And we're live, how about that, from anywhere
0:02
in the world? I'm telling you, I'm here
0:04
with you every single day, Monday through Friday
0:07
anyway, and a little bit sometimes on the
0:09
weekends. Welcome everyone to the Trish Regan show.
0:11
AOC is in a little bit of trouble,
0:13
shall we say? You know, it just keeps growing
0:16
for her. It's like first the DOJ,
0:18
now this one, we're going to get
0:20
into what accusations are being leveled against
0:22
the representative from New York in just
0:25
a moment. But we also got to
0:27
talk today about what's going on over
0:29
at the FAA, brand new just coming
0:31
out a tape of someone who was
0:34
allegedly a DEI activist at the FAA
0:36
and wanted to make sure that certain
0:38
groups were making it through the exams,
0:40
allegedly gave the answers. And there's a
0:43
tape recording of him telling Everyone he's
0:45
going to give them the
0:47
answer so that's causing some
0:49
concerns all happening as Rosie
0:52
O'Donnell says she's moved to
0:54
Ireland permanently Lucky Ireland
0:56
Donald Trump said a few comments
0:58
on that we will discuss welcome
1:00
good to have you here we
1:02
begin on AOC accused of stealing
1:04
actually this is kind of a
1:06
biggie there is a group coming
1:08
forward Americans for public trust it's
1:10
accusing her of some pretty serious
1:12
stuff taking a look at this
1:14
being first reported in the New
1:16
York Post this is an ethics
1:18
group and they're basically filing this
1:20
ethics complaint against squad member Alexander
1:22
Ocasio Cortes accusing her misusing taxpayer
1:25
funds on dance training Americans
1:27
for Public Trust, a private watchdog
1:29
group that targets corruption, alleged the
1:32
AOC, tapped into her, tapped, no
1:34
pun intended, into her member representational
1:36
allowance, apparently she gets two million
1:38
bucks a year, to shell out
1:41
thirty seven hundred bucks to Juan
1:43
de Gonzales and another eight hundred
1:45
fifty dollars to bombazo dance company
1:47
for what is being called training.
1:50
Now they say that this is
1:52
not exactly a kosher shall we
1:54
say because you really can't. have
1:56
dance trainers as something that you're...
1:58
Taxpayers are funding. So she's responding
2:00
to this complaint and she's like,
2:03
oh, no, no, no, no, there's
2:05
nothing there. She's not done this
2:07
tweet. 100% wrong. None of this
2:09
is taxpayer money. This is actually
2:11
an FEC filing. Be loud and
2:13
wrong about something else. Try again
2:15
next time. And they're like, uh,
2:17
okay, honey, we got you. Because
2:19
now, apparently, you do have
2:21
election expenses. And you're actually charging
2:23
them to taxpayers, which makes this,
2:25
you understand, guys, even worse. Taking
2:27
a look here at this statement
2:29
of disbursements, this would be coming
2:31
from her members representation fund, of
2:34
which she apparently spent $1.8 million,
2:36
just $200,000 short of the $2
2:38
million she's being allowed. And you
2:40
can see that the Bumbazo dance
2:42
company and the Hondi Gonzales training,
2:44
that's all on there. And she's
2:46
trying to say, no, this is
2:48
an FEC thing. Which they're then
2:50
saying, well gosh, that makes it
2:52
even worse. Alexandria Casio Cortez. So
2:55
is this just an accounting error?
2:57
Or is she actually really misusing
2:59
funds? In their view, Americans for
3:01
Public Trust is saying she misused
3:03
the funds. She's using your taxpayer
3:06
dollars for something that actually should
3:08
be an election expense. And so
3:10
it's coming at... rather a bad
3:12
time, I should say, for the
3:15
Republican Republican. The representative, we wish,
3:17
and no we don't wish, the
3:19
representative from New York, coming at
3:21
a bad time because you see,
3:23
she's in the midst of being
3:25
possibly charged for impeding government.
3:28
This could actually be a
3:30
criminal. case against her and it's something
3:32
that the DOJ is actually looking into.
3:35
They're possibly preparing a case against one
3:37
Alexandria Acasio Cortes, Ilhan Omar would be
3:39
in that group as well. We know
3:41
already that Pam Bondi has come out
3:43
against Leticia, has come out against Leticia
3:45
James, the AG of New York, has
3:47
come out as well against Kathy Hocal
3:49
and the head of the DMV in
3:52
New York. And now she's looking at
3:54
Alexandria Acasio Cortes because AOC is
3:56
having webin' webinars and seminars on how
3:58
you need to avoid ice. She's just
4:00
doing this for her constituents
4:02
and then it's all fine because
4:04
these are her constituents. Now, apparently
4:07
she doesn't seem to understand that the
4:09
people who actually voted for her, the
4:11
people who actually are here legally in
4:13
this country. voting those are her constituents
4:15
but no she's she's expanding the pool
4:17
shall we say so already AOC has
4:19
already worked up saying oh my gosh
4:21
am I going to be targeted for
4:23
this maybe she's trying to make something
4:25
more of it like trying to get
4:27
ahead of the news cycle in a
4:30
way so that she can play the
4:32
victim but she has sent a letter
4:34
over to Pam Bondi wanting to know
4:36
whether or not she is being investigated
4:38
for this and I can assure her
4:40
that she is. Okay? Let's just cut to
4:42
the chase, right? She is. And we
4:45
know that if they can prove this
4:47
one out, they absolutely positively
4:50
will. So AOC, now in new
4:52
trouble, again, this new lawsuit with
4:54
this Americans Republic Trust saying, what
4:57
the heck are you doing? Like,
4:59
why are you taking dance classes
5:01
and your partying effectively? on the
5:03
American taxpayer and she's trying to
5:05
say no actually this isn't the
5:08
American taxpayer this is an election
5:10
expense so then they're coming back
5:12
at her and they're saying okay
5:14
this is even worse than we
5:16
thought because it's an election expense
5:18
and yet it's being put look at
5:21
the documentation again on this members representational
5:23
allowance so each member has a certain
5:25
amount of money that they can spend
5:27
on various things that they need for
5:29
their office she gets two million dollars
5:31
and she's out there using some of
5:34
this money for these dance So AOC
5:36
may have actually just put herself into
5:38
a worse situation by coming out and
5:40
saying all this. And again, it comes
5:42
as we see Pam Bondi basically saying,
5:44
look, you know, you're in violation of
5:46
the law. We saw Pam Bondi say
5:48
this just recently, right? Against Leticia, against
5:51
Kathy Hotel, and saying this is
5:53
a new DOJ. And, you know,
5:55
we're not going to stand for
5:57
this kind of stuff anymore. And so
5:59
I think... I think, you know, when it's
6:01
all said and done, AOC is going
6:03
to find herself in a very challenging
6:05
spot. Yes, there is a bit of
6:07
a spotlight on her, but she ought
6:09
to be able to deal with it.
6:11
I mean, I think Donald Trump certainly
6:13
had a spotlight on him for however
6:16
long, four years, well, really eight years,
6:18
and he still has it. And, you
6:20
know, it was courtesy of one, oh,
6:23
you know the soundbout, I got
6:25
to play it, one Leticia James.
6:31
He's called me
6:34
disgraceful.
7:05
He's called me a racist. We've
7:07
got to stand up to an administration,
7:09
which is too male, too pale, and
7:12
too stale. Okay, so I only play
7:14
that. And Uncle Andy, thank you for
7:16
your generosity. Much appreciated. You
7:18
knew she was a shady lady, right?
7:21
Well, who knows? I mean, I think
7:23
it certainly sounds sketchy, though. And she's
7:25
being accused of something. pretty darn serious.
7:27
And I would just say, listen, you
7:30
know, you've got to live a pretty
7:32
clean life if you're the representative AOC
7:34
from New York. I'd recommend that Jasmine
7:36
Crockett do the same, especially with the
7:39
spotlight now on her. In fact, in
7:41
some ways, they're kind of transferring all
7:43
their love for AOC onto one Jasmine
7:45
Crockett, who's being viewed, believe it or
7:47
not, as the future of the party. But
7:50
I would just say, look, AOC, you can
7:52
go and try and try and explain explain
7:54
this one, explain this one, this one, this
7:56
one, saying exactly what
7:58
is incriminating. The fact
8:00
that you're out there trying
8:02
to defend people that you
8:04
believe are your constituents who
8:06
really aren't, I mean we
8:08
can have that debate all
8:11
day long, but you know
8:13
the federal government does have
8:15
control over who is in this country,
8:17
they have control over the
8:19
borders, and so you trying
8:21
to explain it away on
8:23
one NPR, so-called. You held
8:25
an online forum. a
8:27
know-your-rights forum that he didn't
8:30
like. What were you doing? What
8:32
was your goal, as you saw
8:34
it? My job is to educate
8:36
and act as a liaison of
8:38
critical information to
8:40
my constituents, and I
8:42
was informing all of
8:45
my constituents of their
8:47
constitutional protections, and in
8:50
particular, their constitutional protections
8:52
against illegal search and
8:55
the United States. Take
8:57
some a minute. Holman was upset
8:59
I suppose because he felt that
9:01
you were giving advice to people
9:03
who were here illegally. Were you? I
9:05
was giving advice to all of
9:07
my constituents. Yeah. He said he was
9:09
going to report you or even that
9:11
he did reach out to the Department
9:13
of Justice. Have you heard from
9:15
the Department of Justice? I
9:17
have not and I intend on
9:20
reaching out to the Department of
9:22
Justice to inquire. Really. What would
9:24
your question be for the
9:26
Department of Justice? Well,
9:28
there is a member
9:31
of the Trump administration
9:33
who is threatening and
9:35
seeks to open an inquiry
9:37
and are you going to do it?
