
know, but like you know, like math.
40:29
Yeah, if I got a sixty seven in math
40:32
and it wasn't but one hundred, why
40:35
are you failing.
40:36
Me because
40:38
you obviously didn't understand and you
40:40
missed a lunch.
40:41
Did you study it all?
40:43
Did you study?
40:44
Yeah?
40:44
Study when at
40:46
home right.
40:48
Before I took the town, and
40:50
that you're supposed to supping to be fresh.
40:52
Why would you study two days before and then
40:55
the information ain't fresh you're.
40:56
Supposed to start.
40:59
Yeah, you put the study up until
41:01
the test. You know, homework
41:04
is called homework.
41:05
Surely I did all that. My
41:08
homework was.
41:09
Less than that, and you're still less
41:11
than a sixty seven.
41:12
Oh, like that's what I'm thinking about. Oh
41:18
you ain't never got a forty two.
41:21
Two?
41:24
Man?
41:24
How much red ink is on your pa?
41:28
And that was another thing. Why are we marking
41:30
on this paper? Like, yeah,
41:33
what is the degrading me fault? That
41:37
all this red that ain't really saying nothing
41:39
for me? Just put a blue X on it?
41:41
Said, that's not education, it's right,
41:44
and it's not building up confidence in the students.
41:46
Not No, it's not what you should
41:48
have got a tutor, Steve. Maybe a tutor
41:51
would have been able to help you.
41:52
Mean, wait a minute, you mean get out
41:54
of school and go back in there. You're
41:58
out of school to go back in there?
42:00
You know how someone come over maybe to your
42:02
home home and and help
42:04
you with your homework and stuff.
42:07
I came home to play. Yeah
42:11
nah, somebody coming over to do what and
42:15
understand?
42:16
Yeah, you.
42:19
Helping the teacher out teach me while I'm
42:21
there?
42:22
Matter fact, what do I say about you teaching?
42:24
Hello? Like
42:26
you're failing me as a teacher? Yes?
42:29
When I go home and I don't know what damn thing?
42:31
What was we in here doing?
42:32
Yeah, so you'd give your teacher
42:35
a grade of sixty seven?
42:37
Oh you this house? We
42:40
gotta go, we gotta go.
42:43
Coming up next, nephew, Tommy's prank phone
42:45
call. You're listening.
42:48
Morning show coming up at
42:50

I ain't heard nothing from Christian about this.
47:25
Christen might not know what we've done voted on. We've
47:27
made decisions sometimes for everybody,
47:30
you know, under saying that we'll
47:33
let Christian know that we's gonna stop the
47:35
wig. I'm just calm to let you know
47:37
before I ain't tell her what's up you're trying to tell
47:40

47:40
Christen don't even know now.
47:41
We ain't told her that we don't agree with you yet.

48:54
Now what we'll do We'll push the way in

49:00
We evaluate me.
49:01
I don't need no evaluation from y'all.
49:03
Me and Christen get married. How do I put some money on
49:06
this?
49:06
All I know is the wedding ain't happening.
49:08
That the wedding is happening now after I don't pay

