Hey everybody and
0:02
welcome back to
0:04
the podcast. This
0:07
is episode number
0:10
143 the end of
0:12
your survey. That number
0:14
is getting really
0:17
high. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
0:19
getting really high. Mm -hmm.
0:21
Yeah. We're doing this Mm-hmm.
0:23
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
0:25
Mm-hmm. Hard to sound, I'm used to
0:27
you sounding like this sounding
0:30
been sick We have weeks now. long
0:32
time. three for not pushing out
0:34
this pod on Tuesday. pot on
0:36
We've been sick. been got a
0:38
concussion a concussion yesterday. Yeah. You're
0:41
a Yeah, I had a
0:43
really big bike accident had a really
0:45
over my handlebars I flipped over my
0:47
my old noggin. bumped my old noggin.
0:49
on top of having top of
0:52
weeks COVID two weeks. When it
0:54
rains. Yeah, I saw as
0:56
I was like I was
0:58
like... relaxing
1:01
the accident. I I was on
1:03
Instagram there there was an ad
1:05
saying, you you ever that that you
1:07
got sick or had a
1:09
light accident could could take a
1:11
break? was like some burnout ad. I'm I'm like,
1:13
that's, I no, I actually had
1:15
both of those things happen and
1:17
they both sucked. So this ad is is
1:19
not targeted. correctly. This is is gonna
1:21
sound weird, but I've kind of
1:23
almost enjoyed this episode of of COVID. Why?
1:25
COVID, it's like a story. it's like a
1:28
story. I think I've said this
1:30
to you, because I've been meditating
1:32
lots through this COVID and it's it's
1:34
tough to meditate and focus on
1:36
your breathing when when, you you're all
1:38
congested and stuff. and stuff. But
1:40
I found this COVID, it's been
1:43
terrible by lot lot of measures,
1:45
But but it's kind of
1:47
like a story in another
1:49
way, way, like the symptoms, like there's a period
1:51
of a period of fatigue
1:53
that lasts a week. And then
1:55
there's congestion that lasts another
1:58
week. there's this lasts... So
2:00
you don't know know what's the
2:02
the corner. It's a a
2:04
surprise. I don't know. I had it don't
2:06
know, I had it six months ago,
2:08
and the trajectory has been the
2:10
exact same as last time, so time.
2:12
have not enjoyed it. This time This
2:15
not a was not a but we are But
2:17
think? I think, on the other side.
2:19
I don't know. the last two
2:21
months has been like such a
2:23
debacle for me me between the severely sprained
2:25
ankle, ankle, the a and now
2:28
a concussion body my whole body
2:30
hurts. I woke up this morning,
2:32
realized, oh, you you know, when you
2:34
flip yourself over your bike,
2:36
it's not just your head that
2:38
hurts. It's like your whole It's
2:40
like your whole body And I'm like to
2:42
in bruises. covered in bruises. So. I'm I'm very
2:44
happy for it to be the end of the year. At least it
2:46
happened. at a good time. At know it
2:48
happened at I think of when I
2:50
get really sick of when I get really sick
2:53
He's a Buddhist monk, Ajahn Brahm.
2:55
a And he has so many
2:57
talks on and they're all an
2:59
hour long, so talks not going to
3:01
find the exact one to link
3:03
long, if you search for Ajahn
3:05
Brahm the exact he said one thing, if
3:07
was counseling somebody who was really
3:09
sick, who was in the hospital.
3:11
Everything was kind of not going
3:14
right by a lot of measures
3:16
for them. for he described
3:18
saying to this person, person,
3:20
if you, day is going
3:22
terrible, it's helpful
3:24
to see your day, not
3:26
as a tragedy, but as
3:28
a comedy. I've And so to
3:30
started to of of take
3:32
that frame for this COVID
3:35
episode, for you know all this stuff that's
3:37
going on with you with you
3:39
that for know, thankfully we're out
3:41
on the other side of,
3:43
but that reframe is so,
3:45
I think, helpful. There's There's
3:47
always another angle around
3:49
the corner to see the
3:51
corner to see situation from
3:53
a different perspective. I
3:55
mean I've I I don't actually
3:57
feel like like this all this debacle stuff is
4:00
been that negative. It's actually been like, I
4:02
have really just found it mostly funny
4:04
that it's all that a But
4:06
yeah, so we're on the other side. And now we're a
4:08
daily late. Sorry folks. You know it's
4:10
not funny though. What?