9:39
That would be Tom Holman. What
9:42
would you learn? What do
9:44
you hope to learn from
9:46
that exchange? I think it's
9:48
important to know where this
9:50
administration stands. I think
9:53
she's pretty nervous now. I think that when
9:55
you add all this up, one, she could
9:57
be in a lot of trouble, serious ethical
9:59
trouble. because of some of the accounting or
10:01
lack of accounting that's being done on her
10:04
campaign or within her office. You combine that
10:06
with her complete. flagrant disregard for
10:08
the actual law where she's more concerned
10:10
about the quote unquote constituents that are
10:13
not here in the country legally it
10:15
all adds up to problems for one
10:17
AOC and I think that these problems
10:19
are not going to be going away
10:21
for her or anytime soon I'm again
10:24
looking at some of your comments hello
10:26
good to have you guys all here
10:28
and let me see unk Andy who
10:30
had a funny comment just saying you
10:32
know that she's always been sort of
10:35
a bit on the shady is when
10:37
we say shady, I do think that
10:39
there's a hunger there
10:41
from some of these
10:44
political representatives that suggests
10:46
that they're willing to say and
10:48
do anything. in order to get
10:50
themselves elected. Don't forget what she
10:53
was doing with Tom Bowman, who
10:55
by the way didn't get elected.
10:57
Some people have joked that, oh,
10:59
you know, all those dance lessons
11:01
must have been so she could
11:04
go run around stage. Remember when
11:06
she was doing all that crazy
11:08
dancing on stage with that guy
11:10
who was doing all that crazy
11:12
dancing on stage with that guy
11:14
who was the alarm puller? Remember
11:16
how he pulled the fire alarm? because people
11:18
are getting kind of sick of all that
11:21
she is about and I think even the
11:23
Democrat Party has realized they can't deliver Hispanics
11:25
now and certainly AOC is not doing them
11:27
any any good at all. Quick shout-up for
11:29
one of our great sponsors here on the
11:31
show I was looking at gold today it's
11:33
up. Hey the market all turned around didn't
11:35
it? We have to talk about that all
11:37
on that CPI number. Turns out that Trump's
11:39
policies are kind of working after all. What
11:41
is CNN going to do? We will discuss.
11:43
But in the meantime, if you're somebody who
11:45
is worried about the future, if you're worried
11:47
about inflation, if you just want to make
11:49
sure that you have some stability in your
11:51
portfolio for the next however many years, I
11:53
do recommend Gold as part of a well-diversified
11:55
portfolio. And our friends over at American Guard
11:57
for Gold can help you out just go
11:59
to. Trish loves Gold.com up to
12:01
$15,000 in free silver with qualifying
12:04
offers. You can text Trish to
12:06
65532, call them at 1-4-495-1-1-1-5. Wow.
12:08
So AOC is in the hot
12:11
seat, and I think she's going
12:13
to remain there for a while.
12:15
We'll find out whether or not
12:17
there's anything really illegal going on.
12:19
But you want to talk illegal.
12:21
We can talk those NGOs. I
12:23
mean, the whole NGO environmental scheme.
12:25
that the Democrats had going. This
12:27
is really kind of unbelievable. This
12:29
is all getting exposed in real
12:31
time, including, by the way, a
12:33
New York post report that just
12:35
broke suggesting that Biden may have
12:37
pumped $300 billion into the economy
12:39
in the quarter before the election
12:41
in hopes that things would look
12:43
a little bit better. He was doing
12:45
a little bit window dressing there and now
12:48
they're trying to get some of this stuff
12:50
undone. But I really question whether any of
12:52
that was legal. I mean if they're
12:54
misusing taxpayers in such a crazy
12:57
way where they're giving what 22
12:59
billion dollars to some of these
13:01
NGOs for environmental reasons, I'll tell
13:03
you, this is all changing and
13:06
it's stopping. Lee Zeldin found some
13:08
of this out with Stacey Abrams
13:10
because Stacey Abrams apparently was
13:12
running some organization that was part
13:15
of this like under this umbrella
13:17
of power forward communities and she
13:19
got 2 billion dollars. in tax,
13:22
in your tax money in 2024,
13:24
interesting timing, right, so that you
13:26
could go out and buy everybody
13:29
new appliances? What's that about? I mean,
13:31
this is an organization that basically didn't even
13:33
know how to fill out its own accounting
13:35
forms. This is an organization that was just
13:37
kind of created as a pop-up. You can
13:40
call it a pop-up NGO, and then it
13:42
gets all this money. It seems a little
13:44
shady, does it not? And here is Stacey
13:46
Abrams, much like AOC sort of implicating and
13:48
incriminating herself. She went on to MS NBC
13:51
to justify it the other day, and now
13:53
Lee Zelden, head of the head of the
13:55
EPA, head of the EPA, who the what
13:57
he just announced, all these regulations get
13:59
rid of all this red tape
14:01
in hopes of bringing energy prices even
14:04
lower. Here's Stacey Abrams really kind of
14:06
implicating herself in all of this. One
14:08
of the ironies of the attack on
14:11
you and I'm going to play what
14:13
he did was that my understanding is
14:15
the the program at the source of
14:17
this whole thing is a program to
14:20
lower costs for people. Do I have
14:22
that top line correct? You have it
14:24
absolutely right. Okay, so I'm gonna I'm
14:27
gonna play what he had to say
14:29
and then I'm gonna ask you to
14:31
explain what the program is that was
14:33
such an obvious ludicrous laugh line for
14:36
the Republicans there. Take a list. One
14:38
point nine billion dollars to recently created
14:40
decarbonization of Holmes Committee headed up and
14:43
we know she's involved just at the
14:45
last moment the money was passed over.
14:47
by a woman named Stacey Abrams. Have
14:49
you ever heard of him? Okay, so
14:52
what is this organization? What is your
14:54
relation to it and what does it
14:56
do? In 2023 and 2024, I led
14:59
a program called Vitalizing De Soda. We
15:01
worked in a tiny town in South
15:03
Georgia to demonstrate that by replacing energy
15:05
inefficient appliances with efficient appliances you can
15:08
lower your cost and in fact we
15:10
accomplish that for 75% of the community
15:12
they got appliances that are lowering their
15:14
bills right now we have one woman
15:17
who saw her electric bill cut in
15:19
half from 180 to 98 dollars that's
15:21
what we delivered and based on that
15:24
program a coalition of organizations famous organizations
15:26
came together and said to the EPA,
15:28
if we can do this here, we
15:30
can do this for millions more Americans.
15:33
Let us invest the money of America
15:35
in lowering the cost for Americans. And
15:37
the EPA said, okay, great, go for
15:40
it. So the concern is that you're
15:42
buying votes, okay? I'll give you a
15:44
new stove and you vote for Democrats
15:46
because we're all about all these giveaways,
15:49
this, that and the other. I mean
15:51
that's basically what they're trying to get
15:53
at and they're looking at some of
15:56
these forms, right? Like here's the United
15:58
Health. form getting seven billion dollars massive
16:00
amount of money like the biggest that
16:02
has ever been pumped into anything after
16:05
filling out a 49 page form and
16:07
most of it's kind of blank so
16:09
lots of questions here it comes just
16:12
as we learn and this is New
16:14
York Post is reporting this Biden actually
16:16
pumped 300 billion dollars apparently into the
16:18
economy just before the election in hopes
16:21
it would make the economy look a
16:23
little bit better instead of actually doing
16:25
the hard work right doing the things
16:28
that you need to do to make
16:30
things that you need to do to
16:32
make things that you need We've had
16:34
a market that's gone up down and
16:37
all around. And what did I say?
16:39
Keep a clear head. Make sure that
16:41
you think about what actually does matter
16:44
in the long run. And as an
16:46
investor, as long as you're not in
16:48
and out in a day, right? As
16:50
long as you have a long-term approach,
16:53
you're going to be better off. We
16:55
just celebrated our one-year anniversary. I should
16:57
point out at 76 research. So proud
17:00
of that. Look at these portfolios. Up
17:02
up, up, up, up, up, up. And
17:04
by the last couple days. Over the
17:06
last couple days with all the last
17:09
couple days with all this couple days
17:11
with all this craziness with all this
17:13
craziness with all this craziness with all
17:16
this craziness with all this craziness with
17:18
all this craziness with all this craziness
17:20
with all this craziness with all this
17:22
craziness with all this craziness. We actually
17:25
have been beating the S&P, continuing to
17:27
beat the S&P, because we don't get
17:29
sucked into the insanity of it all.
17:31
And I mean that. There's a certain

kind of insanity. Take a look at

those portfolios. You can also go to

17:41
you get the 76 report for just

a dollar a month. We actually just
17:45
came out. I should point this out
17:47
with a new pick. This is interesting
17:50
because this stock just got beaten down
17:52
so badly over the last couple of
17:54
days We just added it to our
17:57
American Resilience portfolio So take a look

at some of that if you get

18:06
Lee's Eldon you just heard some of
18:08
his comments who was concerned about some
18:10
of the things that Stacey Abrams may
18:13
or may not have been doing well
18:15
he came out just moments go and
18:17
announced that he's getting rid of a
18:19
ton of regulations. Like this is amazing.
18:22
This is amazing. Donald Trump wants to
18:24
bring down energy costs and his solution
18:26
to doing that is actually reducing the
18:29
amount of regulation that you have within
18:31
the energy industry so you can open
18:33
things up and that we can drill.
18:35
I mean the left is going crazy.
18:38
This is their nightmare. Listen to Lee.
18:40
Today I'm pleased to make the largest
18:42
deregulatory announcement in US history. The Environmental
18:45
Protection Agency is initiating 31 historic actions
18:47
to fulfill President Trump's promise to unleash
18:49
American energy, revitalize our auto industry, restore
18:51
the rule of law, and give power
18:54
back to the states. EPA will be
18:56
reconsidering many suffocating rules that restrict nearly
18:58
every sector of our economy, and cost
19:01
Americans trillions of dollars. Our actions include
19:03
the Biden administration's deeply flawed Clean Power
19:05
Plan 2.0, Mercury and Air Toxic Standards,
19:07
Quado, BC, particulate matter 2.5, light, medium,
19:10
and heavy car and truck rules, nishaps,
19:12
and the so-called social cost of carbon.