51:12

it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter.
52:32
Thank you nephew. Subject he was sleep
52:34
on the back seat. Dear Stephen Shirley.
52:37
I got a call that my husband was sleep in
52:39
his car behind the bar that he goes to on
52:41
Friday nights after work. I
52:43
pulled up on him there and he was asleep
52:46
in the back seat with the windows cracked.
52:48
His pants were unbuttoned and his
52:51
shoes were off. I tapped on the
52:53
window and he did not budge, so I
52:56
hit the button to unlock the car. Then
52:58
he jumped up and screamed. I
53:00
told him to get out of the car, but he
53:02
refused to. He said that he did not
53:05
know how he got there, so I should leave
53:07
because it was not safe for me to be there.
53:10
I told him I wasn't going anywhere until
53:12
he got out of the car. He sat up and
53:14
put his shoes on, but still wouldn't get out.
53:17
I closed the car door and went and sat
53:19
in my car. He started texting
53:21
somebody, and out of the corner of my eye, I
53:24
saw a white lady approaching his car and
53:26
then suddenly turn around.
53:28
At that same time, yeah, uh
53:30
huh.
53:31
At that same time, my girlfriend called
53:33
me and said she was parked in the back
53:35
and had her eyes on me in case I
53:37
needed her help. I was so clueless,
53:40
so she explained that she thinks my husband was
53:42
about to get it on with the white woman in his
53:44
back seat. I hung up, and I went inside
53:47
and found the white woman. She said she was
53:49
going to have security escort me out
53:52
because I was dead wrong about her wanting
53:54
to be with my husband. When I got back
53:56
outside to my car, my husband
53:59
was gone. He was home
54:01
in the bed when I got there. He
54:03
said he left to avoid conflict.
54:06
He told me that he was very disappointed
54:08
that I pull that's done, and he was only trying
54:10
to sleep off the liquor before he drove
54:12
home. Does my friend's story sound
54:15
right to you? Or does my husband's story sound
54:17
right to you? This
54:19
all sounds crazy to me. From your husband
54:21
in the back seat and him telling you to go
54:23
home because it's not safe for you to
54:26
him, then leaving you there and going
54:28
home to, in his words, avoid conflict.
54:31
I thought it wasn't safe for him to leave you there.
54:33
Everyone in this letter is suspect
54:35
except you, your husband.
54:37
This mysterious white woman who threatened
54:39
to call security on you, by the way,
54:41
why was she walking to.
54:42
Your husband's car and turned around when she
54:45
saw you?
54:46
Your friend called from out of the background
54:49
somewhere and startled you.
54:50
And why was she there spying on your husband?
54:52
Anyway? What is going on here?
54:54
I wouldn't trust any of their stories,
54:56
but your husband is the only one who owes
54:59
you an explain nation because you're
55:01
married to him, and you know you won't
55:03
get the truth out of him. I mean, because
55:06
if he was just there trying to sleep off
55:08
the liquor, why didn't he let you in his car?
55:10
And why was the white woman coming his way until
55:13
she saw you. No one can make
55:15
any of this make sense. And I can't believe
55:18
he just left you there. I mean, what kind of husband
55:20
does this?
55:21
Steve make me proud of?
55:23
Woo's
55:30
so concerned about
55:32
this entire letter. I've
55:36
never seen so much stuff go wrong
55:38
that I can't write. I
55:42
don't I just want to say to anybody
55:44
out there that's hanging.
55:45
On to me for hope.
55:46
With this letter right here, let it go thet
55:50
it cold, give him all hope. Oh this
55:52
will right help him.
55:53
I can't help you. This is
55:56
so wrong on so many
55:59
damn LIFs.
56:01
I got a call that my husband
56:04
would sleep in his car behind
56:06
the bar that he goes to on Friday
56:08
nights after work. Now, let's step this
56:10
letter right here. She got
56:12
a call from who now that must
56:14
be her friend. Her
56:17
friend who called? That's
56:20
kind of crazy right there. I
56:22