4:13
Surveys. Wow, what
4:15
a transition. Very serious. you do
4:17
surveys for a living I do. Basically, right?
4:19
When I gave you comments on your survey, were like
4:21
wow, this that's a lot of comments. I'm like,
4:23
this is literally what I do for a living. Yeah,
4:25
you give feedback on surveys. That
4:27
is not exactly what I do for a
4:30
living, But but yes, surveys are a
4:32
big part of evaluations, which is what I
4:34
do Aren't you a pollster of some kind?
4:36
definitely not a poor pollster, but I do
4:39
know an awful lot about surveys. Yes. Yeah
4:41
So you just put out a survey on
4:43
productivity curiosity. And we thought this would be
4:45
fun to kind of talk about because it's
4:47
also a nice way to wrap up the
4:49
year where we can talk think about a want
4:51
to do a little reflection about
4:53
what we're curious about with productivity, and
4:55
also nudge people who are listening
4:58
to go take this curiosity survey, because
5:00
it's mostly just like a fun
5:02
self -reflect best exercise. In a
5:04
way, yeah, I guess It like two
5:06
minutes So are you, why did you put
5:08
survey? Let's start with that one. Well, Have
5:10
you ever done like a zoom talk for
5:12
people? And you know, you're presenting
5:14
and it's like you're staring into the
5:16
abyss. I literally
5:18
teach over Zoom. Yeah, sometimes it's
5:21
like. And you think, like, is
5:23
anybody on the other side here? If
5:25
if I were to walk away from
5:27
this Zoom call, what would realistically happen
5:29
here? Do you ever have this feeling? Oh,
5:32
yeah, it's the best, not the best,
5:34
it's a little sad. But this used
5:36
to happen when I taught bigger classes
5:38
at Queens. not where I'm teaching now.
5:40
But at my older, where I used
5:42
to teach, and we'd have classes of
5:44
like people over Zoom during COVID. And
5:46
you'd say, all right, everybody, have a
5:48
great day. End of class. And then
5:50
you see everybody leave, and there's always
5:52
like. eight black boxes, but don't leave
5:54
because they have obviously left, which
5:56
is it always made me laugh a
5:58
little bit because those people have
6:00
clearly left the the chat but just
6:03
went off video and didn't let
6:05
you know. let you know. Yeah, yeah. So that's
6:07
sometimes, not not all the time I
6:09
get, you you know, I, because I create content
6:11
I create content outside of
6:13
this podcast, obviously the the website,
6:16
for the newsletter, for all these
6:18
different places. places. The content goes out
6:20
to a lot of people. a
6:22
lot of a lot of times people
6:24
say, oh, and people say, Oh,
6:26
thank you for the art. You
6:28
know, there's nice feedback that
6:31
comes back. back. And it's nice to get
6:33
nice to get that feedback, I
6:35
but I always am I going
6:37
in the right going in
6:39
the right direction is what I
6:41
what I am covering
6:43
the best most helpful possible
6:46
thing that I could
6:48
be focusing on. on? I'm happy
6:50
with everything I'm making
6:52
and I'm making, but online stuff, stuff,
6:54
like, not to get. all business and stuff.
6:56
But my whole whole philosophy with
6:59
creating stuff online is that
7:01
it's for the benefit of
7:03
readers, of listeners, of viewers,
7:05
of people that are soaking
7:07
in this content and hopefully and
7:09
action upon it. I like
7:11
to make money through the
7:13
books that I write that
7:15
the speaking that I do. that
7:18
I do. Try not to make
7:20
any money from online stuff.
7:22
know, know there's Amazon links links because
7:24
referral revenue helps pay for
7:26
the newsletter and like that, that
7:28
but but and there no ads
7:30
on the ads on There's no
7:32
ads on the website. no ads
7:34
nothing like that because my
7:36
goal is to really just
7:38
create helpful things. things that's true
7:40
for the paid stuff too.
7:42
the paid stuff too, but I don't
7:44
think somebody should have
7:46
to pay money to, to to,
7:48
know, get help with
7:50
productivity stuff or stuff or or
7:52
these kinds of ideas. of ideas.
7:54
So, whole intention, you know,
7:56
if the podcast is about
7:58
intentionality with survey. is to really
8:00
make sure what I'm planning for
8:02
the new year is aligned to
8:04
what people are interested in and what
8:06
what they want to get out
8:09
of my work. Cause this is
8:11
really like this two way relationship
8:13
in a way where sometimes it
8:15
does feel like I'm writing into
8:17
that Zoom call call it's like, okay, you
8:19
know, you know, thanks for the
8:21
feedback guys, but is this the best
8:23
possible thing in the first place?