19:14
To advance cooperative federalism, EPA... Lee's Eldon,
19:17
new head of the EPA, he's like
19:19
just getting rid of all of it.
19:21
This was Donald Trump's platform right from
19:23
the beginning, right? Because he wants oil
19:26
prices coming down and just the mere
19:28
thought of this, by the way, has
19:30
had oil prices coming down, something he
19:33
alluded to today in an earlier press
19:35
conference he was there at the head
19:37
of Ireland. We'll get to the comments
19:39
about Rosie a little bit later on
19:42
because they're well worth hearing very funny
19:44
stuff. But here he is saying, you
19:46
know what, when you actually get rid
19:48
of some of this regulation you have
19:51
the ability to bring down oil prices.
19:53
And when you bring down oil prices,
19:55
guess what? You start to reduce inflation
19:58
for some reason. Democrats can't figure it
20:00
out. I'm very happy with his oil
20:02
is down to $65 a barrel and
20:04
that's faster than I would have a
20:07
tear. We put on the gas, we
20:09
stepped in the gas in order to
20:11
get oil and with what's happening so
20:14
we're getting that down and when energy
20:16
comes down prices are going to be
20:18
coming down with it. So in a
20:20
very short period of time we've done
20:23
a very good job. Indeed. Right? I
20:25
mean you saw the CPI news out
20:27
today. CPI coming in at 2.8 percent.
20:30
Let me see if I have, oh
20:32
I'm going to get to that because
20:34
I get some great graphics. I want
20:36
to show you because this is really
20:39
2.8 percent. I mean, it's up 2.8
20:41
percent, but everybody thought it was going
20:43
to be three or higher. Everybody thought
20:46
that, you know, now that Trump is
20:48
in there and he's talking tariffs and
20:50
this, not in the other, there's no
20:52
way that inflation would actually come down
20:55
and what do you know? It came
20:57
down. I don't know what the Democrats
20:59
are going to do for talking points
21:02
now. But, you know, the reality is
21:04
they're thinking about things in a really
21:06
smart way. And whether it's... employees were
21:08
told they had to clear out their
21:11
desk last night. It's over. He's getting
21:13
rid of him. Most of them anyway.
21:15
Linda McMahon, who's the new head of
21:18
the Department of Education, formerly Well, she
21:20
may still, I mean, her family owns
21:22
it anyway. She was an executive for
21:24
years and years at the WWF, the
21:27
WW, whatever they call it, the wrestling
21:29
thing, right? She's a great lady. I've
21:31
known her many years. She's here on
21:34
Laura Ingram's show on Fox, talking about
21:36
this whole process. This is a big
21:38
deal. Department of Education went in in
21:40
the 70s, around 76, with Jimmy Carter,
21:43
and it took a lot of the
21:45
power away from the states, away from
21:47
the states, from the states, Madam
21:50
Secretary, great to have you in studio
21:52
today. All right. First, welcome to the
21:55
show, because you haven't been on in
21:57
studio with me before. Now, is this
21:59
the first step? on the road to
22:01
a total shutdown? Yes, actually it is,
22:04
because that was the president's mandate. This
22:06
directive to me clearly is to shut
22:08
down the Department of Education, which we
22:11
know we'll have to work with Congress,
22:13
you know, to get that accomplished. But
22:15
what we did today was to take
22:17
the first step of eliminating what I
22:20
think is bureaucratic bloat, and that's not
22:22
to say that a lot of the
22:24
folks, you know, it's a humanitarian thing
22:27
to a lot of the folks that
22:29
are there, you know, you know, they're
22:31
out of the, they're out of a
22:33
job, they're out of a job, they're
22:36
out of a job. But we wanted
22:38
to make sure that we kept all
22:40
of the right people, the good people,
22:43
to make sure that the outward-facing programs,
22:45
the grants, the appropriations that come from
22:47
Congress, all of that are being met.
22:49
And none of that's going to fall
22:52
through the cracks. So that was my
22:54
next question. So the criteria for keeping
22:56
that 50% is related to expenditures and
22:59
key programs? Correct. Like Congress appropriates the
23:01
money that is going through Title I,
23:03
through IDEA programs. What's that stand for?
23:05
Well, you know what? I'm not sure
23:08
I can tell you exactly what it
23:10
stands for, except that it's the programs
23:12
for disabled and needs. Individuals with Disabilities
23:14
Act, I think. I'm guessing. I don't
23:17
know. I don't know all my acronyms.
23:19
I've been here for 30 years. This
23:21
is my fifth day on the job,
23:24
and I'm really trying to learn them
23:26
very quick. What does that mean? Well,
23:28
when people left today and they got
23:30
their notification to take their laptops and
23:33
their phones home with them and we
23:35
didn't want part of the people who...
23:37
We're being permanently let go and those
23:40
who are remaining to all to some
23:42
of them to show up to work
23:44
tomorrow morning. That's standard corporate practice that
23:46
we just we just locked the doors
23:49
and said for those that are coming
23:51
back will know that they'll be coming
23:53
back on Thursday. Where people given a
23:56
chance to take any personal effects? They
23:58
were told that they will be allowed
24:00
to come back. We would arrange for
24:02
them to come back and take their
24:05
personal effects with them. Basically. at her
24:07
job, she's actually going to literally get
24:09
rid of everything. Now it's interesting because
24:12
in some ways Donald Trump loses a
24:14
little bit of power. Remember that little
24:16
dust up with Maine recently where he
24:18
said, hey you're not going to get
24:21
any federal funds? Maine, unless you actually
24:23
play by the rules and our rules
24:25
mean you cannot have people that were
24:28
born as males competing in girl sports.
24:30
And Maine was like, oh, you know,
24:32
I'll see you in court. So he's
24:34
losing a little, but that's actually his
24:37
mentality, right? Because if you fully believe
24:39
in a smaller government, then you do
24:41
actually want to turn that power back
24:44
over to the states with the thinking
24:46
that the states can do what they
24:48
want. It's their problem, right? They can
24:50
fund education. They can come up with
24:53
their own standards. And they can hold
24:55
themselves accountable as opposed to making it
24:57
be a big bureaucratic machine. Former head
24:59
of the Teachers Union, right? The whole
25:02
American Federation for teachers, and maybe she
25:04
still is, anyway, Randy Wine Garden, going
25:06
all over MS NBC's airwaves as much
25:09
as she can to have a complete
25:11
hysterical melta. I mean, she's really worked
25:13
up, watch. is why so many people
25:15
are so mad about it because they're
25:18
just taking opportunity away from kids that
25:20
don't have it so billionaires kids of
25:22
billionaires they have it they go to
25:25
private schools everyone else 90% go to
25:27
public schools don't take away their opportunity
25:29
so let's stay on the fact sorry
25:31
no I'm really angry about this because
25:34
I'm really angry I taught kids in
25:36
Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn New
25:38
York Is it really about the kids,
25:41
Randy, or is it about you and
25:43
the teachers? I'm curious, because I look
25:45
around and it was actually the poorest
25:47
communities that went back to school the
25:50
latest. Thanks to teachers unions in 2020
25:52
and well into 2021. And I look
25:54
at the test data. And it's the
25:57
kids in the poorest communities that are
25:59
always suffering the most, who have, by
26:01
the way, the most powerful teachers unions.
26:03
So you know what? Get it out
26:06
of the hands of the federal government.
26:08
Let the states... with it. Let's create
26:10
a more level playing field and put
26:13
more responsibility on the places that can
26:15
try and get it right. Don't again
26:17
tell Randy because Randy is just a
26:19
I mean she's just she's she's a
26:22
mess right like this is this is
26:24
her worst nightmare all coming true. We
26:26
know for example what Texas would do
26:29
right? They'll use it for vouchers so
26:31
they won't give it to the kids
26:33
who have it now they'll just give
26:35
it For vouchers, schools, religious schools. And
26:38
frankly, what we're seeing in all the
26:40
programs that are now extant in terms
26:42
of vouchers, they don't work for kids.
26:44
They basically go right now. It becomes
26:47
a tax credit for people who are
26:49
already are sending their kids to private
26:51
schools. So it's income redistribution. Oh, okay.
26:54
So she really doesn't like voucher schools.
26:56
And you know the reason for that.
26:58
They don't want you to have any
27:00
choice in anything. They want to indoctrinate
27:03
you into everything that they believe in.
27:05
Gosh, all money. We can't possibly allow
27:07
your kid to use that money and
27:10
go to a Catholic school or a
27:12
religious school or any kind of private
27:14
school. It's really kind of shocking how
27:16
much they think they know everything, right?
27:19
They got it. They know better. And
27:21
they're going to do everything they can
27:23
to try and hold on to that
27:26
power. And it's frightening. It really is
27:28
frightening. Listen, there's an indoctrination going on.
27:30
It is toxic, it is bad, it
27:32
is ruining. So many kids, you look
27:35
at all the problems they have nowadays.