pulled up on him and he would sleep in
56:24
the back seat with the windows
56:27
cracked. His pants were
56:29
unbuttoned and his shoes
56:32
were off. You
56:35
mean his pants was unbuttoned at the top
56:37
and they was unzipped, or
56:40
he had on fly button front pants.
56:43
That ain't what you wear when you're finsha
56:45
do something in the back seat. You don't wear
56:48
button fly pants. I can just
56:50
tell you that right now.
56:51
It's too hard.
56:52
You can't even have to go to the bathroom real fast
56:54
because a lot of times in button holes ain't
56:56
been worked a lot, and it's hard to get him off.
56:59
You man, you can peel on yourself.
57:01
I'm just wishing thank you for
57:03
that.
57:04
Just want to throw that out now.
57:06
He was sleep in the back seat with the windows
57:08
crack. His pants was unbuttoned and his
57:11
shoes were off. I
57:14
tapped on the window. He didn't budge,
57:16
so I hit the button to unlock the
57:18
car. Then he jumped up and
57:21
screamed. I told him get out
57:23
the car, but he refused to.
57:25
Wait.
57:26
Wait a minute, dalg what you tapped
57:28
on the window?
57:31
Yes, that's what I wanted.
57:34
What scream? It's
57:37
it's several scripts. Ah, that
57:40
one. That one don't work.
57:43
Oh, that one.
57:46
So he had to let out a blood curtain.
57:49
Git you know Freddy
57:53
Krueger type chainsaw
57:56
massacre.
57:58
He jumped up and scream. I told him to get
58:01
out the car, but he refused to. He
58:03
said he didn't know how he got there.
58:06
Now it's starting to shape pretty
58:08
good from the right, heire, I like that
58:10
angle right here. I don't know how I
58:13
got here. But he didn't
58:15
finish the lie. See after
58:17
that was the only time he had out.
58:19
I don't know how I got here. I'm
58:22
drunk. He should have stayed right there, but
58:24
he did too much non
58:27
drunk stuff. I can't really
58:29
help this man, And when we come back, I'm
58:31
just gonna dig the whole deeper for him. I
58:34
try, but
58:37
there's a white woman involved, so I really
58:39
can't be able. I can't help your stuff, white
58:42
lady, this white lady that missed
58:44
it up for you, pilp, I can't.
58:46
All right, we'll have part two of your
58:48
response coming up.
58:49
Steve a twenty three minutes after today's
58:52
subject of this strawberry letter was he.
58:54
Was sleep on the back seat. We'll
58:56
get back into it right after this. You're
58:58
listening.
59:00
Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's
59:02
recap today's strawberry letter.
59:04
Bubble bath, bourbon and berries.
59:08
We haven't got to the bubble bath, berries
59:11
and bourbon part.
59:12
Yetberries, strawberry.
59:16
We've now discovered that this woman don't know this
59:19
man.
59:19
She didnet married at all, and through
59:21
research and social media, after two years
59:23
of marriage, she's discovering
59:26
some things about this man.
59:29
Well, the man gets arrested.
59:32
While he's arrested, she goes
59:34
down to bail him out on their second anniversary.
59:37
He said he was arrested for not paying
59:39
a fine for a ticket. She
59:42
gets down there and find out his for insurance
59:44
and a bad check. She
59:47
get all his belongings, watch,
59:52
cell phone, go
59:55
back to the house.
59:58
She had been suspicious.
1:00:01
About this woman who
1:00:03
was his ex, but she's
1:00:05
always had his past code never checked her.
1:00:07
She decides to.
1:00:08
Check call log and
1:00:11
messages. Everything is deleted,
1:00:15
but she finds a video Tunta
1:00:20
Tanta. She
1:00:22
finds a video boy
1:00:24
why we keep videos?
1:00:26
Man?
1:00:26
Anyway, goes
1:00:29
to the phone, finds a video. He's
1:00:31
in a sunken tub with
1:00:34
a glass of brown liquor. Some
1:00:37
blueberries is next to the tub, and
1:00:40
she's standing over him, and
1:00:44
she don't want to say what
1:00:47
he's doing to her. I
1:00:50
wish he had her No,
1:00:53
I think I wanted you to tell
1:00:56
us what he was doing to her,
1:00:59
so we don't have to assume what
1:01:02
we all know what's going on.
1:01:06