8:25
the first so I want to really,
8:27
really really for that in the
8:29
new year. Find the right direction,
8:31
find the right approach. approach. And you
8:33
take this survey, I will
8:35
personally read your responses. It won't
8:37
take you very long. Most of
8:40
them are like of them are like those
8:42
and stuff, but there are
8:44
a few text ones that I'm
8:46
reading every single response to. response
8:49
just it's just valuable,
8:52
valuable. valuable feedback that
8:54
I'm grateful if you
8:56
consider it. consider
8:58
it. Yeah, link is in the show show is
9:00
in the show notes. or in you show notes.
9:03
Or figure out show notes for some
9:05
reason. I think people some of have that
9:07
down by now, but you can also
9:09
go to of .com slash down by now. But
9:11
you could nice tidy
9:13
little Chris Bailey.com slash survey.
9:15
Ooh, nice tidy little URL.
9:18
Yeah. Those are the survey.
9:20
Those are the three Google? You
9:22
could Google it. Yeah. Google? You
9:24
could Google it too. Yeah. Maybe,
9:26
maybe. Oh, and I'm and I'm giving away
9:28
three, three books to three random three books
9:30
to three if people who take it,
9:32
if you you were going to you
9:35
were going to answer, the first question
9:37
in your survey is about why people
9:39
want to become more productive. And this is, I
9:41
think like, is useful for me to think
9:43
about to do I care about this
9:45
stuff. about this How would you answer
9:47
this question? I'm curious, I'm
9:49
motivates you? you? Chris Bailey to
9:51
become more productive. Like why do
9:53
you, why do you care about
9:55
this? this? Two, I think, I
9:57
think, fundamental Well, there's a a bunch
9:59
of different reasons, but but this is
10:01
is actually an interesting question
10:04
because I think what drives
10:06
a a lot of people to want, I don't
10:08
want to, you know, anchor people's answers in
10:10
one way or another as well. as well, but
10:12
I think what what drives a lot of people
10:14
to become more productive is
10:16
accomplishment. you know, accomplishing
10:18
more, acquiring more, you know
10:20
know, status, money, recognition,
10:23
whatever traditional traditional you
10:25
want to you want at.
10:27
In that to survey that
10:29
we've talked about on
10:31
previous episodes, previous episodes the
10:33
theory of values, the
10:35
kind of kind of most
10:37
validated The the instrument for measuring
10:39
what we value. Accomplishment
10:41
is kind of a is value
10:43
of mind. It's not really
10:45
high up on the list,
10:47
but what up on the self but
10:49
what is, so going my own
10:51
way to really accomplish the
10:53
things that I wanna do
10:55
things that well as, do, as well
10:57
values of the values is hedonism. Yeah, it has
10:59
an an unfortunate
11:01
name, but essentially
11:03
it just means means pleasure.
11:06
Cences pleasure. And you know, that's great
11:08
food. great food, that's
11:10
a great bath, all
11:12
the stuff that is... all
11:14
the stuff that is... And
11:16
so mine is really so those really
11:18
centered around those two. and
11:20
creating the and creating the
11:23
conditions to just enjoy life
11:25
and have more time and
11:27
energy and attention to... to
11:29
enjoy life as well as well as
11:31
to be able to go and
11:33
own way is sustainable in a
11:35
way that is sustainable and
11:37
contributes to Hence the people Yeah.
11:39
Yeah. What about you? You
11:41
survey both have that accomplishment and
11:43
I both have that accomplishment I mean we
11:46
both those of core I mean we
11:48
both did those values surveys was something I
11:50
something I really valued so in and
11:52
of itself like I just value value.
11:54
accomplishment. that's like a big motivator
11:56
to be more productive, so you can So you
11:58
can like complete things. Right so that's a big
12:00
a big motivator for me. And I
12:02
know that like I, I I really thrive
12:04
when I have like pressure to done There's done.
12:07
there's no right or no right or wrong value. I
12:09
mean like when a mean like is the value
12:11
is like really something central to that is
12:13
core or central to you. you that so I resonates
12:15
with you. So I think that's hear interesting thing
12:17
when you hear people talk about values. a If
12:19
it isn't a core value for you, it might
12:21
not totally see the with how you see the
12:23
world. You said it was core for me. for me Oh, sorry.