27:37
It's one of the reasons why, you
27:39
know, I should point this out, this
27:42
would be an opportune time. I partnered
27:44
with Herzon Foundation this year, and I'm
27:46
so proud of this, because it's an
27:48
organization that is devoted, it is devoted,
27:51
that you understand all the K-12 education
27:53
choices. If you're not like in the
27:55
public school, is there an alternative? And
27:58
they've investigated all the alternatives for Christian
28:00
schools. Because you know what? A Christian
28:02
education. I had one. First, second, and
28:04
third grade. Catholic school. Sacred heart. Great
28:07
education put in a really good foundation
28:09
That was instrumental for me for the
28:11
rest of my life So I encourage
28:14
you know and if you have kids
28:16
or if you don't have kids if
28:18
you have grandkids if you have friends
28:20
who have kids It's all free. It's
28:23
just a foundation that wants to help
28:25
guide you and they'll give you all
28:27
the resources You can get your hands
28:29
on there at Herzog Foundation. They'll help
28:32
you understand where the Christian alternatives for
28:34
school might be in your community because
28:36
listen. I mean you might actually have
28:39
the chance now you might actually be
28:41
able to make the decision on their
28:43
own and i think that's what's so
28:45
darn threatening right that's what's so darn
28:48
threatening to these people in the department
28:50
of education god forbid that you as
28:52
an individual might actually be able to
28:55
choose the kind of education your kid
28:57
is getting this is exciting this is
28:59
an exciting time i'd love to see
29:01
vouchers i love putting You know, the
29:04
money back in the hands of the
29:06
people, I mean, if you're a poor
29:08
family, think about, you know, she's, oh,
29:11
it's all going to billionaires. No, it's
29:13
not, Randy. You know what, if you're
29:15
a poor family and you have to
29:17
go to the local school down the
29:20
street because you don't have a choice,
29:22
but now all of a sudden the
29:24
Trump administration says we're going to give
29:27
it back to the states and states
29:29
like Texas, hey, they'll say, you know
29:31
what, you can take this, the public
29:33
schools to be more competitive schools to
29:36
be more competitive. All of a sudden,
29:38
now, there's demand. You know, it's a
29:40
market. You introduce a little marketplace economics,
29:43
and maybe you'll actually get some better
29:45
opportunities on the education front. And that's
29:47
what terrifies them. Really and truly. Remember
29:49
to subscribe, share a like. Yes, I'm
29:52
here. You guys are laughing. Just don't
29:54
you ever take a vacation? I guess
29:56
the short answer is no. I don't.
29:59
I really don't. I mean, especially right
30:01
now. I think it's just too important
30:03
a time. So do me the favor
30:05
of subscribing, liking, sharing, all that good
30:08
stuff. I'll tell you, this caught me
30:10
by surprise today. This one was surprising,
30:12
even for me. Now, I'm a big
30:14
believer in Trump's economic... policies, but I'm
30:17
also a realist and I recognize that
30:19
there are going to be some bumps
30:21
and challenges along the way because they're
30:24
talking about really instituting some systemic change.
30:26
And whenever you do something like that,
30:28
right, there's going to be winners and
30:30
losers, it's another reason why I think
30:33
you need to be really smart about
30:35
investing plugged for 76 research. But this
30:37
one was really good news today. So
30:40
inflation came down to 2.8% and most
30:42
people thought it was going to stay
30:44
up around three maybe even higher so
30:46
this just blew everyone away and it's
30:49
really really really good news I mean
30:51
inflation taming is exactly what we want
30:53
need the market love this right so
30:56
you saw the market reversing course with
30:58
the S&P ending up higher and then
31:00
you saw you saw CNN actually having
31:02
to admit it which kind of I
31:05
got a little bit of a kick
31:07
out of but but first before I
31:09
get to that take a look Am
31:12
I still in the shot? There we
31:14
go. This is a really fascinating graphic.
31:16
It shows you where we are 2.8%.
31:18
Did you see how high it went
31:21
under one Joe Biden all the way
31:23
up to 9.1%? Forgive me, I think
31:25
I said 9.6% yesterday. But it was
31:28
a train wreck under Joe. And even
31:30
though it was going down, you know,
31:32
it was cumulative. So even when we
31:34
say 2.8% today, it's CNN. had to
31:37
admit that it was good. So this
31:39
is worth seeing. Finally, we have some
31:41
good news on the economy and really
31:44
the number one issue for many Americans,
31:46
the cost of living. So we just
31:48
learned that consumer prices in February increased
31:50
by 2.8% year-over-year, 0.2% month over month.
31:53
both of these figures were a step
31:55
in the right direction and both were
31:57
better than expected. So this is definitely
31:59
very encouraging to see because it's going
32:02
to I think relieve some fears that
32:04
inflation was perhaps re-accelerating because this actually
32:06
breaks a streak of four straight months
32:09
where I think you could see it
32:11
on the chart all the way to
32:13
the right. where the inflation rate was
32:15
going in the wrong direction, right? It
32:18
was going higher and higher. Finally, we're
32:20
seeing it dip. Hmm. Yay! Okay, so
32:22
this is kidneys. Thank you, Lou, for
32:25
the generosity. Much appreciated. Lou Malm... Malm
32:27
Donato. I think I said that right.
32:29
Forgive me if I didn't. Anyway, the
32:31
reality here is... in my estimation going
32:34
to get a whole lot better. Now,
32:36
does it get there overnight? I'm not
32:38
so sure about that. I was very
32:41
impressed with this inflation number. I got
32:43
to tell you, this was better than
32:45
I expected. But it's like, they can't
32:47
admit it. They came up with this
32:50
idea the other day when the market
32:52
got kind of crazy because of the
32:54
tariff talk that, oh, Trump is bad
32:57
for markets. And it's all billionaires, and
32:59
they're like going to pocket everything. And
33:01
this is the narrative that they're going.
33:03
And they're saying the same thing. Trump
33:06
is bad for markets. He's not, by
33:08
the way. He's not at all. Certainly
33:10
not for my investments. Again, 76 research.
33:13
But here's the representative out of Texas,
33:15
and you can see they're stuck on
33:17
something here. We're trying to talk directly
33:19
to the American people about our positive
33:22
vision for the future, but it's based
33:24
on data. American people can see that
33:26
Donald Trump was given an economy that
33:29
was on the way up. We could
33:31
come from... the pandemic worked our way
33:33
through that stock market inflation going down
33:35
stock market going up it's completely inverted
33:38
now stock market crumbling consumer confidence declining
33:40
that's the Donald Trump legacy that's what
33:42
Donald Trump's economy and his tariffs on
33:45
again off again all of that uncertainty
33:47
the American public they may not follow
33:49
every in and out but they know
33:51
that these guys are not fighting for
33:54
them And so I appreciate the DPCC
33:56
and leader Jeffries offering an opportunity for
33:58
us to get our message out in
34:00
a different format. message at all. I
34:03
don't even think you understand what the
34:05
economy is. You don't understand what GDP
34:07
is. So for the record, S&P did
34:10
close higher. And right now, S&P Futures
34:12
and Dow Futures are up as well.
34:14
So I think that's not really going
34:16
to work. But here's the thing. Donald
34:19
Trump's like playing a long game. He's
34:21
playing a very long game. He's not
34:23
playing for this week or this month.
34:26
He's playing for the future of the
34:28
future of your children. You know, the
34:30
rest of America. I mean, this is,
34:32
this is sort of monumental, what he's
34:35
trying to accomplish. He outlined this in
34:37
an interview with Maria Bartiroma, my former
34:39
colleague, and, you know, this is what
34:42
they glommed on to, because he didn't
34:44
cheerly the stock market, and they just
34:46
can't let this one go. You said,
34:48
look, we're going to have a disruption,
34:51
but we're okay with that. Is that
34:53
what you meant? The stock market going
34:55
down is the disruption going down is
34:58
the disruption. You can't really watch the
35:00
stock market. If you look at China,
35:02
they have a hundred-year perspective. We have
35:04
a quarter. We go by quarters. That's
35:07
true. And you can't go by that.
35:09
You have to do what's right. What
35:11
we're doing is we're building a tremendous
35:14
foundation for the future. Tremendous foundation for
35:16
the future is something that could be
35:18
bumpy along the way. And they're going
35:20
to try and basically... get him at
35:23
every turn. You know, whenever the stock
35:25
market ends lower, it's his fault. And,
35:27
you know, when the stock market ends
35:30
higher, they're going to credit themselves? I
35:32
don't know. But, you know, let me
35:34
just say, when you're listening to Whoopi
35:37
Goldberg on the stock market, we got
35:39
a problem. This helps send the market
35:41
into free fall yesterday, which some mega
35:44
folks are blaming on the Biden economy.
35:46
The economy added 16.6 million jobs and
35:48
gross domestic products. group 12.6. They are
35:51
the only administration in history to have
35:53
created jobs every single month. Yes. They
35:55
achieve... Yes. Whoopie. That's not entirely... Would
35:58
you actually... Would anyone here? I'm curious.
36:00
I'll ask the question to the group
36:02
here. where you would actually say the
36:05
economy was under Joe Biden. Did you
36:07
actually think that that was a good
36:09
economy in any way, shape, or form?
36:11
That was not rhetoric. They were trying
36:14
to say, and all through the whole
36:16
campaign, they were trying to like basically
36:18
act that we were the crazy ones,
36:21
they were gas lighting us all the
36:23
time. Somehow it was, you know, our
36:25
own insanity if that we thought for
36:28
any moment in time, that somehow inflation
36:30
wasn't all that bad. And it's like,
36:32
no, inflation is that bad. I mean,
36:35
I can go back to the chart
36:37
I just showed you just showed you,
36:39
right I just showed you, right, right.
36:42
This one, okay? Inflation, I'm off camera,
36:44
but whatever, you guys know where I
36:46
am. That's really a bad inflation chart
36:49
because that 40-year high of 9.1 percent,
36:51
listen, you know who that was? That
36:53
was none other than Mr. Joe Biden,
36:56
so you can sit there and pretend
36:58
all you want on all this stuff,
37:00
but it's not happening, okay? The rest
37:02
of the public is where we are,
37:05
and look, I'm not saying it's going
37:07
to be perfect. articulating just exactly what's
37:09
at. By then, however, the Dow had
37:12
tumbled another 1%. Since Thursday, it has
37:14
fallen more than 2.5%. The markets are
37:16
going to learn. Let the deal maker
37:19
make his deals. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik
37:21
brokered today's truce with the Ontario Premier.
37:23
What is really being accomplished with all
37:26
of these one or two-day tariffs that
37:28
end up getting yanked? Well, when you're...