I like to be told. See, I don't like, you
1:01:08
know, figure it out, you
1:01:11
know, because when you assume, what
1:01:13
does assuming do?
1:01:16
Makes an ask out
1:01:18
of you and me. Now,
1:01:23
since we talking about that
1:01:27
part, were assuming that's what happened.
1:01:29
Anyway, that's not the story. I
1:01:33
was so overdone with this nasty man
1:01:35
that I want to move out. While he's
1:01:38
in jail. I found his ex white phone
1:01:40
number, told her to go bail him out because
1:01:42
I'm done with him.
1:01:43
What do I do now?
1:01:45
Shirley said it right. You move out while
1:01:47
he's in jail. You're
1:01:50
done with the nasty man.
1:01:52
Now?
1:01:52
How old is the video?
1:01:54
Yeah, she didn't say.
1:01:55
See you didn't say that if
1:01:59
it's from when they was married and
1:02:02
it's just a video. Now
1:02:05
you call him a nasty man because he ain't never
1:02:07
did that to you, you
1:02:12
know. And if he do it, and I'm assuming he
1:02:14
didn't think it was nasty. But
1:02:19
you know, we've all seen
1:02:24
Jadded Jackson. Miss
1:02:27
Jackson, if you're nasty now,
1:02:30
I'm saying, that's fine with me. Sometimes
1:02:32
nasty ain't nothing, Ain't nothing wrong with nasty
1:02:35
if you you know, if that's what you want to eat,
1:02:37
Yeah.
1:02:38
Give me a beat, give
1:02:41
me a beef a Lately Rhythm
1:02:43
Nation star.
1:02:47
You know.
1:02:47
So, I don't know your definition of
1:02:49
nasty and his definition nasty is two different
1:02:52
things. I'm going
1:02:54
around in a circle with this because you
1:02:56
already know what to do. You
1:02:59
don't know the man, You don't trust him now and
1:03:02
now he's lied about this. You want
1:03:04
to move out while he's in jail, Go ahead and move
1:03:06
out. It's really nothing
1:03:08
I can give you. What
1:03:10
are you gonna wait on? The rest of it to come out
1:03:12
because it's some more. Oh,
1:03:15
it's some more.
1:03:15
This is just what you found out. Listen
1:03:18
to me. Whenever you find out something, it's some
1:03:20
more. It's
1:03:24
always more layers.
1:03:27
But to be honest, you cannot have relationship
1:03:30
with a person that's been around and
1:03:32
not expect to see some history show up.
1:03:36
That's life. We all have history.
1:03:39
And so now if you're waiting to find somebody
1:03:41
that ain't got no history, then you're gonna start dating
1:03:43
sixteen year olds.
1:03:47
And lady, that ain't gonna work out for you, right,
1:03:50
No, you'll be in jail. Yeah, yeah,
1:03:53
we already know who in jail now for this.
1:03:56
Right as
1:03:58
he should be.
1:04:00
Yes, in the words
1:04:02
of little Duval, if
1:04:06
you really believe you can fly, now
1:04:09
would be a good time. So
1:04:17
that's the response. I don't have nothing for this
1:04:19
young lady. She knows what the deal is.
1:04:21
It's clear, and you can stick
1:04:23
around and wait and hear what he say when he get
1:04:26
out. But it's gonna be more the same. And so now
1:04:28
there you have it. I
1:04:30
don't know what else to say.
1:04:31
Sureley, okay, I mean that
1:04:34
was good. Sometimes that's
1:04:36
all you can say.
1:04:37
You know, you can't help everybody.
1:04:40
I think you helped her just fine. I'm
1:04:43
glad it was blueberries, like I said, and
1:04:46
he is paying her rent.
1:04:47
Right. He wrote the bad check to the
1:04:49
apartment building.
1:04:50
What was that?
1:04:52
A bad chick.
1:04:54
That's why he's in jail.
1:04:57
Hot checks, Yeah, hot
1:04:59
check.
1:05:03
Because that money is immedia.
1:05:05
They don't chase checks no more.
1:05:07
No, no,
1:05:10
ain't no.
1:05:11
Yeah.
1:05:12
All right, all right, thanks Steve. Post
1:05:16
your comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey
1:05:18
FM on Instagram and Facebook. Check out the
1:05:20
Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.
1:05:22
You're listening morning
1:05:25
show. All right.
1:05:26
So we might not feel any Chris cool
1:05:28
weather yet because we're still you know,
1:05:30
still in summer. But fall is just a few
1:05:32