12:25
Sorry. Not core for you. for you,
12:27
my bad. concussion. concussion, let's just
12:30
on that. Chalk it up. Concussion, COVID,
12:32
etc. But that was, that is a core is a
12:34
core value for me is it's So, but one
12:36
of the other one of the other big ones
12:38
and this is something I'm after reading reading
12:40
your book, I've I have been thinking about
12:43
this in my work a lot. book
12:45
that's not that's not out yet. Yes. it a little
12:47
preview a what this book has made me
12:49
think about in my own life about in my
12:51
own. How I like I really really value the of
12:53
the one of the core values is is And
12:56
just if you are curious,
12:58
we talked about the core values
13:00
in core values in sources of motivation.
13:02
motivation in that episode, and in in
13:04
general, if you do like any
13:06
kind of kind of one of the
13:08
other values is is which is
13:10
just a word I just hate. hate
13:12
but it really just it's it's like, you have
13:15
a kind of preference for novelty,
13:17
essentially. And knowing that about
13:19
myself, I can use that in
13:21
a more productive way, it can because it
13:23
can just be like, you can
13:25
end up being overwhelmed, and I think
13:27
that's I'm constantly I'm constantly mindful of is not
13:29
just like filling my days to the brim
13:32
because I will kind of lean towards that. that.
13:34
But one thing I'm one thing I'm finding
13:36
is in my work in that in my work in
13:38
that I have a lot of different
13:40
projects going on at any given time,
13:42
I'm but something I'm is finding is more
13:44
more productive and more efficient about how
13:46
I work on projects allows me to of
13:49
like finish projects more quickly so I I can
13:51
move to to the next one, which
13:53
I'm finding of at kind of inflection point
13:55
with some of my research projects right
13:57
now where like some of the some of the stuff that was
13:59
kind of like and with my dissertation is kind of wrapping
14:01
up and I'm kind of pivoting to like
14:03
bigger projects and more exciting projects where I'm
14:05
kind of like launching into bigger stuff now
14:07
and that's really exciting for me. So a
14:09
big motivator for my work right now is
14:11
that I'm able to like if I'm the
14:13
more productive I am the like more I
14:15
can lean into these like bigger projects and
14:17
so I'm finding that actually really motivating because
14:19
it's kind of filling that core value of
14:21
mine. But also, simulation becomes the reward. Yeah,
14:23
like that's the, if I'm like more productive
14:25
in my work, I get to do more
14:27
really exciting work. Like that's the amazing thing
14:30
about the work I do. I get to
14:32
just constantly be exploring and curious about like
14:34
new questions, right? Like that's the nature of
14:36
research is asking really interesting and new questions.
14:38
And so I'm very lucky in that I
14:40
can. like really focus my work and anchor
14:42
it around this idea of like if I
14:44
finish this project I get to work on
14:46
new projects like that's amazing so and it's
14:48
like such such a cool essential value for
14:50
myself. That's amazing to you because you love
14:52
your work. Yeah. Oh and I'm so fortunate
14:54
right like I there is not a day
14:56
that goes by where I'm not like so
14:58
super grateful for the work that I get
15:00
to do. Yeah same like every single day
15:02
I'm grateful I'm grateful that I've found myself
15:04
in the in the in the career that
15:06
I am. Same. And there is those values
15:08
of benevolence and universalism that we both have
15:10
too. Which, you know, is about contributing to
15:12
other people. It's probably what led you to
15:14
become a development economist. It's, I don't know,
15:16
I feel it's kind of why I do
15:18
what I do online too. So I just
15:20
feel like a grateful mofo every day. Can
15:22
I say that? on family. It stands for
15:24
mother father. No, it doesn't. But the like
15:26
benevolence piece is also and I was going
15:28
to get to this is like that's a
15:30
huge huge motivator for me. I think that
15:32
was the biggest motivator for like value of
15:34
mine when I did the values test is
15:36
this universalism. Value and like. I
15:38
can see that directly
15:40
in my work when
15:42
I feel like my
15:44
work has some kind
15:46
of bigger purpose or
15:48
it affects, like has
15:50
the potential to have
15:52
a much bigger impact
15:54
in the world, which
15:56
I mean, it is
15:58
actually true. work in
16:00
like education and health.
16:02
So it's not very
16:04
hard for me to
16:06
draw those lines in
16:08
my research, but also
16:10
in my teaching. Like
16:12
I'm really, I find
16:14
that really valuable. And
16:16
so it's very motivating
16:18
to be really productive
16:20
in those areas. Yes, so
16:23
that is what the first
16:25
question is getting to. We
16:27
won't spoil the rest of
16:29
the survey, as if it's
16:31
interesting. I think people find
16:33
it interesting. think it's interesting.