37:30
negotiating with someone and they're not paying
37:33
attention and they're disagreeing. who's the best
37:35
deal maker ever to sit in that
37:37
chair. He's going to say, here's my
37:40
response. And then all of a sudden,
37:42
shockingly, they respond. And yet the prospect
37:44
of an aggressive trade war has prompted
37:47
both JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs to
37:49
bump up the risk of a recession
37:51
this year. Will these policies be worth
37:53
it if they lead to a recession,
37:56
even a short-term recession? These policies are
37:58
the most important thing America has ever
38:00
had. So it is worth it. So
38:03
it is worth it. It is worth
38:05
it. A. I don't think the only
38:07
reason there could possibly be a recession
38:10
is because of the Biden nonsense that
38:12
we had to live with. These policies
38:14
produce revenues. So you're saying when it
38:17
looks chaotic and unpredictable from the outside
38:19
that there actually is a master plan
38:21
when it comes to these tariffs? It
38:24
is not chaotic. And the only one
38:26
who thinks it's chaotic is someone who's
38:28
being silly. He said reciprocal tariffs. Nobody
38:31
expected him to announce 50 percent. this
38:33
morning. He needed to break some guy
38:35
in Ontario who said he was going
38:38
to tax American energy 25%. The President
38:40
of the United States in the White
38:42
House says, oh no you won't and
38:44
breaks him. And you think that's chaos?
38:47
And they, well, you know, look, you
38:49
have to be willing to break a
38:51
little glass along the way, right? And
38:54
that's what's going on. And let's hope
38:56
it goes on, because listen, I think
38:58
there's some great stuff ahead. I really
39:01
do. For our economy, I'm excited about
39:03
it. I think that much much can
39:05
happen, but you know what? I'm just
39:08
going to say this. Congress has to
39:10
get its act together, right? We need
39:12
to be a united front. We need
39:15
Republicans doing the right thing. The reality
39:17
is binomics took us way, way, way,
39:19
way back, despite what Whoopi Goldberg says.
39:22
And there's some tricky stuff coming up.
39:24
I'm just going to point this one
39:26
out because it's reality. These tax cuts
39:29
that we got, the Trump tax cuts,
39:31
they're due to expire. So that would
39:33
actually mean that families would be paying
39:35
$1,500. is doing on this because right
39:38
now they're just saying hey listen we've
39:40
got to actually be realist here we've
39:42
got to have our act together because
39:45
we don't want Bidenics taking us back
39:47
if we don't get these tax cuts
39:49
through then we're still going to have
39:52
to deal with all these rising costs
39:54
and the reality of inflation as much
39:56
as Trump is trying to change all
39:59
this It's not going to change enough
40:01
if we still have higher taxes. So
40:03
they've got to vote for an extension
40:06
of those tax cuts that Donald Trump
40:08
put in and that we've benefited from
40:10
for, you know, however many years at
40:13
this point. So they've got a grassroots
40:15
army. I just encourage you guys to
40:17
get involved with them in any way
40:19
that you can and just help out
40:22
because it's a message that needs to
40:24
be heard. It really is one of
40:26
the most important things I think legislation-wise
40:29
that's going to be on the table
40:31
for... Republicans and Democrats alike. So go
40:33
check it out. Protect prosperity.com. Go check
40:36
them out today and see how you
40:38
can get involved in any way, shape
40:40
or form, even if it's just, you
40:43
know, sending a little email to your
40:45
Congress person and letting them know, reminding
40:47
them, reminding them, and this is Republicans
40:50
too, right, because let's face it, everybody
40:52
has their own self-interest, and so we've
40:54
got to make sure there's a united
40:57
front on the tax cuts themselves themselves.
40:59
Absolutely, you know, They don't have a
41:01
clue. We're going to write them off
41:04
as Trump did. Again, he was speaking
41:06
earlier in the Oval Office today. He
41:08
pointed it out. They don't have a
41:10
clue. The Democrats have no clue. You
41:13
saw that the other night during the
41:15
speech. Two young women were slaughtered by
41:17
illegal aliens. One young man is very
41:20
serious cancer and many other problems. We
41:22
look at the people up there. They
41:24
all had difficulty. Very serious difficulty. But...
41:27
when we're talking about two young girls,
41:29
beautiful young girls, Lake and Riley, you
41:31
know, you know, the whole story that
41:34
evening was a disaster for the Democrats
41:36
in my opinion. I would mention, and
41:38
I'd see two mothers that were inconsolable
41:41
as they stood, crying. Their daughters have
41:43
been absolutely just destroyed, killed, viciously killed,
41:45
and the young man who loved the
41:48
police departments, he had cancer and has
41:50
cancer, very bad cancer. There wasn't a,
41:52
from people sitting there, Democrats, there wasn't
41:55
a hand clap. Nobody stood. There were
41:57
just stone-faced. These people are sick. There's
41:59
something wrong with them. There was no
42:01
standing for anybody. The only thing they
42:04
liked is when they heard about the
42:06
death taking place with Ukraine. They were
42:08
happy about that. They were happy about
42:11
that. They were happy about that. Well,
42:13
Pocahontas was very happy. She's the one
42:15
that was clapped. That's why I looked
42:18
at her. I said, oh, it's Pocahontas.
42:20
These people are sick. They don't know
42:22
what's happening. They don't know what's happening.
42:25
And if they don't vote, then what
42:27
you're going to do is you're going
42:29
to have taxes that are going to
42:32
go through the roof. You're going to
42:34
have a very bad time. You're going
42:36
to have some very bad things happen.
42:39
And people are going to blame the
42:41
Democrats. Thank you, by the way, Spirit
42:43
Field. Watching from Knoxville, Tennessee. I love
42:46
that. I love that. And we've got
42:48
people from all over in the community.
42:50
Thank you for your generosity. But that's
42:52
what I was just talking about, right?
42:55
So they don't have a clue. And
42:57
they're not going to vote for an
42:59
extension, the tax cuts. They don't like
43:02
tax cuts. They want to take all
43:04
your money. So we need the Republicans
43:06
on the same page. So with that
43:09
in mind. Go see my friends. Lives
43:11
are losing it right now over Tesla.
43:13
So they just couldn't believe what Donald
43:16
Trump did yesterday. By the way, Elon's
43:18
committing more money to Trump organizations. I
43:20
want to get to that story in
43:23
just a moment. But first, a shout
43:25
out to our friends about balance and
43:27
nature, because I'll tell you, I wouldn't
43:30
be here today without them. I've had
43:32
a terrible cold, and thanks to these
43:34
guys, they send me my vitamins and
43:37
I actually think it's had a meaningful
43:39
effect. Vitamin D and vitamin D. and
43:41
I've been taking it with my fruits
43:43
and gummies. that I take every day.
43:46
Fruits and veggies, I should say. They
43:48
are gummies, gluten free, for those of
43:50
you that care. I have a child
43:53
who actually has gluten intolerant, so I
43:55
notice these things. But listen, it's been
43:57
great. I take them every day. I
44:00
feel good. I've only had one cold
44:02
this year, which is a record for
44:04
me, considering how many colds have been
44:07
going through my household. So that's all
44:09
good news. You can get balance in
44:11
nature as well. Go to their website.
44:14
full-on money back guarantee, no harm, they'll
44:16
follow. If you use code word, Trish,
44:18
it helps the show, it helps me,
44:21
it helps you. So we thank our
44:23
friends over balance of nature for keeping
44:25
me in good shape and hopefully keeping
44:28
you in good shape too. Lives are
44:30
losing it right now over this Tesla
44:32
thing. So Donald Trump was kind of
44:34
annoyed that there were these violent attacks
44:37
happening at Tesla. dealerships and understandably annoyed
44:39
right like I'm annoyed seeing it too
44:41
anytime you see a destruction of property
44:44
that's never a good thing first mate
44:46
thank you so much appreciate the generosity
44:48
first man it's kind of funny because
44:51
I'm on a I'm on a boat
44:53
anyway these lives are like whoa how
44:55
dare he turn the White House into
44:58
a showroom of sorts for these cars.
45:00
It was kind of funny, actually. He's
45:02
good at it, right? He's really, he's
45:05
a good salesperson. So keep in mind
45:07
the backdrop of what's going on. First
45:09
of all, X came under a cyber
45:12
attack. So Elon was kind of upset
45:14
about that. And then Tesla and the
45:16
dealerships have been coming under attack. I
45:19
think we have some video. See, this
45:21
is 44 wheels were stolen from Tesla's
45:23
in League City parking lot. This is
45:25
from a local affiliate. So they've had
45:28
these issues and there's some violence that's
45:30
being directed at Tesla dealerships and being
45:32
directed at people driving Tesla cars. In
45:35
fact, I know people in my sort
45:37
of liberal neck of the woods that
45:39
I live in New England that have...
45:42
gotten rid of Tesla's and actually taken
45:44
big hits. I mean, because they're not
45:46
really thinking economically speaking, so they've taken
45:49
hits on their Tesla's just because they
45:51
hate Donald Trump so much. So you
45:53
get Tesla fully under attack and Donald
45:56
Trump's like, you know what, to heck
45:58
with it, I'm going to show my
46:00
support, I'm going to buy a Tesla.
46:03
And so he invited all the different
46:05
trucks and cars, the cyber truck, all
46:07
to come into the White House and
46:10
they had, gosh down it, a full-on
46:12
car show. That's pretty good. It's gonna
46:14
look beautiful. Okay. I'm gonna look at
46:16
this. I'm gonna make a decision. Do
46:19
you want to hear what my decision
46:21
is? Okay. What's the car that I
46:23
drive is in one place. Which is
46:26
that one? I like that. Yeah. Okay,
46:28
so they're taking a look. They're doing
46:30
the walk, right? The line, if you're
46:33
listening on Apple Podcast, we thank you
46:35
for that. You can't see the video
46:37
that we're looking at. But he's, you
46:40
know, I'm talking to Elon. He's taking
46:42
a look at this. 50%? Is that
46:44
going to go into effect on Canada
46:47
or not? They're asking about tariffs. I'll
46:49
let you know, I'll let you know,
46:51
let me go back to looking at
46:54
my cars. Okay, so. This is really
46:56
interesting the reaction that you see in
46:58
the liberal media and I have to
47:01
show it to you because it's worth
47:03
understanding Again remembering that there have been
47:05
violent attacks on Tesla Donald Trump came
47:07
out and said listen if there's violent
47:10
attacks on a business any business I
47:12
consider that a form of domestic terrorism
47:14
and they go crazy like crazy. Here's
47:17
that guy who looks just like Rachel
47:19
Maddo Yeah, Donald Trump bought a car
47:21
from his buddy, or at least he
47:24
said he did, who knows, right? Right
47:26
off the makeshift Tesla lot, they set
47:28
up in front of the White House.
