Have you ever met someone who lights up the room when they walk in?  I have and her name is Leslie Stose!  For those of you who know Leslie, you know what I’m talking about.  Not only does she always have a smile on her face but she’s always happy to see you, plus she always looks put together!

Leslie does so much great work in her community- she’s the Events and Development Director at Pink Lemonade Project and co-owner and a Glam Barbie at Glam Beauty Bar, both of which are located in Vancouver.

Pink Lemonade Project

If you know someone who’s been affected by breast cancer, please check out Pink Lemonade Project.  So much great work and support is coming from this organization.  And make sure you get your PINK CART, a super cute curb-side recycling bin, to help raise funds.  Seriously, taking out your trash has never been more fashionable.  To support and find our more about the Pink Lemonade Project, click here.

Glam Beauty Bar

If you are in need of some pampering, check out Leslie’s other day job, Glam Beauty Bar.  Making women feel fabulous since last year, it’s a must stop downtown Vancouver.  It’s super cool to me because my moms family used to own Sparks Furniture. So when I get a spray tan down at Glam Beauty Bar, I am standing in the dining set area where I used to play with my cousin when I was little.  Get a blow out, spray tan, some make up, and enjoy a glass of Champagne!  Check it out here!

Wines we tasted- duh, PINK WINES!

Poderi Morini Centesimino (Italy) $16

This  dry spumante style wine from Italy made from the Centesimino grape is a gorgeous hue of soft pink.  It’s made in the Charmant method which means that its second fermentation is done in a tank rather than in bottle like traditional Champagne.  It’s delicious and goes down smooth. PERFECT FOR VALENTINES DAY!

Marc Plouzeau Chinon Rosé (France) $14.00

From the Loire Valley in France, this Rosé is all Cabernet Franc.  It’s delicious, super dry with subtle hints of strawberry and herbs.  When drinking it might take you to a happy place like sunset in the summer! A great wine for food.

Kitzke Cellars Rosé of Nebbiolo (Washington) $25

Kitzke is a boutique winery in Richland, Wa near the Red Mountain AVA.  Nebbiolo is the grape famous for Barolo’s and Barbaresco’s in Italy and this wine doesn’t disappoint.  It’s tannic and tart which is different than many rosé’s.  This is a great winery to visit if wine tasting in the Red Mountain area.