16:35
A nice reflection to close
16:37
the year. And so what
16:39
else? So wanted to cover kind
16:41
of two things today. chrisbailey
16:44
com/survey or Check
16:46
out the show notes, that's the
16:49
first one. Wanted to chat about the
16:51
survey. But we also wanna share
16:53
how we're ringing in the new year
16:55
this year. Yeah. Or
16:58
the the current one Yeah.
17:01
So I'm in a weird place because - I
17:03
had a bit of an accident. So
17:05
there's been like a, that kind of
17:07
precipitated me thinking, oh, I guess I'm
17:09
gonna call it the of the
17:11
year a little bit early. So I'm
17:14
wrapping up the year by more
17:16
intentionally disconnecting from screens too, because,
17:18
you know, a little bit of, uh,
17:20
that's a A bit of
17:22
a recommendation when you have a little bit of
17:24
a concussion. What do they say
17:26
about podcasting? You know, it didn't come up in
17:28
the description of what to do when you have
17:30
a concussion. It's not on the standard form. It
17:32
is not. But basically, I'm just
17:34
taking this as an opportunity to
17:37
unwind a little bit earlier before
17:39
the holidays. And I'm also focusing
17:41
on like stuff for the next
17:43
week or so we're going to
17:45
go visit your family I might
17:47
I'm going to start running this
17:49
weekend. Hey. For the first
17:51
time. First time since the ankle sprain.
17:53
so that'll be very exciting. was
17:55
like months ago Two and a half
17:57
months, yeah. It It was summer. Yeah. No,
18:00
it was. Thanksgiving, but it
18:02
was Canadian Thanksgiving October. Yeah.
18:04
So I'm going start running this weekend,
18:06
which I'm very excited about. I
18:09
am going to do a little crocheting. and I
18:11
read some books. I'm reading a Jane Austen novel
18:13
right now, which is just lovely. Mansfield Park,
18:15
I think it's the only one I haven't read.
18:17
So it's uh, yeah. Well, I
18:19
know it's the only one I haven't read,
18:21
so I'm just focusing on some analog. habits
18:25
right now. Love it before
18:27
Before head to Thunder Bay. Yes.
18:30
Well, my reason, I think this
18:32
is kind of connected with that
18:34
first question, which was why I'm
18:36
so happy you brought that up.
18:38
Like Like, what is your reason
18:40
for becoming more productive? Because this
18:42
is the time of the year. to
18:45
step back from productivity, from
18:47
caring about all this stuff, the
18:49
things that you have to
18:51
do related to, maybe some
18:53
people have to work over the
18:56
holidays, in which case, hopefully
18:58
you enjoy your work. Um,
19:00
But to me, it's really,
19:02
you know, to have more time
19:04
and energy and attention to
19:06
enjoy life. And so I
19:08
am like you, I felt like
19:10
like with that there something.
19:13
Um, Everybody gets a
19:15
car. Oh, yes. yeah, Yeah.
19:17
Yeah. wait, wait to
19:19
the end of the podcast.
19:21
Um, So it's really,
19:23
I'm going indulge in food,
19:25
friends, um, family, or
19:27
yeah, mentioned we're off to
19:29
Thunder Bay, Ontario, which
19:31
is essentially in the Canadian
19:33
Arctic. Um, we, I
19:35
don't know how we're gonna
19:37
get there. I think
19:39
there's a dog sled involved
19:41
somewhere, Um, but just
19:43
relaxing, enjoying life. Um, and
19:45
in -bi -bing, is that
19:48
the word? In -bi -bing? Yeah, Yeah.
19:50
so investing in that hedonism. Yeah.
19:53
Yeah, I'm going invest in a
19:55
little accomplishment because I want finish a
19:57
whole baby blanket. over yeah!
19:59
holidays. Yeah. Oh, do you have news?
20:01
have news? for me. I'm for
20:03
me. kidding. That's so mean. so mean.
20:05
likes to do to do this.