weeks away, and it's the ideal
1:05:35
time to prioritize habits that
1:05:37
can keep you healthy and full of energy before
1:05:40
you know, before I get to those healthy tips.
1:05:42
Quick question for Steve. Now, Steve, are
1:05:45
you focused on your on your health Steve
1:05:47
and the guys?
1:05:48
Yeah focused? Okay, yeah,
1:05:50
all right, he elevated it this week.
1:05:52
I've even elevated it.
1:05:54
Okay, all right, Well, here's some tips to help
1:05:56
you stay healthy for the fall season
1:05:59
and you may have some tips of your own, Steve.
1:06:02
As we head into the cold.
1:06:03
And flu season, load up on foods that can
1:06:05
boost your immune system, including foods
1:06:08
rich and vitamin C and vitamin D.
1:06:10
You have any tips, Steve.
1:06:12
Yeah, you have got
1:06:15
to stop being an alcoholic a
1:06:21
must. If
1:06:23
you are alcoholic, you have got
1:06:26
to check yourself in. In other
1:06:28
words, stop going down to that color stove.
1:06:30
It's a musk.
1:06:32
If you alcoholic, you got to stop
1:06:34
that right now. That's
1:06:37
my number one tip health.
1:06:39
Okay, that's all.
1:06:40
Alcoholics must stop being alcoholic,
1:06:43
immediate, go ahead, ship, All.
1:06:44
Right, here's another one. Make sleep a priority.
1:06:47
Being well rested is crucial to staying
1:06:49
healthy.
1:06:50
Sleep is important to your health.
1:06:53
Too much sleep is critical
1:06:55
to your wealth. How much sleep
1:06:57
are you supposed to get per night?
1:07:00
I don't believe, sep. I
1:07:05
never slept years because
1:07:07
I don't. I don't see how you need once you're
1:07:09
not a child anymore, I don't see why you need
1:07:12
eight hours.
1:07:13
I don't know how the child, but I'm glad they
1:07:15
sleep well.
1:07:16
I mean a child, because he's growing, his bones
1:07:18
got extended and all this here. Children
1:07:21
have to sleep, but adults,
1:07:23
if you're sleeping eight hours. You're growing, but you're
1:07:25
growing. You're not growing taller, you're
1:07:28
growing wider.
1:07:30
And I don't.
1:07:30
I don't. I mean, like you said, Tommy, you don't
1:07:33
know last time you had eight hours? Do
1:07:35
you sleep eight hours? Never? Do
1:07:38
you need eight hours? I got six
1:07:41
or less.
1:07:41
I got sickle cell. Don't sleep eight hours. I'm
1:07:45
sick and don't get out.
1:07:49
But I just don't. I'm not a proponent of eight
1:07:51
hours is a third of your life.
1:07:54
I find that desperately hard
1:07:57
to see how you can have a quote
1:08:00
life if you sleep a third
1:08:02
of it.
1:08:03
That does not make sense to me.
1:08:05
But I'm not gonna get into that no more because
1:08:08
they ate me up on the internet talking about Steve.
1:08:10
Harvey prefers wealth overhealth. So here's
1:08:13
my thing about sleep.
1:08:14
If you want to sleep, get all
1:08:17
you want sleep as
1:08:20
long as you like, you
1:08:22
can sleep your life away. You
1:08:24
can sleep. You can sleep until you dream
1:08:27
the most magnificent dreams. But
1:08:29
I'm telling you this. To make a dream
1:08:31
come true, you got to get woke. So
1:08:35
but if you want to sleep, go ahead. I ain't Steve,
1:08:38
don't give a damn no more.
1:08:39
All right, you're listening.
1:08:42
Morning show, All
1:08:45
right, guys, time now for comedy roulette.
1:08:47
All right, Jay, quickly
1:08:50
explain it please, so simple.
1:08:52
Take three subjects. Put them
1:08:54
on a wheel. Spin the wheel. Where stop?
1:08:57
Because we that good?
1:08:58
We can make it funny it watch it?
1:09:00
Here you go, all right, comedians, here
1:09:02
we go.
1:09:04
Ready, all right.
1:09:07
Things people say when they overdo
1:09:09
it at a funeral. Uh,
1:09:14
things men say when they get
1:09:17
caught looking at another woman, or
1:09:23
things people say when they get caught
1:09:25
in a lie. On the Detective TV
1:09:27
show, first forty eight. Oh
1:09:30
that's a good one too, Yeah, all
1:09:34
right, really ready, alright,
1:09:36
spend.
1:09:45
Oh it
1:09:48
is I was sure hoping it was when
1:09:51
they get caught looking at another woman.
1:09:52