47:31
What does this have to do with
47:33
the American people and their interests? Public
47:35
interest? Couldn't tell you. When Trump was
47:38
asked what to do about the people
47:40
targeting Tesla cars and dealerships, here's what
47:42
happened. Some say they should be labeled
47:45
domestic terrorists. I will do that. I'll
47:47
do it. I'm going to stop them.
47:49
We catch anybody anybody doing it because
47:51
they're harming a great American company. You're
47:54
either with the Tesla or you're with
47:56
the terrorists? That's one way to try
47:58
to stabilize an oligarch's business empire. Come
48:01
on. I mean, really, I mean, they're
48:03
resorting to that. And it's a talking
48:05
point, by the way. It's totally a
48:08
talking point, because that wasn't the only
48:10
show on MS NBC to do that.
48:12
There's another one. I don't even know
48:15
who these hosts are. That one's just
48:17
the one that looks like Rachel, right?
48:19
These hosts are saying the exact same
48:22
thing. So clearly, they got their direction.
48:24
But then you also overnight have this
48:26
post claiming that protests at Tesla dealerships
48:29
are illegal. He said today he would
48:31
label violence against dealerships, domestic terrorism. You
48:33
know I am judicious in how I
48:36
play this sound, but I think you
48:38
need to hear it from him. Mr.
48:42
President, talks about some of
48:44
the violence that's been going
48:46
on around the country at
48:48
dealerships. Some say they should
48:51
be labeled domestic terrorists. I
48:53
will do that. I'll do
48:55
it. I'm going to stop
48:57
them. We catch anybody doing
48:59
it because they're harming a
49:01
great American company. Let me
49:03
tell you, you do it
49:05
to Tesla and you do
49:07
it to any company. So
49:10
did you not hear the part about
49:12
the violence, right? If there's violence against
49:15
a company? Then that is a far,
49:17
I mean, it's not protest. How did
49:19
protests suddenly become violent and like that
49:22
was okay? Kind of reminds me of,
49:24
oh, summer of 2020, right? When you
49:26
know, they were looting and they were
49:28
burning things down and somehow those were
49:31
just protests. Peaceful protest, my you know
49:33
what, all right? MS NBC, get real.
49:35
If there's suddenly torch in your building,
49:38
if there's like graffiti all over your
49:40
building there at Rockefeller Center, you're going
49:42
to call that a peaceful protest, don't
49:45
you want somebody actually protecting you? No,
49:47
that's violent, right? When you have violence
49:49
in the picture, that becomes something totally
49:52
different. But they just can't let this
49:54
one go. I mean, on and on
49:56
and on and on, you know, it's...
49:58
It's sort of weird how much they
50:01
have grown to hate Elon Musk. And
50:03
I'm looking at your comments, and it's
50:05
true, you guys, you're right. Like, they
50:08
used to love Elon, right? Like, Elon
50:10
could do no wrong. Tesla was the
50:12
greatest thing. And now all of a
50:15
sudden, they want to get rid of
50:17
their Tesla. They want to get rid
50:19
of their Tesla. They hate the company.
50:22
They want to get rid of their
50:24
Tesla's. They hate the company. You can
50:26
spin it however you want. Man that
50:28
looks like Rachel and the other one
50:31
the other lady. I don't even know
50:33
who she is and then they're over
50:35
on CNN And you know what this
50:38
Scott Jennings? He deserves a raise He
50:40
deserves a huge raise because he has
50:42
to sit there with these idiots and
50:45
remind them of basic things like oh
50:47
Tesla employs people Tesla actually helps Americans
50:49
They see this as all some kind
50:52
of oligarch move by Elon here. So
50:54
you have plenty of time and you
50:56
have plenty of time the problem is
50:58
that the Republican messaging right now continues
51:01
to be workers Americans, you're going to
51:03
feel a little bit of pain. And
51:05
Americans have been feeling pain. That's why
51:08
Democrats lost the election. That's why Democrats
51:10
lost everything. Trump promised that he would
51:12
end up lowering costs, that he would
51:15
have a better economy, that he would
51:17
get us out of the war in
51:19
Ukraine. He promised all of these things,
51:22
and he hasn't done it. And instead,
51:24
which I think was a terrible PR
51:26
move in Scott. I'm assuming you agree,
51:28
because as a Republican strategist, you wouldn't
51:31
have advised him to go. in front
51:33
of the White House and drive a
51:35
Tesla. Wait, why? Because of course I
51:38
would have. You know why? Because if
51:40
I were advising a Republican president, I
51:42
would say... Let's support American companies that
51:45
have thousands of American workers and thousands
51:47
more workers who make indirect products for
51:49
it. Yeah, I think it would be
51:52
a good idea if American companies did
51:54
well under my age. Oh, okay. So
51:56
you're going to go ahead and support
51:58
a billionaire, but not support the American
52:01
worker and not necessarily. Who do you
52:03
think makes Tesla's Sochi American workers? It's
52:05
good. It's very much as Janetana met.
52:08
There's such socialists. It's just hard to
52:10
watch. It's really, really hard. It's like
52:12
when I was in the news. back
52:15
in San Francisco like 20-something years ago
52:17
and Enron was going down and they
52:19
started cheering literally cheering and I'm like
52:22
guys like Enron actually employs a lot
52:24
of people And Enron is actually a
52:26
staple in most American 401ks and they
52:28
forget they have this whole disconnect, right?
52:31
Because they just hate business and they
52:33
hate billionaires unless of course they're their
52:35
own. I mean, they love George Soros,
52:38
right? This is breaking right now and
52:40
this is very concerning. There is some
52:42
concern about a particular tape that has
52:45
just been released. There allegedly is this
52:47
DEA activists that was... Employed by the
52:49
FAA, you know of course that the
52:52
FAA has come under fire because there's
52:54
fear and concern that we don't have
52:56
the most talented people in those jobs
52:58
and we haven't been able to recruit
53:01
the most talented people for those jobs,
53:03
but there was an effort that began
53:05
back in the Obama era and continued
53:08
on through Biden to make sure that
53:10
we had more diversity equity and inclusion
53:12
there and that apparently became the biggest
53:15
priority over some other things like actually
53:17
making sure that you had the most
53:19
qualified people for the job. And so
53:22
this is suddenly getting... exposed. This is
53:24
brand new story coming to us actually
53:26
out of the Daily Mail that had
53:28
the exclusive on this. They actually had
53:31
the air traffic controller with an audio
53:33
tape. This is again allegedly him giving
53:35
the answers to people that were applying
53:38
for the jobs. It is believed these
53:40
were minorities that were applying for air
53:42
traffic controller jobs and he wanted to
53:45
make sure that they had the correct
53:47
answers and I actually left a voicemail
53:49
about this. So this is an ongoing
53:52
investigation. They're going to have to get
53:54
more information. The story first being reported
53:56
by Daily Mail. I have the tape.
53:58
So I want to show you right
54:01
here. This is this DEA activist at
54:03
the FAA promising that he's going to
54:05
come forward allegedly with these answers for
54:08
people. Let's listen to it. It's been
54:10
a really busy time for me these
54:12
past four days. I know that each
54:15
of you are eager, very eager to
54:17
apply for this job vacancy announcement and
54:19
trust. After tonight, you will be able
54:22
to do so. I am asking that
54:24
you give me another 15 or 16
54:26
hours, allow me to go to work
54:28
and come home, provide you with an
54:31
email that will be extremely crucial in
54:33
the opening stages of this hiring process.
54:35
There are some valuable pieces of information
54:38
that I have taken a screenshot of
54:40
and I'm going to send that to
54:42
you via email Trust and believe it
54:45
will be something that you will Appreciate
54:47
to the utmost Keep in mind we
54:49
are trying to maximize Your opportunities and
54:52
I'm doing the very best that I
54:54
can with the time that I'm given
54:56
today when I get off at 11
54:58
o'clock The first thing that I'm going
55:01
to do is I'm going to finish
55:03
out that email. I'm going to send
55:05
it to each of you and as
55:08
you progress through the stages, refer to
55:10
those images so that you wouldn't know
55:12
which icons you should select. Now I
55:15
have a good mind to send it
55:17
to one of my HR representatives first
55:19
and give them the opportunity to sign
55:22
off on it before you actually click
55:24
it. But in the sake of time...
55:27
I'm going to send it directly
55:29
to you because I'm about 99.99%
55:31
sure that it's exactly how you
55:33
need to answer each question in
55:35
order to get through the first
55:37
phase. People have been getting rejection
55:39
notices and those rejection notices have
55:41
been coming after 24 to 36
55:44
hours after click and submit and
55:46
I want to avoid that. So
55:48
what we're going to do is
55:50
we're going to take our time.