20:07
our is something I always
20:09
do to family because I always do
20:12
always think, because when are they going
20:14
to tell us that to having
20:16
a kid? they're And so I always
20:18
say, And so I when people talk
20:20
about news, I always say to
20:22
the group, Oh, by by the way,
20:25
we have some news of our
20:27
own. And Arden just does a
20:29
big face every time because knows, I I
20:31
think people have realized that I'm crying
20:33
wolf every time and don't believe
20:36
me anymore. Yeah, this is becoming a
20:38
crying wolf situation becoming a ever going to
20:40
believe you if we ever do have
20:42
a baby, but going to is kind of
20:44
funny we ever do have a is a consistent
20:46
thing. funny how this is a knows that you're
20:48
thing just you do. And around there are
20:50
a few people I haven't gotten
20:52
joking around. There very excited I haven't
20:54
hoping, they will. Well, people
20:57
one of these times, it will be true. hoping.
20:59
So are making a baby blanket for a
21:01
good friend of mine. of
21:03
mine. child. new not our
21:05
child. our child. A friend's child. No can't
21:07
do this, so the whole
21:10
podcast. do this. So the whole know
21:12
if they care, don't know if
21:14
they care. But family definitely
21:16
does. they they do. taking
21:18
it easy for the it easy for the
21:20
next couple of weeks. Yeah. Yeah, it
21:22
easy. easy. And we hope you have
21:24
a a nice opportunity to take it
21:27
easy this holiday. If you you
21:29
listen to this podcast, you
21:31
probably work hard. hard, you know,
21:33
you You know, you probably invest
21:35
in your productivity, and
21:37
it's such a great time of the
21:39
year to reflect what is that
21:41
investment for? What are the
21:43
dividends that you want productivity to
21:45
pay for you? You pay
21:47
for even know, you it
21:49
is even which is completely
21:51
fine. think, which is know,
21:54
fine, I even though it know, a
21:56
core value of both of
21:58
us, value of both of us, it is, you know, You
22:00
know, something that is
22:02
valued to a high degree across a
22:04
lot of people And so if
22:06
that's true for you double down on
22:08
that account. What's something you want
22:11
to to accomplish in your personal life?
22:13
What are other values that you
22:15
can invest in at the same time?
22:17
Do you value benevolence and do
22:19
you want to spend? Spend that time
22:21
helping other people do you value
22:23
tradition and do you want to double
22:26
down on the on the wonderful
22:28
traditions and the tidings I've
22:30
never used that word unironically
22:32
before of the season, Yeah, I
22:34
think you have to say
22:36
of the season after I
22:39
have no idea. Yeah, I don't
22:41
even know what a tidying is. I
22:43
wish you good tidings. don't know.
22:46
wish you good tidings. Thank
22:48
you, Arden. That's very kind of
22:50
you. Whatever your purpose is,
22:52
we're becoming more productive investing in
22:54
this productivity advice. We
22:57
hope that you can experience
22:59
those dividends this holiday season. have
23:01
a weird look on your
23:03
face. I looked up tidings. It
23:05
is news or information as in
23:07
being the bearer of glad tidings.
23:10
Oh, so when you
23:12
mindlessly scroll social media,
23:14
are you receiving tidings?
23:16
because it's news. How
23:19
does that sounds like it.
23:21
Yeah. I mean like synonyms
23:23
are news, information, intelligence, I
23:25
mean, I don't know how
23:27
much actual news. And in
23:29
Canada, you're probably getting actually
23:31
no news on Instagram, but,
23:33
uh, yeah, unfortunately it's, it's
23:36
blocked here. But, um, yeah,
23:38
bearing information or news. Yeah.
23:40
Yeah, you go. All right, so
23:42
the paper brings me tidings every
23:44
morning. Yes, not necessarily always glad
23:46
tidings, but I wish you very
23:48
glad tidings. Yeah, glad tidings, that's
23:50
what they say. Have a wonderful,
23:52
wonderful holiday. We'll take a bit of
23:54
time off over the holidays. We're
23:56
not going to do an episode on.
24:00
December 31st, I I think
24:02
that's the next date date.
24:04
And nobody, the listener numbers numbers during
24:06
the holidays plummet who cares
24:08
who cares about productivity uh, over
24:10
the over the if you if
24:12
you I I think we have
24:14
a a couple back episodes about New Year's Oh,
24:16
yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. There you
24:18
go. get those loaded up. So those
24:20
loaded up. So if you're super motivated
24:23
about New Year's New you can revisit
24:25
that plan by listening to our New
24:27
Year's resolution. plan by can be lazy to
24:29
you can be lazy hope you
24:31
have a chance to enjoy all
24:33
that your productivity Hope you the year
24:35
has brought enjoy all hope you have
24:37