1:09:55

1:10:34

1:10:37

1:10:40
party, Okay, yep, I shot
1:10:43
him.
1:10:43
But see I thought this was a water
1:10:45
gun. I ain't know it was a real
1:10:48
gun. It was a water
1:10:50
gun. It was water. I'm just
1:10:54

1:11:12
When they get caught in a lie on first
1:11:14
For if he was dead,
1:11:17
then how did he wave at me when I left?
1:11:19
Hun kill me?
1:11:20
That he waved it at me?
1:11:22
He waited at me when I left?
1:11:23
You wasn't dead.
1:11:27
Things they say first forty eight when they get caught
1:11:29

1:11:35
Them, so it was there.
1:11:36

1:15:57

1:15:59
inside and really know how
1:16:01
to please your partner?
1:16:09

1:16:12
Hey, yeah, you're
1:16:14
losing, so not me.
1:16:17
That's you pick

1:16:22
inside you really.
1:16:24
Know how to please?
1:16:25
Well, you know what I want to please my mate,
1:16:28

1:16:30
And size is not everything, you know, it's not
1:16:32
the it's not the size.
1:16:36
The women on the show.
1:16:40
To even make that comment when you hear a man
1:16:42
talking about size, ain't everything?
1:16:47
All right?
1:16:47
Ain't picking I ain't picking a head no more.
1:16:49
Come on, alright,
1:16:53
next, alright, the next one.
1:16:55
I just wanted to try that, all
1:16:59
right.
1:16:59
Would you rather eat sweet potato pumpkin
1:17:02
pie or a
1:17:04
pickled pig ear sandwich?
1:17:06
White people's favorite, Black people's favorite.
1:17:09
I'm going I'm going with a
1:17:12
put it all Together.
1:17:16
Unites in the
1:17:18
World.
1:17:21
Potato parking Hell
1:17:25
is you thinking about that?
1:17:30
Or a pickled pig ear
1:17:33
sandwich?
1:17:35
We don't eat that sweet potato punk pie
1:17:39
dish before you talk.
1:17:40
Yeah, I've had a pig sandwich before.
1:17:43
Good Lord Jesus, that
1:17:48
hell of what was we thinking? What
1:17:52
was we thinking?
1:17:57
This?
1:17:57
Damn slave and sandwich? Oh man?
1:18:00
All right, all right, that's it for would
1:18:02
you rather today? Coming a yeah?
1:18:05
Yeah, it's our last break of the day
1:18:07
and there we'll have some closing remarks from the one
1:18:09
and only Steve Harvey right after this.
1:18:11
You're listening Morning
1:18:14
show, all right, Steve, here we are, last
1:18:16
break of the day.
1:18:18
Last Yeah.
1:18:18
This is the last day of the week for us, Friday,
1:18:21
and it's your you're up closing
1:18:24
remarks.
1:18:25
You know what, man, Going into the
1:18:27
weekend, I'm
1:18:30
gonna talk about a subject that can
1:18:33
sound a little different
1:18:35
coming from me, But I began
1:18:38
to understand more and more why
1:18:40
it's okay for me to
1:18:43
talk about God. Because
1:18:47
I am such an imperfect
1:18:49
person, because
1:18:52
I've made some serious,
1:18:55
serious mistakes in my life, because
1:18:59
I'm flawed, because
1:19:03
I am oftentimes transparent
1:19:07
in some of my failings
1:19:09
in life, because of my
1:19:11
willingness to say I'm sorry.
1:19:15
I have learned
1:19:18
that I'm a very qualified person
1:19:21
to talk about God because
1:19:25
I'm a good example that
1:19:27
you can be an imperfect person with
1:19:30
so many flaws, have
1:19:33
done so many wrong things in your
1:19:35
life, have gotten it wrong so
1:19:37
many times, have been
1:19:39
written off, ridiculed,
1:19:44
understood, and misunderstood,
1:19:47
and you can still have
1:19:49
a relationship with God that
1:19:53
brings your life into great benefit.
1:19:56
So therefore I'm qualified to talk
1:19:58
about this.
1:20:02
Now.
1:20:03
I'm improving. And
1:20:05
somebody told me the other day, so
1:20:08
you just gonna stay an entry level Christian,
1:20:10
because I was jokingly telling the person, man,
1:20:12
I think I'm really just an entry level Christian.
1:20:15
I don't really know how to do advanced
1:20:17
Christianity, but I'm okay with this. So
1:20:19
they said, so, you're never going
1:20:21
to improve as a Christian. I said,
1:20:24
well, I'm doing the best I can
1:20:26
right now with where I am and
1:20:28
what I've been working with. I say,
1:20:30
but you know, I think that you
1:20:32
know I've improved a little bit. I'm better than I was,
1:20:35
but I may not be where you think
