Geoffrey Notkin is an American actor, author, and entrepreneur.

Host

Tariq is the Editor-in-Chief of Space.com and joined the team in 2001, first as an intern and staff writer, and later as an editor. He covers human spaceflight, exploration and space science, as well as skywatching and entertainment. He became Space.com's Managing Editor in 2009 and Editor-in-Chief in 2019. Before joining Space.com, Tariq was a staff reporter for The Los Angeles Times covering education and city beats in La Habra, Fullerton and Huntington Beach. He is also an Eagle Scout (yes, he has the Space Exploration merit badge) and went to Space Camp four times as a kid and a fifth time as an adult. He has journalism degrees from the University of Southern California and New York University.

Rod Pyle is an author, journalist, television producer and Editor-in-Chief of Ad Astra magazine. He has written 18 books on space history, exploration, and development, including Space 2.0, Innovation the NASA Way, Interplanetary Robots, Blueprint for a Battlestar, Amazing Stories of the Space Age, First On the Moon, and Destination Mars. His most recent book is Technology Highlights 2021 for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has written extensively for JPL, Caltech, WIRED, Popular Science, Space.com, LiveScience, the World Economic Forum, and the Library of Congress. Pyle co-developed the Apollo Leadership Experience for NASA's Johnson Space Center and has produced, directed, and written for The History Channel and Discovery Networks, as well as consulting on space for National Geographic TV and Disney+. He is a frequent guest on national radio and television on space-related topics.In a previous life, Rod produced numerous documentaries and short films for The History Channel, Discovery Communications, and Disney. He also worked in visual effects on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the Battlestar Galactica reboot, as well as various sci-fi TV pilots. His most recent TV credit was with the NatGeo documentary on Tom Wolfe's iconic book The Right Stuff.
