M.K. Styles back again with another edition of The Styles Report.
There’s trouble on Blackstreet!
In twenty years this picture will make absolutely no senseNew Jack Swing pioneer Teddy Riley and his partner Chauncey Hannibal are suing two of their former bandmates, Mark Middleton and Eric Williams, for illegally booking shows using the name Blackstreet (which is trademarked by Teddy and Chauncey).
This sounds like an open and shut case. Let’s be real, after Dave Hollister left, the group pretty much was just Teddy and Chauncey. The other two new guys were glorified backup dancers. I mean, it’s analogous to Latavia Roberson and Farrah Franklin getting together and going on tour as Destiny’s Child.