55:52
And we're going to make sure
55:54
that everything that we click. And
55:56
you're going to even have to
55:58
go back to your resume and
56:00
make some changes because one of
56:03
our members and I have caught
56:05
something. And we want to go
56:07
back and we want to fine-tune
56:09
those details. And I guarantee that
56:11
will give us the very best
56:13
feeling that we could ever get
56:15
in applying for this job. VRA's,
56:17
those that have received tentative offer
56:19
letters, we want you to apply
56:21
for this job anyway. messages came
56:24
back saying do not give the
56:26
agency an opportunity to say they
56:28
never gave you one so apply
56:30
for it anyway for everyone else
56:32
stand by to stand by later
56:34
on this evening when I get
56:36
home I'm going to finish those
56:38
emails and then I'm going to
56:40
go back to planning for the
56:42
Black History Month program and then
56:45
I'm going to process all new
56:47
members and Roman forms and then
56:49
I'm going to send out my
56:51
emails to the managers of the
56:53
of the FAA regional headquarters and
56:55
thinking of for my visit. And
56:57
then I'm going to get back
56:59
to handling some important business for
57:01
the VRA. So again, this is
57:03
a story that Daily Mail is
57:06
reporting exclusively and they were given
57:08
this tape. This has not been
57:10
independently confirmed by me. I will
57:12
point that out. So we want
57:14
to at least, you know, say,
57:16
you know, say. innocent until proven
57:18
guilty, right? So this is all
57:20
according to the daily mail. They
57:22
have this on the front of
57:24
their website right now and they're
57:27
alleging that this was given to
57:29
African-American minority candidates in order to
57:31
quote minimize competition and it was
57:33
done in 2014 allegedly so there
57:35
will be a lot more questions
57:37
I think concerning this and again
57:39
we don't have all the answers
57:41
right now but it is nonetheless
57:43
of some concern if you would
57:45
because it is it is critical
57:48
that we we have fairness and
57:50
this is sort of what what
57:52
I do think Donald Trump is
57:54
trying to get back to and
57:56
that you know you really want
57:58
a meritocracy a full-on meritocracy where
58:00
you're not rewarding people because of
58:02
how much melanin they have in
58:04
their skin or whether they're male
58:06
or female or whether they're in
58:09
purple hair it or trans or
58:11
gay or heterosexual or whatever right
58:13
you just want the best person
58:15
for the job and the FAA
58:17
for the job and the FAA
58:19
again has come under tremendous tremendous
58:21
pressure so we'll see how this
58:23
all shakes out but the good
58:25
news is you know we're getting
58:27
rid of DEA and we need
58:30
to get rid of DEA really
58:32
and truly it's part of the
58:34
reason I created 76 research because
58:36
you could see it even within
58:38
what stocks people were picking in
58:40
portfolios. They weren't looking at profits.
58:42
They were looking at, oh, you
58:44
know, what is the board comprised
58:46
of? And that didn't really make
58:49
any sense to me. You know,
58:51
I'm just a simple girl from
58:53
New Hampshire and, you know, we
58:55
like things like. profits when it
58:57
comes to investing. So I'm proud
58:59
of 76 research. I encourage you
59:01
guys to go there. We just
59:03
made a new ad to our
59:05
American Resilience portfolio, brand new stock
59:07
pick today. Take a look at
59:10
all of those portfolios, 10 to
59:12
15 stocks in each and 15
59:14
stocks in each and every single
59:16
one of them. Meanwhile, all of
59:18
this happening is RFK Jr. goes
59:20
after the food companies. Think about
59:22
what we're dealing with today, right?
59:24
You get the EPA. Getting rid
59:26
of all of those regulations. sent
59:28
home packing and now you get
59:31
RFK that's saying I want Americans
59:33
who have healthier food and I
59:35
want to get rid of all
59:37
these chemicals he sat down with
59:39
my former colleague Hannity for an
59:41
interview I guess Hannity admitted that
59:43
he'd been a not eating so
59:45
well ahead of the RFK junior
59:47
interview but this is important listen
59:49
to what he says about the
59:52
food chemicals and you know I
59:54
think there's some there and I
59:56
wouldn't be surprised if some of
59:58
these food companies are indeed held
1:00:00
responsible. We really appreciate it. Before
1:00:02
you got here, I already had
1:00:04
a burger, so I'm having another,
1:00:06
I'm breaking my diet. I am
1:00:08
pretty much full-long keto. basically meat
1:00:10
and eggs. I made an exception
1:00:13
today. I had it on a
1:00:15
bun and I really enjoyed it
1:00:17
actually. And it was really good.
1:00:19
Explain the difference between seed oil
1:00:21
and palo and why this is
1:00:23
a big deal. Why they said
1:00:25
we're going to RFK steak and
1:00:27
shake. You know, process foods and
1:00:29
seed oil is one of the
1:00:31
components of process foods and that
1:00:34
is, you know, all the science.
1:00:36
indicates that ultra-process foods are the
1:00:38
principal culprit. And this extraordinary explosion,
1:00:40
the epidemic we have of chronic
1:00:42
disease. What my uncle was present,
1:00:44
3% of Americans at chronic disease
1:00:46
today, 60% do. We have 66%
1:00:48
of adults are diabetic or pre-diabetic,
1:00:50
38% of teens. When you and
1:00:52
I were kids, Sean. The average
1:00:55
pediatrician would see one case of
1:00:57
juvenile diabetes in his lifetime, over
1:00:59
a 40 or 50 year career.
1:01:01
Today, one out of every three
1:01:03
kids who walks through his office
1:01:05
stores, diabetic or pre-diabetic diabetes and
1:01:07
other mitochondrial diseases are now costing
1:01:09
America more than our military budget.
1:01:11
We spent two to three times
1:01:13
on health care what other countries
1:01:16
do, and we have the worst
1:01:18
outcomes, and we have the best
1:01:20
medical system in the world. We
1:01:22
are poising ourselves. You know, he's
1:01:24
on to something. And I'm just
1:01:26
going to say, you know, why
1:01:28
is it that you go to
1:01:30
Europe, okay? I was in Europe
1:01:32
last summer, actually spent a lot
1:01:35
of time in Ireland, so I
1:01:37
do have some thoughts on Rosie
1:01:39
O'Donnell. We're going to get to
1:01:41
that in a second. But, you
1:01:43
know, why is it that no
1:01:45
matter where you go in Ireland
1:01:47
or anywhere in Europe, Italy, Portugal,
1:01:49
you know, whatever, like, like, Everything
1:01:51
is really good. And I think
1:01:53
it comes down to the food
1:01:56
sourcing, right? They don't have all
1:01:58
the preservatives and the chemicals that
1:02:00
we have in. our food companies
1:02:02
here. And so yeah, it tastes
1:02:04
better. And then you have to
1:02:06
ask yourself, like, what are those
1:02:08
chemicals doing to us? Well, he
1:02:10
is not making a lot of
1:02:12
friends, shall we say? I mean,
1:02:14
RFK Jr. They didn't want them
1:02:17
there in the first place. You
1:02:19
know, I know it. And you
1:02:21
know, whether it's the food companies
1:02:23
or whether it's the health insurance
1:02:25
companies or whether it's big farmer,
1:02:27
they're all livid that he's there.
1:02:29
Pushing back, pushing back, it's one
1:02:31
of the biggest lobbying groups you
1:02:33
have. They've raised prices on over
1:02:35
575 drugs. It's amazing. Brand name
1:02:38
drugs. In the month of January
1:02:40
alone, okay, that was just January.
1:02:42
And they were out there trying
1:02:44
to block all this competition, spending
1:02:46
millions of dollars to do so,
1:02:48
right? You think about all the
1:02:50
ads that you're served for all
1:02:52
these medicines. They'll work on their
1:02:54
marketing, and they'll work on their
1:02:56
lobbying, and they'll work on their
1:02:59
lobbying. But what about reducing the
1:03:01
price of these drugs for people?
1:03:03
Well, they're pressuring Congress, as we
1:03:05
speak, to implement mandates. Mandates that
1:03:07
would undermine the one real check
1:03:09
against drug companies that we have,
1:03:11
and the one way that people
1:03:13
can actually put some market-based incentives
1:03:15
into... play to help their employers
1:03:17
and help families save on prescriptions
1:03:20
and health care costs and even
1:03:22
words. Big Farmer wants to strip
1:03:24
American employees of their freedom to
1:03:26
choose their health benefits. that work
1:03:28
best for them. It's just unbelievable.
1:03:30
These proposals, I'll tell you, they
1:03:32
could hand Big Pharma a lot
1:03:34
of money. A lot of money.
1:03:36
We're talking about somewhere around $32
1:03:38
billion all at the expense of
1:03:41
American employers and families. So this
1:03:43
is why I think you've got
1:03:45
to pay attention to this stuff
1:03:47
right now. Conservatives for lower health
1:03:49
care is all over this. I'm
1:03:51
just going to give them a
1:03:53
shout out because I encourage you
1:03:55
to go and just learn a
1:03:57
little bit more about it. Farm
1:03:59
of Winfall.com, they want letters to
1:04:02
Congress, they want you to make
1:04:04
a difference if you can in
1:04:06
your local community because listen, I
1:04:08
think RFK Jr. is going to
1:04:10
do a lot but he's going
1:04:12
to need some support and that
1:04:14
grass... support is really the game
1:04:16
changer so go check them out
1:04:18
pharma windfall.com all right I promised
1:04:21
we would talk about Rosie O'Donnell
1:04:23
moving to my homeland I don't
1:04:25
know I don't know she's moving
1:04:27
to Ireland guys right ahead of
1:04:29
St. Patrick's Day I'm planning to
1:04:31
spend some more time there this
1:04:33
summer my family is originally from
1:04:35
there actually from a very small
1:04:37
region in the southeastern part of
1:04:39
Ireland called Ring, and they still
1:04:42
speak Gaelic there. You know, it's
1:04:44
really amazing. They actually teach math
1:04:46
and history and everything. The only
1:04:48
thing they teach in English in
1:04:50
this little town is English. So
1:04:52
they're very proud of their heritage.
1:04:54
They're very proud of their culture.