1:20:37
it should be, but I ain't where I was. So
1:20:41
with that said, this
1:20:43
is a good reason for me to say what I'm
1:20:45
saying. I would suggest
1:20:48
to everybody that can hear me that
1:20:51
you should form a relationship with
1:20:53
God immediately, starting
1:20:57
now. And the reason I know you
1:20:59
need the relationship with him is
1:21:02
because life is so difficult. If
1:21:04
you try to do this without him, you're
1:21:08
not going to make it that
1:21:10
if you try to get through this thing called life
1:21:13
without a relationship with God, it is
1:21:15
too difficult and you will be trapped.
1:21:18
I learned something from Victoria Oldstein
1:21:20
i had on the show last week, because she said that the
1:21:22
devil really don't care nothing about you. All
1:21:25
he wants to do is rob you of your destiny.
1:21:27
I had never heard anybody say that before.
1:21:31
I really have it, not that I can remember. She
1:21:34
said, the devil really don't care anything
1:21:36
about you. It's not interested in you in the least
1:21:38
bit. His mission is
1:21:40
to rob you of your destiny,
1:21:43
is to throw you off course, to not
1:21:45
make you see what God created
1:21:47
you to be. And that really caught
1:21:50
my attention because if I look back on my life,
1:21:52
all the things I've happened, everything that's
1:21:54
happened to me, every time the devil sends
1:21:57
the bloggers to attack me, the
1:21:59
one mission that's clearly at stake
1:22:02
and is at hand, is that they are
1:22:04
simply trying to rob me of
1:22:06
my destiny. When
1:22:08
something happens in your life
1:22:11
that the devil sets into play because
1:22:13
he has all these imps to work for him, it's
1:22:16
simply because he's trying to rob you of your
1:22:18
destiny. That he knows that God
1:22:20
has blessings for you stored
1:22:22
up that he hasn't given to you, and he
1:22:25
don't want you to get to that point of receiving
1:22:27
him, So he got to throw you off course and
1:22:29
keep you from taining your destiny.
1:22:31
And that's his job and man understanding
1:22:34
that has made my life a little bit
1:22:36
clearer. Ain't made it no easier, but
1:22:38
it has allowed me and helped me to understand
1:22:42
some of the things that occur in my life. Everything
1:22:45
that happened to me ain't from the
1:22:47
devils or the imps. Sometimes God
1:22:50
provides a test. Sometimes a test
1:22:52
is to just to prepare you for something that He has
1:22:54
for you. So in testing you, it
1:22:57
gets you ready for where you're about to receive
1:22:59
love. Learn that it's a little bit of this, and it's a little
1:23:01
bit of that. Sometimes I'm a little confused
1:23:04
at to which direction is coming from. But at
1:23:06
the end of the day, God always reveals
1:23:08
to me what the message was that He
1:23:11
wants me to learn. Because behind every
1:23:13
setback and hardship, that is a
1:23:15
lesson and a blessing. But the important
1:23:18
thing for you all and for all of us to form
1:23:20
some type of relationship with God because
1:23:23
God knows your name. When
1:23:25
you reach out to God, he knows
1:23:27
your name.
1:23:29
He does.
1:23:30
He made you, He created
1:23:33
you, He knows exactly who you
1:23:35
are. He put them fingerprints on
1:23:37
you. He made your ten fingerprints
1:23:40
different from the six other to eight
1:23:42
billion other people that's in this world
1:23:45
and the billions of people that have already
1:23:48
died. Ain't none of
1:23:50
us have the same fingerprints. That's
1:23:52
how much you mean to him. Have
1:23:55
a relationship with God because
1:23:57
he knows your name. Stay
1:24:00
in touch with him. We were all
1:24:02
created to need
1:24:05
him moment by moment. When
1:24:07
we walk away from that, we put
1:24:09
ourselves in jeopardy. It
1:24:12
opens up the door for the devil to slip
1:24:14
in and rob us of our destiny.
1:24:17
Have a relationship with God. Talk
1:24:19
to him. You don't have to go to church
1:24:22
to do that. Do that you have a
1:24:24
better week. Ind I know, I will. Y'all
1:24:26
have a good week in hell.
1:24:28
Drop that mic.