1:04:56
And now, Rosie's in on the
1:04:58
act. I don't think she's near
1:05:00
my family, but here she is,
1:05:03
saying she has moved to Ireland
1:05:05
and she loves it. I don't
1:05:07
disagree with her. warmest place that
1:05:09
people are extraordinary it's wonderful you
1:05:11
know what they've had a ton
1:05:13
of economic success because they made
1:05:15
a lot of right decisions policy
1:05:17
wise when they had the chance
1:05:19
anyway now they get rosy well
1:05:21
hey everybody it's me rosy o'Donnell
1:05:24
star the Flynn stones it's Tuesday
1:05:26
all days my nana would say
1:05:28
and I'm here in Ireland and
1:05:30
it's beautiful and warm Not physically,
1:05:32
it's actually quite cold. Move to
1:05:34
you on January 15th and it's
1:05:36
been pretty wonderful, I have to
1:05:38
say. The people are so loving
1:05:40
and so kind, so welcoming and
1:05:42
I'm very grateful in the process
1:05:45
of getting my Irish citizenship as
1:05:47
I have Irish grandparents. That's
1:05:49
what's going on and that's where
1:05:51
I've been and what I've been
1:05:53
doing and Although I was Never
1:05:55
someone who thought I would move
1:05:57
to another country That's what I
1:06:00
decided would be the best for
1:06:02
myself and my 12-year-old child. And
1:06:04
here we are. Here we are.
1:06:06
So Chicktock has gotten a little
1:06:08
bit dark and negative for me.
1:06:10
I don't feel capable of... going
1:06:12
through the hate that comes through
1:06:14
and I'm trying sub-stack and I
1:06:16
think I like it there now
1:06:18
it's hard to learn if the
1:06:20
sub-stack blah blah blah blah she's
1:06:22
gonna promote her products but she
1:06:24
has descended upon Ireland it's funny
1:06:26
because the head of Ireland was
1:06:28
visiting the White House today and
1:06:30
you got asked kind of an
1:06:32
amusing question somebody it's hard to
1:06:34
hear you might have to turn
1:06:36
up the volume but the person
1:06:38
said you know Ireland's such a
1:06:40
great place with so many happy
1:06:42
people. How on earth did you
1:06:45
let Rosie O'Donnell in? And the
1:06:47
funny thing is, is that the
1:06:49
guy who runs Ireland had no
1:06:51
clue who Rosie was and Trump
1:06:53
handled this quite beautifully. I want
1:06:55
you to see. Ireland is known
1:06:57
for very happy, fun-loving people, great
1:06:59
out to many in this room
1:07:01
right now that I've met. Why
1:07:03
in the world would you let
1:07:05
Rosie O'Donnell move to Ireland? I
1:07:07
think you're going to lower your
1:07:09
happiness. You know who she is?
1:07:11
You know who she is? You
1:07:13
better off not knowing. You're better
1:07:15
off not knowing. You're better off
1:07:17
not knowing. Very, very interesting sort
1:07:19
of reaction. And he thinks quick
1:07:21
on his feet, right? He kind
1:07:23
of saved his... his colleague there
1:07:25
the head of Ireland from any
1:07:27
embarrassment and was able to be
1:07:30
quite nimble with that. Anyway, so
1:07:32
yeah, she's gone to Ireland. You
1:07:34
can do that. You know, if
1:07:36
you have a grandparent that is
1:07:38
from Ireland, you can get an
1:07:40
Irish passport, which is kind of
1:07:42
cool. All that said, you know,
1:07:44
Ireland is facing... its own challenges.
1:07:46
I've talked about this before, but
1:07:48
think about how the UK has
1:07:50
allowed all this migration, right, into
1:07:52
into The UK, and it's actually
1:07:54
a big part of what Brexit
1:07:56
was, you know, voters are very
1:07:58
angry, you're seeing a failure of
1:08:00
their ability to integrate, and immigration
1:08:02
has become a huge deal over
1:08:04
there, much like it has here.
1:08:06
And then you've got Ireland, which
1:08:08
had been sort of protected from
1:08:10
that. times myself, you can just
1:08:12
go right through the border and
1:08:14
then you're part of southern Ireland.
1:08:17
And so the demographics are changing.
1:08:19
For example, when I was in
1:08:21
Belfast, I saw a lot of
1:08:23
women in the full-on hajibes and
1:08:25
that was sort of surprising, right,
1:08:27
because it's Ireland. And I was
1:08:29
just sort of taken back by
1:08:31
the... tremendous diversity that they had
1:08:33
in the population, certainly in Northern
1:08:35
Ireland. And then as you went
1:08:37
to Dublin, again, you saw it
1:08:39
in Dublin, it's different in the
1:08:41
countryside and where I'm from, it's
1:08:43
a very different kind of feel
1:08:45
than you see in those big
1:08:47
cities, but the cities now are
1:08:49
changing. And there are a lot
1:08:51
of people in Ireland are absolutely
1:08:53
fine with that. There are a
1:08:55
lot of people though that are
1:08:57
very concerned that they're going to
1:08:59
lose their Irish traditions. and that
1:09:02
they're going to lose their Irish
1:09:04
way of life. There was a
1:09:06
mother who spoke out about this
1:09:08
most recently. I want to show
1:09:10
you a quick clip of her
1:09:12
because she really hit the nail
1:09:14
on the head. She said, look,
1:09:16
I live in Dublin. and my
1:09:18
child's life is so different in
1:09:20
Dublin now because of the demographic
1:09:22
that is shifting and like for
1:09:24
a culture that cares so much
1:09:26
about its identity and they do
1:09:28
because listen you know the British
1:09:30
came in and they wouldn't allow
1:09:32
them to speak Irish so when
1:09:34
you see these small communities like
1:09:36
the one I'm from where they're
1:09:38
still speaking Irish today it's because
1:09:40
they want to make sure that
1:09:42
their traditions and their cultures are
1:09:44
observed. and cherished for the future
1:09:47
and she's telling the people in
1:09:49
the countryside look it's all changing
1:09:51
it's changed in Dublin it's going
1:09:53
to change for you and I
1:09:55
find this interesting because it really
1:09:57
suggests to me that you know
1:09:59
what Ireland much like the US
1:10:01
much like other places is facing
1:10:03
a very similar challenge. It's not
1:10:05
just the Rosie O'Donnell's they're getting,
1:10:07
right? They're really trying to hold
1:10:09
on to their culture and there's
1:10:11
some fear that they may not
1:10:13
be able to in this sort
1:10:15
of brave new world. Let's listen
1:10:17
to them on. I'm from Dublin,
1:10:19
but I come to Mayo every
1:10:21
weekend, but I wanted to talk
1:10:23
about what the situation is like
1:10:25
where I live, because you have
1:10:27
not seen what... with coming yet
1:10:29
and I have where I live
1:10:31
is about 85% foreign nationals. I
1:10:34
can walk down the street on
1:10:36
any given day, walk into the
1:10:38
supermarket and I don't hear an
1:10:40
Irish conversation. I hear foreign people
1:10:42
everywhere. My child is one of
1:10:44
30 children in her class and
1:10:46
she's the only Irish child. She
1:10:48
came home crying from school a
1:10:50
few weeks ago because she doesn't
1:10:52
understand what any of her friends
1:10:54
are saying. The children revert back
1:10:56
to their own languages when they're
1:10:58
not being taught. She literally cannot
1:11:00
understand the conversations around her. But
1:11:02
when Halloween came around there a
1:11:04
few months ago, last year she
1:11:06
was allowed to dress up. Sorry,
1:11:08
the year before last she was
1:11:10
allowed to dress up. This year
1:11:12
she wasn't allowed to dress up.
1:11:14
And when I asked school why,
1:11:16
they said they didn't want to
1:11:19
offend people. But I don't go
1:11:21
for a walk around the park
1:11:23
during the day with my child
1:11:25
anymore. I have a big dog
1:11:27
and I don't go for a
1:11:29
walk by myself anymore. I very
1:11:31
rarely leave my house because where
1:11:33
I live is so unsafe. And
1:11:35
that is the reality that you're
1:11:37
facing if you don't make a
1:11:39
stand. And I understand it's really
1:11:41
really hard to... you know, be
1:11:43
called names and all of these
1:11:45
things. But you have to stand
1:11:47
up on behalf of your children
1:11:49
and the future of the country.
1:11:51
The country's going to, the landscape
1:11:53
of this country is changing completely.
1:11:55
And if you're okay with that,
1:11:57
fine. I'm not okay with that.
1:11:59
I'm not okay with that for
1:12:01
my child. Please, please put your
1:12:04
children forth and your country forth
1:12:06
and just don't care what anyone
1:12:08
else thinks. So, I mean, it's
1:12:10
a message that, you know, if
1:12:12
you think about it, guys, we
1:12:14
have heard before, right? We have
1:12:16
heard that message over and over
1:12:18
again here in the US. We've
1:12:20
heard that message in the UK.
1:12:22
We've heard that message in Germany,
1:12:24
and now you're starting to hear
1:12:26
that in Ireland. And so, I
1:12:28
think it's, you know, it... People
1:12:30
are pushing back against this in
1:12:32
a pretty massive way, I think,
1:12:34
because we love who we are
1:12:36
as Americans, the Irish love who
1:12:38
they are, as Irish, the Brits
1:12:40
love who they are, and you
1:12:42
know what? You ought to be
1:12:44
able to love who you are
1:12:46
in your home country, and you
1:12:48
shouldn't have to change, right? Because
1:12:51
another culture comes in and demands
1:12:53
that you change. you are as
1:12:55
an American American first right and
1:12:57
I say that as an Irish
1:12:59
American who by the way appreciates
1:13:01
very much that Donald Trump just
1:13:03
made all of March Irish Heritage
1:13:05
Month how do you like that
1:13:07
I should be wearing green every
1:13:09
day right I'm looking forward to
1:13:11
St. Patrick's Day I have an
1:13:13
Irish step dancer in the family
1:13:15
so I'm sure we'll get quite
1:13:17
a show from her anyway lots
1:13:19
of parades lots of parades you
1:13:21
know it's prime prime season anyway
1:13:23
it's so good to have you
1:13:25
here it is good to see
1:13:27
so many new names too many
1:13:29
new names too as I look
1:13:31
at the to the program and
1:13:33
hit the bell because I have
1:13:36
yet to adhere to an exact
1:13:38
same time for the show every
1:13:40
day but if you hit the
1:13:42
bell you know exactly when I'm
1:13:44
going to be on you'll get
1:13:46
the notice it is great to
1:13:48
see so many familiar faces some
1:13:50
new ones I'll see you back
1:13:52
here again tomorrow
